Christianity EtcRe: What The Bible Is. Attention: Christians. by CrazyMan(m): 6:01pm On Aug 18, 2012
plaetton: he he. Fear not.
My intention was not start a debate. I have honestly grown weary of debating with faith.

I just wanted to point out that bible is said to be the best selling book in the world, yet it is the least read book, especially by christians.
I am yet to meet a christian who has completely read the bible, sequentially from end to end.
I guess that make syou an exception.
You actually make a point here.

IslamRe: Prophet Mohammed Was A Womaniser? by CrazyMan(m): 11:23am On Aug 18, 2012
Evil Brain: How come you're not trying to defend your faith? What's your explanation for Mohammed's behaviour? Is it that the scriptures are wrong and he didn't really do any of those things? Or is it that he isn't held to the same standard as other followers of allah?

Could a Muslim please comment on this?

No insults please.
What do you want them to say?

Their god married a 9year old girl. I now see why the fulani herdsmen and his other misguided followers r*ape infant girls randomly.

Its obvious they're walking in the footsteps of their master.
IslamRe: Ramadan: Is Nigeria The Only Country With The Problem Of The Missing Moon? by CrazyMan(m): 11:11am On Aug 18, 2012
Omoswags: Please oh! I want to know if the moon has been seen elsewhere, cause i no longer understand my Dear country anymore. I just left school for home to relax during this few days break, i don't need any story from anybody oh! The holiday must hold oh..

IslamRe: Islam And Their Moonlight Tales by CrazyMan(m): 11:05am On Aug 18, 2012
Wateron: This is just a guess by the maker of the calendar. If the moon was sited yesternight we would have been celebrating Eid today. If u check another calendar perhaps it will say 18 or 20. Islam has its principle it guides the religion.

Christianity EtcRe: is The Wearing Of Necklaces And Ear Rings Scriptural In The Bible? by CrazyMan(m): 10:55am On Aug 18, 2012
obazuwa: Pls fellow nairalanders could you pls help me with verses in the bible that condem the use of jewlery vis a vis necklace and ear rings, because i heard a pastor preaching against it this morning that the usage of the above mentioned will not make heaven,so pls help me
That pastor is a fraud and I would advise that you keep away from his church. Who is he to condem the jewlery of a woman?

Or does he expect evey christian woman to look like a house maid? angry

In Exodus 11 from verse 2  Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold. 3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

Here, God clearly recomended jewles for his people because he wanted them to look like kings and queens not slaves and maids.

I would conclude by saying this. Christianity is about winning souls for christ; and every true Christian must note that and avoid unnecessary debates like whether or not you should put on trousser, jewels, jeans and other wordly stuff.
Christianity EtcRe: If God Is Love, Why Did He Hate Esau? by CrazyMan(m): 10:39am On Aug 18, 2012
stillme: When I was reading my bible as usual,I came across the story of Esau and Jacob which I found interesting but at a time I could not understand the story when I saw"Jacob I love,Esau I hate".
To bible scholars, why did God hate Esau?
This is the full passage

Romans 9 from verse 13.
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

Now note one thing here, God didn't hate Esau; he was only fulfilling the promise he made to Abraham. He just loved Jacob more.

If you turn your bible to Genesis 36 verse 1, you would also notice that as Jacob was the father of the israelities, Esau was was also the father of the Edomities.

This proves that God blessed him also and made him the father of a great nation like he did to jacob.
Christianity EtcRe: Did Adam And Eve Even Warrant The Punishment They Got? by CrazyMan(m): 10:18am On Aug 18, 2012
inurmind: We all know the story of the disobedience and punishment of adam nd eve, but the question is, DID THEY REALLY DESERVE ALL THAT hardship that would even resonate to their descendants? Basically, God created them without critical thinking or reasoning abilities i.e they didn't know the difference between what was right and wrong, good and bad (gen 2vs17). It could be deducted that they reasoned like children and had no deep thoughts about anything. In short they were gullible. Therefore it was no surprise that the devil could deceive them (although to me he was merely saying the bitter truth: gen 3vs5). But then God comes along and gives them this banging punishment like they were responsible for the september 11 bombings. Now disobedience is a sin right? And to commit sin is BAD? Now how in the world could they have deserned that it was bad when they had no ''knowledge of good and evil''? When he had created them to be so guillible, so blind and not know right from wrong? Or will someone come and say ''knowledge of good and evil'' means something else::/:/:/. Nigerians, lets start using our brains and making progress away from this borrowed religion.
God gave them a simple instruction, and they disobeyed him. How else could he have tested their loyality towards him?

I believe they deserved the punishment he gave them.
