FamilyRe: My Dad!! by CrazyMan(m):
I'm really sorry for what your dad put you girls through, and what your mum is currently going through.

But that musn't be a reason why you should not succeed in life.

You're through with school according to your story, so I would suggest you look for a job, get married and take care of your mum.

The evil men do lives after with them...your dad would definitely pay for all he did to you girls.

I'm sure that when old age must have consumed his better half, and poverty dealing terribly with him, he would sit back and regret what he did to you girls.

Accept my deepest sympathy...it is well.

Interesting picture story...our Eastern governors need to sit up...our roads are bad.

Those that are familiar with the Enugu onitsha express way can attest to that.

They just have to sit up.

Christianity EtcRe: What Makes You Think That God Exists? by CrazyMan(m): 8:24am On Nov 20, 2012
cyrexx: but why would God need to be proven in the first place? Cant he just reveal himself to people if he exists and wants people to believe him?
Free will.

"God can't reveal himself to us clearly," because he wants us to have free will. We have to be free to believe in him or not--- And even if clearly revealing himself somehow "forced" us to recognize his existence... would that also force us to worship or obey him?

cyrexx: Different and conflicting religions all think their various imaginary gods created the world and they cant all be right. Can they?
True...they can't all be right.

I'm not here to condemn any religion, neither would I say mine is more superior to theirs...everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

cyrexx: Now science is offering an explanation of this world that holds true irrespective of any religion and culture and they give proofs and evidence to back up their claims
Truth is...Science can neither prove or disprove the existence of God.

cyrexx: The atheists just see every religion as a fairy tale, the way you guys see all other religion as fairy tale except the one you had been raised to believe.
I think it is because you guys believe religion to be based on myth (i.e. fairy tales).

Perhaps if you spend more time doing your home work...you'll come to discover that its not a fairy tale after all.

cyrexx: I hope you understand. Speaking for myself and similar atheists, its NOT like we make up our mind NOT to believe him, its just that we cannot see the sense in the religious claims that a single imaginary entity among several imaginary entities is the creator of this world

Peace
You're entitled to your own opinions.

Peace!
PoliticsLASG To Seize Vehicles Parked On Sidewalk by CrazyMan(op): 7:19am On Nov 20, 2012
The Lagos State Government is set to put an end to indiscriminate parking of vehicles on sidewalks.

Governor Babatunde Fashola on Sunday said there was a need to ensure sanity in people’s attitude to driving and road usage.

He said the Ministry of Physical Planning and other relevant agencies had been instructed to begin aggressive sanitisation of the state roads by removing vehicles causing obstruction to free vehicular movement.

The governor, who was fielding questions from Lagosians during the celebration of his 2,000 days in office said, “I have instructed the Ministry of Physical Planning and other ministries concerned to go out and remove vehicles from sidewalks.

“If you cannot contain your vehicles inside your premises, we will come and take them away.”

The governor also urged traders in the state to desist from trading on the sidewalks, saying it prevents people living with disabilities from having unhindered space to use.

Meanwhile, former Lagos State Commissioner for Public Transportation, Dr. Segun Ogundimu, has asked Fashola to stop pursuing commercial motorcyclists, popularly called okada riders but face real issues in the state.

Ogundimu, at a press conference in Lagos on Sunday, said, “The traffic law as it relates to the okada operators should not make you lose sight of the necessity to protect the travelling public.

“You must do something about real issues in the state rather than pursue okada riders all over the place.”

He said the force with which the restriction of okadas on some routes was being enforced was like “killing an ant with a sledge hammer”.

Ogundimu said during his era as commissioner, the challenges of okada riders were not different from what obtained currently.

He said a very sizeable number of operators were unemployed school leavers, some of whom are graduates, were non-indigenes who had noticed the yawning gap in the state’s supply side of public transportation.

Therefore, the operators, he said, had taken up the gauntlet to tackle the challenge created by the inadequate support for the travelling public.

He said with the restriction and strict enforcement, the increasing tendencies of operators to be hired by negative groups to perpetrate nefarious activities to people of questionable characters were high.

Ogundimu said okada remained the only viable and swift means of affordable public transportation in Lagos today.

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Normal To See The Spirit Of A Dead Relative? by CrazyMan(m): 4:59pm On Nov 19, 2012
Seeing ghost, spirits, demons and devils as perfectly normal.

I myself I've seen lots of ghost and spirit on so many occasions.

Its normal if you ask me...however, if they feel they no longer enjoy the presence of the spirit, and they wish to discontinue the visits, then they would have dispose all the belongings of the dead relative the have in their possession..that's the only way the ghost would stop tormenting them.

ijebabe: It is?
Yea it is...lots of cool places to hang out...you'll have the opportunity of eating fresh fruits from the tree, vegetables...etc.

There are also scores of live bands in most bamboo bars...highlife music to refresh your spirit...fresh bush meat and pammy (palm wine) are not an exception... cool

Awka has very free roads, apart from major junctions like Amawbia, Eke-Awka, Arroma, okpuno (Y junction)...etc, you would hardly encounter traffic jam on any road.

There are two main markets in Awka...Eke-Awka, and Nkwo-Amenyi...where you can get all kinds of product ranging from, food stuffs, to electronics, clothes, shoes, phones...etc from these markets.

For security...I think the security is ok...but avoid late night movements just to be on the safe side.

Light is an issue in some parts, but if you have a gen set, you're good.

If you're the television type, then you would definitely need a satellite tv (dstv, mytv, etc) cos the home channels are below standard.

ijebabe: Hmmm.
I will have to visit eventually, its inevitable smiley
Good to hear that....christmas is just around the corner, perhaps you could begin preparations for your trip...and once you're there, just buzz me, and I would ensure you have a great time. wink
