Can you give a detailed real life example of what you want... for restarting service most Linux distro comes with systemd
Yes I am aware of the systemd thing. But that will require me to do it one after the other. it's time consuming.

Eg There are about 400servers all Linux and there is a particular service that is similar in all of them(similar application was installed in all of them, painfully one after the other at the time). I want a way to restart all of the app services in all those servers by pushing a script or something.

On windows, it's easy to acheive with the net start command and AD integration inside of a tool.

But on Linux, if I can restart a particular service across 400 servers by pushing a script is what I am asking.
Get it now?

No be your woman again,

Have you forgotten when she told you about something she wish she had in your discussion, or a place she wish she had been or that Lil thing she has been complaining of.

If you can't remember any, she is your girl, you know her better than most people. Cakes don't work for some girls, I know a girl who don't like box of chocolates.

Some are not the shoe type (heels and all), some are not the jewellery type, it would just be lying on her shelf month in Month out

It's your girl, there is no one size fits all! Now is the time to show you have been a GOOD LISTENER!

If you know your girl well, you will know what will be pleasureable to her #drops pen

FamilyRe: Borrowing or Lending money from or to in-laws, I need help? by chukzyfcbb: 1:21pm On Feb 09, 2020
Mindlog:
There is nothing like sharing it like rats, it is being realistic and not sentimental. With all the siblings all married except one and each in a different part of the world with their spouses and kids, why should there be the need for joint account with siblings when you are already married? Each used their share to invest in properties/portfolios in their own personal and nuclear family's name.
If you think what I said up is not being practiced, I leave you to your opinion.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me.

Those who will find wisdom in what I said will take a cue from it.
FamilyRe: Borrowing or Lending money from or to in-laws, I need help? by chukzyfcbb: 3:38pm On Feb 08, 2020
Mindlog:
I agree with you on that. Our firstborn son suggested that he solely manages our late parents' properties and would be remitting quarterly to us his siblings but we refused because we have clear idea of firstborn sons and their sense of entitlement when it comes to properties, we had the properties sold and shared the money amongst us, each choosing how to spend/invest their share and that got my big bro angry, saying we have no clean hearts towards him and his wife but in the real sense it is for the good of everyone, to avoid unnecessary claims in the future.
It doesn't always apply to all families.

it's in these scenario that we know how strong our relationship amongst our siblings are.

I am not a fan of selling and sharing all the money from late parents properties, it always lead to waste!

Typically, there should have been a joint acct amongst two or three siblings where they put their late parents money into, that way there is transparency.

Any project, medical expenses and what not to be carried out will be done with the knowledge of the others (joint acct)

Usually when properties are sold and shared like this, give it 5yrs max, you will start hearing Stories of how the money was squandered from dablling into a bizness that crashed and what not.

Now is the time that they all put heads together and see how to grow thier late dad's wealth, but it's all dependent on their relationship.

There is strength in unity, this is how families build an empire! not selling properties and sharing it like rats!!!

Neddyogu:
Some big men do not drop ooo. Being rich is different from being generous oo. Nobody announces cash donations at weddings o abi u don see where dem announce Moni for wedding reception?
.
If the parents are wealthy, thier wedding gifts will be bountiful, one or two stingy rich men changes nothing.

About announcing cash gift, well in Igbo land there is something called "IDU-UNO". it's something they do for their daughters, done after wedding ceremony, at that occasion they mention cash gifts brought by all parents and we'll wishers.(optional tho)

On wedding occasion I have been to, I have heard ofcar gifts, shares allocated to him, landed properties awarded as gift...so it depends on which you have been.

Its not difficult to hit 1million mark in weddings, 10k from 50people is 500k Alone and that's me being modest coz just one society you, your parents or inlaws belong to can gift you that.....anyways I speak from own experience sha

choose ya own smiley

The funny thing be say at the end of the day if he decides to do a full wedding, the girls Parents can gift him anything above 1m as wedding cash gift and he will recover his expenses.

Cash gifts from all the wedding guests on that day can run into millions (wedding guest will be buoyant coz of the inlaws involved)

Some families will rather get them a car gift as against cash, some parents will include his name in the shares of their coy, I have seen this happen a lot.

it all depends on how buoyant the family is at the time.

All of these I have seen with my eyes, not nollywood

If she can make the life decision of spending her life with you, why do you doubt her other decision making.

CareerRe: Entrepreneurs Are Ruining Morales Of Employees by chukzyfcbb: 7:41am On Jan 21, 2020
ultron12345:
Rubbish

Firstly, I do not support owing employees salaries. Salaries should always be paid when due as specified in the employment contract. If for some reason, you can't afford the salaries at that particular time, inform the employees of the situation, explain to them and an understanding should be reached.

I will however talk about the so-called 'Peanut Salary'. What exactly is peanut salary?. Were you not informed of the salary before taking the job?. If the salary is too small for you, then the solution is simple, don't take the job. If you've already taken it, then resign, abi did they tie your hands and legs.

Salary is determined by productivity and market-value. You cannot be producing N4000 and be expecting to be paid N10,000.

Demand and supply of labour must also be put into consideration. When demand of labour is higher then the supply, wages are high, but when demand of labour is less than supply, wages are low.

You don't expect an employer to pay N1,000,000 when others are willing to take less. Will you buy a bag of rice at N200,000 when the near-by store is selling the same bag of rice and the same quality at N50,000. Never. So why do you expect employers to do otherwise. The same way an employee will not stay with an employer paying him N100,000 when another employer is willing to pay him N900,000.

Some companies honestly can't pay better. How can you expect a school in one small, interior town, that collects school fees of N6000 per term to be paying salary of N50,000 per month to teachers.

If you're not happy with salary you're offered, then don't accept the job or resign. If you're worth more than that salary, you will surely see other employees willing to pay your more than what you were paid before. If I offer salary of N40,000 per month, and no-one takes the job, I will be forced to increase the salary in order to fill the vacancy. You can also choose to start your own business and begin paying water-melon salaries instead and we'll see how long you'll stay afloat.

Let's also not forget how lazy and wicked Nigerian employees are. They are ready to ruin your business with fraud at the slightest opportunity. All they do is to steal your money. That is why Nigerian employees coined the phrase "Na where person dey work, na there e dey chop, na e make them dey callam work-chop (workshop)" as a way to justify their fraudulent character. Money that is supposed to be used to sustain and expand the business and even provide better packages for the staff will then have to be used to employ extra-staff to monitor each other, biometric scanners, CCTV cameras and other things that are not supposed to be needed, just to monitor staff to avoid fraud.

Start a poultry and they will be stealing your eggs. Some will even go ahead to be killing the chickens so that they'll be allowed to take them home.

Start an entertainment/viewing/game center and they'll be pocketing your money. On the days you're around at the business, the money realized will be x10 of the money realized when you're not around. Because they're eating your money.

Lease out a vehicle to a driver to use and watch as he'll finish you.

Start a restaurant, the same thing will happen. More than half of the total food ingredients will end up in their personal kitchens.

Even ordinary provisions shop, they will find a way to steal.

The major problem of doing business in this country isn't power or infrastructure, it's finding honest and competent manpower. The average Nigerian employee is waiting to steal from you. The ones in management positions will not only be stealing but will be hiring incompetent staff solely because they are his friends, relatives or church members. That's why I don't blame companies who hire expatriates like Indians and Lebanese for sensitive positions like Finance and Accounting even when we have qualified Nigerians.

Some people have money to do business in this country but they don't have time for it. They'll have employed staff to manage it, but they can't do that because there are no trustworthy staff in Nigeria, so they abandon the idea, and rather invest their money in treasury bills and fixed deposit accounts. And later, they'll be complaining they there are no jobs when they are killing all the businesses with their evil character.

Let's not forget their rude attitude that they'll use to drive all your customers away, just like they exhibit in government offices.

That's why they like government work, where they're allowed to be lazy and to steal. Where they can get money without adding any value. Where they can steal, where they can come to work by 10pm, gist till 12pm, sleep till 3pm and spend the next hour preparing to leave by 4pm. And they'll go home and tell people they went to work. That is why our government agencies are not working, that is why our government corporations like NNPC and others are not working. That is why we say Nigerian government cannot run business. Any private company that allows such will fail like Nigerian government agencies and corporations have failed.

If you think your salary is Peanut Salary, then quit and sart your own business and be paying water-melon salaries. By the time you crumble, you'll start blaming Buhari.

Peanut salary ke, paw-paw salary ni.
Resign and start your own.
If I tell you that I cannot relate to all of this eh, I am a liar.

you spoke from experience, as I was reading I was just relating to them one by one.
You my friend is a wise fellow

I've always disliked elaborate weddings.

God willing, I'd like to wed before less than 20 people. Close friends and family.
Less money, less stress, less noise.
It's not in your call alone, marriage involves parents.

You don't know your mother inlaw, she could be a complete extrovert with so many friends who will make sure her friends grace her son's wedding.

Your own mom too will bring her own drama and invite people you dunno, your cousins, your friends, neighbours etc

before you know what's happening , the wedding of 20people has turned to 200. It's not as easy as we make it seem. Even Banky W testified to this.

From personal experience of that of my sis, If not for the concept of using Strictly by IV Invitation, the wedding we planned for 500 guest would have hit 1000....

Introverts, I'll like to ask you all, How do you make money, especially for some of you who do business.
it's very hard for an Introvert to be a good sales person "naturally"

It's a constant battle between thier persona, they have to keep fighting it every now and then, because selling as a business person will involve you being in the lives or interest of your clients, attending thier events or taking clients out to win thier hearts on sealing a deal.

But one thing I can say for sure, being a sales person will improve your social interaction to a great extent as an Introvert, that I can confirm personally
