Great documentary. |
Na wa o, i tire for this country, what kind of nonsense is this, instead of focusing on the horrendously pathetic public school system in the state, they are focusing on segregating male and female, how are the students then supposed to compete with each other in class to get the best out of them. This is the same hypocritical religion where pedophilia is practiced, where old creepy men can take wives as young as 14 and impregnate them, yet they are complaining about teenage pregnancy in schools. May God deliever us from that religion. NO COUNTRY CAN EVER REACH ITS POTENTIAL BY MARGINALIZING ONE GROUP AGAINST THE OTHER. |
ONE NIGERIA FOR LIFE. LONG LIVE THE GREAT CITIZENS OF THIS GREAT NATION. LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA |
I agree with you man. |
White People Wants Obama Deadwhat's with the broad generalization? Afterall, who were majority of the people who voted him into office hint hint its not African Americans who are only 13% of the population. |
I do not believe in hitting women but there are some women in naija whose behavior is like Reese Witherspoon's in the movie "Election". |
I can't believe it!!!!!!!! i went to the same school with chika chukwumerije. unbelievable. wow, this is stunning, i cannot remember him ever doing taekwondo when he was in secondary school. |
The bible says that "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity". |
IQ is something you develop guys. I know some people are born with it but majority develop it by working there butts off. |
man, those girls are beautiful. |
For real, we should start instituting stringent laws to protect women from domestic abuse. |
Typical naija mentality, always blame the victim. Its like blaming a woman for being raped because she was wearing so called "revealing" or "skimpy" outfit or giving the usual excuse, "she asked for it" or "she loved it". PATHETIC MENTALITY, ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. |
I am a strong christian my man and that has nothing to do with Nigeria's poor education, infact, there are lots of Christian science students from Caltech to MIT and this does not make them any less smarter, so i think blaming religion on Nigeria's pathetic educational system, even the bible says that "the foolishness of God is wiser than man" If expenditure is so low, then an increase in expenditure would be the right path to solving the problem.WORD |
ok, if you don't merge the states into regions, then the fed. govt. SHOULD STOP PAYING NON-FED. GOVT. EMPLOYEES , this includes the state govs. and ministers, they should raise money by taxing there constituents. I read in the Guiness book of records some time ago that Nigeria was the second lowest in the world in terms of spending on Education (we spend 0.6% of our GNP on education meanwhile we allocated a lot more to Agriculture and paying the bureaucracy e.g govs, sen., and perm. secs.), that's your idea of running a nation abi. I am a graduate of electrical engineering and I major in telecommunication and went back to school to major in software design. I have work for one of north America bank which was worth around $15 to 25 Billion, I have worked for several engineering company and even for the largest telecommunication company in canada. .Americans are beginning to realize that smaller is better, why do you think that they are downsizing so much and retrenching a lot of employees just to cut costs and save money. |
@jantavanta I would like us to discuss , if the rampant white-collar religious fundamentalism that has taken over the intellectual space of Nigerian universities, has contributed to the apparent creative inability of a Nigerian student. The only reason why the Nigerian student is not creative has nothing to do with religion but with lack of vision of our leaders on the matter of education. For example, all it takes to create a world class medical school is 120 million dollars. 20 mill. for the faculty and 100 mill for the hospital but we would rather spend the money on Tinapa despite the fact that the naija has an acute shortage of doctors leading to a high infant mortality rate. Mega powerful companies like Amgen and Genentech were started by college proffessors in the US, now they are multi-billion dollar corporations with over ten thousand employees, yet, the Nigerian govt. cannot see the emphasis of education. What a shame, i read in the Guiness book of records some time ago that Nigeria was the second lowest in the world in terms of spending on Education (we spend 0.6% of our GNP on education meanwhile we allocated a lot more to Agriculture and paying the bureaucracy e.g govs, sen., and perm. sec.), in fact, only war torn Liberia was ahead of us. The truth of the matter is that the more money you invest in your educational sector, the more you reap and THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION. |
I am just throwing this out there but Christy Onyali got an athletic scholarship to go to Texas Southern University. |
abeg leave the guy, he made a rational decision by rushing out, that's what even Saint Iker Cassillas would do so please leave him alone. In fact, it was Dele Adeleye who didn't run across to tackle Angel di Maria (Angel of Mary) instead of running straight at the goal keeper. Either way, they lads did a good job against the likes of players playing in Barcelona or Real Madrid. |
@tpia besides, they need to do something about their yams which they export abroad. You are a clown ha ha ![]() |
There is no shame loosing to the best team in the tournament. There was no excuses for this one. Argentina was the better team. |

@poster You must reeeeeeeally be a freak. You better stop this deviant behavior. Arrant nonsense. ![]() |
Tell your friends to stop carrying drugs then if they don't want that treatment. I took a geography class on globalization and it said that Nigeria was on the top 5 list of countries that lead the world in the drug trade (i think we were no. 3 on the list) which is funny because we don't grow "poppies" required to make this drugs. I also read in "the economist" magazine some time ago that the problem is soooooo huge that the US is about to give the Nigerian customs millions of dollars to install state of the art equipment to detect this guys better. |
Great post by siskil, but omo this this thing is scary, really, really scary. I know there were some freaky events that took place in the filming of "the passion of the christ", "poltergeist" and "the omen". Even julia stiles said that she started going to church after doing the remake of "the omen". I didn't know the two girls from "poltergeist" were dead. Wow, i am sooooooo stunned. |
wooooooooooooooooooooooow |
Man, a lot of naija people are ignorant about belgium but those boys are goooooood. They have specialists in every position and they have a lottttttt of speed, plus they are very comfortable with the ball. Now having said that, i hope our boys come through. |
@kaypound Thanks for the conspiracy theories, as if Nigeria is on the mind of the US. If you like keep decieving yourselves. |
@jantavanta Nigerian journalism is focused on sobriety and not sensationalism, partly because it is owned by the govt. Now if it were a corporate owned entity where the owners would love to make a profit, they would look for creative means to get the product out there, including using sexual images and anything that captures the humans imagination. |
