Thanks for admitting, Sorry if i got hard on you. There was a total of 1,928 polling units. Fake news must not be propagated in this age and time when in most cases they can be verified via a google search on reputable sites.

You have a point by rhetorically asking if the other candidate isn't credible but we all know what that side look like. The other two senators, of what use have they been to the plight of lagosians?
Of what use is an average Nigerian politician?

There will be no magic bullet to Nigerias progess, it will be gradual at best, its leaders are a reflection of its followers, and we will in most cases have to choose a one eye man inlieu of a totally blind man to lead the blind.

This shows Cross Riverians put their money where their mouth is, a.k.a coming out to vote, unlike Lagosians that complain every second and still don't vote their preferred candidate out of the 13 on the ballot box.
All votes in yesterday's Lagos East election is about 24,000, yet the PDP candidate that ran for the same post last year scored 90,000+ as second runner up.
Kaoli Olusanya lamented at Ìkòròdú town hall to his APC members that Ìkòròdú district scored just 45,000 votes in the last governorship election for APC; now the entire Lagos East across all parties scored 24,000
Lagosians are not worth fighting for.
misinformation should not be encouraged, fake news is really bad . The total votes in Lagos east election was not 24,000 or in the neighbourhood of 24,000.

That is a complete lie. There is a credible candidate. BOG is credible. BOG will try way better than that Abiru person cos I know BOG won't want to squander the chance to reclaim Lagos from the stagnation we have had for 21yrs. Giving us piecemeal at snail's pace while enlarging that pockets at cheetah's pace. However, even if BOG i s not a credible person, there are other candidates there to choose from. Its not like that the credible person they looking for is from mars or nor living being. Na still person dem go vote for. However, when you have tried something and you begin to see that, that thing has outlived its usefulness, you change it and you don't do that by expecting miracles yo happen.

If people have lost faith in the systems or the process, not voting or doing anything will change anything cos the only way, only legitimate voice you have to make that change constitutionally is to vote and as many leaders keep disappointing, as many we must keep voting out till one deserves a second run. The solution is not in keeping silent or doing nothing but using the only voice you have to make the deepest impact.

If youths have lost hope and given up, they should just move out of the country cos as long they stay in the country they given up on, life will be unbearable for them continuously except they wake up and take charge.
Is the winner not credible? Or you simply feel he should not be voted for because of hatred for his party? Elections should not be blind support like football fans supporting their clubs.

While it is not cast in stone that the winner will perform better than his main opponent, there is a greater chance that he will be better off because of his antecedents. He is well read and a top bank former executive, while the other could not even boast of a degree certificate.

Family › Re: 5-Year Marriage Experience: Lessons Learnt & Knowledge Acquired by chinchum(m): 9:58pm On Nov 29, 2020
Openbusiness:
Absolutely wrong! Marriage is essentially = family = home making. When it comes to a home / marriage working, a woman's role is more suited to keeping a marriage together. Women are more emotional than men, therefore a woman's emotions should be more invested in a marriage than a man's emotions, otherwise there will be crisis eventually.

For example, look at marriages in the past and marriages today. For our parents or ancestors marriages, it was common to find marriages like 50, 60 years old marriages, but marriages today hardly last. The older generations their marriages worked not because they were perfect or the husband didn't have flaws or was always wealthy etc. It worked because women of the past generations were more emotionally invested in their marriages than the men, and this kept the marriage goes even when they had storms in their relationships.

If the man failed to provide, their wives didn't just walk away, or find another richer boyfriend outside. No, they stayed and endured the poverty with their husbands. Some of them their husbands would beat them, but they didn't divorce, they went through that phase, even if it was a lot of pain, they stuck through it all to work out their marriage at all costs. Why? Because they were more emotionally invested in the marriage. They loved their husbands more.

But women who are not more emotional invested, usually at the first sight of any ish, they jump ship. They are already always packed and ready in their minds, just waiting for any opportunity to jump ship and not put in the work to keep their marriage together. Everything must be rosy or they jump ship. But a woman who is more emotionally invested, she is like a Captain, she will rather sink with her ship. She will stay and put in the work to make her marriage work.
i agree! Submission is also easier from a Woman when she loves more.
Women are emotionally complex and their reaction in relationship is not just how they are treated, reason why a lady can describe his love interest or partner as a nice guy, and go ahead and say she does not love him because she is too nice. She can end up cheating with a riff raff who clearly does not like her.

Maturity is somewhat related with age, though not a perfect direct proportionality, it is close . Age is also directly related to experience.

We are all shaped by our experience, and we then react to this experience in varying ways sometimes with the instrument of pretense.

2. What dies it matter where we import from? Why the noise when we are to import from Niger? What is the difference from importing through seaports and importing from Niger?
I need someone to explain this as I don't understand it at all
Good questions that should force critical reasoning.

If we are already importing refined oil from outside Nigeria, then what could be the hullabaloo about importing from Niger?

I think the complain should be why we are importing refined oil , it is not the stupid pride or hate filled statements i see flying around.

Niger refines 20,000 barrels of oil and only needs 5,000 barrels. Nigeria needs about 400,000 barrels per day.

If this is not fiction, your friend is placing premium on minor things, in a life partner choice, if you keep focusing on ephemerals you will make wrong choices. Yahoo boys , ritualists and ruffians take advantage of so called "good girls" because they don't look out for the necessary things in men. A yahoo buy would have dashed tens of thousands for "cab" and your friend would have labelled him God fearing. It is quite laughable and i bet you are still young, possibly a teenager or early 20s.

i am sure if i ask you what fraud is in the electronic system, you won't have any thing to say other than repeating what you heard. the complain is not even electronic voting, it is about mail in ballot. If you ask or read what exactly the complaint about mail in ballot you will have activated more critical reasoning. Don't follow the crowd based on your emotions.

Then also ask an older person about June 12 protest of 1993.
Thank you, i don't think generation Z youths should get carried away with the euphoria of the ongoing protest to think they have done something out of the world . The protests in the 70's-90's were against brutal military dictators ,and there were little or no cell phones, social media, diasporan Nigerians in thousands to support the cause.

There must be no clear leaders in the protests, however the protest should metarmorphose to protest against bad governance and clear cut restructuring demands agreed by networks of underground protest co-ordinators.

SARS must go because they are criminals in uniform and mufti. But, you cannot dress or appear anyhow. Tattoos, dyed hair and dreads are symbols of lazy youths.

Donald Trump, Putin, Xi, Queen Elizabeth do not have holes and rings on their nose and ears.

Ngozi Iwealla has not tattooed her face neither has Mitchell Obama.

Fashola is a Lagos boy, do you see tattoos on him?

Dress the was you want to be addressed. Those that design their bodies with tattoos and pierce all parts of their body in the so-called America you are blindly copying spend several years in jail. Abi you see tattoos for Mark Zuch body?

Failure of efcc in combating cybercrime is the reason SARS saw it as an opportunity to enrich themselves by tagging every well dressed Nigerian youth with good phone as a Yahoo boy that deserves to be shot dead.

But then, the problem of SARS is a major problem with every Nigerian; every Nigerian take advantage of every little authority or position given to them to maltreat others.

In Nigerian hospitals Doctors and Nurses treat patients like rats without respect just because they are called Doctors!

Nigerian Lecturers treat students like their slaves just because they are their lecturers!

In banks, Bank Branch Managers and Bankers treat customers like rats, as if they own the moneys in the banks but forgetting that without the customers they will be jobless!

Give a Nigerian a small position of authority and watch him use that position to maltreat and intimidate others.

Its a Nigerian attitude.

The only way to solve this is to #EndNigeria
This summarises the rootcause of the problem. It is a problem with wanting power to oppress others. The rich and the poor are complicits.
