cjrane: This is most uncalled for. But it is expected of the Fulani army that protected murderous herdsmen to kill farmers, but deploy Fulani troops to kill vigilantes protecting farmlands.
ESN should operate a purely guerrilla tactics. Hit hard and disappear. They should not be cowed by intimidation by Nigerian army. More importantly they shouldn't hold back from maximum reprisals against both these troops and their herdsmen targets if any of their men are killed by the Fulani army.
Even taking it out on those Fulanis in the markets selling cows and whatever is fair game if the Fulani troops kill any ESN in his homeland.
We all know nibo is a town unlike Awka, Okay but which LGA is nibo, Which territory is nibo, but note that Nibo is under control of Awka (territory) governing entity use ur sense bruh
That silly red oil guy is not only from Nibo, he is from Nise.
Just ask him the landmarks in his town or where his town begins or ends, he does not know because its not in google.
Yoruba brats always think they are smarter than everyone in the world. I met one that persistently used google-translate to write Igbo. When I asked him to translate what he wrote and pointed out that it was not the same, he immediately claimed he lived all his life and Lagos still swearing he was Igbo . In the end, i proved it to him that he was using google translate which was not very accurate for the complexities of Igbo language where one word could have several meanings based on pronunciation not captured by google-translate. By the way, i have no qualms against Yoruba google addicts. i just find it silly when they think everyone they meet must be a fool to easily fall for their half-baked deceit.
That is why i don't waste my time reading his silly posts nor responding intelligently to any of his crap.
Its all Fulani plot to use Igbos against ESN to avoid the planned reprisals against Fulanis by ESN. Truth be told, even if you don't like MNK, you will agree that ESN is a child of necessity like AMOTEKUN. The Fulanis have been slaughtering people in their villages and conveniently calling the killing "herder-farmer clashes" Without ESN, the south will be starved by Fulani as nobody will dare go to the farms again without losing their life.
The Fulani Nigerian army is trying to foment crisis using the village vigilantes, it will fail because ultimately the people know they are all on the same side. Las las, Fulani troops will have to come out of the smokescreen and attack ESN, which will be the beginning of freedom from Fulani neocolonialism for Nigerians. ESN should have no reservations in inflicting the same level of pain on any zoo military group or herders that attacks it unjustifiably and simply equip themselves properly for any eventuality with Fulani troops.
AMC
This is great! So wonderful that they kept to their plan of tarring every major road and side street in the city even before houses begin to be erected.
If you ask me, i would suggest instead of spending so much time to paint the curb black & white like typical Nigerian roads, the time should be used for landscaping with grass, flowers and trees to make the environment truly spectacular like such cities abroad.
This gladdens the heart. I wonder what happened to the other hotel in Onitsha?
They really need to complete that hotel to resemble the Agulu resort. Then Anambra would have at least 2 five star hotels in the major cities. I'm sure when the airport is completed, more of these types of hotels would naturally spring up around that airport.
These are some of the reasons I agree when people say Obiano TRANSFORMED Anambra state. He somehow believes in quality more than his predecessors. For the first time in my life, I see the quality of structures and construction you hitherto only found in Abuja, Nairobi etc. In the past, even if they did this, they will use a local bricklayer and incompetent manager to run the hotel. Which would make the final outcome remain substandard. But, Obiano understands the saying that what is worth doing at all, is worth doing well. That is why I can only imagine the type of edifice he would build as the international airport terminal 1. As i heard from reliable sources that they plan on making the airport a 5 terminal airport eventually, but only the first terminal will be completed next year.
mktinsight: Nice. Now replicate this in Awka preferably inside the awka stadium grounds with tennis, basketball courts, children play pen, benches, trees, changing rooms, swimming pool.
Like your silly opinion matters. Advise Ogun state first, then you can find how Obasanjo is an Igbo to peddle another silly opinion why Igbo does not deserve Nigerian presidency.
mktinsight: Obiano government had 40 billion naira of Capex every year since 2014. 7 years x 40 = 280 billion or almost 600 million dollars at current exchange rates. Please show me 600 million dollars worth of projects in Anambra state.
At least we know what Obi did with the roughly 500 million dollars he received during his tenure. He saved 156 million dollars and built the Onitsha to umunya expressway, old road, Tarzan flyover and hundreds of kilometers of rural roads not to mention the secretariat building in Awka, the Anambra state university teaching hospital and FUNDED the completion of Agulu Lake Hotel and the Onitsha Mall. Moreover he invested state money in Hero brewery which clearly is paying dividend to the state.
Obiano has spent a lot of money in projects of questionable value. The oil rig Bridge with no record of oil production till date, three flyovers of in Awka which trailers cannot climb, a last minute attempt to build an airport when three are within 40km of the state. An ICC in Awka probably the only project of note which is heavily delayed by poor project management. He is rushing to finish the FIFA mini stadium in Awka for which FIFA gave ANSG money since 2012.
Meanwhile all inner roads in the state capital are collapsing, roads in Onitsha are collapsing.
[/s]
Look mr. man, Please don't ever quote me again if you want to commit mischief with lies and fake news!
You can peddle your lies about whether Nigeria had more income during the Jonathan years of prior to 2015 or the Buhari years. When it suites you goons to support Buhari for his lack of achievement despite huge borrowings and foreign debt, you quickly cite that the country received less resources due to price of oil in international market.
So please peddle your silly lies as much as you like, I personally would only skip your idiotic posts. But never quote me to draw my attention to your mischievous lies! Your exasperation that Obiano is determined to complete the airport will get worse as you see pictures of the progress daily.
The FIFA Standard Awka Mini-Stadium nearing completion!
Without mincing words, if Obiano is able to deliver the international airport, the International Conference Center and this stadium between now and December 2021, he would have been one of the greatest sons of Anambra State!
Not minding the three flyover bridges, the roads, agricultural revolution, bringing in great estates such as Awka Millennium city and Onitsha Luxury estates and completing Agulu Lake Hotels, Onitsha malls, upgrade of Onitsha General into a Specialist Hospital, top-notch security and many more. Obiano indeed transformed Anambra state in his time.
Mind you in the same thread, i had been called a Peter Obi agent because i praised Peter's enormous achievements and that I hate Obiano because i initially doubted him when he kept signing MOUs without any visible action. But the truth be said, his achievements remain unsurpassed so far. Unless we get a serious man as the next governor who will take the state towards real development and not silly looters that will initiate white elephant skyscraper projects just as an avenue to loot.
We are still grateful to Peter Obi for bringing in a performer like Obiano. Although both men later fell apart. But Anambra state managed to benefit from the administrative acumen of Obiano. The ball is now in the court of Obiano to ensure that APGA selects the best technocrat for the job. Not necessarily a "yes man" that will be loyal to him. In the end, it is the good of Anambra state that ultimately matters not necessarily if the successor is loyal to Obiano or not.
winningwinner: Following the trending news going on in the social Media, Nigeria & the world at Large concerning the announcement & the launching of the Eastern Security Network by the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra Nazi Nnamdi Kanu on Saturday 12th December 2020
It was gathered that that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu launched the Eastern Security Network and published the videos on the social media.
He maintained that the Eastern security Network was created by him & IPOB so as to provide adequate security of lives & property of the entire Eastern region from the menace of the Fulani Herdsmen who have been attacking different towns & villages in Biafra land thereby leading to the death of the Biafran people.
Launching of the security outfit generated different arguments from people in questioning the status of the security out.
Some people said that it's Biafran army that was launched but now the Indigenous People Of Biafra have come up with a press statement issued by the IPOB media secretary in Nigeria Comrade Emma Powerful so as to clear everyone on the status & operations of the new Easter Security Network. It was gathered that today being the 17th day of December, the
Arewa youths consultative forum gave the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu seven days ultimatum to disband security network.
While interviewed by the press, the leader of Arewa Youths consultative forum(IYF) comrade Yerima Shetima said that he is giving IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu seven days ultimatum to dissolve the Eastern Security Network or he do the unthinkable or that he will unite all the terrorists in the North to come & fight against the Igbos in the East.
Yerima also berated the Yoruba leaders for supporting IPOB leader Maxi Nnamdi Kanu for creating Eastern Security Network (ESN) and promised to be ruthless against them when he finally leads his army.
His statement says as follows in qoute " I have watched the video of the so called Eastern Security Network formed by Nnamdi kanu.
I welcome this challenge and I will tell Nnamdi Kanu that he is a learner.
I will assemble my own warriors including all the terrorist groups operating in the north to be ready.
If after seven days, this so called Eastern security Network is not dissolved, then we will March to Igbo land.
As for the Yorubas who are the most stupid and treacherous tribe in Nigeria, we are going to see them in a dimensions they won't imagine for this betrayals.
Seven days from now, Nigeria will become something else and we are ready for division but before then, we the northern warriors will show Igbos and Yorubas why we are being feared all over the world"
This was the threatening statement peddled or issued by the leader of the Area consultative forum(IYF) today & this has Led people to as different questions like.
Is the Arewa youth leader the president of Nigeria?
Are we not in a democratic society where everyone is allowed to express themselves?
Why is it that he have never condemned the attack of Igbo people by the Fulani herdsmen?
Why is it that he Shetima Yerima have not condemned the Fulani National security?
Is Nigeria really one atall?
If only you will dissolve HISBAH, and ensure herders killing and raping women are arrested and prosecuted. I'm sure everyone will have no need for ESN if there were security in the farms.
Kosiso12: JUST IN!!! 'Invest In Nigerian Economy' - Sen. Kalu Urges Nigerians In Diaspora
Former Abia State Governor and Senate Chief Whip, Dr Orji Kalu, has called on Nigerians in the Diaspora to invest in the Nigerian economy in order to stimulate local economy and ultimately drive sustainable development.
IGBERE TV reports that Senator Kalu who showered praises on Mr Nnamdi Imo, a Nigerian who resides in Canada, for investing in the hospitality industry in Nigeria, stressed that it is only Nigerians both home and abroad that can build a prosperous nation.
Ths business magnate cum-politician, who was special guest of honour at the commissioning of Blujay Lounge, a beautiful edifice located close to the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS), Lekki, Lagos, recently, called on other Nigerians abroad to emulate the investment drive of Imo, who he described as a successful businessman and patriotic Nigerian.
Kalu said: "Imo I want to thank you for remembering to invest in Nigeria. Most people in Canada, America, Britain, Milan and what have, do not even want to come back home.
"I also want to thank your wife and children for supporting you to build this beautiful edifice and boasting the home economy."
Before the Senate Chip went ahead to cut the ceremonial tape and officially declared the Lounge open, he acknowledged the presence of a community of hospitality operators who have created a paradise of services in Aba, Owerri, Onitsha, Oort Harcourt, Enugu and other major cities in Nigeria.
Kalu pointed out that the hospitality giants have all done what is proper as patriotic Nigerians.
His words: "All those people who own hotels in Owerri, Aba, Onitsha and seated here today to witness the official opening of Blujay Lounge, are my brothers. They have all done what you have done and they are up and doing. That is what it supposed to be, because when wealth is brought back home, it says where it began from. You have done what I expected you to do, because if you don't invest well you cannot rip well."
Speaking as a mentor to several younger entrepreneurs, Kalu recalled that when he started, he had invested well. "If I had squandered my initial money living reckless life, I wouldn't be where I am today. But I invested well with my conscientious, my whole self and with my everything. I can never go back.
"You have equally invested well, but that is not the end. You have to build a franchise like these your brothers have done. I want to see you establish branches in Aba, Port Harvout, Enugu, Owerri, Abuja, Jos etc.
"Don't side track your wife and children; they are the biggest investment you have. The best investment I have is my wife and children, every other investment is secondary. Friends can fail, enemies can fail but family will never fail you," the Senate Chip Whip counselled.
He continued: "This edifice stands out. Manage it with partnership; people who have stake in your investment. Pay your workers good salaries, you cannot invest millions of naira here and pay your workers N25,000. They will mismanage this edifice. So be wise, learn the secret of the business. That is why these your brothers who are gurus of hospitality business in Aba, Owerri, Onitsha and other parts of the country are succeeding."
Some of the dignitaries, who graced the grand opening of Blujay Lounge include: Chief Charles Ahuize aka Akpuruka, Chief Daniel Okeke, Chief Lastborn, Mr.Zubi Orakwe, Mr Lawrence Iyere, Lady Ebere, Dr Ogbonnaya Izuka, Chief O J Obasi, Chief Dr Paul Anyaso, Alhaji Abudul Raman,Alhaji Abudlahi Yahaya, Pastor Smart Emiyan and Alhaji Yusuf Salau among others.
Nigerian politicians are so wickedly deceitful. You want people already in diaspora to leave their safe countries of residence and invest in Nigeria, while every Nigerian politician and military general is smart enough to move your funds from Nigeria to invest in the diaspora.
Yet, you want people in the diaspora to invest their hard-earned money in a sinking ship on a crazy borrowing frenzy. As if borrowing will become out of fashion after this regime.
Ilaumoh: For the last quarter of this year Displora present you the Top Ten Most beautiful Cities in Nigeria as follows below... 1. Abuja 2.Lagos 3. Uyo 4. Calabar 5. Warri 6. Akure 7. Kaduna 8. Enugu 9. Porthacourt 10. Jos.

Guys what do you think about this publishing by Displora..
[/s]
i don't even necessarily disagree with your silly list if it makes your day. I just want to state clearly that displora is a youtube channel owned by a yoruba woman living in south africa. I personally know people he emailed to use excerpts of their youtube videos for many lists involving Nigeria.
The crooked Nigerian made their silly video to counter the videos below of most beautiful cities in nigeria in 2020 from an independent African video run by Afro Page and other reputable channels
I wish the roof of the Control tower will be used for installation of the radars. It is easily the highest point around the airport. Than constructing another mast to install radars.
TEDHorsePower: Nwanne, don't explain anything to those bitter frustrated people. They know the truth but most of them that are not Anambra people are just jittery about airport in Anambra. They know the implication of pulling and channeling Anambra passengers towards Anambra international airport. That's why they are all whining here.
GBAM!
You hit the nail on its head! Tell me any state in the southeast that deserves an airport more than Anambra? Worst still, they don't condemn the Abakaliki airport at all. WHY?? it clearly reveals their mindset and nefarious intentions. They think Anambra Int. cargo airport will be viable, but they don't think Ebonyi airport will be viable to threaten the airports in their own state.
Wow, even Igalas are in the rank and file. But, my question is why share the video? I suspect this is a fake old video of 2017 when BSS was formed.
Anyhow, the picture of MNK saluting in that video was 1000% fake photoshop. But las las, Buhari and his herdsmen are seriously pushing this country towards a second bloody civil war.
Although i have never been a fan of Rochas Okorocha, but it is obvious that the focus of Imo state government to ridicule the man rather than focus on development of the state is a total misplacement of priority and disastrous for the state's development. In the end, it will backfire and those who spent their time on scheming how to pull Rochas down rather than focus on the development of Imo state will find themselves as the ultimate villains.
I had restrained myself long enough from saying this but the truth is that the tragedy of Imo state is a culture of pull him down syndrome. Imo state is unarguably the richest and most endowed state in the southeast and perhaps one of the richest states in Nigeria. Yet, the bane of Imo state is that those who rule it spend enormous time and energy on trying to undo their predecessors than focus on real developmental well-being of the state. It is an unmitigated tragedy!
Imagine if Imo state government focused on developing its internal oil industry through partnering with firms to build more modular refineries, gas plants and fertilizer blending factories? Imagine if Imo state government focused aggressively on inviting Imo and non-Imo indigenes to develop agricultural potential of the state such as developing new rice fields (Imo Rice), New mega poultry farms, fish farms and new mega pig farms to dominate the poultry, eggs, smoked-dry fish and pork supply business in the southeast and southsouth region?
If Imo state government focused on revitalization of the Imo palm plantations and encouraging new palm plantations with increased priorities on bottled palm oil production, palm kernel cake (PKC) output for pig and fish feeds production. Government partnership with private Agro-allied industries, with Oil & gas private factories can make Imo the employment capital of Nigeria, yet people say there are no jobs in Imo state except civil service? Yet, the Imo state government is more concerned with undoing their predecessors than creating new industries to propel the state and create wealth inside Imo state. Imo State could very easily have the best roads network in the southeast and indeed Nigeria if it simply maintained and improved it's current roads network instead of the culture of toxic politic of pull him down syndrome to discredit who built it. I always weep when I view what Imo state is to what it is truly supposed to be if it had visionary leadership to harness & develop the state's potential. A state like Anambra with less oil resources and less landmass than Imo state has managed to develop its agricultural potential, oil & gas and internal roads network to build up the state's economy, while Imo state is stuck on demolishing the achievements of the previous leaders just to play politics than develop it's massive potential. It's truly sad the type of leaders that have been tolerated by the people of Imo state.
Cjrane2: The guy is a bloody Yoruba and comes here to promote their silly "advise" agenda. If you want to know if Yorubas are truly on the fore-front of calumny campaign against airport development in the southeast region, then do yourself a favor and do a little google search on Internationalization of Enugu airport will kill domestic airlines, case on the Unviability of Owerri airport, downgrade Asaba airport because the runway is too dangerous, Anambra airport is an unneeded white elephant project etc. You will find that all those taking their time to dissuade the development of these airports in the southeast are 100% Yorubas. Yet, the same people don't often find the need for such press releases for airports in the north, even when it is clear some northern airports are probably only patronized by the state government officials and in many cases using the federal government resources for their construction.
What is it about southeast airports that gives Yorubas sleepless nights?? Even when the airports are not funded by the federal government as in the north, but by the cash strapped state governments or even the ordinary citizens.
Most Nigerians are motivated by tribalism, hate and a morbid fear that if another region develops, then it means their region will suffer.
These are some of the reasons that Nigeria must restructure to allow every region develop itself without people from one region using the instrumentality of the federal government to frustrate development in another region while promoting development only in their own region.
They came to spy and see how many of their people live in Igboland that they marginalize and hate so much.
Their main mission is to see if there will be a sizeable retaliation if they attack Igbos in the north as they have been planning. I hope they have seen with their own eyes that the population of Hausa/Fulani has more than quadrupled in Igboland in the last 8 years and millions of northerners and their families now reside peacefully in Igboland.
Evil men like Ango Abdullahi should not endanger their lives needlessly!
God1stson: And u did not dim it fit to mention where some northern trailer drivers kill people with their mindless driving or incidents where upon just small argument an aboki don use knife chuck person not in the north but in the east. Honestly, as a christian I don't support citizens taking law into their hands or killing people but some Northerners in the east exhibit some excesses which many igbo's can't even try up north. Well, u must have known by now that Igbos are not cowards and can die for what the believe in, facts about Biafra war would have tot u that. South east is not a conquered territory get it into you brain. Our Psych tells us we are free people no matter the indices on groung. U can only defeat a man when u defeat him mentally and last time i checked we are still waxing stronger riding in the wings of the Almighty that had made us achieve greater things even after the civil war. Meanwhile if u are reading my post GIVE UR LIFE TO CHRIST SO THAT EVEN IF UR EARTHLY BODY IS DESTROYED U WILL HAVE A HOME IN HEAVEN.
Those highly hate-filled and divisive northern elders should go home instead of provoking a riot.
Kwanza: https://twitter.com/tvcnewsng/status/1336628681377243136?s=19
These Fulani elders are A bunch of highly divisive f00ls! Instead of promoting peaceful co-existence and condemning the unbalanced federation in appointments and infrastructure distribution, they think it is by issuing useless threats that they will bring peace. Yeye dey smell.
BTW, What is Ango Abdullahi doing in Enugu when he bitterly hates Igbos so much? Bloody vampires.
XANDERO85: Could whoever is responsible for sanitation in Onitsha metropolis look into this issue. They're approaching the issue of sweeping inner streets in a half-hearted manner...to put it mildly. This is why open gutters within the city should be covered, or sunk underground with sidewalks on top! Also, there should be a quick intervention mechanism on newly spotted potholes before they develop into craters like what we're seeing in the clip! On this particular street, there's zero effort at aesthetics and maintaining a neat and clean environment.
Oga, No need to panic and start calling Governor as if he didn't know the system already. This method did not start today. It is the irony of always "cleaning" gutters and leaving the trash on the edge of the gutters, then street sweepers and rain dutifully return all the trash back into the gutter. Then the cycle of "cleaning" gutters repeats itself over and over again.
You ask yourself WHY the practice of "cleaning" gutters and leaving the trash on the edge of the gutters instead of evacuating them immediately with a truck has not been imbibed in Nigeria? That is why i rarely applaud anyone cleaning gutters and leaving the trash beside the gutter because i know in a day or two, the entire trash will be sent back into the gutter by man or rain. Thus Work done = ZERO.
Racoon: The Nigerian Army has said that the Boko Haram attacks are an international conspiracy to “cut Nigeria to size” and to destabilise the peace of the country.
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col Sagir Musa, stated this, claiming that there are some international paymasters sponsoring Boko Haram.Musa stated this in an article he shared on social media and with journalists.
The army spokesman said, “The recent killing of our people on a rice farm in Borno State was unexpected, inhuman, cowardly, dastardly and sadistic cruelty by the Boko Haram terrorists. There is no normal human being that will take pleasure in such inhuman massacre of defenceless and armless civilians, working on their farms; but that is the nature of terrorism and those who sponsor it.
“There is an international conspiracy to cut Nigeria to size and compromise national renegades making attempts to destabilise and dismember Nigeria if possible in subservience to the international paymasters; who are the owners of Boko Haram. They train them, arm them, finance them and supply their logistics.
“Without this treacherous international support of Boko Haram; they would have since been defeated. Yet, we can defeat them through our unity and unflinching support and encouragement of our security forces, particularly the military.”
Just as killing of unarmed youths and protesters like chickens by the Nigerian army is an international conspiracy to discredit Nigeria abi?
This blame game by this government is too funny. The same things they set up and funded for the sake of grabbing power must be blamed on some faceless international community. Yet you have not arrested even a single Boko Haram financer, but you are quick to freeze the accounts of #EndSars protesters? SMH!
OptimistSky: The CBN made the clarification in a circular titled: “Re: Amendment to Procedures for Receipt of Diaspora Remittances,” dated December 2, 2020, which was signed by its Director, Trade and Exchange Department, Dr. Ozoemena Nnaji.
It explained: “Further to the Circular Ref. No. TED/FEM/FPC/GEN/01/011 of November 30, 2020, on the above subject, we wish to reiterate and clarify to all International Money Transfer Operators (IMTO) the following: IMTOs must ensure that all funds in favour of beneficiaries/recipients in Nigeria be deposited into the agent banks‘ correspondent account.
With the drop in oil prices, Diaspora remittances is the biggest foreign currency earner for Nigeria right now.
The CBN should not make it harder for Nigerian diaspora to send money to help the country overcome its dire foreign currency shortages. Nigeria should learn from countries such as Kenya, South Africa, etc that make it so easy to send money home by their diaspora citizens than making it harder so that they will continue to corruptly shortchange the Nigerians abroad enslaving themselves with multiple jobs to send money home.
Simply brag about yours without denigrating others. Is that an impossible thing to do? You must not put others down to feel good about your own stuff. When you're big, everyone knows you are even if you don't try to make others look small.
Na wa o. Some of una get serious inferiority complex issues.
hammerDK: ANOTHER GROUP OF IGBO GIRLS OR CHILDREN IN OGUN STATE, SEXPLIOTED.
I HATE TO THINK WAT WOULD BE GOING ON IN THE NORTH AND OF COURSE GHANA AND LIBYA. .
I HAVE SPOKEN, LIKE I USUALLY DO.
I HOPE IGBO DONT TAKE OVER THE ITALIAN SEX TRADE FROM BINI AT THIS RATE.
THESE GIRL ARE BEING GROOMED FOR A LIFE OF PROSTITUTION.

....And how did you verify from their picture that they are Igbos? Because some unverified random website wrote Igbo sounding names without any video for them to confirm their names?
Hatred is a disease Tueh! Why don't you leave Igbos and their tread alone? You can obviously see that Igbos are not perturbed by your hateful rants and deceit.
