APC by picking a Southern Muslim as their flagbearer just entered a serious dillema.

Pick a Northern Christian and have Atiku sweep all the North in a landslide.

Or pick a Northern Muslim and have the theme of the 2023 election be about RELIGION.

Nigerian elections has always been about ethno-religious sentiments, but a Muslim/Muslim ticket will further highlight that, and would do them disservice in the Christian dominated South.

The Northerner APC governors had a reason for pushing for APC zoning to the South, they wanted to position themselves for the next elections after 2023 but they picked the wrong person; a Southern Muslim but they didn't have any choice either way, cos Tinubu is a political force.

The SE has joined the party and have decided to take their destiny into their hands.

With 90% votes from the SE, 70% from the SS, 50% from the NC, 35% from the SW, 25% from the NW & NE, Peter Obi will 100 percent be sworn in as President of the FRN next year.

It’s possible, let’s make it happen and take back our country from the vultures in APC and PDP.

If he gets 90% in the SE and 70% from the SS, he at least will ensure that if he doesn't win outrightly that the person with the majority votes cannot win either thus necessitating a rerun between the person with the most votes and the runner up.

Peter Obi needs to identify who his voters are and reach out to them. Yes, does he have people in the North, non-Easterners who might be open to voting for him? Yes he does. And he needs to find them and ensure that they go out and vote.

When we say "structures" it is always ambiguous and your definition of structures might be different from mine. For me structures are people who will be able to reach out to the electorates on a grassroots level and convince them to vote for you.

With the evolution of the internet, "structures" has become very fluid.

Of course he will need people that will defend votes cast for him and be vocal about any manipulation that will go on in the polling stations, in a country where rigging is the only way to win.

If a Muslim/Muslim ticket is guaranteed to transform Nigeria for the better, I wouldn't want it any different.

But we know that's not a guarantee.

Meanwhile CAN should focus on voting in the candidate that best represent their ideology and not wasting their time with telling political parties what to do.

With the emergence of Tinubu as APC flagbearer. Atiku's chances of winning actually ticked up a bit. He has been the favorite all along and is still.

But anything can happen. There is still a lot of politicking to be done.
