They also find it less masculine in some cases because to them it suggests I guess a less cool and more vain or feminine approach to grooming and fitness. They don't like the idea of a guy looking in the mirror and lifting weights. Some women don't like visible fitness at all because to them it's not "real" and masculine. They want a guy with a gut, but who is physically strong and masculine.

Being paid living wages?, Access to quality health care? Enjoy well equipped educational institutions at all levels? Not living under fear of being kidnapped? Feeding is cheaper in comparison to the minimum wage?

That's your reality and view. Everyone doesn't feel that way. There's guys that walk away from a middle class life abroad and move back to Nigeria. There's people who have a humble job and life, and they're okay with that.

Let those who believe they have better chances in life in Nigeria, remain but they shouldn't diminish those who are also experiencing better chances abroad, it is not patriotism but envy.

Pointing out that people can be happy or have an easier life in Nigeria isn't an attack on anyone. It's interesting that some people feel attacked. Sure some people are jealous, but what kind of person is so viscerally angry at their own soil?

They can find business opportunities in the problems they see in Nigeria, and become an actual millionaire far more easily than they could abroad.

Even if they can't make American wages for long, that money goes very far in Nigeria. They could create a comfortable lifestyle where they barely "need" to work.

A comfortable lifestyle is more attainable and sustainable (generally speaking) compared to other countries.

Your freelancing and a little part-time job likely cannot provide a viable income in the UK. Moving your family abroad without a clear path to a decent living could have you on public assistance. That's literally a good chunk of immigrants' reality. And some of these places they live are filled with crime and dysfunction that can easily victimize your child. Some of these kids end up in gangs purely out of fear of the neighborhood. They want protection, but then they end up committing major crimes. Some of them have other problems, e.g. poverty and lack of stability interfering in education, depression, bullying, and classism combined with racism. Some of them turn to crime and drugs as a "solution" for these problems.

I'm just being real.

However, there are plenty of success stories despite very humble beginnings. So, hey, you never know.

For or against, there's lots of valid points on each side. It's ultimately a very personal decision, and each person must weigh what's important to them rather than just doing what the next man does.
