"Standing of a man in a row (saff) in the way of Allah is superior to 60 years of worship." [al-Hakim, classed as Saheeh by al-Albani]

This is the superiority of standing in a row, so what about one who fights in the way of Allah for days, or months, or years?
Would you mind explaining this particular quote...I don't seem to understand your definition....
CrimeRe: ANSU Student Beaten-up For Multiple Crimes by CrazyMan(m): 10:07am On Nov 09, 2012
This is very wrong and inhuman.

Those security men have no right and I repeat they have no right to strip a student and beat him up publicly regardless of the crime[s] he committed.

Where are the school management...what are they saying about this kind of humiliation...are they in support of it?

I believe that as a student of that institution, he has a right to a fair trial, if found guilty of the said crime he committed, he should be handed over to relevant authorities.

Taking laws into their own hands by brutalizing him publicly is totally wrong....those security guys should be arrested.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Urges Lagosians To Endure Okada Ban by CrazyMan(m):
LAGOS — Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday, urged residents of the state to endure whatever inconveniences the restriction of commercial motorcycle operators popularly called Okada riders from the state metropolis might have caused them.
He shouldn't urge them to endure...rather he should come with a means by which Lagosians can enjoy a fast, affordable and a much safer means of transportation.

You can't block man's source of income and ask him to endure...endure on what...

Fashola who made the appeal at the 2012 edition of the Lagos State Community Day Celebration, held at the Police College, Ikeja, theme: ‘The Role of Community Development in Tackling Security Challenges in Nigeria,’ said that the problems were characteristic of the introduction stage of every life -changing law and policies of the government.
Fashola should concentrate more on tackling crime in the state, rather than banning okada men...if at all he should ban them, then giving time restrictions by which they should operate (eg. 7am-8pm) would be a fair judgment...

Lagos is being hunted by petty thieves and dare devil robbers.

If banning okada is the best approach he can come up with to curb this menace, then Lagos is doomed.

He, however, assured the residents that the legislation would be of great benefit to Lagosians in the long-run.“There will be no gain without some pain attached to it. And every resident of Lagos should be ready to sacrifice for the reward that would come in a short time.”
Which residents are you referring to oga Fashola...is it the ones your administration dumped at upeweka, or the ones you told to go back to their villages as a result of the hardship your administration has put them through.

Be specific sir...

Okada Riders…

“Every time we inconvenience you because we are constructing a road, or building drainages, within a short time you begin to drive on the road and see your environment flood free by the next rainfall.”
So is Fashola promising that the ban would be lifted up once he's done with the construction of roads in Lagos?

According to him, “Okada will not be our transportation model in this state. Other states have banned it and heaven did not fall in those states. Our state will not be a dumping ground for motorcycles. But instead of banning it in Lagos, what the government has done was to restrict their operations on 475 roads out of 9,000 roads.”
He (Fashola) cannot compare the population of other states to that of Lagos....Lagos is a mega city filled with millions of people...so every means of transportation that would ensure that residents gets easy access within the state should be welcomed.

He emphasised:“I think we have been extremely generous with the new road traffic law. What we want from residents is some sacrifice.”
I think you're harsh and care very little about the plight of those you govern.
Dude how are you even sure this story is true?
I think I eavesdropped on a similar discussion on another thread....same actress, same south south governor, same bbm proof....It might be true you know...

But in order not to jump into hasty conclusions with half baked evidence like you stated earlier.....it would be wise to keep our fingers cross, while we wait for a more concrete source.

But in the meant time...saying a thing or two about the whole incident shouldn't be a bad idea.... wink

Why that particular number? It wasn't a mistake mister, he was just looking for a booty call to supposedly help him feel better.
I want to blame the ex for even paying mind to him but I wish I could, who knows? She might still be hung up on him and said to herself "my prayers have been answered".
That morasucker was not drunk and I can bet my left n1pple that he knew what he was doing so don't even try to blame it on the alcohol.
Well said.

I see nothing wrong with that anyway.

tunnytox: Seun, you can't compare Facebook with Nairaland which is a faceless forum, a lot of racist, tribalistic and ridiculous posts which usually have plenty of likes need to get some unlikes as well.
Mr Seun is right...

Truth is a dislike button serves no practical purpose other than being another avenue of displaying your hatred, anger, frustration...etc, on a post made by someone you probably don't like.

If you don't like what someone posts, ignore it - it's actually pretty easy. You must not comment on every thread.

If you disagree with what someone says, a better way to deal with it if you must comment, is to counter it logically. If you can't, remain mute.

A dislike button wouldn't be advisable.

Christianity EtcRe: Hell Believers; Are You Going 2 B Watching Us Atheists Burn In Hell From Heaven? by CrazyMan(m): 11:10am On Nov 08, 2012
truthislight: that you guys are painting God black.

^^^ is rather serving the purpose of satan by turning people away from a God they imagined to be cruel according to what you wrongly say is God's plans.

Fire is used symbolically in the bible.

Even though it is an old teaching in christiandom, it is wrongly applied to the scriptures that uses symbolism(symbols) at certain places.

The bible says that fire "means" second death, a death without a promise of a resurection.

Since the second that is symbolise by fire and there is no promise of some one resurecting if he dies again after being resurected, it then means that the second death is eternal death(forever stay death)

so,
fire = second death
fire = death without resurection
fire = a symbol of everlasting destruction by God in the bible.

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:14-15).

(even abstract imaterial things that cant get burnt literally are also thrown into this symbolic fire, meaning that they will be no more)
It seems you've terribly mistaken me for someone else.

Try reading my posts a second time....

RangeCars: Show me a man who does not pay 10% of what he earns and i will show a man who pays it and the track record of his success...................i have lived in both worlds and surely paying Tithe is a great thing to do. Just saying
In case you don't know, muslims don't pay tithes, and yet they are successful.

Most unbelievers don't pay tithes, and yet they're still successful.

Success doesn't come from paying tithe, rather it comes from hard work.

Finally...God isn't interested in your money but your heart...MOGs turn and twist the scriptures so you can ignorantly give them your hard earned cash.

Therefore I would suggest that you open your eyes to reality and stop living in ignorance.

teeo: Mr Crazy all u did was speak against the church of God. Somethings are better left unsaid
So you'd rather keep quiet than rise up against men who rob and extort you publicly...

And for the records, I didn't speak against the church of God, rather I spoke on the decay and corruption which is presently going on in the church....and unless people like you awake from your slumber, and resist it, the body of christ would be reduced to nothing.

Joagbaje: I started from childhood too.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Stop misquoting the scriptures.

It didn't say train a child to pay tithe....christ never instructed us to pay tithe.

And I think you need to read this thread..
