Saw it coming. This may not be a matter of weeks but of days. They have signed the deal already. |
Some Oil Ministry and NNPC officials have been bursting and draining our monies away into their pockets. Now village boys have started bursting pipes to steal oil. The two categories are culpable and should be penalized accordingly. Dont leave out any of the two! |
Cowards....Why did they not go after the speaker? Why go after the innocent old woman? |
The comment made by the gentleman is completely off tangent. What manner of 'security expertise' is this? Soon we will have someone call himself a nuclear expert just because he knows how to mix kerosene with diesel! |
Speechless! |
Clueless! Is this another 2015 carrot? |
Keshi - Is this how you want to win AFCON? Yaya ko, Sule ni! As for Real Madrid - A house in shambles.....they should get up quickly and manage their differences. |
One day one day, the Nigerian state will rise up and take back what belongs to it! |
J12: Messi is fortunate to be playing in a very compact team like Barca for a very long time. This helped him alot, he can't outshine other attackers in the world if he played in another team. He has been able to develop and improve on his overall performance rapidly because of the barca system.Thank you for mentioning Maradona, the man who publicly admitted that Messi is greater than him (Maradona)! But I agree with you that Barcelona team has helped Messi. It is also true that Messi has helped the Barcelona team. He likes to assist his team mates, and may be that is why he always get the edge against CR7 when players vote! |
CR7 is already talking of abandoning Madrid just because their chances of winning the league is slim. If he does that, he may never get nominated for Ballon Dor again. His friend should advise him. Good players stay loyal, in thick and in thin. He should learn from Messi, Iniesta, Gerrard, Terry, Casillas, and others. Stay where you are celebrated and not where you are tolerated. Basic rule of life. I wish you well. |
So many people here that have no understanding of football. At any rate, the coaches, managers and captains who understand football have voted MESSI the winner. That settles it. History has shown that Nigerians are never good voters. They refused to vote AWOLOWO and later called him the best president that never was. They refused to vote Buhari, Utomi, Ribadu and they are now lamenting everyday on NL for voting GEJ. Poor folks. Always getting it wrong and admitting it later. MESSI, carry on. There is no one that has mastered football at this point in time like you have done. GOD bless Messi. More caps and more records, please. And of course, more votes from people who know the game of Soccer. |
NL and the folks behind it, I really hope that you do not overstep your bounds. This is a general comment. I wish you will retrace your steps quickly. I pray you obtain mercy! Remember that God says that he will be an enemy to the enemies of His children. Read Exodus 23. As for the man of God, please listen to his message and just don't quote him out of context. He was not preaching about himself in any way and only encouraged people not to answer names that work against them, and just humorously used his own experience as an example. He spoke extensively about the name of Jesus as the Way..Please get the message and listen. |
emma bowin: Has anyone seen ronaldo in tears before,if not please watch the balon d'or tonight.for he will certainly cry tonight.Wont be surprised if he and his boss fail to attend, like they did in 2012! But there is no denying the fact that he is a great player. |
If there is going to be a surprise, I doubt if that surprise will be CR7. |
Ran ka dei dei Hajiya! The feofles of this state suffort your goperment! carry on, in pact the feofles want you in Pederal gopment as pirst lady in twenty pipteen! |
What exactly qualifies you to win this award? Individual brilliance, I believe! So what has winning World Cup or league got to do with it? Why are you guys not mentioning Aguero ![]() |
Leave this lady alone! |
Well, at any rate, and irrespective of the outcome of Ballon Dor, Ronaldo is such a great player and one of the best in the world! |
Like Ronaldo like Balotelli - Why always me? The smart man in Real Madrid is already looking for a replacement for him! In a few hours, the people that truly know football will vote. I personally wont be surprised if Messi or Iniesta wins. These two have shown maturity, team work, high level of professionalism and they do not brag too much about it. Iniesta has helped his country win both World Cup and European Cup, which are both spectacular and which CR7 does not come anywhere close to. My take on it is this - If Messi does not win, then it should be Iniesta. CR7 has already awarded himself his own personal Ballon Dior by writing those things on his own boot! He is not even Number 2 in my opinion! |
donsteady: and your pastors are cruising in private jet. i swear you need external brainThere is no mention of giving your life to a pastor! Jesus Christ is the answer. No one should judge anyone who is cruising in private jets. Let God be the judge. It may just be that some people will enjoy the best on the earth and enjoy eternity with God in heaven, because they have believed Christ, while those who neglect the gift of Christ will miss the good things of this life and God forbid that they also miss heaven. Brother, get your G55AMG if you can afford it, but by all means get Christ. Salvation will cost you NOTHING. Jesus has paid for it all. |
In 2013, give your life to Christ very early. Dont get distracted by Cars. Keep eternity in view. |
How many houses does his predecessor in Bayelsa Government House have? |
A fighter in the making. Too much in a hurry to get into the world. |
I still de laugh! |

ballabriggs: Oga air travel is no luxury in the developed world. There are no frills airlines such as easyjet and ryanair to serve the low income earners. In addition millions of discounted tickets are sold annually by the premium airlines if you book early enough. With 50 pounds you can get a BA ticket from Gatwick to Edinburgh which is less than the cost and travel time of a train ticket.I am by no means suggesting we should ignore air transport, but you will get far more options if you develop rail very well. Our problem in Nigeria is that we want to run before we walk. That is why we can spend N16 billion building a new house for VP and keep 11 jets in the Presidential fleet in a country where you cannot comfortably travel Lagos to Benin by rail! A small passenger jet that can carry 100 people will cost USDollars 200 million to acquire. 30 of those will cost USD6 billion = N900 billion Naira. Do tha math. Except maybe FG wants to acquire 1976 Russian made planes! If you have N900 billion you will be able to provide enough guarantee for private sector to revolutionalize rail transport in the country. |
Elueme: Must you be a sadist? And who telLs you that you have a superior thought . We have more traffic with air moDe of transportation than the rail which is in the evolving phase with the latest commissioning. The fact that ithe proposed policy may not benefit you much( maybe you don't fly) doesn't make it not popular. Learn to talk sensibly.mrkels may have a good point. effective rail transportation is the catalyst for growth. USA, Europe all grew on the back of rail revolution. with rail, there is no elaborate check-in, and all those time wasting things. Millions of Britons travel everyday by rail across the country. Millions of tons of cargo are freighted by rail everyday. Air travel is a luxury if you have an effective rail system. If I can travel from Marina to Abuja in 3 hours by fast train, and cheaper, I will rather do that, rather than waste all the time first travelling to the airport and waiting endlessly to check in. That aside, airlines, pilots, systems are structured along specific aircraft types. Some airlines do not have experience with Boeing equipment, so why would government buy Boeing for those ones? will this be a dash? Who are the beneficiaries? Will it be a loan? Can you force a loan on a private company? Tow many questions demanding answers. Let us not behave or think like illiterates. |
Strange...How do they know the types of aircraft the airlines are able to manage? To buy new aircraft you need to place your order at least 2 years ahead. What is FG talking about now? Can they give some details please? IS it that people in government have stopped thinking? |
earthgreeners: Can anyone here list Fashola's policies that are anti-people?.IF LP can put its house together quickly they can clinch Lagos in 2015. They just need to find a 'Mimiko' that will defeat 'Asiwaju'! Period. |
The first day of a new year offers another opportunity to start afresh with new dreams and with utmost prayers to make the next twelve months fulfilling. we should be positive at such an opportunity. Particularly, we should embrace God. With God...all things are possible. |
