@ Missy. . .I ain't defending anyone, rich or poor! The fact is most rich people who got rich on their own effort worked their way up from "not having" to "having in excess". As far as I know and all things being equal, any averagely smart and very hardworking person can go from poor to rich but for some lazy dumb-ass sitting pretty in some country, who has not even earned $100,000 cash, to be writing something utterly useless like $1,000,000,000,000 probably due to lack of education is really annoying! Some hardworking Nigerian guy has lived in America for less than two years and has made that sort of cash legitimately but what has mumu-waiting-for-welfare-gee done? Still in need for that "amount of money"?

This is kind of mindset that feeds the averagely-smart Nigerian guy to over-reach himself by pulling off a scam in which the whole country is again in the news for the wrong reasons! 419. Yahoo-Yahoo! For as long as people, especially long-throated deep-throats like mumu-gee are allowed to shoot their igbako-wide mouth and without caution, 419, stealing and corruption will not and cannot reduce in Nigeria and Nigerians!

Politics › Unvelievable! Cows? - Why We Carried Out The Attacks –suspects by CyberG(op): 6:49pm On Mar 13, 2010
Three of the people suspected to have carried out the attacks in which more than 500 residents of three communities in Plateau State were killed tell JUDE OWUAMANAM why they participated in the operation. I killed only three of the residents –Dahiru Adamu, 25-year-old cattle rearer

Why were you arrested?

They said that we went to Dogo Na Hauwa to kill people.

Is it true that you killed people?

Yes.

How many people did you kill?

I killed three people.

Were they men, women or children?

They were adults; one male and two females

How did you kill them?

I used stick to hit them and when they fell I cut them with knife.

What type of knife did you use?

A sharp knife.

Why did you go there to kill them?

During the last crisis, they killed people and cows, so we went to retaliate.

Were they sleeping when you got there?

Some of them were sleeping and some were awake. We first set the houses on fire and when they run out we killed them.

We planned the attack at Fobur –20-year-old Haruna Ibrahim

Where were you arrested?

Dogo Na Hauwa

Why were you arrested?

I was arrested because many people were killed in Dogo Na Hauwa.

Is it true that you killed people?

No.

Did you see people being killed?

No.

Did you see bodies of people that were killed?

No. We shared ourselves into groups. I only killed pigs.

Is it good to kill?

No.

So why did you kill?

I did not kill; I only went there.

Why did you go there?

I went there to tell them to release the cattle they seized from us if they were not ready for trouble.

Who organised the attack?

We met at Fobur (Jos East) and decided on the attack.

How long did it take to plan the attack?

It took some time, but I only attended the meeting once.

Did they tell you they were going to attack?

I used to rare my cattle on Thursdays. So on Friday, I met two people who asked me the venue of the meeting for the attack on Dogo. I told them I did not know about the attack. They told me about the plan and I volunteered to take part. When I went there, I saw a lot of people, but I could only recognise Zakari

Were you told that people were to be killed at Dogo?

No. But they killed our people and our cattle during the January crisis and I know that there was going to be a revenge mission at Dogo.

We struck because they killed our people

–25-year-old Zakari Yakubu

Why did you go to Dogo Na Hauwa?

They killed our people and cattle and we went there to revenge.

Were you paid for the attack?

No.

Were you part of the meeting where the attack was planned?

Yes.

How many times did you attend the meeting?

Many times. I cannot remember.

Who organised the meetings?

Some of our leaders. But I don’t know them.

I can't believe anyone still believes and does the conference thing to get a visa! I know a couple of guys who used to pull this stuff like almost 10 years ago but hey, as you have been advised. . .NEVER do any offline visa thing! It is a rip-off, a scam and Canadian Immigrations does not care if you spent all your savings to get this visa. If you ever make it to Canada illegally, you go REALLY suffer man! You can't extend a visiting visa or change it to another kind of visa (e.g. student visa). . .you will have to start in Naija to have it legit and gain the support of the system in Canada.

Moving to Canada could be fun but just don't pack your bag and move anywhere. . .for as someone suggested. . .check it out first! If you think you've seen cold in Nigeria or some other place. . .you probably ain't seen the REAL cold! Not all parts of Canada are that cold. . .so, this is why you need to really check things out for you don't want to invest a lot of resources in this stuff and find that you don't like it and wish to move again!

Like people already suggested, www.cic.gc.ca is your friend and most reliable source of information if you are planning to visit or live in Canada.

@poster I'm assuming you were directing at me.

You are soo vaunted to think this was addressed to you? NO, it is not! Looking at some of your other post, even a DOG will not ask for your opinion on whether it should eat a bone seeing you are so overly-hypocritical, self-righteous pharisical sleaze-bag!

To the orriginal author. first off marriage and intimacy are different subjects completely.

intimacy is a perk in a relationship not a requirement, and i know some half wit is going to quote a 2000 year old piece of paper saying otherwise but from a biological standpoint (speak to a Dr for confirmation)
Look INSANITY IS SHI.TTING on YOU! MAY YOU GET MARRIED TO THAT LOSER WHO WILL INDEED SEE SE.X as a PERK and NOT A REQUIREMENT! SO, this fool thinks she is smarter than the "2000 year old piece of paper", WHICH INSTITUTIONALIZED MARRIAGE? I CAN'T STAND YOUR LEPROUS SOUL! WOE BETIDE YOU SATAN, AGAIN, I REPEAT. . .EVIL BETIDE YOU DAUGHTER OF SATAN!

intimacy is not a requirement for a healthy life. now to feel sexy again that is all on you. feeling sexy comes from within, if you believe yourself to be sexy (though confirmation is helpful) you will feel it. if do not think you are sexy, no matter how many people tell you otherwise you will never feel sexy. if having self esteem issues speak to a licensed counselor (always always always use a licensed counselor or doctor and not those who only claim to be, request to see a copy of their diploma or license, if they refuse move on. any well respected physican would be more then happy to show it to you). now to getting pregnant. no one can tell you when you will ovulate without a though check up since all women are different. you will need to have your hormones mapped, cervical mucus levels checked and temperature taken daily for 2 months min to begin to form a general idea (within 2-3 days). your stress, diet and exercise will influence you month to month

to you. some people think the entire purpose of marriage is to have someone to have intimacy with. "getting married to have intimacy is like buying an airline to eat peanuts". your spouse is you partner, your lifelong companion and friend who will never abandon you as the vows state as long as you cause them no physical of emotional suffering. now intimacy and children are a perk to marriage, if as im sure some religious _____ is going to yell, if they were entitlements or requirements why didnt god allow for ALL people to have the physical ability to bear children ir have intimacy? no answer? then your religious objection is mute.

There are growing fears that the N200 billion agriculture loan meant to revive the agriculture sector of the economy is missing.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that nearly a year after the fund was said to have been released, the fund could not be traced, as the relevant bodies were refusing to comment on the whereabouts of the fund.

Despite threats from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Governors’ Forum and the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in October last year, to descend heavily on the disbursing banks, no farmer has, so far, benefited.

The scheme, which was floated as a bond by the Debt Management Office (DMO), with technical assistance from the CBN, was to be administered by the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and the First Bank of Nigeria (FBN). Later, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Dr Sayyadi Ruma, announced the addition of five commercial banks which included GTB, Union Bank, Fidelity Bank, Oceanic

Politics › Ac Chairmanship Aspirant Murdered; Police "promise" to UNRAVEL killers. . . by CyberG(op): 1:27am On Mar 06, 2010
AC Chairmanship Aspirant Murdered

A chairmanship aspirant on the platform of Action Congress (AC), in Ward II of Ibadan South East Local Government area of Oyo State, Hon. Taiwo Falade, was yesterday murdered by gunmen at his Odo-Oba, Ibadan, residence.

An eye witness who wished to remain anonymous said the incident happened around 4.30 p.m. during a peace meeting among members of the party hosted by the deceased.

“We were about to round off the peace meeting when we heard gun shots and subsequent shout by the residents  that armed robbers were around.

However, before we could peep outside from the sitting room where the meeting was being held, the assassins who were fully armed and four in number had climbed the staircase and ordered everybody into the sitting room. They then asked for the whereabouts of R.O. Shittu who happens to be a friend of the deceased. Failing to locate him, they pounced on late Falade and marched him down to the ground floor. They then told him to run away. While the deceased was running for his dear life, the assassins rained bullets on him, the eyewitness said.

An AC member, Alhaji Nuru Ishola who spoke with Saturday Tribune at the scene of the incident said that a disagreement broke out among members of the party at a meeting held last Wednesday.

According to him, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in the area was  informed of the dispute. Today’s meeting was meant to resolve the disagreement before the dastard act was perpetrated, he said.

A former chairman of Ibadan South East Local government, Hon. Yahaya Akinbile, under whose late Falade served as a supervisor said that one could not link the squabbles in the party to the incident. According to him, “there are squabbles here and there, and AC is not an exception, he said.

Another eyewitness said the assassins who came in a Honda saloon car, had earlier stationed themselves at strategic places immediately they arrived the area.

The remains of the late politician was later carried away in a police vehicle with registration No. NPF 1114C.

In a telephone chat, Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Bola Baolanta confirmed that the incident happened around 5.00 p.m. and that investigation had started to unravel those behind the murder.

Politics › We’re not aware of luxury bus attack —FRSC by CyberG(op): 7:27am On Mar 05, 2010
THE Federal Road Safety Commission on Thursday said its officials were not informed about last week’s accident on Benin-Sagamu expressway which reportedly claimed the lives of many passengers on February 25, as alleged by the Senate on Wednesday.

In a statement sent by e-mail by the commission’s Deputy Corps Commander, Mr. Bisi Kazeem, the FRSC said the incident was neither reported by its patrol team nor at its headquarters.

The FRSC said the only incident resembling the one discussed by the Senate, was the one that occurred on August 1, 2009 along Shagamu –Ijebu-Ode road by Backcock University junction in Ogun State at about 10.30pm.

The statement explained that it was an armed robbery attack on a ‘Young Shall Grow’ luxury bus with registration number XF285AKD.

According to the report, “While the passengers were being robbed, they were ordered to lie down on the road by the robbers.”
Events of the past 24-48 hours has made it clear to me that the participants in the so-called North/South power sharing agreement plan to honour the agreement by hook or crook.  Even if Yar'Adua is brain dead and on a life support machine, he can be kept alive until 2011, frustrating any effort by Jonathan to rule the country or plan to run for office in 2011.

I suspect that  Jonathan does not have the guts to make the necessary power play he needs to fully wrestle power away from the North - he apparently does not control the millitary and is afraid to replace the ministers with people who will be loyal to him.

I submit to you that within 1 year, Jonathan can make very significant inroads. He could bring about lasting peace in the ND, and work with the Americans who have promised to help Nigeria's power generation sector to increase capacity to 10,000MW by 2011!  If Jonathan can achieve these 2 things, he will be endeared to Nigerians forever. Jonathan is still young and can always run as a Southern candidate in 2015 - not necessarily with PDP.

My question to forumites is this:

Is it time for Jonathan to announces that he will not run for office in 2011?   I think if he does that, the power grabbers may give him a free hand to rule for the next 12 months or so.

Jonathan is now like a teenager boy that has just been disvirgined and who will spend the rest of his life chasing skirts (toto).  He has tasted power and his best chance to rule may come in 2015 if he plays his cards right.  Jonathan's hidden ambition to run in 2011 may be ill advised and naive.
^^^^ Airhead, I come in war and your destruction is at hand! It suffices to note that Yar'Adua is a human being like you and I; we are no better than he is - we are simply human. If Yar'Adua has offended you personally, you are required according to the bible you are referencing, to forgive him and if you are filled with anger and an unforgiving spirit, does that make you a better person than Yar'Adua? Additionally, the gift of life comes from God alone - I assure you that you don't know whether you will out live Yar'Adua.  Check yourself before you come her to tell us what prayers God will or will not answer, olodo.
You need that big thing between your ears, containing mostly empty space, smacked upside-down and downside-up! Or, better still bitc.h-slapped to wake up from your state of stupor!

- No judgement has been passed in my comment.
- A sinner cannot get any extra privileges before God even if he is the president, assuming he did not steal it in the first place.
- Before he got into this condition, was he not pleased to kill thousands of people both in the ND and refusal to provide good hospitals in the state he governed for 8 years? Have you prayed for those who died because of his actions and inactions yet or is he better than them?
- There's nothing wrong if you shed your toga of ignorance by taking my advice to read your bible. Then, use your brain if you have any left for in fact, you come across as a lobotomized waste of space!
- The bible tells enough of what prayers God WILL NOT answer: deceitful, lying, in sin, cheating, evil, etc!
- God is not mocked for what a man sows, that shall he reap!

Baring all that, you will be digging your grave to get into insulting someone you don't know! I warned the ones who attempted this in the past, now it's your turn! You will be way out of your league rock-head and I show no mercy! You have been warned!

Read your Bible and in the meantime, use your brain for God gave you that brain and will not replace your non-use of it with prayers!

Wilfem:
Father Oh Lord, bless & sanctify our dear president who was beleived to have been smuggled into the country yesterday, after an order from to U.S to Saudi.
Father Lord, in case he's still alive, heal him and grant him the grace, confidence & the boldness to HONOURABLY RESIGN and if he was smuggled in dead, May his soul rest in peace.
Father Lord, deliver us from the hands of the evil ones like Turai & the CABALS. Amen and amen
You lack any iota of knowledge of the Person you are praying to assuming you are really praying to God. Prayers out of ignorance or a total vacation of your God-given brain will NEVER get answers! Read your Bible!

Politics › Nigeria - The Final Verdict (must Read!) by CyberG(op): 12:41am On Feb 25, 2010
The Final Verdict

With the recent unfolding of events in Nigeria, progressively going from worse to worst and beyond. . .there is ONLY ONE WAY OUT of this collosal problem called Nigeria - The disamalgamation of the North and South or better still, a total break-up of Nigeria into sovereign countries! Why is this? Truth is it doesn't matter for how long this farce of One Nigeria continues, it is TOTALLY unsustainable! The North cannot and will not forever be able to hold Nigeria and the resources it does not generate by the jugular while lording it over the South that lays the golden egg and nurtures the hen, or, indeed over every other part of the country!

The break-up could be by choice (the least cost option) while a violent break-up will consume Nigeria, in a short while if the unfolding events continue at any pace like we have seen recently! A military coup though unlikely because Lt. General Dambazu (the COAS) is being blackmailed as he is a corrupt bastard too. . .will be inevitable on the long run! If the establishment takes power in a such a coup, these same problems will repeat itself until Nigeria is broken either peacefully or forcefully by war! This is totally unavoidable! The alternative is true democracy which will not happen until Nigeria totally upholds a fair and true constitution of the people, fiscal federalism (resource control) and a healthy competition among its several states! The Northern hegemony does not see itself capable of surviving this way and is totally unable and unprepared to compete on this terms. Hence, it seeks to preserve the hegemony!

The Niger Delta militants will NOT accept any more amnesty after the initial one. . .they will fight to the death! If one of their own Goodluck Jonathan, co-elected into office cannot be president by the unjust and unfair 1999 constitution, they will never be able to get past this and accept any explanation. A near total breakdown of peace will consume the Niger Delta bringing Nigeria down on its knees economically. Obviously, without money, no state can function and Nigeria is totally unable to cope without oil exports which is the main stay of its revenue. The Nigerian State will attempt to continue a hold on the oil resources and hundreds of thousands of the Niger Deltan fighters and citizens may die but the Nigerian Forces will be much depleted with growing disaffection in its ranks, enough to cause a mutiny! All these will not favor the Nigerian state, which will still point to a bitter breakup!

After this violent breakup, the Niger Delta, Ibos and Yorubas will make progress at very great cost indeed! The Niger Delta because of its lack of infrastructure and destruction of the existing ones, the Ibos and Yorubas would be slightly better for though their reserves of oil are not as significant, their better education, training, work attitude and a competitive spirit will be of immense benefit for them to start on their own. The old Nigerian country will need these three and their resources for a long time to come or permanently! Their economies will lead and future aggression against them by the North (or northern interests) will be completely impossible for they will be totally superior in manpower, planning, strategy and modern warfare!

The north may do well only after several years of hard work it has not done ever since, lots of education and a lot of its economic output will go to other nations to buy the goods and services it is unable to produce and desperately needs: food, fuel/energy, education, healthcare, etc. While the hordes of educated Yorubas and Ibos will return to give their new countries useful and invaluable boost and head-start, the North will be totally lacking such support. To achieve a semblance of equality in manpower both in quantity and quality will be almost impossible. The North will be in a vulnerable position as any aggression unto any of its previous neighbors that are now independent and more powerful economically and militarily will bring very grave consequences and destruction. It may only have some hope by hinging unto aid from Islamic countries (and other countries) for survival both in war and peace time.

The Middle Belters will not have it good if they go with the North! They will be oppressed and repressed in the lands of their ancestors because of the cumbersome yoke of the Caliphate. If they choose to stand on their own, they will fare much better than the North but will have a long way to stand on a near equal footing with their neighbours in the South. The other option is to go with the southerners but only with a good understanding between them will friction be avoided in future.

In the years to come, most of the southern parts of Nigeria will be highly developed, advanced and sophisticated BUT this WILL ONLY be possible on the grounds of OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP at all LEVELS! This may seem easy and YES it is, but it will be the WATERLOO of the new countries if BAD PRECEDENCE in LEADERSHIP and FOUNDATION is laid!

. . .The Oracle.

Look, Jonathan is either TOO afraid he might be killed if he asserts himself or is JUST TOO STUPID like YaraMAGGOT! The effigy called Yaradua will be the element giving him "instructions" on what he must do through the "MEDIUM" Turai. . .
