Lol. Those guys sliding into the dug grave sef. Are they now the ones that the sand will be poured on in place of the casket? ![]() |
JuanJO:South Eastern Nigwria expressways are safer than it was? That's good news. Or are you being sarcastic? |
Well, maybe that is what will eventually bring down the government. And who wouldn't welcome what will bring down a nepotistic, clannish, bigot and inept government? Things are already hard for most Nigerians as it is even without hike in fuel prices that inflation is at an all high. Removal of fuel subsidy in a majorly fuel driven economy like Nigeria is will definitely sink the people. It would have been better if the inflation in Nigeria now is subsidy removal-related rather than corruption-related. At least Nigerians will understand better. |
breadtom:And now after you don blow from the support, you will come back to say you're not Nigerian and brag that you didn't even attain your online popularity in Nigeria. |
Aaaaand another Fulani man. Weldone Buhari. Fulani 1: Nigerians 0. |
eliok:By 3.7v each that you mentioned, I'll wager those are lithium batteries, more likely the LFP. If I'm correct, you will need to incorporate a BMS for those cells to last well and to stay within balance. eliok:Using DC source has advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantage is that it provides more efficiency since you use it directly to power devices which mostly have DC powered internals even though they may have AC power input. Your average AC powered TV has AC-DC converter electronics inside to ensure DC source to power the ICs, boards and stuff. So the AC-DC converter of your 24 inch Samsung was installed as external part (probably for want of space in a small 24 inches form factor), ditto for GoTV, startimes and DSTV (except the explorer decoder). One marked disadvantage of DC is the tendency for it to require thick cable guage over longer distances. There is a standard required cable gauge per specific distance of DC transmission that you have, below which power losses due to increasing resistance occur. That's why you may have 12v source at one end of a 10m DC wire but end up measuring 11.8v by the time it gets to the other end. Also with DC voltage, different devices use different DC voltage source like you stated earlier. Therefore even if your DC source is 24v, you will require a 24v to 12v DC buck converter at the termination of a 12v device, and same principle goes for 5v and 3v devices. You will require a 24v to 48v boost converter to power 48v devices. Good boost buck converters are usually a bit expensive, more expensive that AC transformers required in AC power transmission. So you can expect another more expense from DC over AC in that regards. AC transmission is above those limitations. As for me, all lightings - LED lightings (except an AC powered chandelier like that) use 12v DC power. Every other sockets run AC source. By the way, where did you get the Samsung 24 inches? Is it smart TV and is it brand new or Tokunbo? How much was it? I like for myself something of that form factor. So it'll also be great if you help with the model number. |
yetmao:@Yetmao. You sent me a message to my mail via NL message but I don't know how to respond via the mail sent to my inbox. I therefore searched out your username here on NL. How may I be of help? |
So what do we call these people now? Buhari rights activists or terrorists? Remember when Buhari lost the third election he contested and his sympathisers We this is also like it. And now that they've spoken, let's hear the excuses they will also give to justify the "threat to life and endangerment" as a response to "harassment". |
helinues:Oh no. You're sick dude. Really eff'd up sick. Helinues, your notoriety precedes you. You spare no one any doubt about your antisocial stand. And you keep proving people right about what/who they tag you to be. NgeneUkwenu:Well, I don't know if this info you provided is true or not. But if true, I think it is better to have them charged to court than not even hearing from them at all. They being incommunicado will bring all sorts of most grievous imaginations of what might have befallen 'em, and that is why the OP and his aunt are worried like mad. Ever since they've been arrested, according to him, they've not been heard from. At least if they're allowed to communicate with their families while in detention, fears will be allayed and the families know that the only thing they need do is to hope for some divine intervention because in Nigeria, finding a good lawyer that could get you out of problem with a dictatorial government with poor human rights record like Nigeria has is near impossible. |
chukwugoziegi:Yes, for real. I use this for a number of my home appliances. In fact, I just took delivery of two pieces last week. Links coming up in a bit. teemac01:I think your co-tenant a can invest in wireless switches for four or five users. The signal receiver can be placed anywhere outside or inside the "veteran tenant" home while everyone has their own switch. With just a press from the comfort of your room, you can turn it on or off. I think it should cost less than 10k on AliExpress and anyone with a fair knowledge of DIY can connect it to an existing NEPA connection. Alternatively, you can use wireless sockets (costs around 7k or so) that you can control the pump from your phone locally or from anywhere in the world with a SIM or WiFi enabled type of wireless switch. For those with overnight noisy neighbours or that have the overnight company of grinding generator noise behind their window, I think earmuffs can come in handy when they sleep. For those with neighbours that fetch water from water tanks they are not willing to help to sustain, just electronic locks will suffice. Only you or any other same neighbour will have the passcode or the switch to unlock when you wanna fetch. Just pray bad belle neighbours do not vandalize it. Those are the solutions I will definitely apply if I were in these situations. Honestly reading thru these submissions, Nigerians especially and maybe Africans as a whole are much tolerant. And I think it's more because of the communal culture that we have, which is not a bad culture. In the west, people get the police called on 'em for making few decibels of unwarranted noise for sustained periods. In fact, in several places you may not set eye on your neighbour or say anything more than hi for six months after you move in, and not minding being some introverted person I don't think I will relish such lonesome environment. No generator of course, but if there has to be any source of fumes from any source, the CO (carbon monoxide) alarm - which is a must for every homes - will ensure no one engages in life-endangering ventures that produce toxic fumes. The unduely snubbish, this-project-does-not-concern-me-type of street neighbour is the one I've experienced of recent. Before my arrival, he'd some unpleasant clash with majority of street peeps in landlord meetings and the usually refer to him as "the rich man of the street" which to me is more of mockery than praise because I will likely pay his monthly salaries from my own salary. He will not partake in any financial commitments from the landlords and the day I witnessed that personally was the day I ruled him out of consideration and immediately tagged him as having a serious personality disorder. He never give lifts to street neighbours in his car. In fact he will roll down the windows, then tell you that you shouldn't be angered for driving past you as it's not in his manner to give lifts. I mean who does that. The wife is nice and an almost direct opposite of all the man is, but if he ever spots her giving lifts in her car, stopping by to greet neighbours or even sound remotely patronising of any neighbour, that day she is in trouble. So she does good things secretly. Contribute money to bring NEPA light into the street, no he won't. Money to construct street gate, no. Money to grade the street road, no. Of course many other peasant families in the street default payment too but those ones are understandable. But I don't expect such terrible attitude from "the-wealthy-man-of-the-street". So I decided to rattle him a little. I got a couple of those 15k solar street floodlights and gave it to a carpenter landlord on the street with specific instructions to him to make sure it is installed on every other pole and ensures that the pole close to his compound is among the "every other pole" skipped. One neighbour of his met with me that he loved to have solar in his home but he could only afford little money. So I gave him one of my fairly used batteries and encouraged him to try his best to get solar panels. He had lights in his home in no time and it shocked that other nutcase that how could this peasant landlord neighbour of his afford solar in his home while he himself does not. Few weeks after I noticed he too went to subscribe for MTN lumous set. Jealous right? Yeah he was. Lumous that I wouldn't even advice my enemy to go for. Thank God I'm even the reserved type, so I have no reason to crave his company or his friendship. |

Is nor your fot. It's Buhari's fot. Oh and Desmond Daniel058:That's a very good location o, I can ashua (in Buhari's voice) you. Just don't forget to ask Hisbah to provide you with security against herdsmen. Members of Hisbah on this forum are already planning another bout of ban for you. ![]() |

daylay7:Bámidélé or whatever you call yourself, you nor well. Shey o wà okay shá? I think your name should be added to the list of Playboys and demons along with names like Femi, Tunde, Segun, Vincent, Chuks etc that are commonly heartbreakers. When he now has problems with his marriage as a result of infidelity, he will not allow people rest on Nairaland. Then you will start seeing front page topics like "Help, I'm married but my ex-girlfriend got pregnant for me", "Help, my wife has threatened to kill herself and I when she discovered I have a relationship outside", "Help, I'm married but I slept with my ex-girldriend and now I think I have HIV", "New couple clash as wife pours acid/hot oil on cheating husband". Nonsense. Except this OP is trying to catch cruise or trend with this topic, I don't think he deserves any advice of any kind. Because if indeed it's true life story, then I'm sorry for him and I hope he burns in Hades for betraying the love of his wife and mortgaging the peace in his family by even remotely entertaining any iota of romantic urge towards that ex. What nonsense. An ex is called that for a reason. Do you realize that it will be more painful for your spouse if she finds out your infidelity is with your ex more than it will be if it is with any random girl? Thinking of your ex alone is a slap on your wife cos it simply means she is not worth as much as the ex to you in the first instance. I don't even stay as "friends" once we've dated before. Even if you turn down my advances but still want to smartly put me in the friend zone or in the "please I urgently need 2k zone", you become enstranged to me at once. You become an outcast, an anathema and a virus to be avoided at all cost. The only person that should deserve your attention is the one who was ready to accept you/accepted you and that person is your wife. For whatever reason the ex rejected you at that time, you should move on and ignore her memories even if you can't totally delete them. I'm so pissed right now. Ginaz:It's understandable that humans (both male and female) are polyphahic, hoping to try out new menu different from what they currently enjoy. Even if his wife gives it to him in all manner conceivable only in p0rn movies, guys may still wish to get laid outside. The agreement between the dude and his wife was to be faithful till death do them part. It's a different cup of tea if they agreed on an open relationship/marriage or if they agreed on polygamy from the start cos he will not be breaking an agreement that way. The wife will have a prepped mind that her husband may also be getting it outside, so no emotional trauma will ensue from that. What is annoying in his short post is the fact that he did not even give any sign of worrying about the effect his actions will have on his wife. Such disrespect. |
![]() Na wa o. Minjim:Well dude confessed to being a DSS operative. And to those wondering why he caved in so easily to interrogation, the guy being Yoruba himself knows the level of jazz in play in this struggle. He either has been hit with a "local confession serum" or he is plain afraid of the consequences of lying in that place that he had no choice but to sing like a canary. In the video, that DSS guy himself ack!owledged the fact that "Chief" (it's even funny the guy quickly humbled calling a civilian citizen Igboho chief) is not an easy nut to crack. He admits that he has some degree of invincibility. |
executive12:You skipped some parts of the narration of this history, perhaps you didn't know those parts. So here goes: • The first opportunity to ensure a peaceful breakup was first bungled by Nnamdi Azikiwe in 1959. The upcoming Nigerian constitution was to be drawn in Britain and in attendance were the stakeholders. Awolowo maintained that a "secession clause" should be included in the constitution. This will ensure that in the event of any group being dissatisfied with the union, it is free to peacefully negotiate her exit from the union. But Nnamdi Azikiwe had to go behind him to tell the British to expunge that clause. • The second opportunity for maintaining the hitherto regional development and progress that was happening in the union, and maybe a possible secession by any dissatisfied region thru its own laws was again bungled in the 1967 coup by Kaduna Nzeogwu. After the coup, Aguiyi Ironsi was installed the head of state and one of the first things he did was to abolish the regional system of governance, removed the position of the prime minister and created the federating government which Nigeria practices today and which southerners are calling for an end to today. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and the North staged a counter coup and seeing the lopsided benefit the "federating government" creates in their favour, decided to keep it and fought to hold on to power in order to mainted that lopsidedness which we see today in form of clannishness and nepotism. • Then came the third opportunity, the Biafra war which you mentioned and which as you rightly put it, Nigerians resisted. But the war wasn't really an opportunity in the strictest sense of it. It is a war that would never have been if the first and second opportunities were present. Matter of factly, the secession should have been a bloodless one as opposed to the bloody war had those two opportunities that were bungled were present. In between those first and second opportunities were some not too notable occurrences that ensured further division of the south as against the strong unity of the North. Like the pact Nnamdi Azikiwe made his political party have with the north when he went behind Awolowo to meet with the North. This was against the initial agreement between the duo to have a strong southern political party. However Azikiwe had a more "convenient" North-South amalgam. So there you have it. Well, we may have another bloodless opportunity soon, apparently created by Buhari's government having contested and failed three different times in a row. I hope the south coalition continues strongly in order to fully exploit that opportunity and seal the chance. |
OMG! This is exactly the same scenario with Baba Ijesha's. Where are the pervs who were blaming Ìyábò Òjó for "setting up" Baba Ijesha? And one unreasonable Yòmí Fábíyî staging a protest for his release? Oya make una start to blame the minor's guardian for "setting up" a suspected paedophile to ensure the metro police get concrete evidence that will be useful in prosecution. If you don't have the tendency to commit wrongdoing, there is no "set up" scenario that will trap you. You only need to run away from the scene and the fact that you fled from misdeaminour is enough to vindicate you in any law court. In Nigeria, the reverse is the case. Good people get punished for what they do not do, while dishonesty is rewarded. |
Eco99:Which isn't bad by the way, considering what Hollywood does with stage effect and those their constructed studios. It's all aimed at using limited resources to create a maximum life effect. What I don't subscribe to, and which is definitely retrogressive and non-competitive is the Hisbah controlling making of home movies in "Kannywood" or northern Nigeria to be more specific. |
A lot of progressive countries are gradually becoming a "first to" in a number of good things, displacing the US in setting records. Recently, Beijing became the country with the most billionaires, displacing New York from first position. Nigeria well, Nigeria recently displaced Afghanistan as the third most terrorised countries in the world, displaced India as the poverty capital of the world and also recently tagged the "worst governed country" in the world. It is well. Eco99:Which isn't bad by the way, considering what Hollywood does with stage effect and those their constructed studios. So you people that are crying more than the bereaved should come see this o. Sharp contrast to Evans the kidnapper's wife and children that were crying on the Social Media the other time that their father be freed, conveniently ignoring the fact that his actions led to mournings, crys and depression for the families of many of his victims. The father don talk say the law should take its due course. C'est Fini. |
Probably he isn't the romantic type and he may not know that the female gender gets turned on more by what they hear, even if they are lies. And he may love you and the kids deep down inside. Not every man is the same. If you've tried talking him into it and he doesn't seem to wanna key in, then perhaps you should let things rest a little. The Oyinbos most times value these sundries over true love and care from the spouses and that's why divorce isn't seem far away from 'em. If he is faithful to your marriage, treats you fine and takes good care of the family, I think you shouldn't trade him for morsel of compliment that may not even put food on the table. Some husbands compliment their wives on the surface but in actual fact face-fvck and "face-compliment" the wives while thinking of other women outside. The wives would not know about the cheating husband and so they keep giggling away sheepishly. Have you stopped to think if those men that compliment your looks outside give same compliments to their spouses back home? |
Shoodboi:Hmmm. Anything to trend. I have no IG account so I was restricted to only three item views on her account as a guest, but with that limited views I come dey wonder if truly she is a student or a "freelance marketer". Cos that her showmanship level for that IG account is at par with professional hoe-low-shows. What then would her parents that reported her missing to the police think, seeing their daughter deliberately missing school for three whole weeks and probably seeing her online "body advertisement channel"? |
Shoodboi:She has some seriously "marketing" videos on that her IG account that it is hard to believe she has real intent to study. She seems to be better at the "body marketing department" than at being a student. |
Is the Indian strain not able to kill Nigerians? It seems to have also lost its virulence the moment it crossed into Nigeria ![]() |
seborrhic:Mhen! It's the truth, the absolute truth. I saw one or two videos of such being circulated on the social media. It was gory! Real life acts by these guys and being filled by themselves. You know that the Fulanis own mobile phones with video capability these days. Someone claimed that one of the reasons Fulanis would rather eat a goat than eat cow is because of that fact that they put their own s3men in the cows. |
seborrhic:You forgot to add "bestiality". The herdsmen have s3x with their cows. |
If El "Ruffian" Rufai and co are not in the list, then it's audio prosecution. |
This, coming from Lai "Liar" Mohammed is hard to believe. So I choose to expect no lockdown with guarded optimism. |
Kingk47:Even if not always try sometimes to read articles no matter how long. You may get to learn a thing or two. It can even push you to seek more references where you get to learn new things. For instance, your question above could have been solved yourself if you check out other external resources. S3x/gender determination isn't strictly by the type of external Instruments (phenotype) but rather more by the genetic makeup (genotype). So you have "phenotypic male or female" and "genotypic male or female" depending on whether you reckon with the physical attributes or a more advanced genetic attributes. The two s3x chromosomes in human genetic make up are X chromosome for female and Y chromosome for male. So he must have been tested to ensure that he has the Y chromosome which would dictate that every other s3x organs in his body goes the male way. He only had a challenge with the full development of the external g3nitalia. |
He appears to be a stingy individual. A shylock and he has added dishonesty to it. He is a bag of antisocial things. You looking away may be like conspiring with him. But you need to check your inner man and conscience if you would still have decided to report him if you both were not enstranged or if you were not already quoting the house. If you're sure your reaction will be to still report his wrongdoing irrespective of whether you both are friends or not, then by all means report him to the authorities. Qoko:Follow this method. Or try doing it in some anonymous manner. |
