aribisala0:You are not quoting any constitution, so hush ! |
aribisala0:This is NOT correct. It is simple majority(candidate with most number of votes), however to be declared as winner, you must also have at least 25% of votes in 24 states. If a candidate has simple majority but does not have at least 25% of votes in a minimum of 24 states which is a rarity by the way, a runoff will be conducted with the candidate with second most number of votes only. Candidate with the second most number of votes can never be declared winner ahead of the candidate with the most number of votes on no circumstance. |
Nice response, but can you please highlight how to mentally and emotionally train my mind in that regard.... I don't picture this man and I sleeping with ourselves..I just grew fond of him simply because of the way he recognises me in the presence of people, somebody adviced me that I talk to him to stay away from him prolly that will help my feelings a bit, but I have to be careful because this man may not feel same way about me and he might start having a negative view about me... But I'm trying to take my mind off him though...God help me.
Your overconfidence that you can't fall is the biggest problem. you have to acknowledge you are fallible to treat the feeling as a terrible one. It is that disgust that you should feel about the possibility of the pastor having you if he truly wants you as you have little to no resistance that you translate to a strong force to kill the deadly passion. I repeat; you overrate yourself and think you are infallible, that is your albatross. |
Yakubu Dogara is a christian from Bauchi and may likely be Tinubu$ vice presidential candidate if he wins ApCs primaries. |
Leo588:I have probably been watching football before you were born. Oshimen is currently the most clinical SE striker we have at this moment. I am not sure if you know what clinical means. |
JOemmy:It is lack of emotional intelligence in the path of Ikpeba, they are both Nigerians and worn the super eagles jersey. I can bet that Osimhen would not have reacted if the criticism was not from an ex super eagles player. It is painful because there is no merit in the criticism. |
JOemmy:It is not a question of achievement, it is utterly disrepectful for Ikpeba to criticise the young man who took a sacrifice with those bicycle kicks. He could have sustained an injury. I will understand Ikpebas criticism if Oshimen had a clear cut chance and decided to play bicycle kicks. |
Was is positioning suitable for a clear cut chance? Why criticise the most passionate player on the pitch? Ikpeba did not show that he is emotionally intelligent. One can easily tell Osimhen wanted to score and get the needed goal even if it was with his nose. Bicycle kicks even carries certain risk of injury when attempted. Osimhen was not the player to be criticised and it is not unexpected that Oshimen who is still sulking not going to the world cup after giving a passionate performance is trading words with Ikpeba. It hurts to throw words carelessly just because you are a pundit, more painful coming from an ex player. |
jagorinho:keep reminding sentimental foools. They are overating the quality of players available. The grass is always greener at the other side for them. They were experimenting with too many players and cant fathom why we will struggle to play great as a team. |
Support your candidate at least for now. When the two frontrunners are out, we can compare and contrast then. It seems unfair to keep attacking a candidate when you have not declared yours. |
A smart coach with 5 substitutes in a match at 1-1 after first half would make faster changes , at least 2 entrants at the beginning of 2nd half, and 2 new legs at 60mins or thereabout. We needed to win and playing Ghana. It is a game of all or nothing at that point. If it was 0-0 then caution may apply. I knew it would be a miracle to overturn the deficit at 0-1 if we didnt score the required 2 goals in the first half. It was like Oshimen was the supposed captain and clearly understood that sense of urgency, that most of the players did not have. I for one did not understand the celebration of the equaliser, it was too loud to show ekong did not understand what was at stake. They were technically a goal down at that time and were celebrating like they scored the winning goal. The game was still quite open in the first half and i was certain it would be more difficult in the 2nd half. Ghana made the defensive change at the beginning of 2nd half. |
Blakpot:Celestine Babayaro brother was a goalkeeper, in fact he was the under 17 world cup goal keeper at Japan 1993 won by Nigeria. |
Nigerians are quite emotional people and find it difficult to exercise critical reasoning I said it multiple times here that we had no bussiness sacking Rohr because we were not ready for a viable replacement. A coach won all 3 away games in a world cup qualifier and fiam we were calling for his head because of some grinded results and loss. He would have taken us to the semifinal at least in the nations cup and secure a world cup spot. I am sure of that. We overrate ourselves and expect magic bullet from no where. It is the same approach with our politics. Anyone expecting any eldorado from a président in 2023 is deceiving him/her self. |
I am positive Rohr would have grinded out world cup qualification. He was more adept and read games way better. To be fair to him he usually had a limit of 3 substitutes then comparéd to 5 now. A coach that won all 3 away goals in a world cup qualifier was sacked because of stupiid reasons and to add salt to injury replaced with failure. A coach that was not paid when due by Nff was sacked for a non achiever as a coach. A move hailed by most Nigerians who are purely emotional with no sense of critical or logical reasoning. A 0-0 draw in Ghana was more or less a loss to us..... Any sensible coach should know that. I knew there was problem when we achieved a goal less draw. In actual fact, i would have preferred we lose by a goal margin away, that way we had a chance of winning todays match. |

But uzoho was in goal when Nigeria lost to CAR in lagos. Wrong? |
Coldie:It sounds funny to you because you weren't familiar with the accent. It is the same way yours may sound funny to them. Although via our movies which is exported to many african countries, our english accent tends to get more familiar and less funny to an outsider. |
I am positive a win or high scoring draw today will guarantee us a place in the world cup. Lets hope for the best from the SE. |
cococandy:your responses still attempts to gaslight him. If i slap your sister because i dont like her face, you have no reason to feel bitter afterall it is not you i slapped. The op mentioned how he supported his brothers career with no acknowledgement by the mom. Her moms irresponsibility of bringing different men is simply called safety issue when it is actually being irresponsible and not showing respect. Respect is reciprocal. If she needs to move on she can remarry, the home which maybe the family home is not a brothel. Op's mum not only has sons but at least a daughter from op's account. Cursing your son for not having your way is also an irresponsible act. It is a classic act of irresponsibility which obviously angered the op and led to him making the earlier post. If you get cursed by your parent, you have no right to get angry judging by your opinion The Op summarised a picture of an irresponsible mom and his feelings should be respected except we have a contrary position. |
cococandy:You did not read his messages but you are quick to give opinion? (A)The mom choosing to invest in clothes instead of paying the required school fees for Op sister. ( B)The mom bringing different men she is not married to sleep with her in the family house. ( C) The mom cursing him because she feels entitled to receiving money from Op. A mom who can curse her son because of not receiving money from the son to treat "ill" health is irresponsible in my opinion. |
cococandy:stop gaslighting him. Your question is ridiculous. I bet you will not feel offended if i slap your brother or sister afterall i did not do anything to you. |
The Op's pain appears valid, he is hurt !. he was sexually abused by a woman, his mother did not show enough respect by bringing men to their home, while not married to those men; His mother prioritised fashion over the daughters education. To add salt to injury, she cursed the young man for not supporting her with money. She is feeling entitled to the son's money. It is high time African parents realised no child begged to be born and behave responsibly. We are all products of our experiences. It is important to acknowledge that Op spoke in the place of emotional pain, and disappointment and still succumbed to providing assistance to the mother. |
I still wonder till today what exactly Oshiomole did to Obaseki to make him denigrate so much and sold him out. The actions he took made him lose the APC chairmanship seat unceremoniously. |
. |
Kurukuru:There are cpap machine for less that price on Amazon, and they are automatic CPAP. the only concern is access to power if in Nigeria, op may need a UPS or inverter. |
CPAP machine and losing weight. |
hornny bastaaards, if they had the chance they could have rapeed her. Even if she was 17, they had no right to arrest her. What is their responsibility with requesting for prescription for pills? |
I have not seen a worthy candidate from the SE in APC or PDP. The closest is the ebonyi state governor, but the state HDI and poverty index are still quite low as he met it, however he has invested in some large scale infrastructure for a poor state like Ebonyi which is remarkable. Could his performance be largely driven by his presidential ambition? That is one question i don't have an answer to. A Peter Obi is the same of the same and will not take any hard stance to turn the wheels of the nation for good. The SS have an Amaechi , who i believe is a resolute individual and a worthy presidential material The SW have a Tinubu who is quite intelligent and well reputed for recruiting performers to get the job done, he is the strongest politically in the South, but he does not appear to be aging gracefully. The dice is cast, and APC looks more set to present a Southern presidential candidate than the PDP. The next 12 months will be interesting politically and i await the moments with baited breath. |
I really laugh at some people political naivety. 2023 will be a choice of bad, worse and worst. The critics are most times the worst. |
This is someone who claims to be exposed. SMH. |
This is worse than smoking a packet of cigarettes. If nigerians understand cause and effect relationship then the state of emergency should have been declared by now. In fact it is so bad that the state should be shut down till a lasting solution is found. How can someone claim to be a governor of a state and pay lip service to fixing this catastrophe is just beyond my imagination. How can you be this wicked to the people you are governing? |
Iamolukorede:The current government is not open to any major restructuring, it is as glaring as possible, there is no point expecting otherwise. the people benefiting from the current structure do not want a change. The last time a national confab was done in 2014, the outcome was planned to be debated by the same criminals and rogues , political opportunists in the national assesmbly. That is a joke that surely will not produce any tangible result. As far as i am concerned, Nigeria has never had a great leader since independence. Most Revolutions do not guarantee positive outcomes, in fact it tends to provide a change for bad. A benevolent and intelligent dictator needed? Maybe ! What is the possibility of having one as Nigeria's leader ? zilch! No magic bullet in sight, a great leader may produce the restructuring you want, but (s)he must be deft and lots of political maneuvering with a support of the people on the street via referendum. |
Iamolukorede:There is no magic bullet ! Are you suggesting Nigeria should not elect a president in 2023? What is your point? If your point is to let Nigerians know there won't be a monumental change of Nigeria to eldorado with any of the candidates ; i agree with you. Nigerias change with a great leader will be slow but assuring. Buhari is not great and can not provide what he does not have, he was not an ideal leader, he was only a means to an end to rescue power from the utterly corrupt PDP. |
