adegeye38: Divine grace, knowledge and research, hardwork, focus, opportunity, courage to get things done by all means, are all essential, and it has made me the owner of a multimillionaira business empire at the age 19. Nigeria as a whole is a goldmine of business and investment opportunities, they are lots of critical sectors you can invest in as an entrepreneur, ICT, CONSUMER FOOD PRODUCTION, TRANSPORTATION, ADVERTISING, SALES, AGRICULTURE(the most diverse of all, they are thousands of business opportunities in Agriculture) and so many others. it depends on hw you look at things a glass might be half full and also half empty, it depends on your orientation. But all in all hardwork with good reasoning, planning and doggedness always pays. Talks of destiny (also connected to religion) is all bullshit, gnorant and lazy people say to justify their foolishness, stupidity and lack of resourcefulness. Thats why our productivity is very low as a country. Greetings, I'm enthralled sir. May I have the singular honour of learning at ur feet sir? |

duni04: Your problem is that u think all the advise the guys have given u here is "hilarious" or "comic". You have no idea what you're walking into. Nigerian women are just for yanshing, absolutely nothing else! If you want to catch enough trips while on vacation, that's what Nigerian girls are for. Don't come here to look for wife! Oga pls don't! Chisos!!!!!..... |

And I suppose it's because of the presence of elements like u. if everyone has ur kind of mentality then the Nigerian dream will never work. Irrespective of the number of failed attempts, we just need to keep trying and not give up. |

africaken254: now if its was you,you had unlimited internet ,laptop, smart phone e.t.c you could stream all TV soaps or even download them, listen to your favourite songs, your internet speed is so good that you could download a series or movie in HD within 30 minutes.your hard drives is full of series, movies, songs e.t.c the internet connection in house is so good that you can Skype or snap chat video chat anytime, day or moment you want.now would you have time for your boyfriend or husband ? yes bro, I will cos nothing beats direct human communication. Little by little, Internet and mobile technology seems to be subtly destroying the meaningfulness of interactions we have with others, disconnecting us from the world around us, and leading to an imminent sense of isolation in today’s society. Instead of spending time in person with friends, we just call, text or instant message them. It may seem simpler, but we ultimately end up seeing our friends face to face a lot less. .....this in turn creates disintegration in relationships and makes us loose the human touch, I'm sure u will agree with me that this will be bad for our social lives. |

Family › Re: Why You Shouldn't Marry A Lady Raised By A Single Parent by Dfinex(f): 7:59pm On Sep 26, 2016 |
twinklestar: This write-up is an absolute nonsense created from a shallow and parochial observation. To declare a bleak future outlook and rubbish the marital aspiration of any lady due to her challenging background reeks of a repugnant thought process. It is thesame reprehensible, uncanny reasoning that has held back the development and consolidation of our national potentials across different ethinic lines. At best, your deductions and conclusion are very stereotyped I dey tey u ee. ....see finishing, lolsss. |

Swizdom: I completely know your write-up is wonderful, but it doesn't make sense to me. Every new graduate employed in a particular place must act like that; it is just normal. It is like telling a baby to use spoon to eat pap instead of sucking it through the feeding bottle. I believe everything has its time. With that time, they will learn and life will continue.
I just hate how everything in this life has to do with rules and more rules. Other than yours now, there are other rules many will still bring for these lovely graduates to embark on thereby compounding their lives. Rules help u to be accountable and avoid chaos, they serve as measures that guide ur focus on the accomplishments of ur goals....U sure won't like to pay for the mess that will be caused if we didn't have these guides. if we have rules, we in turn have freedom. Rules are a necessary evil. To the topic, yes it's normal for every fresh graduate to act that way but I'm sure u don't want to spend a greater chunk of ur training period learning in a snail speed, the organization will start seeing u as a laggard already. As a fresh graduate, u should learn to put ur best foot forward. Be smart, learn as much as u çan and as fast as u can cos nobody will come and baby sit u: even when they do, u'll get to discover that they only teach u a minute portion of what u are supposed to know. the rest they tell U. ..."to learn on the job". However/whichever way u want to do it is ur concern and if u ain't a fast learner, u would have made some grievous mistakes before u realize it. which in some cases may cost ur job or some benefits that would have accrued to u. (ignorance they say is never an ęxcuse). this is why u can not over-emphasize the points raised by the Op, especially 1,3,4,5 and 6. Even as a fresh graduate, u can be a smart staff and a fast learner: this will earn u the respect of ur boss and other members of staff. |
