@OP
If you know his family name and the town he comes from, you can find out who he is.
Be careful though. In places where the first son is the sole beneficiary or very important in the scheme of things, your appearance could provoke a battle. Remember that he has other children who probably don't know of your existence. |

Express your feelings to your maternal grandparents or a close Uncle/Aunty. You can't judge your mum for her attitude but you need to solve your problem.
I know someone who got to know his dad through his grandfather. His dad was invited to his grandpas house without the knowledge of his mum initially. A close Aunt joined them to give his mum's perspective of their issue so he could explain to his son and seek his forgiveness. They're all happy about the reconciliation. Both families turned up at his wedding like a big happy family and he's now close to his dad. |

I thought maybe when we stabilise him a little then I can quickly arrange for introduction but sadly my beloved Dad passed away 4days later
I have been crying endlessly and been so weak and saddened just this morning this girl I was planning on spending the rest of my life with chatted me up saying that she has looking at me since that I don't want to say anything concerning her Christmas things that she needs 50k to buy Christmas things. I was shocked to the bone haaaa why are you this heartless towards me? Does it mean you are not concerned about what I have been passing through, infact I don't want to speak more because God already saved me from a heartless lazy woman.
To the women in this forum is it right to ask your fiancee Christmas Money in the midst of seeing him mourning of his late Dad just few days his dad died this attitude of this girl is it right? You don't have a fiancee yet. You give due consideration to character before getting to that stage. Condolences to you on your sad loss. RIP to your dad. |

Miracles happen! Perhaps we need a NASS that has real diversity to change the narrative in our country. I don't support any of the candidates as at today. Just thinking about drastic options that can move the nation forward. Corruption needs to be killed or seriously minimised for Nigeria to grow and for better welfare for our people. |

blink: I just like the christian on Nairaland to help me throw more light to this, I once had my tithe with me when someone walked up to me for an assistance to discharge her family from hospital. After confirming that it's true, I just dropped my entire tithe to pay the bill and believe I had paid my tithe but somehow I was told that since I didn't drop it in the church am yet to pay my tithe. Be guided by the Holy Spirit always. Learn to hear from God in the Spirit. It's the most important thing when taking decisions. Listening to people's personal opinions can derail you. Remember that it's God's purpose for your life that must be fulfilled. |

ENGLISH TRANSLATION CHARACTER Enhance your character, my friend, Prosperity could depart from one’s home, And beauty could retreat from people’s bodies. Today’s rich could become poor tomorrow, Opulence is like ocean’s surfs; it is like ocean’s waves, They come and go from one’s home as they please; But, only good character follows one to the grave. Money is not everything to anyone, Good character is the beauty of a mortal, What if you are wealthy without good character? Who would trust you with something serious? Perhaps, you are a gorgeous woman, If you are far from societal norms, Who would marry you as a wife? Or you are a fraudulent person, May be you are well educated; Who would transact business with you? Enhance your character, my friend, In the absence of character, education is a waste; The whole world appreciates a well-mannered person. _Poetry by the late Chief J.F. Odunjo, renowned Yoruba playwright, poet, politician, and statesman – from one of his popular Alawiye series._ This poem was recited in those days by primary school children in the old Western Region. OmoOdua3: You guys should try to at least do some research before rushing to comment.
One of the said Monarchs mentioned is Mr Gboyega Famodun. His Coronation was rushed within the last 1 week after it became totally clear that Oyetola wasn't coming back. They were hoping on another Supreme Court Governor, but that didn't materialize.
Who is he? Up till the time of his Coronation barely 6 days ago, he was the Osun State Chairman of APC. Are you still wondering about what was going on?
His Father (Adelani Famodun) was the Owa (King) of Igbajo before the last one (Retired Major Femi Fashade) died 2 years ago. The throne is rotated among 5 Families. So, how could it be his/his Family's turn? These Politicians want to turn everything to Emilokan. Not his turn (Oun ko lokan).
The same thing that happened in Igbajo was replicated in the 2 other Towns (Iree and Ikirun. These 3 Towns (as well as Ada and Iragbiji - Tinubu`s Home Town) are in the same Vicinity - barely 5 to 8 Kilometers separating each of them.
These Politicians are subverting not only our Traditional Institutions, but all other aspects of our lives. I really don't understand Nigeria's so-called Democracy. It is too destructive.
The quickly Installed Permanent Secretaries were clearly warned 5 days ago of the consequences of accepting the would-be Appointments.
And, how can you start employing thousands of unnecessary Workers after you lost your reelection? Insanity!
Kudos to Adeleke! Remove all the Boobytraps planted by Oyetola before commencing actual Governing Work. Long live Osun State!
Most times, it is really tiring explaining things on Nairaland. It's like rushing to comment is more important than everything else. Thanks for the detailed explanation. |
