Okay sir! But remember say na Nigeria b this and things are done differently here ! Peace n love
Yes, it is Nigeria, the more reason parents must adjust the wrong mentality. If you raise children you are responsible for them till they become adults at least 18 years. In a country like Nigeria where most 18 years old are yet to gain admission to tertiary institutions, it is fair parents train till they are graduates and gainfully employed. Shikenah. Well trained and successful children will take care of their parents, but there must be no entitlement or "planned dependency" by parents.

Watin come be “ fruit of thy labor “huh
The fruit of the labor is primarily seeing them do well and also raising good family. No child was begged to be born. It is greed and selfish mentality of certain parents that make them birth lots of children they can't adequately take care with the hope one or more will succeed to provide for them.

Very true. Raise few you can train "WELL" and invest in your self. In Nigeria a roof over your head that you own at retirement is number 1 and income possibly from stock dividends is advisable. If you can earn rental income also perfect.

Why?

Imagine this. The government spends billions subsidizing education for you all, free primary school, free secondary school, cheap universities (compared to other countries) in the hope that when you graduate, you will advance the country but you want to travel out (japa) with all the financial commitments the government have done for you and you still expect this same government to make it easy for you to travel out?

Imagine you spend money sending a woman/man to school thinking when done two of you can marry and be happy but alas, the person falls in love with someone else and says you are below his/her standard but still expects you to foot the wedding bill.

Or you as MD spends money training staff and the staff decides to just up and leave yet expects you to pay for transportation to the new firm.

The Nigerian government owes you nothing in this IELTS fight.
Most Nigerian youths fail to realise the boldened.

More over the 2 years expiry is a global practice. As to the price, the value of the Naira has a direct impact.

How can you sack a coach who has one of the best win and draw statistics in recent times. The turnover in the team is a bit high and there is need for some stability which i think we can achieve at AFCON. we won all our 3 away matches during the 2022 WC qualifier, our home matches were the issue, and the pitch is a suspect by the way. Even in the 2018 world cup, we did not do too badly.

our qualification for 2018 WC was perfect enough that we qualified easily even after losing 3 points and 3 goals for using ineligible player in a group that had Cameroon and Zambia.

Super eagles naturally struggle during qualifiers and do better at tournaments. They want to sack him and replace with whom??
This still stands !

The real victory is not just that we won 1-0, it is more that we had a dominant play and could have won with a higher margin if we were more clinical at the final third.

Under achiever that has little history of success as a coach. As a coach, Even under 17 world cup whe didn't go pass the group stage. As suer eagles coach, he couldn't qualify us for nations cup.

I have said the fallacy of those asking for the sack of Rohr is not able to think deep and realise we don't have the quality replacement.

We know the pattern, at best a quarter final performance at the nations cup and then he is replaced with a foreign coach with another gra gra.

We won't make it past the world cup playoffs except if mother luck shines on us.

Leave all the motivational talk of living beyond your means obviously you can’t be buying/living a high price life if you want to be fine financially even if you like always get stuff from primark, tesco, one pound shop etc. Simple calculation 10-30% tax, how long will it take one to pay off their mortgage? You see, FACTS be told, a good accountant or lawyer will save anyone. Whether in US/UK not to talk about Nigeria. DEFRAUD the system? Never but they know the loopholes NOT defraud. My point is the system is more fragile in Nigeria or third world countries doesn’t mean one is defrauding the system please. Chale financial freedom is for the 1%, in Nigeria, UK/US etc. Sad to say but that’s the truth. Abeg what’s your definition of reasonably paid and how many migrants from Nigeria specifically have that opportunity.
It is not motivational talk, it is Practical living. The percentage an average household spend on Groceries tells what the focus should be on. I bet for most people it is housing/mortgage payment.

It is way easier to achieve financial freedom in an environment like US/UK. If you are married or common law , it is good to work together as a couple if possible.

If you live within your means, no mortgage payments should go beyond 15 years, in actual fact the optimised period of full payment is 5-7 years with the aid of debt snowball / velocity banking and annual prepayment privilege.

There is no need to buy a new car until you can "comfortably pay for one , 70% of millionaires in US don't buy new cars. There is no need to lease a car if you don't have money to pay fully.

A household income of $80k for a couple or $50k for a single with frugal and sensible spending can turn things around, the focus should be on increasing the income. change the state or city or province if possible to reduce tax payment, home affordability e.t.c

Invest no matter how little, compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world.

Seek improvement and get a side gig no matter how little. More tax credits are also available for those with self employment income, rental income, e.tc. The loopholes you write about can easily be taken in an environment like US/UK.

Hmmm strong arguement but the TAX will finish a person in the US/UK. Secondly how many average folks in the US/UK can afford to risk 50k. Truck drivers, teachers etc bro can’t afford to risk 50k mayne. I’ve lived in the UK, things are not rosy mayne yea comfortable lifestyle but RICH legally? Na mate, that will take a long time, you gotta climb up the ladder. But in Nigeria yea it’s sad but loopholes will cut down the time wait etc and truth be told the Nigerian system is fragile aka still in its baby state hence these loopholes exist to make a load of cash and declare whatever you want to declare to FIRS
how does 10-30% tax finish you if you are reasonably paid. Don't live beyond your means, and you should be fine. Many Nigerians in diaspora find it difficult to understand this common sense. How many people in Nigeria can take advantage of the loopholes ? i doubt if it is more than 1%. It is a shame if the reason to stay in Nigeria is because we can defraud the system. In Nigeria, like leaders like followers.

Nice posit OP.

Nigeria is a recipe for stagnation of her youths. i witnessed it, until i "japa" 4 years ago. I was so sure after graduation i did not need to travel out of the country, i still have some tiny regret i didn't leave 5-7 years earlier.

I seriously want that country to grow, but i must confess the best i foresee in the future is a very slow and painful growth, and i am looking at about 25 years -50 years from now for it to be a main benefit to an average Nigerian.

In such a poverty infested home, her focus should have been on creating income all this while, not trying to live to standard of other girls. She has not learnt anything from the poverty and very likely not a good fit for you.

When she is done with the catering school, she is going to be back asking for millions to set up. When you provide that, then her poor sense in managing what you are giving her will shine through.

Let her go.

Rohr didn’t miss the 2017 AFCON, please be sure of what you say. Rohr was appointed when were already out of qualifying for AFCON 2017. Oliseh was the coach then. Thanks. Rohr has qualified Nigeria for all the qualifiers he partook in (only Qatar pending).
Thanks for providing facts. Nigerians are easily forgetful. We failed to qualify for 2 successive nations cup under the watch of the same set of coaches some are asking to replace Rohr. We always overrate ourselves while not willing to put in the work.

I have heard lot of claims about how we have world class players should be winning easily if we had a good coach, i just laugh.

Nigeria with the Kanu and Okochas did not qualify for 2006 world cup, Away games, we lost to Angola, drew with Erithrea , struggled against Liberia e.t.c

Rohr won ALL of his 3 away games which is quite unusual if anyone follows Nigeria football.

You go tey for river with that approach in a marriage. Steady orgasm, cloud 9, cloud 100, all na bobo. As time goes on all that sh*t flies out the window, mix in kids, financial instability etc and you'll be lucky to get one good sex every 2 weeks or a month. White people don scatter our heads with so much fairytale that we start sounding robotic at times, your approach assumes libido/sexual appetite is the same for everyone, some people need medication just to have this urge, some are just wired that way bilogically, if you like do 100 shades of grey, he or she go still fall your hand grin grin
It is almost impossible to achieve steady orgasm, at least once in 3 times is an asset for a lady. Offcourse financial instability and kids will reduce the tempo, that can be rekindled with a bit of romance. No woman is the same, but the man must figure out what tickles her. The couple should work on their finances if there is financial insecurity in the home.

Good day everyone.
I don't want to cheat on my wife but she cannot cope with my demands for sex. She even told me to control myself and be more spiritual and I am wondering. If I am not controlling myself, I would have cheated on her long ago. I am a fine looking man with many opportunities to cheat. We only have sex when she's ready and wants it, anything outside that is excuse upon excuse. How can a woman I married be telling me to control myself?
she is not enjoying most of the sexual encounters , in short there is no orgasm for her i suspect.

You have to prioritise her enjoyment during the sex at the moment, you dont have to be rough during sex. Go slow and gently. Let her show you her pleasure points or help her discover them if she is a lady with little experience. Aim at giving her orgasm, it tampers with her psychology and need for sex. You will be surprised with her sex cravings and frequent request to have one.

I'm sorry, but this just makes you look like a paid defender for Abike. It is irrelevant whether she used a different name or not. Using a different name has zero link to a human trafficking charge or conviction. I challenge you to explain that link.

A lawyer should have been on hand to review the case. Strongly worded appeals should have been filed with the ivorian government. For such a meaningless case, the govt would have been perfectly fine revisiting the case.

See your mouth like 'except high level intervention'. Isn't that what Abike is there for? Should the ambassador not have been taking up the case?

Shame
stop foaming in the mouth. My point is clear, why make it seem as if it is Abike that did not save her, is it because she even made herself prominent and involved enough. The lady has not done badly, i bet the embassy in ivory coast took no action until she got involved based on the link i posted up there. I am not new to the common "lazy youths" mob mentality.

If you are not mentally lazy to read, you will notice in the link i posted a retrial was on course.

Onyeama as Minister of foreign affair that had a stronger say did not kill the lady, but Abike is the one that killed the lady ? right?

The lady was convicted albeit wrongly, and Abike should seize her from Cote d'ivoire prison is your weak logic....... right?

I have studied consistently many of the government appointees in the past and that lady i must confess has been exceptional and to a great extent always rising to the occasion. Mobs don't reason though, all they do is lynch.

The guy wrote about the kind of technical jobs that can enhance the chances of Op hits the ground running. He wrote about the need to migrate legally.

The guy also wrote about attitudes and behaviours that won't get him far if Op moves to Germany.

The guy wrote about need for financial discipline when he gets to travel out that will be quite useful by the Op.

I doubt the op financial intelligence quotient is high judging by the concern that the colleagues prefers using whatsapp instead of callling with regular phone.
