Read Proverbs 31:10-31 |
willbayo:Get help immediately from drug rehab centres or the Psychiatric Hospital. Note that it's not only insane people that are treated there. Normal people with temporary issues arising from drug abuse or emotional trauma are well managed there. If possible, confide in a parent. It's nothing to be ashamed of. People make mistakes. The important thing is to make amends as soon as possible. I pray that you get back on track very soon. Time waits for no one and there's a lot to do to fulfil your divine purpose on earth. I wish you the very best. May God guide you. |
One wonders why there's usually an attempt to keep this terrible situation out of the news. Same thing Senator Bruce pointed out. The Borno axis is still not totally at peace. Taraba, Benue, Plateau, Kogi and Nassarawa have issues. Edo, Delta and Enugu and others have their farms destroyed often. It seems Nigeria is at war but we're all burying our heads in the sand pretending that all is well or believing that things will change even as no concrete efforts are being made to save us from the unknown gunmen. |
There was another story indicating that the man was framed for political reasons. Something similar to what Senator Sani spoke about lately. Unfortunately I don't have the details. Anyone who knows the other story should update us please. |
Edu3Again:He complained according to reports. |
Brilliant girl! God bless her much more. |
There's fire on the mountain.....in Asa's voice. |
By the way, she should convince her boys to return Leah Sharibu and the remaining Chibok girls. Their return to civilisation will prevent them from having to use sand and ashes. Her role as Mama Boko Haram which she confidently speaks about still baffles me. If you know the root of the problem, why dance around it always instead of finding a permanent solution? ![]() |
Her foundation can be of help. Northerners need to help each other more. The gap between the rich and poor is extremely wide up North. Unfortunately the Boko Haram insurgency and herdsmen crisis has only worsened matters. I feel sorry for Northern women because they bear the brunt of the crisis. They're the ones who get kidnapped by terrorists most of the time. It's just so sad. |
Only 6 looters ruined the nation...Interesting! |
DIKEnaWAR:A girlfriend or baby mama can do the same. We've seen a few cases here in Nigeria lately. Pray and work towards having a good life partner. |
This is terrible! It's not by force to stay married abi. Sometimes men make such mistakes in periods of over confidence or indiscretion. It's wise to understand the circumstances and then pray for wisdom to deal with it rightly. Worst scenario, she could have walked away if the man chose to move on with another woman. Now she'll lose her life while the other woman and her child live on. Foolish woman! |
At least the era of thuggery and NURTW vicious wars are over in Oyo state. There's significant development too whichever way we look at it. Hope the next government will build on this foundation. |
I pray that you succeed. |
If only our youth will wake up to their responsibility. The future lies in their hands. |
People should be smart enough to understand that the acceptance of gifts from their leaders should not be cloud their views at election time. After all it's a case of "owo Abu la fi se Abu lalejo." (It's your money that's being spent on you.) |
APC certainly needs strong opposition in Lagos. Other parties show up only at election time. PDP is a total mess. We can't continue with governance this way. It's simply unsustainable. |
I'd rather have a young President in 2019. Recycled people should go and rest. I'm tired of the nation rotating in circles. Go get your PVCs! Be active, join new and viable alliances/parties. Work from the grassroots. Hard work pays over time. |
The problem is that urbanisation is limiting their habitat. Years ago, monkeys and crabs were a common sight in Unilag especially the area now occupied by New Hall and some other bushy areas. Exterminating them isn't a wise solution. We need to maitain a good ecological balance. They should be taken to a conservation centre or forest areas. They should get in touch with Desmond Majekodunmi the conservation expert. |
Fine. They should work hard again to bring Leah back the same way. |
High school students in the US have taken their future into their hands by fighting to review laws that endanger their lives. Some of our future leaders who are unfocused are watching idle people waste their time on live TV. (Sorry, I don't watch so I don't know what happens there). Okay there's money to be won by one lucky fella at the end I'm told. Money inadvertently contributed by investing in airtime for voting! ![]() If only people think deeply. Our youth should wake up fast. The future is here! |
I wonder why they're not heeding Kano governor's advice that they should relocate to his state where there's adequate space for ranching. He's prepared to accommodate and support them. Miyetti Allah should encourage their members to discuss with Gov. Ganduje instead of looking for trouble on people's farms. |
I wish that someone can verify the existence of this Sergeant in the Nigerian Army. Otherwise it coulld be another moonlight tale. |
We're waiting.... |
May God deliver Leah from the terrorists. Amen |
Wow! Extreme poverty in our nation yet the few rich are flaunting their wealth recklessly. |
May God keep her safe and touch their hearts to release her. Amen |
We're planning to build a railway line to Niger Republic so we should expect more immigrants legal or not. |
Meanwhile we're spraying dollars, flaunting designer stuff, washing hands with Moet, holding billion naira events (people must take nau , buying the latest rides and private jets. We have mansions everywhere and talk about our 'hard work' and "grass to grace" experience even when everyone knows the funds are from our common purse. Dipping hands into the cookie jar (stealing) is not corruption abi. Everything borders on personal interest. We can't maintain our facilities and there's dearth of infrastructure. No light, no water, bad roads all over. We celebrate the commissioning of boreholes and are grateful for the little crumbs from the master's table. Just living life like there's no purpose for existence! Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen and various militant groups are making life difficult for citizens. Farmers must surrender their land for grazing. Students are perpetually worried about the next abduction. Parents are praying for their salaries and pensions. Young school leavers are searching for jobs and can't be helped by their poor parents. And so on.... How can we ever improve significantly in science and technology when we spend our valuable time thinking of how to solve problems we could have avoided simply by being focused on development and having the interest and progress of all at hand? Kudos to China. We can only dream about space travel for now. |
I hope this isn't true. |
