In this Nigeria, you think men are controlling wine ?

I laugh in urgent 5k.

Nobody is controlling women here. We (think we) have a normalized prostitution economy where men expect to provide in exchange for starfish action and 'respect' from other chained (married) men.

If you want to see how Nigerian families are actually faring, go to a school. See which parent pays the fees, who the kids respect, etc.

BLOODYSPERM:
I never said Nigeria was had the best family unit model , but in it's imperfection it's far better than gynocentric westernized and Progressive Societies where Men are emasculated by the legal system who have destroyed the sacred institution of marriage via alimony, biased child custody laws, giving incentives to women to destroy their homes and ruin the lives of their husbands

Our culture ensures men are the dominant gender and unlike western Societies where men are shamed and masculinity is under attack, we do the opposite and shame women keeping them in check and curbing their instinctual Hypergamous nature via Culture and religion as dominant ideologies to control their feral nature to prevent chaos in civilization by the destruction of family units

Western Societies men were sold to the ideological myth of Egalitarianistic-Equalism thinking they would reduce the burden of their masculine burden of performance and share the burden with women who are innately Machiavellians, they were fooled and decieved by Feminists, but instead they became emasculated and reduced to online agitators on manosphere blogs and forums, Patriachal Africa Men are not stupid we will use Culture and religion actively as ideological tools to control women hence controlling society, unlike western men who are reduced to second class citizens, we won't be stupid like them

Haven't we had at least 2 high profile murder trials of first wives who killed their husbands or the potential new wife in the last few years?

BLOODYSPERM:
Higher income warning don't typically date their equals working with generalizations as excemptions and outliers abound which deviates from the rule but doesn't disprove the rule

Look at the wives of high socio-economic status billionaires and even Top CEO executives they are typically not on equal earning with their wives

When I talk about religion, I use Islam as my reference because Christianity is a weakened and Bastardized religion since the decline of Catholicism allowing Progressivism ideologies like LGBTQ and Abortion , Islam is highly Patriachal even allowing polygamy and trains women to be potential wife's who would submit to the authority of their husband, women know their inferior roles and accept them , they don't complain they are oppressed unlike western women living in the most liberal civilization in history yet complaining about the Patriachy
Family › Re: Women’s Submission Is A Curse by cooooooks(m): 12:35pm On May 08, 2021
Not, you are spouting Kevin Samuels logic here.

Kevin Samuels talks about people earning $500,000 a year.

Na you be that?

Even among those high earners, the majority of them are already married...to fellow high earners.

BLOODYSPERM:
A woman can't love you until she shows respect and admiration for you
A woman love via adoration

Men love unconditionally women love conditionally

Men love sacrificially women love opportunistically

Men love idealistically women love pragmatically

These a Hypergamous proven Biological reality due to women menstrual and ovulatory cycle realities

Scientific facts that religious ideologies acknowledges
Family › Re: Women’s Submission Is A Curse by cooooooks(m): 12:34pm On May 08, 2021
Islam too.

Any pious Muslims should look at the havoc Saudi Arabian clerics are wreaking in Indonesia.

They visit the country, do quick sham divorces, impegnate young girls and leave them with the burden of the children.

What's worse, I think Indonesia does not recognize the nationality of the children, neither does Saudi Arabia.

Smh.

cococandy:
grin we are not alone okay? Other religions have their modern issues with their scripture that they can’t explain away. So they’ll dance around the explanations and then tell you that you have to be in spirit to understand
Family › Re: Women’s Submission Is A Curse by cooooooks(m): 12:31pm On May 08, 2021
Religion does not prevent divorce.

Christians globally have a higher divorce rate (marrying early to avoid 'sin' is a big part of this).

These oppressive ideals you espouse don't even benefit the men. They work till they're dead, raise countless children fathered by other men and usually are loved less by their children than their wives.

Listening to Kevin Samuels (twice divorced) and other people in the manosphete does not automatically make you know about the west.

When these African marriages go abroad, they either adapt to equality (and in some instances preferential treatment in marriage disputes) or fail.

How many times has a man oppressed his wife here only to lament when he takes her there and she leaves him, starts making more money than him (nurse), or/and starts asserting her rights?

In this Nigeria you talk about, do you know how much a typical middle class divorce costs? Hundreds of thousands to millions! How many families do you know where the spouses live apart from each other? How many has the wife been sent packing from? How many homes are warzones?

My friend, don't act like we are enjoying our nuclear unit her in Nigeria. Why are Nigerian men GYOW if we love our family ideals so much? Why are we joining the stingy men association? Why are we dying young? (Life expectancy is under 50).

BLOODYSPERM:
These not facts
As a pragmatist that deals with statistics, data and evidence

Western Societies with more equal partnership than traditionally conservative Societies in Africa and Arab societies where Men are expected to be the breadwinners see a strong marital rate decline with divorce at 50% where 75 % of the divorce is initiated by the women , destroying family units and very counter-productive to any civilization

Western Societies normalized divorce by giving women incentives to do it like alimony , biased child support system , even making single motherhood the norm as 40% of children are born out of wedlock without fathers

Your model doesn't work

Best idealistic model
Husband- provisioning
Wife - Housekeeping

More realistic model
Male - provisioning
Women- assisting in provisioning with a societal mechanism to discourage divorce like religion and culture and curb women's innate Hypergamy

This comment was all over the place.

Boss13:
Laughs. So you want him to restrict his options while there are abundant Nigerian women in Nigeria. Why should he seek out Nigerian women abroad where the percentage of Nigerians are in the minority. Also, many of these Nigerian women have abandoned their traditional values and now acclimatize to western cultures and norms.

Yes, the best place to meet young Nigerians are colleges. However, the number of female Nigerians may be in limited supply or unavailable for him. The OP might not be migrating as a student which puts him in a difficult situation to get Nigerian women. Also, when you are out of Nigeria, you are expose to different nationalities, races, and even species that you cannot explain the cross breeding or the percentage of mixtures involved with the individual. In other words, you would be amazed at the beauty of women from other climes. Hence, the parents are right that he may not prefer to have a Nigerian woman as wife if he travels.

OP, listen to your parents. Marriage is a very important decision a man would make. Don't play around it. As a man who doesn't reside in Nigeria, I will repeat myself - Listen to your parents.

1. Lol. Your parents are not serious

2. They are setting you up for gold digging.

3. They can arrange marriage for you while you're abroad.

4. Are there no Nigerians where you are going? (There are).

5. One love. What if the person you gel with is Ghanaian, Kenyan, Congolese, European, Chinese, Indian, etc. Don't complicate things.

mrbenjame:
Lols. Not at all. It doesn’t require that. My parents are just the ones scared that I’d hook up with a white lady. Which is why they’re pleading I get someone here.

So there are no Nigerians in the abroad??

3 months is too short to know somebody.

Long distance relationships like this have to be serious and marriage minded.

Not a good idea to tell people you just met of your travel plans.

If you want to date, when you get to the abroaad, visit Nigerian church/mosque, naija student unions, etc. You could even meet someone who will make your transition easier.
Career › Re: How Women Are Locked Out Of Nigeria’s Construction Industry by cooooooks(m): 6:57am On Apr 27, 2021
Female participation in Construction is low globally.

I will also say that there are no boundaries to women to be directly in the construction industry. None that I have seen from the industry itself. Every supply chain employs or is run by a lot of women.

Services to construction workers: food, drink, leisure time, is dominated by women.

Have you heard of Adesoye or Olashore?

Romance › Re: Implications Of Dating A Yahoo Boy's Ex-Girlfriend by cooooooks(m):
I think a relationship with (some) ladies in this predicament is doomed to fail.

1. They may have very little empathy. They know the guy is making this money by finishing people's savings. Imagine what she will do to you if she's mad at you.

2. Fast money. They may be used to crazy amounts of money spent and will likely want to keep that going.

3. She may technically be part of the harem. Once beaten, twice shy. What if she's in a money pinch, who do you think she'll meet for help first. What if the guy wants a.travel.companion for 2 weeks in Dubai? Be careful if every minute she has to 'go to the village'.

All this being said, people can change, albeit rarely.

Education › Re: What Was Your Survival Job Oversea As A Student by cooooooks(m): 2:08pm On Apr 18, 2021
Jobs to consider in Canada:
- dishwashing. Easy to get, low pay, can graduate to cook. Restaurant industry is a good place to make friends, including possibly girlfriends. Do not despise McDonald's and other fast food restaurant jobs.

- personal support worker. This is the dreaded cleaning of adult and children diapers. With first aid, you can get this job. The demand is high and the pay is moderate for an entry level job. In Canada, experience in this field can guarantee you permanent residence.

- warehouse worker. I suggest getting a forklift permit if you want to work in this field. The pay is roughly equal to personal care, sometimes more. This position is always in high demand.

- large truck driver. You can graduate from warehouse forklift to this one. In Canada, the government will actually pay you to go to this driving school. You are better off doing this with a work permit not as a student.

- delivery. All you need is a cheap car and time. The pay is not that great but varies. You can survive on this job while having time to prioritize other things. Having a car is usually goodooens the city to you, gives you more opportunities. Doing deliveries is a way to always pay for your car. Plus as a business owner, you can claim car expenses on your taxes.

If you can focus on school and only do part time, do it o. You are better off coming into th country and studying a shirt course that leads you directly to PR. You have much more rights and opportunities as a PR.
