^ . Apart from presidential road, independence layout and environs, Enugu should not be mentioned when discussing clean cities. @OP, its a toss between calabar and oweri |
Is it the entire package one gives? Or you make deductions first? |
If he believes engaging more aides will help him improve, by all means he should in ahead. |
The comparison with US is totally irrelevant, IMO. Nigeria is not US. As long as WE SEE THE RESULTS of the plethora of aides at our presidents disposal, i'm sure Nigerians will have no problem even he decides have 100 of such. A situation where he still manages to do a very poor job running the country even with those aides is what irks us. |
These South Africans and their predisposition for such unimaginably horrific crimes. R.ape of 6 moth old babies and 90 year old women. . .and now this. Sad. |
^^I beg to disagree. I was in Calabar last xmas and from what i saw Imoke is quite popular with the people. as for roads, i certainly say there was a marked improvement compared with the last time i was there. the ikom-ugep road for instance. |
In our African culture whenever one has a guest, he or she is usually offered food as a sign of appreciation. All the more if the guest was invited in the first place. The guest is at liberty to accept it or not. I dont see why a burial ceremony should be any different. |
double08:laff wan kpai pesin!!! :-D:-D |
@yeyeruzi, that was excellent. |
The high death toll in their last attack could put them at odds with the locals which will hamper the success of their cause, hence his propaganda. TheY kno Their apparent successes so far is due to their ability to convince people that the security agencies are the bad guys. |
Psychological warfare 101. You have to hand it to these guys, they sure do know their onions. |
Yes silly to someone in country where everything is done properly, not like our case. Appointin a Christian at this time would have been the worst possible move, that is why all DIGs had to retired to make way for Abubakar. muyoto: |
Chill out guys. Do You really think the president would have been unaware of charges agaiinst Abubakar? the fact is FG had obviously run out ideas on how to tackle the sect. This appointment is clearly meant to commence an informal dialogue with Boko Haram--apparently the only option left. What better to achieve that than appointing one of their own to the helm? |
Truly horrific pix. All child rapis.ts should face similar fate. |
Impeaching Gej is an invitation to anarchy. |
I thought mai suya was a christian. |
As far as i'm concerned, 1 and 3 are inextricably linked. As for 2, theirs is a little murky. Are thier aims religious, as they claim, or more political ie toppling of 1? Whatever the case, the signs are not pretty at all. |
akpan123:not necessarily true. The US and much of Europe was built by debt. One just has to ensure its kept to a sustainable level. |
Which one come be JIBWIS again? Dont these people have any other country to go? |
@knowall, ibadan 4 wia? No state has cheaper food than benue. @Op it depends on where you reside. Over here in Gboko you can still get a good meal at a decent restaurant at that price, Eg semo with egusi plus 2 pcs of meat. If its the roadside buka that usually appear towards evening, a plate goes for N100. |
I like this lady |
Is ths really a newsflash? What is so unbelievable about this story?? We may question some of the details by pointblank, but seriously anyone who still believes Sokoto was able to escape without connaivance, nay ACTIVE PARTICIPATION of the police has to be the biggest fool alive. I just so irritated right now. |
Can someone pls tell me how Zakari Biu made his way back to the police after being sacked by Obj? |
The man, with active coniavance from 'high places' was 'released witout bail' to prevent him from squeaking. Nuff said. |
It tallies with the figure Ngozi Okonjo Iweala gave--N300bn. |
Haaaaa! Times of refreshing indeed! Importation of crude oil, payments without invoices, and the most absurd of all, NNPC has no idea of how much was spent on fuel--it will take 4 fugging moths to compute! Na wa o! |
Your brain shutting down? |
@Op's list is not even exhaustive. What about Bianca? Special adviser on diaspora? |
Sickening |
I must say i'm very surprised about on BBc. If anything, they've always seem to be in support of GEJ. I remember a report by Patrick doyle from Abuja where he kept on saying 'this is not a Nigeria Spring, in that jonathan is not seen as a dictator since he came thru the ballot box and so Nigerians are not really calling for regime change. . ., and so on. |
I'm not sure many of up have weighed the far reaching ramifications of a total PENGASSAN shutdown. Nigeria will literally grind to a halt. |
