Delafruita: am sure he doesnt even understand what he postedI think I do...and I agree with him, I can never choose islam. I would rather die than allow someone force me to learn arabic. That religion Is just too violent for me. If they claim they preach peace, why don't they value human life? Why must you kill someone? Just take a look at the world today...if you don't hear them in Nigeria, its Afganistan or Syria, or Iraq. What is it? ![]() They keep telling us that they are a religion of peace when they can't even live in peace with people that have different beliefs from them. Charity they say begins at home. |
Delafruita: i suggest you accept the reality that jesus doesnt existGive me a reasonable proof and I would believe he doesn't exist. I'm a principled person. I believe in facts |
If I were God, I would eleminate wickness from this earth once and for all so that my people can live in peace. |
Delafruita: yes i did.everyone visits "heaven" and "hell".some days are like hell and some are like heaven.however,so many smart folks have made millions by telling people the hogwash story of "jesus took me to heaven and hell".Even if those characters you mentioned didn't actually go to heavel and hell respectively, they proved one important point. Jesus is coming soon so I suggest you prepare yourself for that coming. |

Sattors: Am asking this question out of curiosity, Lets assume Jesus was born in our generation and you know everything abt him from when he was born includin his poor parent. Would you had believed his preaching dat he is from God?If he performed the kind of miracles he did in the bible, I would believe him. Regardless of his poor background. |
I'm through arguing with you. If you choose to see christianity as a clownish religion, then fine. What I'm certain of is that on the last day, you would give an account of how you lived your life. My prayer is that God shouldn't hold this thread you started against you on that day. Its never too late to serve him. Ask him to come into your life, and I'm sure that your life would never remain the same. Good luck. |
Yea thanks |
sexkillz: [color=#000030]i was about to open a bottle of "Harp" and I just encountered this. The content of the bottle was particle laden.Too be honest, I've encountered something similar. It happened some months back in a beer palour. I ordered for my usual (Harp) and it was given to me. When I was about opening it, to my greatest surprise, I saw some withish foamy like particles embedded at ther bottom of the bottle. I called the attention of the bartender who apologised and changed the drink. After that incident, I changed my brand to star. You can also do the same since both drinks are almost similar in taste. |
oluyolah: Our Most High Prophet T.B JOSHUA at exactly 04.55pm during the Live service on Sunday 26th August 2012 Announced to the Whole World that People should not leave their Laptop On while sleeping on the bed to avoid been Overheating and it can result in Burning Down every thing in the house. he continue warning people that many people have died because of the overheating from the laptop.Too bad how people misquote men of God. |
Delafruita: still in church(though spending almost all my time on my phone).dont even know what the sermon is about but i couldnt help but hearing the part about "samson killed 1000 phillistines with the jaw of an asss".how the fvck does someone even believe such fable? If you wish not believe what is written in the scriptures, its up to you. But making a mockery of the bible whould result in a stiff punishment from God. You are warned. |
If I go to jail it would be fun to have a companion (you) since we are all guilty. We would keep each other company you know. And believe me, it would be much fun. ![]() |
My dear you don't have to feel shy when giving an offering most especially when yoiu feel the amount is big enough. In luke 22:1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. This passage, Jesus pointed out specfically that the amount of money you put into the box doesn't mean that you're high on God's list. But what qualifies you is your heart and motive in giving that offering. So my dear, ignore the transparent box and give God an offering from your heart, and I'm sure he would reward you. |
This is not funny. If you feel you can make a mokery of christ, then you're simply telling him "to hell with your salvation". Therefore I would suggest that you take caution. If you must go to a church simply because you want to feel christs presence, then you must be willing to submit yourself totally to him so as to let him into life. I would recomed this passage to you. 2 Kings 6:15-16. And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Your reason for not being able to see Jesus was that your eyes wasn't opened just like Elisha's servant. So when next you visit that church, pray that God should open your eyes and believe that when he does that, you would see Jesus. Because I'm sure that he was in that congregation. |
Really? So what makes you feel you're the good ones ![]() |

Jesus is the son of God. Therefor the as the son (Jesus) exists, so also the father (God) exists. Below are some passages to confirm my argumet. Mark 16:19. So then after the lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Acts 7:55. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, Colossians 3:1. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Romans 8:34. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. So with this passages, I believe that Jesus is the son of God and not God himself. |

Romans 11 vs 25-32 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. Now this passage passage is talking about repentance. Paul was telling the Romans not to be ignorant of the mystery of Christ. From verse 25b-verse 27 tells us about prophet Isaiah's prophecy about the birth of christ. And I believe that Christ did come to take away their sins as stated in verse 27. Verse 28-32 was pauls message to childern of Israel telling them that even they (the israelities) and the gentiles are kown enemies, they are still loved by God, he cos (God) made it so so that he may have mercy on them. Now to the next verse. 2Thessalonians 2verse 3 Don't let anyone decieve you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawless is revealed, the man doomed to destruction NIV. Now this passage confirms what Jesus said in matthew 24 from verse 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Omo Alata: I started 'Search the Scriptures' this year. It's a 3-year bible study course by Alan M Stibbs (to complete the entire Bible). It's absolutely fantastic. It takes me about 20mins a day with the questions after you read the passage. I think it will take me less than 3 years to complete it as sometimes I get carried away with a certain subject and read 2 or 3 days worth in a day. The questions afterwards makes the passage really sink inFirst I want to commend you for this bold step. Its really good to see that with all the evil and corruption in the world, someone can actually devote her time to study God's word. I'm really happy for you. Finally I would advise you to ask God for wisdom and understanding. Cos from experience, I've noticed that it takes less than 10 minutes to read a chapter but a life time to understand. Therefor endavour to ask for guidance from the holy spirit and I'm sure that you would have no regrets. Good luck. |
@Topic I believe that Jesus spent more time warning us about hell because of the horrors associated with hell. In revelation 1 verse 18 it says. I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Here in this verse, Christ assured us that even though hell is real, he holds the key to it. So if you serve him diligently you would be free from the horrors of hell. So I believe that christ continuous emphasis about hell fire was to tell christians that 1. Hell is real 2. He holds the keys 3. Once you go into it (hell) there's no coming out 4. Hell is for eternity 5. Only those whose name isn't in the book of like would find themselves there. ifeness: But check this verse in the bible you read everyday;I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world" (John 12:47). Clearly means he came to enlighten the world and not judge, unlike you so called Christians do. The second question you can ask from that verse is; did Jesus fail his mission?True jesus came to save the world. But have you actually asked yourself what he came to save the world from. In revelation 20 from verse 2-15 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. In this verse you would see clearly that christ came to save the world. And you ask how... Actually its by judging devil and his demons, but since they (the devil and co) have succeeded in decieving thousands, they would all be judged accordingly as you can see in the passage above. But that still doesn't mean that christ didn't come to save the world. Infact that was his main mission on earth. But don't be decieved that Christ came to save the world doesn't mean that hell doesn't exist. It does and is very real. ifeness: If Hell is real, and the devil is the one who deceives people into going there, isn't he ultimately the winner in the war for souls? After all, traditional interpretation of the Bible says that more people will end up in Hell than in Heaven. If so, how can we really call Satan the defeated enemy and jesus the victor? Now in this passage Revelation 12 from verse 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. This was when satan lost the battle. You must note that satan knows that he has already been defeated that's why he's looking for souls that's would burn in hell with him. In 1peter 5: 8 it says Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: The devil has already lost the battle and he knows that. So the idea of more people ending up in hell is as a result of their ignorance nothing more. Jesus has already defeated him on the cross. ifeness: Another question is God of the Bible is the Devil christians worship? It is also said in your book ;"See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand" (Deuteronomy 32:39). Is that not enough evidence that this UFO being is manipulating the so called christians? My dear when next you read the bible, ask the holy spirit for guideance and understanding, and I believe he would help you. It makes no sense misinterpreting the holy word of God (Bible) just to justify your claims. God hates all forms of blasphemy against his holy word. So I would suggest that you ask for forgivness and pray for the baptism of the holy spirit. ifeness: If Hell is a real place of endless torment, and your God didn't want anyone to end up there, why didn't he just kill Adam and Eve and end the long terrible chain of misery that passed to their offspring before it began? After all, the Scriptures say that all died because of Adam. (Rom. 5:18)The scriptures never said in Romans 5:18 that all died because of Adam. Below is the full passage Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Adam's offence brought judgement and condemnation to all men, but Jesus death brought life to all mankind. So as you can see, hell is real therefore repent and accept Jesus into your life so as to escape that terrible place. Thanks. |
