Politics › Re: Late Abba Kyari With His Beautiful Family (Photo) by deavicky(m): 7:13am On Apr 19, 2020 |
Simplyleo: Human beings who have held reasonable positions of substance in the affairs of this country at one time or the other have commiserated on the death of COS to the president. Gej Atiku FFK Reno and a host of others too numerous to mention.
The useless inconsequential rants and curses of little things like ipob e-rats behind social media are of no meaning.
To console their wacked perennial upbringing of hate anger and perdition, the useless rats say "majority of Nigerians" instead stating the reality "ipob miscreants". One of the rats is even saying Buhari is the next. Even if Buhari drop dead today, he has lived a life many NIGERIANS pray for, which may not be possible.
RIP sir, Abba Kyari, and may God grant your family, friends and loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss. you don't seem to get it. If that man had done well I'm not sure people would be saying all sorts of things about him. Look at the circumstances that lead to his contracting the virus, it's an example of something. they said he went to Germany to discuss with a company on how we can can get power mean while he is not the minister of power. If a good man dies today and people begin to speak ill about that person prosperity will judge them. Take a look at president Mandela of south Africa when he died, hope u remembered the reactions of people, both the once that knows him and the ones that doesn't know him. A good life speaks for itself but it's unfortunate that none of our leaders or politicians today that can boost of that. |

In my small opinion the North shouldn't shut down if they have an alternative to combating the virus, because if they shutdown, the hunger people are shouting now will become times 3. The only price of food stuffs that seems normal at the market right now are the once from the north. U can check that out if u do not agree with me. |

Family › Re: My Landlord Does House Chores For His Children, Fetches Water For Them by deavicky(m): 10:19pm On Apr 09, 2020 |
Micky002: There is this scenerio i usually observe with my landlord and his children which always makes me curious and also raises unanswered question within me. This prompt me to post this here.
My landlord is idoma by tribe and has six grown up children, three boys and three girls. He should be in his late fifties or early sixties. Here is the issue.
This man despite having grown up boys and girls always do his chores by himself while the children will be lazying around engaging in trivial discussions. This man will wash his clothes by himself while his girls, the youngest being twenty years of age will be chatting with friends in the compound. This man will go to fetch water with kegs using a wheel barrow every morning while the boys will sit outside doing nothing.
Meanwhile the water he fetches is used by every member of the house. This man can go up to three to four trips while the boys will be busy arguing about Manchester United and Chelsea with friends.
What baffles me the most is that they see nothing wrong in this because the man doesn't complain and his wife, their mother is also witnessing everything.
My question now is, is this an acceptable norm in their (Idoma) culture? For a father to be doing the house chores while the children will be playing. I'm asking because where I come from, it is unacceptable. because I'm from that axis I know a little about the Idomas an average Idoma man is an "Italian"(meaning he no send) he can not do what his wife should do let alone doing that of his children. I put it to u that that particular man is under the influence of something. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Covid-19 Relief Items From My Church This Morning by deavicky(m): 1:25pm On Apr 09, 2020 |
SirL0neWolf: So the plan is;
- Foodstuffs were sent to strategic families placed in different areas for easy distribution to other church members within the area.
Because where I live is easily accessible to most families around my area, I was chosen as a kind of depot.
Items received; 2 bags of rice, 1 bag of beans, 20 crates of eggs, carton of tin tomatoes, Sphagetti, indomie, 2 cartons of sardines, 2 cartons of cooking oil
I’ve already received calls from some families who’ll be coming to pick up their items once the curfew is over for the day. So I’ll simply draw an inventory where they sign after receiving the foodstuffs
A big shout out to my pastor for being a caring man of God and leading by example.
Note; This is the second batch I am receiving in two weeks. chief u don already take ur own because I can see that the indomie is not complete. |

JAMO84: All these fake news and campaign of calumny are the products of Ipob ( not all Igbo) and the miserable, unfortunate and eternally useless Poverty Development Party.
When BH kill our soldiers, they rejoice and spread the news faster than 5G, but when our army kill BH, they say it's audio.
GOD punish, destroy, mutilate, shred, cremate, dismantle, destroy, demolish and demystify the lives of Boko Haram, their sponsor, their supporters and all those who silently wish they continue what they are doing just so they can ridicule this government at the expense of our soldiers and citizens lives!!!
I AM DONE TALKING I'm convinced that something is wrong with my country men not the country itself. When people see black and try to turn it to white. The IPOB members u are Insulting are not the prey of Boko harm it is the northerners that gets the impact more but if y say u are ok with the way Boko harm are being handle in Ñigeria, well what can I say than telling u to enjoy. |

honestly most Nigerians never took this whole Covid-19 serious, even OBJ said it’s not in Nigeria, Chai Ecuador, God rest the soul of the dead and heal the sick/afflicted
Nigeria seriously there sense in what OBJ says, because if really this stuff has entered Nigeria, considering the number of contact an average Nigeria makes in a day and our poor medical services a lot of persons would have died since the first case was recorded. Except our immune system suppress it. |
