Family › Re: How Do I Forgive Him? by delpee(f): 11:38pm On Oct 24, 2022 |
Dear lady, if you want a father figure for your children as stated, you need to forgive your husband. The other option is to harden your heart and focus on being a single mother. Sincerely, I think you should forgive and know how best to handle your finances if you still don't trust him. However, there's nothing wrong with helping your husband with your money. You're partners in marriage and your children benefit spiritually and physically from whatever you do. We're supposed to be helpmates as designed by God. Just be circumspect about it since some men choose to act like demons. If you build a house together, insist on registering in both names not just Mr and Mrs XYZ. Any woman is automatically Mrs except your names are clearly stated. I'm happy that there's no domestic violence involved. You should be able to jointly build a good home for your kids if you can forgive and restrategise. |

I remember the stations burnt and some barracks invaded. May all departed souls rest in peace. May their families be comforted and cared for by God Almighty. Thankfully, it seems LASG compensated the concerned families.
Very sad indeed for all those affected one way or the other. Hopefully the Police will learn to be our friends indeed and our people will show less criminal tendencies, so we can usher in a new era of peaceful cohabitation and mutual self respect.
It really does take two to tango. |

DashHaulageltd: For a lot of people who do not know much about the apprentice system, I’d explain further for you. The boy who serves his oga is actually not allowed by law to have money till he finishes learning his trade and gets settled to start his own. It’s therefore assumed that whatever money the boy used in this situation to play the bet belongs to his boss. His winning should actually entirely go to the boss if he was a selfish man. Asking for equal sharing is valid and no one should feel cheated here. Is there usually a written agreement to that effect? |

Mickykarim: PDP ONL MOCKED ITSELF BY THE SIMPLE FACTS OF THE REALITY ON GROUND.
PARTICIPATION IN ELECTIONS IS NEITHER MANDATORY AND OR NECESSARY FOR ANYONE. IT IS VOLUNTARY AND OR BY CHOICE.
People who do learn from history have themselves to blame, usually.
BOYCOTTING ELECTIONS IS AT ANYONE’S PERIL WHO CHOOSES TO IGNORE AND NOT PARTICIPATE IN WHAT WOULD AFFECT ONE’S LIFE AND OR FORTUNES.
Any election grounded in STATUES will always hold and stand except there is no will on the part of the organizers and government for the exercise.
PEOPLE STAYING AWAY FROM ELECTIONS IS A REGRETABLE OPTION, WHILE ELECTIONS WILL ALWAYS HELD WITH OR WITHOUT THEM. THE BOYCOTTERS ARE THE GREATEST LOSERS IN THE CONTENDING SCHEME OF THINGS.
The local government election will hold and there would be winners declared and there would be local governments chairmen and councilors in the state of Osun and opposition people can go SULK and WEEP in the corners of their rooms. Including KICK WHINE and WIMPERS all they like.
FOR AS LONG AS THE EXERCISE WAS BOTH LEGITIMATE AND STATUTORY! Please explain how they arrived at the results using the ballot paper displayed here. I really want to understand this new election process. |

Romance › Re: As A Young Lady, Would You Rather Build With A Man Or Marry An Already Made Man? by delpee(f): 10:25am On Oct 14, 2022 |
The main reason why many young ladies are not ready to build with men now is probably because of what they witnessed growing up. There were many cases of loving, kind and diligent women who jointly built their homes gladly only to be abandoned for other ladies in latter years. A child or relative who grows up seeing this will not opt for "Surulere" (there's reward in patience) when there's "Olorunsogo" (Abundantly blessed by God).
I don't subscribe to that because I go by the teachings of Proverbs 31 for women. Still, I understand why others see things differently. Men need to be more trustworthy and reliable to gain the trust and respect of women. Yes, I know there are irresponsible women but a lot more women will do the right thing if they see real change in men's behaviour.
Some women pray not to marry men like their fathers. That speaks volumes. |
Family › Re: Once Husband And Wife Sleep In Different Beds, The Marriage Is Almost Over ..... by delpee(f): 10:01am On Oct 14, 2022 |
Couples have different rooms for a variety of reasons some of which are: 1. Need for space - some women need a whole room for their stuff 2. Lifestyle- some watch TV till late while the other wants to study/pray quietly 3. Habits, natural occurrences- snoring, restlessness while sleeping, one being a light sleeper who is easily disturbed etc 4. Childbirth accompanied by sleepless nights 5. Individual tastes - some sleep with the lights on while the other sleeps better in darkness. Etc The important thing is the love between them which should ensure easy access to either room at all times. Most couples often sleep in either room or as is convenient anyway. Those who separate rooms to maintain distance from each other are the ones with problems. |

LocalStandard1: If you are not Yoruba I don't think you should speak for them. Yorubas would prefer a country together with the Core North, I am from KD and I know what I am telling you.
In Kaduna the Yorubas reside with Hausas in the Northern side while the Igbos and other Southerners reside with us in the Southern side, but we usually meet in markets and schools though. I had a Yoruba friend that never even crossed the Kaduna river to go to the South, he was surprised when I took him to Sabon Tasha I saw it in his eyes and actions. Those are Yorubas who were mostly born and bred in the North. Some of them don't even relate with their own people down here. Their opinion or actions can't be used to judge the entire Yorubaland. Many here and in the diaspora are more interested in Yoruba nation if it is achievable or restructuring and good governance by whosoever can make it possible. No sentiments really. |
