calberian: What if there was an explosion and he barely survived under a pile of rubble? And it'd take up to 15hrs before he's rescued. He'll need the beer to sustain him till then. I would.
You think it was instinctive but I say it was conscious and completely intentional . Only him can tell what happened. He may not be conscious of what he was doing as the time he was captured. And under a rubble, I don't think he will have that pint of beer in his hand. |

Erums: Not all islam follow muhammed... There are factions I believe Islam is a religion of peace. And that there are radicalised groups of Islam fomenting terror everywhere. However, what I'm yet to see all these years is any attempt from the peaceful factions at condemning these radical Islamic terror. If they are not a welcomed faction of Islam, then all Genuine and Peaceful Muslim should go out on a world wide crusade at condemning them. There will always be factions in every religion, but if you don't control your followers properly, and especially when your message is not clear, it will always be hijacked by bad people. |

How did these 2 girls get their English up to scratch in just 3 years, such that they were able to graduate within the period of time? I'm surprised too to hear that they are being taught how to speak English...I wonder if the WAEC they wanted to write then will be written in Hausa. Celebrities › Re: Efe Is Nigerian Youth Ambassador - Solomon Dalung by CaptainFM1: 8:09am On May 31, 2017 |
majorbravo: The show is over, dude has a life too. I understand your point but you need to understand how governance is run. Ambassadorial positions are usually given to people who have had major influence on the people they have been appointed to represent. Such influence is expected to be positive. However, in this case, the Nigerian government is just capitalizing on the popularity Efe enjoys with a majorly Nigerian youth populace, in the hopes he could use his personality (which the Nigerian youth claimed they loved about him on the show) to influence the youths positively with a more dignified outside house persona.
Ever wondered why beauty pageant winners are made ambassadors for culture and stuff? Typically beauty should have nothing to do with those sorts of positions but its how governance is run and ambassadorial appointments of this kind are made, on the ability to influence.
Notwithstanding, I do agree with you that there might be better options for that position, However, there isnt a huge support from Nigerian youths themselves for more enlightening programs in the country, too bad it took a show like Big Brother to grab their attention init? [b]Trust me the reaction from government would have been same if over 10 million Nigerians who voted on Big Brother would also watch the Cowbell Maths Competition. [/bpBefore we point hands at government the Nigerians also need to set their priorities straight. Tough luck you might say but yeah that's exactly the point we share: Nigeria needs to be schooled in a lot of things. I partly disagree with you. If the packages for educational competitions are at par with all this useless fake reality shows, you can bet many more Nigerians will watch them. Do you can think there will be any Efe if the price tag of BBN is 100K? The truth is we like to celebrate irrelevances in this country.

Christianity Etc › Re: Lagos Chapel Members Desert Church Over Sacking Of Presiding Chaplain by CaptainFM1: 8:11pm On May 29, 2017 |
Alphacrissy: Why are you contradicting yourself, seems your thought does not agree with your convinction; You used the opening part of your speech to dechristianise Ambode, while you use the latter part to hope for ANOTHER christian. Oga, go school. No, u do not understand my view. My main point is being Christain simply because you go to church does not make you Christlike. I do not condemn Ambode neither do I dechristianise him. And truth is, the whole Chaplain story has been one sided so far. We are yet to hear from the office of the Governor their own account. If its a state owned church and the Governor has the right to hire and fire, we just need to hear their own account. We all, as well as Ambode are only trying or thriving to be Christlike. So no one is perfect. I do not by any means infer that Ambode is bad neither is he not doing his best to be Christlike. I'm only trying to define what being a christian mean. I hope you see the need for Grace of God upon our lives So clamouring for another Christian Governor after Ambode's 8years is just my own position. This current Chaplain story does not in anyway diminish the respect I have for our enviable Governor. Meanwhile, I will not join issue with you on your last sentence. Its just totally uncalled for. |

deor03: We want Christian governor in Lagos! We want Christian governor in Lagos!! We want Christian governor in Lagos!!!
Have we seen the result now ? Do you know the meaning of Christian? Anyway if you don't I'll tell you. Christian means Christlike. The fact that someone goes to church does not make him a Christian. A christian must follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Showing lack of humility is not a characteristic of a Christian. So, now that you understand the meaning of the word Christian...Do you think Ambode typifies a Christian? Yes we want Christain, and mind you after Ambode' 8years, we want another Christian for another 8years to complete the 16years of Tinubu and Fashola! Preferably a Catholic or Methodist when Ambode complete his 8years. |

How come no one is posting the speech made by the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo - Dr. Nnia Nwodo?
Was he not one of the keynote speakers at the event?
Or could it be that his speech is destructive to the One Nigeria propaganda?
Or are the One Nigeria apologists still not getting it?
When are they going to realize that it's stupid and a pure waste of time for non-Biafrans to tell Biafrans what is best for Biafrans and what is not?
Age is sure a mere number. You can post Dr Nnia Nwodo's speech! |

Justuceleague2: Sorry if this sounds insensitive but I think his girlfriend wanted him to die
Why? First of all if you work at a filling station, you must be at work by 6-7, not 8 AM, that's the first kleg
Secondly boyfriend texts you he wants to commit suicide but you stayed at work, calling him, he didn't pick your call and you assumed everything is OK?
On a very good day, considering all the publicity suicide and depression has received, a sane person would rush home to meet bf , if sex would calm him, if it's weed if it's drinking to stupor , something will save him that day
But I guess these generation of ladies, majority of them are selfish money gobbling problems , and they don't love like our fore fathers and parents used to
That's a fact, you can mention or insult all you want it wouldn't change the fact that girls these days are after money only not love Na wa ooo! Did any lady broke your heart? You just directed your anger to ladies on top of suicide story? Anyways take chill pills and relax your mind. I can feel your vexation. |
