I passed by Simpson Rd (Sura) on the Island recently and I saw the last two on display. Certainly you'll get them in some other local markets too. Elephant Group is in Ikeja. |

wacuc0: This could be in the other way round. With much local industries coming up competition among them will be much and price will surely go down and quality improved without much chemicals and preservatives as it is in foreign rice. Coscharis industries has done a great job https://www.nairaland.com/5413243/automated-coscharis-rice-mill-igbariam , Olam group is doing great in rice expansion so for others too. It will be better soon. As I said earlier the brewing industry did it, music industry did it other sectors can do it. Exactly! |

Please I need good recommendation from (expert rice eaters) those who know the real difference between horrible, bad, fair, good ,very good and excellent rice. I am used to short grain less starch rice. Thanks Try Big Bull or Mama Pride. Available in the market or Spar stores. Also there's a brand from Kano being sold at Palms (Game) if you're in Lagos. |

9jahotblog: Even the so called Nigeria rice are all full of Stones. They never improve on their production yield but can enforced total shut down on our land borders. The rate of appendicitis symptoms will increased tremendously in our various hospitals for this stones and tares in the rice. Very bad . Buy Big Bull, Mama Pride (Spar) or one from Kano being sold at Game (if you're in Lagos). They're well milled local rice without stones. Some stone free local rice are also available in the market now. Abakaliki, Ekiti, Nassarawa, Kebbi, Ofada and Ilesa rice are good too. Let's patronise our farmers. Besides, our rice is far more nutritious and fresh. |

Kidnapping children for sale is most disheartening and a terrible crime which deserves condemnation and serious punishment. They probably got converted superficially when they were sold to non Muslims. East, West, South or North, Christian or Muslim, it's the height of wickedness for anyone to pick up another person's child for sale.
This goes hand in hand with the baby factory issue. It's time to make legal adoption more popular. Maybe that will reduce the urge to abduct other people's children. That's assuming they're not being sold into slavery. |

How can local rice be 17k for 50kg when rice all the away from Asia costs 7 to 8k for 50kg when there was no ban on rice importation... Imported Asian rice is very stale! It has to be cheaper. Our rice is fresh and more nutritious. With higher rate of production, the price will come down. |

Somebody should pls explain to me The write up is about the Benin border. Residents nearby are mostly Yorubas. The Cameroon and Niger borders will have smugglers of different tribes in their localities. |

You should have contacted doctors/specialists to advise you on better ways to have your child. Probably you didn't want your wife to know about your inability to procreate but now your brother may disclose the secret or blackmail you continously.
Your wife may be informed someday. Why not open up to her (hopefully she doesn't get heartbroken) and then jointly work towards having another child with her some other way?
Pray...there's nothing too hard for God to do. |
Politics › Re: Ex Biafra Soldier Comforted By His Father Before Execution- Photo by delpee(f): 10:04pm On Oct 11, 2019 |
Certainly some innocent people were executed in error then. It has nothing to do with hatred for any tribe...rather the sometimes unfair legal proceedings and the absence of the prerogative of mercy.
Some drug merchants (not Igbos) were also convicted and executed based on a back dated law in the Buhari era. Unsuccessful coupists and suspected coup planners were also executed. All from different tribes.
Let's stop painting events in tribal colours. The story was touching. The tribal insinuation adds no positive value except to generate hate.
It should rather serve as a lesson for the engendering of a fair and equitable justice system for the good of all. |

As he has said many times, population control is necessary in the North. Having children that we can't care for is sinful. Unfortunately, people hide under the "go ye and multiply" mantra to breed without control. Sadly they forget to read or ignore the fact that God states in clear terms that our children are our responsibility. |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, events like this makes me ashamed to be associated with Christianity and sometimes I'm tempted to join Islam. Majority of the bastards we call pastors are wolfs in sheep clothing. Christianity habours so many madness. No Islamic cleric has been caught in this sexual mess because they are guided accordingly by the tenets of Islam. Is it a coincidence that 3 pastors have been disgraced in few months and many more to come? Islam will soon take over Nigeria cos shameful incidents like this will make many Christians convert to Islam Islamic clerics do the same. I've heard stories. It seems the lady is in exploration mood with her owambe friends. What I find ridiculous is her penchant for spending so much time with her friends (if true) to the detriment of her children.
Even if she's tired of the marriage, it's best to walk away quietly so she can live the life of her dreams. Sadly, she may later regret this especially with regards to the children.
@OP You need to take a decision promptly for your peace of mind and for the sake of the kids. No one deserves to be mentally stressed for the sake of peace. The children may be unhappy too and that is not good for their mental development.
Sit her down for a heart to heart discussion to know what she really wants. If your goals no longer rhyme and you can't reach a compromise, you should try to agree on the next line of action to suit both parties. |

Gerrard59: Please explain how "organic" tomatoes are "healthy and nutritious"? While on that, kindly explain how "organic's" mode of tomatoes cultivation can supply say Lagos' demand? There is nothing wrong consuming GM tomatoes and like it or not; with climate change, a skyrocketing population, land degradation, desertification and Boko Haram conflicts, GM is the answer. I've read enough about GMO foods, Monsanto etc to form a personal opinion which does not have to tally with yours. Besides I prefer organic foods. They're better for my personal health. Thanks. |

The school is a private school built by Christians albeit within the confines of a public institution. Some of the late Aare Musulumi's children attended the school without issues. There are so many Muslim and public schools in Ibadan. Why is it compulsory for a child to attend a private school with contrary views to hers? |
