Develop yourself...for starters, get PGD or Msc form from your alammata. |
Fortune212:Where in the east are you based...I might know someone who's interested in it. |
agemmy113:I believe she's back by now...oya come and tell us the latest? |
subtlemee:True. He obviously had nothing to offer them other than threats. A clear reason why they were all fedup of him and decided to leave. |
Kpokrikpo:You must understand animal farming in details before going into it. All those scammers selling handbooks and boasting of how you can make millions through animal farming, don't have a single farm. Most of them haven't even seen a cat fish pond before. What they use for survival is the proceedings made from the sales of their e-book, seminars...etc and not the farm itself cos they have none. Poultry and fisheries are good business but there is more to it. I have a friend who invested over 5m in poultry farming. As I'm typing this, his farm has been abandonded. He couldn't even secure half of the capital used for the business. I'm not saying its a bad business, but if anyone must go into it, I'll advice that you look for those who have left the business after recording some level of success and picked up another line of interest more profitable than the former, and let them advise you...they're the ones who you're guranteed an honest opinion. They'll tell you the secrets, advantages, disadvantages, feeding, the breed that moves market in your location, the sizes that sells faster, medicine, water treatment to prevent infection (for fish farming)...etc. you'll get all this vital information for free cos they know that you're not competing the market with them since they themselves are no longer in it. Anything outside professional opinion from an experienced animal farmer, you're definitely going to learn the business the hard way after recording repeated lossess. |
KngGezy:They're foreign graduates. Children of the elite in the society. Probably schooled in top universities in UK, USA or Cannada. I can bet with anything that none of those four coppers schooled here in Nigeria, hence their nonchalant attitude towards meeting with the Major General. They obviously have met him severally, both within and outside the shores of this country. |
Jaaa:Ibadan is a great City to start up a very good business with such capital...however, here are a few options I'll give out that you can pick from with your 900k 1. Dry cleaning business. With less than 500k you'll get your washing machine, shop rent, generator, iron, and other expenses. 2. Car wash with less than 600k you can begin this business, all you need is a good location with a very good drainage system then the following items for start-up. Overhead tanks to store water in scarcity Generator to power the equipment and lightings Detergents that are friendly to the car painting layer Buckets, brushes, mop and towels or car washing machine if affordable There might be some more to meet specific demands of customers but above are the least things needed for initial stage. 3. Betting shop This is another area you can invest your 900k. In a location like ibadan, you can easily find someone who's willing to sell his bet shop less than 700k. And because the youths of today see betting as a way out of poverty and hardship, you're definitely going to make it. 4 Standard barbing saloon With less than 900k you can startup a standard barbing saloon business. Just get the shop rent have a carpenter construct the wood work, then do the necessary shop registration as required in your location, and get the following items Large mirror Generator Clippers After-shave, powders, other barbing creams, Combs...etc Chairs. Fan Good luck |
Jaaa:Where are you based |
This government keeps rendering people jobless. They keep promising to create millions of jobs, yet to create policies where the sustainance of the little jobs the massess engage in for suvirval can be guaranteed has become a Herculean task for them. Now that they've successfully eradicated okada and keke, what next? The state just issued a ban and expected everyone to comply or face the consequences without effective measures on ground to provide those affected with alternative means of income which they and their families can survive on? My question is are we in the military era, cos it's only in the military era I know a head of state or military governor can issue a decree and implementation takes off hours after the decree. But this is democracy, we have a state house of assembly where such issues needs proper deliberation and provision of possible solutions the mass unemployment is most likely going to create before implementation takes place. |
ennygal:What's his Nairaland username? |
As a Christian I agree with Easter. Cos it serves as a reminder that Christ died for mankind. The date isn't actually my problem like most people argue, the most important thing is that he (Christ) died and resurrected. |
Rocktation:Safest precaution method for now is to avoid Chinese people. As degrading as this sounds is that they will have little or no screening upon entry into the country. Their white skin qualifies them to move around the country with unrestricted access. The government will keep slumbering until cases and casualties are being recorded and confirmed. The best is to keep yourself and family safe... Happy New year. |
franchasng:You definitely would learn a thing or two by the time you're done reading... believe me |
Midasdave:Your biggest error was informing them (your employer) of the interview. Most privately owned businesses (one man business) tend to loose interest in staffs when they tell them they're going for an interview. They feel you would no longer be productive to them cos your interest lies elsewhere. The best thing was to call in sick (report to work and form sickness)...tell them you want to treat yourself then you leave and attend your interview. If you get lucky and you're given the job, you then tender a resignation letter. Midasdave:It's not improper cos you're not in a cult neither did you enter into any form of covenant with them. Midasdave:You weren't paid because your boss is heartless. Midasdave:Concentrate on the interview you had with the new company. You mentioned that the money you were earning from the previous company was on the low side, therefore using legal means to fight for your rights would require you spending more than the amount you're expecting them to pay you. In my opinion I'll call it "pennywise pound foolish" |
McCoy662:Then she's a hypocrite...how would you sack a staff because he told you that you look good? Is that what they teach them in their church...haven't you seen how majestic the Bible describes God and his throne? |
justthinking:Can movies be downloaded directly from the app? |
bodaola:What kind of silly boss sacks his staff just because he dislikes his ringtone...People like your former boss heap work loads on their staffs with very little pay to show for their tiredless efforts, and would even owe them salaries sometimes. Don't worry, you'll get something much better... staying jobless as a free man is much better than earning peanuts as a slave |
Nathdoug201:The ShopRite you're planning to attack are Nigerian owned business...what we know as franchise. You open your business with your own finance, register it under an already established business and inherit their customer base in your location. So burning ShopRite is the same as destorying businesses owned by Nigerians cos aside the name, every other thing there is owned by Nigerians. The police understands this that's why they're on ground to stop you guys... |
usman3688:For me the only error you made was telling them you want a double of your current salary...that's too much. As for the resumption date, you're currently working and I believe they're aware of it. Some compaines in their staff handbook state clearly that staffs should give a month notice to the company piror to their resignation. Since we're in the last week of January a month from now would be February ending so resuming March is quite normal from a logical view. Also telling them you can work from anyway in the country is also a plus...most candidates frown at volatile states. Therefore giving them a green light on that area should cover up for your error of asking for a double pay if the company in question has branches across the country. Finally, don't bug them, if they want you they'll contact you. Your credentials are with then. Contacting them shows desperation. Good luck. |

Oshokalo:Lol...I'd pick a Nigerian girl anyday any time. Cos it's much more easier to control them than their American counterpart. |
RaptorX:As long as the marriage is legal no one would stop him. What he needs to take to the embassy is the documents of the marriage once it's been verified to be authentic he's good to go. They respect their citizens decisions as regarding marriage... and don't influence it in any way. If an American comes all the way to Nigeria and finds happiness here, her country wouldn't deny or deprive her of it. |
You did the right thing. There's no need coming back there for the money let her have it... I experienced something similar December. I travelled home and tried loading my phone through my bank app cos my subscription was to expire the following day. The network was so bad so I decided to partronize the nearest recharge card vendor. On getting there I told her to give me Airtel 4k, she removed mtn and gave to me. I have an mtn line which is my main line but the Airtel I was buying was for my data subscription. So I told her that nope it's Airtel I requested for. She started shouting that I've stolen her card that that's what people do these days. They would request for recharge card of #5000 snap it with their phone then return it back to her that they're not buying again only to go home and load it. Then when another customer comes and request for card and those ones are given to him/her to load it would be impossible cos it has already been loaded leaving her with no option than to keep issuing card after card until the customer successfully loads one. And the loss of the ones that didn't enter would be on her head. She was really raking o. That she has caught one of the thevies. That I should open my phone gallery. No be small thing o. People gathered and I even gave one of the overzealous guys there my phone to scroll through my phone gallery and when nothing was found I simply told them that I requested for Airtel and this girl brought mtn. Later someone just told me that since I've already collected the mtn and I have an mtn line, I should just pay for it and go. That that's the new style of theft guys do these days. They would request for let's say mtn say like 2-5k quickly snap it then return it and say it's glo they meant. The vendor would then collect back the mtn and tell them there's no glo for that amount, they would leave, go home and load the card since it's already been snapped. I had no choice than to give her the cash for the mtn and still collected Airtel from her and left. I don't blame her though I know what it means to loose #500 recharge card into 10 places that's 5k. How much profit do they make per card kwanu? |
Quality20:By marrying her he's automatically a step father to her (the woman's) kids. So what does he want again if she has a grown-up daughter of above 18 he can even port to her sef. ![]() Besides we all know that this is an arrangee marriage soley for the purpose of the guy obtaining an American permanent resident permit after which both parties can go their separate ways or remain friends with benefits. |
4reala:Excesses you mean |
naijainfogalery:Well said |
Ogochukwu3119:I meant the sender's email used to send you the mail. |
Peteru1st:Sorry bro...this economy isn't favouring anyone most especially producers. It's most likely that they're downsizing in order to increase their profit base. All hope isn't lost...keep searching I believe you'll get a much better job. Good luck. |
Ogochukwu3119:What's the email that sent you the message |
agemmy113:Relax, she didn't confront you that means she isn't angry with what you said. If she found what you said irrating she would have responded directly to you and not involved a third party (her house help) When she comes back, greet her normally and continue with your job, it's most likely that she'll let it slide or informally ask you what you meant by that statement. If the later is the case, simply tell her that you were appreciating God's creative art work in her and nothing more... believe me, women love being appreciated regardless of how unapproachable or mean they might look. That reply alone would make her giggle and give a fake hiss and ask you to return back to your job. But deep down she will be the happiest person that day. There's nothing to worry about. No female boss would sack her staff for complimenting her looks. But next time learn to mind your business...it reduces problems and unnecessary anxeity. |
Ishilove:And a plan needs a step in faith for it to succeed...stop admiring the plan and take the step. The faith of the world and our new race depends on it...and did I forget to mention that you'll get your wish as well. ![]() |
