ednut1:It is my experience that churchy girls, choir members or prayer unit members are the most promiscuous females in Christendom. In fact, the less churchy a girl is, the more compatible we are. Pastors are sleeping with choir members on Fridays and Saturdays, and climbing pulpits to speak in tongues on Sundays. If your girl is churchy, she's probably worse off - promiscuous yet pretentious. |
Ishilove:I meant that generally, not as a personalised reply. But you know that's true if you 'depersonalise' the people involved in this reply. Heck! We all know it's true. |
izzou:You tribalistic prick! You're Igbo, right, Izzou? How come you don't raise sentiments such as this when governors in the South West (Yorubas) and South South (particularly Akwa Ibom and Rivers State) appoint Igbos who are non-indigenes and not even married to indigenes as Special Assistants? In Ogun State, as far back as 2002 under Gbenga Daniel, Igbos were being appointed as SAs and SSAs, and nobody had issues. The story is the same in Lagos State, and the most recent popular case being Joe Igbokwe who is wholly Igbo. In Akwa Ibom State, under Godswill Akpabio (2007 to 2015) (who is married to an Igbo woman, Uloma Akpabio), SSAs and SAs who were Igbos were appointed and even Igbos drafted into our civil service. We were okay with it as they had lived in the state for donkey years and even speak the language, even though they married Igbos too and had Igbo names. Tribalistic folks like you who chestbeat on the internet is why we kicked all of them out of these positions and got them removed from the civil service because Igbo States refuse to reciprocate the gestures and goodwill. Arc. Victor Attah (1999 - 2007) who was Akwa Ibom State governor and Obasanjo's friend until the sharing formula for oil states fallout, was married to a white woman who couldn't even speak the language and wasn't one-tenth as immersed in the culture like the said Nwanyiocha is but was never treated less than the wife of the governor and was given the full powers as women leader of Akwa Ibom State. A non-Igbo even aspiring to be course representative in any university in Igboland would have his or her life threatened, and worse if you aspire for a key position in any of the SUGs. Continue breaking bridges instead of mending the ones your forebears broke with other tribes in Nigeria. You should ask yourself why an Ibibio man (the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria) or Ijaw man (of the fifth largest) is always three times as likely to be fingeréd to rule this country or benefit from the socio-politico-economics than the Igbo who's amongst the three largest ethnic group. You should ask yourself why every president is likely to take other tribes as key allies (including Jonathan and Buhari) but somehow skips over the Igbos. You should ask yourself why Asari Dokubo or Boy Loaf who have committed more atrocities than Nnamdi Kanu would ever think of are walking free why the later is in chains. Continue fanning the embers of hatred and discrimination then cry foul when others treat you the same way. We would keep watching. ![]() |
Kilishihunter:What we earn isn't as important as how we spend it. Bartomeu would have collected the €100 million then buy a blonde Aiyegbeni plus three newly-promoted La Masia players thrown into the deal. And there goes the €100 million. While Atletico would wait to snap up players on expired contracts from other top clubs then spread the €100 million on three top players. That's why arseholes like Alex Song can brag about coming to Barça to get free money while chilling with football's elite players. |
Ishilove:We all know this story. Once you can make a woman laugh, half the work is done. The next is getting your act together and you can have her if you want her. |
Ginalz8:Asides the Nairaland trolling and fun, I hope you don't type this "issa", "stewpid", "comu" and such dyslexic spellings when you face the real world and what puts food on your table. Since August 2021 to now - 6 months of typing like this daily and different hours of the day. I hope it doesn't affect you. |
Bola146:It's certainly not the beard, and his beard doesn't really qualify as a full beard. Mine is about the same size as Timaya's current beard style but better kept yet I've never had issues with it. Amongst the full-bearded bros, his is very moderate. |
Depsui:Nobody is forcing me into anything. I identify as a Christian. I follow biblical doctrines which do not contradict or negate the original scriptures. I believe in the existence of an intelligent creator or Supreme Being which many call God, Yahweh and the likes. But I am not religious. I am barely religious. Religion is a set of beliefs manipulated for an agenda by the gatekeepers. Not less than a cult. I'm more spiritual than religious or call me a cynical or critical Christian. I troll Christianity more than atheists but I ask theist questions atheists run away from, even on this forum. Crossover nights are meaningless spiritually in my opinion but it's more or less like a social gathering. And what's wrong with marking the beginning of the New Year with your woman on a happy note doing something which makes her happy like "praying for us and ours" and "holding hands" with her? It doesn't hurt in anyway and her intentions are good. |
ShaqFu:Happy new year, Joe! And to everyone on the list. |
silibaba:I'm more of a man that you'd ever be. Being an alpha male doesn't mean you should be cruel to YOUR WOMAN or not take her opinions into consideration. There's nothing effeminate about a woman who loves you wanting to spend the new year with you praying. Heck! She has prayer points listed. You are the simp who is professing love to a girl who would be in a club tonight slurping on the dîcks of random men while you send her money in the morning. Being an alpha male doesn't equate being a misogynist. SillyBaba! |
If it were up to me alone, I'd binge-watch a playlist of documentaries on YouTube but my lady wouldn't have any of that so we'd be attending church together. Apparently praying together for the new year is "powerful" and "effective", and I don't think it's wise to argue with your woman on something so trivial when it's completely avoidable. Attend church? No problem. |
gazza07:You should focus more on selling your Ankara and arguing with market women about herbs for fever at AriaAria Market instead dabbling into issues more complex that the neural mass in your cranium. |
gazza07:You should really be in Gaza dodging bullets like your moniker suggests. Whoever taught you how to use a smartphone did the internet a great injustice. |
poiZon:Are you 'saying' your president is a cûckold? She relocated to Dubai for months then retuned with an alleged pregnancy and Baba is accepting it? |
pu7pl3:You're a fool! Smell of Sunset was just the title of the song you posted a link to. There's no such diomatic expression as "Smell of Sunset" in any standard dictionary or literary collection. Your proof is a song title? You could argue any other thing like crypto and I wouldn't say much, but literature and literary pieces? Not in a gazillion years! No idiomatic expression like "Smell of Sunset", and you can only fool viewers who can barely express themselves with articulate lexicons to save their lives. You don't try to authorize a non-fact in a public domain. You'd be fact-checked. May a thousand hyenas feast on you for passing off falsehood as the truth! |
pu7pl3:You halfwit! You want to argue idiomatic expressions with me a lexical god who literally earns a living from also writing and stringing words together, and whose antecedence on Nairaland and elsewhere proof his wordbank is inexhaustible? There's no expression like "Smell the sunset". Not in this universe or in the next. When I'm around don't posit your idiocy or try to pass it off as true. You've never been intelligent or ever partook of any intelligent conversation on this thread or any other one. Cursed be the day a smartphone entered your hands. |
pu7pl3:Actually, you can't smell sunset or sunrise. It's impossible. Another mkpurummirian fallacy you keep spewing. |
Systrom:All the woes of the universe would befall you if you bring in innocent kids to suffer and die untimely due to that fleeting emotion you call love. If she's AS and you are too, and you can't afford gene selection, don't have kids. Don't. I've seen to many young people die of this hubris. Jesus isn't going to save you. |
izzou:Pep only coached a Barça B before coaching Barcelona, and winning trebles. Zidane only coached Real Madrid third division team before leading Madrid to glory. Xavi turned a bunch of camel herders to kicking the ball around like La Masia players and giving them an identity in Al-Sadd. Like Pep, he's a student of La Masia and Tiki Taka, and has the right temperament and leadership style. Xavi should do well. Maybe not win the UCL but he'd do well. |
izzou:Antonio Conte took less than two years to rebuild Chelsea from languishing at almost the button of the table, to surviving, to winning the EPL, and to competing in Europe again. And that was a Chelsea without an identity (only having one now under Tuchel). Pep Guardiola did it in a year. Yes, he had a superhuman magician called Messi and La Masia greats at his disposal but we aren't asking that Xavi wins the Treble. Nobody asked that of Pep. We are only asking that first and foremost, he brings back the Barça identity. We want to be able to recognise the team. Once he does that, every other thing would fall into play naturally. According to Muller last night, "Barcelona do not have the capacity to keep up in intensity matches." Ironically, the Tiki Taka (our identity) was known to be high intensity and teams couldn't keep up with us. Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Bayern play that way now too. That's the primary thing we ask of Xavi, and why his appointment heralded so much optimism. He's arguably the best student of Tiki Taka alive today after all. |
pu7pl3:Ironically, I'd rather (like most Cules are also opining) we drop out of the Europa League. Winning it is proving a nonexistent point amongst elite peers. Sevilla have won the Europa 5 times (and 3 times in a roll) yet they aren't exactly considered an elite club. Even Atletico Madrid are considered higher than Sevilla, the quintuple Europa trophies even. My prayer: Barça gets kicked out of that losers' tournament, and we focus on the La Liga and other domestic trophies even. (Top 4 should be the goal now.) Then we bounce back next season with Xavi having considerable time to reinforce or bolster the squad. |
pu7pl3:I already informed you nothing can break a Barça fan more than that 8 - 2 thumping and losing a 3-0 lead to Liverpool. And to be honest, I didn't bother seeing the game. Getting lost in the throes of tumblings beneath the sheets behind drawn curtains and beneath dimmed lights seemed like a better way to spend the evening given the other options. Another thing: Screw Muller! He's a nitwit for not scoring 20 goals after the Balon d'Or quip. |
Darn! These folks are threatening us. Nothing can hit a Barça fan worse than that 8-2 thumping. If you still support this club after that, nothing can make that love wane. Nothing to lose too. This is war!
|
ALEXAPLAYME:What's funny or hilarious? Adeyemi is being smart. Xavi has made it obvious the core of his team would be young La Masia graduates and phasing in La Masia cadets into the first team. Adeyemi isn't an established player yet. He has no advantage over our La Masia boys, and he'd be better fitted at Dortmund which is nothing more than the Bundesliga Tottenham Hotspurs with no pressure to really winning anything and contented with playing second fiddle to Bayern, not winning anything, and a football poultry to eventually be sold off at a cut-price at 25 years old after winning nothing in that time. In Barça, there are expectations of trophies and certain performances. ![]() |
pu7pl3:I've been more on Tech Twitter for a long time but I hope for your own sake our Twitter paths do not cross in interclub battles like during the "Factos" scandal. I hope. And most Cules are tech guys too so we focus more on that until a 'war' begins. Just don't start one. I'd be on the lookout now. |
tesppidd:And that's the problem- you showed your weakness. Trolling is a game of wits and psychoanalysis. Like dueling or boxing, once the troll knows your weak point, he'd use it to cage you. The fear of being banned and your love for your moniker are your weak points, and you declared this so he'd taunt you knowing you wouldn't retaliate. He has you on a psychological leash somewhat because he's dictating dictating your reactions. I often state I have no attachment to any single moniker and actively expect to be banned so I'd never even complain if I get banned and just switch to a recognisable alternate. Less easier to go against me because you don't know my weak points or if I have any for that matter. Trolling, like e-brawls, is nothing more than psychological exercises. Beat a troll at his game and bully him into submission. First, never reveal your weak point. Never let him know what limit you can go and always let it be obvious you can go any length to hit back. After all, a troll is a human being first, and all humans feel the psychological pressure if you apply it well enough. ![]() |
pu7pl3:If you know your two balls aren't as shrunken as Pendu's Dubai d'Or, mention Beks or outrightly attack Messi/Barcelona on Sports Twitter and outrightly identify as a Madridiot. In 4 hours, give us feedback. After Cules, Chelsea fans are the most formidable on Football Twitter. If there's an obvious L to be had, Cules won't engage you. Madridiots? Cules are the reason Pendu and Perez always trend for the wrong reasons on Twitter. When next there are negative trends about these two, go check the accounts behind them. If you are really on Sport Twitter, you'd know better than to attack Messi/Barca needlessly. Even Frank Edoho, rabid as he is, avoids trolling us. |
Dmacqh:The irony is, Messi is a playmaker and has more assists that any active footballer in a top league on the planet. |
tesppidd:He calls you "Deepshit" without even quoting you, and you reply. He tells you to "FOH" as a "Barka" fan and you reply. Are you sure you're a Cule? 'Cause the Cules on Twitter would take this guy to the cleaners to put him in his place. Why keep allowing a Madridiot have one over a Cule? Bring on your fan ultra side! I should give you links of Twitter Cules to follow to know how to serve it scalding hot if the scalding you see here isn't enough. |
kilisi:He as good as left. He was retired to the bench with Rakitic taking his place, and subsequently, Coutinho brought in. Every La Liga/Barça fan knows this. Since Xavi and Iniesta left, Messi has gone on to win at least 2 Balon D'Ors, Copa America and several more trophies, including some Pinichi awards as the top scorer. You should have your head examined with an x-ray scanner. I'm sure a piece of rusted metal was left indented in your cerebrum at child birth. |
michlins:Halfwit, Xavi and Iniesa left in 2015. Since then Mess has continued to be amongst Europe's top scorers and winning individual and team trophies on his own. Even after Neymar and Suarez left. |
BigSarah:Is that not the same cards all scorned women play to ruin a man? Domestic abuse, violence, substance abuse, infidelity, erectile dysfunction and others? Only a naive man doesn't prepare for such eventualities. I'd love you and be faithful as my woman but the pragmatic part of me is always proactive and documents everything. Even as a joke, you hint I hit on on WhatsApp, I'd counter it immediately. If I don't, if things go awry, she'd use it against you. If you call me to settle it via voice call or in person, I'd continue chatting. The chats isn't for you put to protect me from your scorn when and if it comes. I'd she accuses you of anything via chats, debunk it immediately. If she does something odd, have evidence for it. When. the going is good, make seemingly random statements like, "Babe, you know I have never laid a finger on you no matter how angry but you shouldn't do that again." Let her confirm it via chats. Seems random but it isn't. If she gets pregnant, discuss it with her via chats and ensure if she wants to do away with it, she's the one hinting about it (I'm never party to abortions). If you don't, if things go awry, she might claim you made her abort for you and ruin her life when she wanted the baby. Men, be proactive. |
