“Senator Biodun Olujimi, apparently against the ban, noted that the youth have gained so much from the business of bitcoin, hence, advised the CBN and the government to iron out ways for cryptocurrency to work for the country while also taking step to prevent fraudulent people from gaining access.” I disagree with Senator Biodun Olujimi and all others who are opposed to banning cryptocurrency. J Joseph Stiglitz is a noble prize memorial winner in economic, and also a professor of economics at Columbia University, USA. Recently, he has called for a ban on cryptocurrency (Costello, 2017). His call for ban has been supported by other studies. For example, consumer value for the use of cryptocurrency has been widely studied by many economic scholars. Most of these studies are in favor of banning cryptocurrency. And their reasons for banning cryptocurrency include: Tax evasion ( Slattery, 2014) was a major concern. Money laundry (Bryans, 2014) another concern. Market volatility like behavior (Fry, 2018) presents risks for individuals’ investors and financial systems. When people recommended banning cryptocurrency to President Buhari, those concerns I listed above were at the forefront in their decision making. I know Nigeria and Nigerians are facing poor economic crisis now. So is the rest of world. However, allowing cryptocurrency in Nigeria will produce disastrous effects on Nigeria economy. Studies and studies have supported this conclusion. |
Punchng: “Lukman said, “The speculation is that Mr. Fani-Kayode is on his way to joining the APC. The verdict in most media platforms is quite disturbing, but justifiably so, if the news about Mr. Fani-Kayode joining the APC is true.“That our leaders will be meeting with Mr. Fani-Kayode in such a compromising way, suggesting that he may be on his way to joining our party, clearly indicates that either those of us saddled with the responsibility of advising them have failed or we have been completely cut off.” Quite shocking! Reports that Femi Fan Kayode has initiated talks with APC to leave PDP and to join APC proved chances of PDP recapturing the presidency in 2023 are disappearing. To bring you up to date about statements Femi Fani Kayode has made in the past against APC and has caused APC officials to reject him joining the party, I list them below. In 2017 Femi Fani Kayode wrote an article title “The APC Cult of Death”, he described APC as stinking corpses and rotten cadavers. In another 2017 article title “Buhari: Fani-Kayode gives reasons president must resign now” and published in Daily Trust, Minister Kadyode offered the following five reasons why he thought President Buhari should resign: That President Buhari did not inspect guards of honor upon arrival at the airport That Buhari hands were shaking while reading a speech That Buhari could not do a live TV broadcast That Buhari could not go to office to work and has to work at home because he is too sick That Buhari could not read a speech without shaking his hands. At the conclusion of this article, Kayode said “How much longer can this Charade last? He must resign now before he relapses” So, for Femi Fani Kayode to take down President Buhari as he did above and offer to join APC party under the leadership of Buhari, it proved one thing: PDP is too bad to win the presidency in 2023. I am shaking my head, and not because of discovering that PDP was a sinking ship, but because I did not know that the depth of the hole it went in was this deep. |
“The Ekiti State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Olawale Fapohunda has sued the Inspector General of Police over the dismissal of Olajide Omolola, the pregnant unmarried female corporal.” A welcome and delightful action by Ekiti Attorney General. I write to thank Attorney General and commissioner for Justice, Olawale Fapohunda for taking steps to free Nigerian women from utopian law. That section of the law—which called for dismissal of unmarried pregnant police woman should never have been included in Nigerian constitution, in the first place. It punishes women for what they can do with their bodies. All nations in the world have abolished primitive ways men used to treat women except Nigeria. This world belongs to men and women. Men should never act as if they are superior to women by passing silly laws to restrict women freedoms [including the freedom to do whatever they want to do with their bodies]. Lets treat our women with respect because women brought all of us to this world. And yes, civilization has finally caught with Nigerians. We will never go back! |
Jerryherd; “Hacking a Bitcoin wallet is next to. Impossible” Jerryherd, Before I address your concern in the quote, I want you to learn how to disagree. Learning how to disagree with other people who don’t have similar opinion as you do, shows you have manners and home training. Furthermore, do a little bit of research on the topic before you write. That offers people opportunity to reason with you. Ok? Now, you claimed above that hacking a bitcoin is next to impossible. I disagree. And here is why. Joseph Stiglitz is a noble prize memorial winner in economic, and also a professor of economic at Columbia University, USA. Recently, he has called for a ban on cryptocurrency (Costello, 2017). His call for ban has been supported by other studies. Consumer value for the use of cryptocurrency has been widely studied by many economic scholars. Tax evasion ( Slattery, 2014) was a major concern. Money laundry (Bryans, 2014) another concern. Market volatility like behavior (Fry, 2018) presents risks for individuals’ investors and financial systems. So, President Buhari decision to ban Cryptocurrency is in line with what many studies have shown and with merits as stated above. I also want to remind you that when you advocate for something, you should tell the viewers why. So far, you have not. All you got is insult. And shame on you! Finally, I am a scholar, not in your mood! You have temperament problems. |
"Former vice-president Atiku Abubakar has urged the Buhari administration not to shut down cryptocurrency business, as announced by the Central Bank of Nigeria on Friday." I disagree. This appeal by Mr. Atiku to president Buhari not to shut down cryptocurrency is dangerous for many reasons . First, cryptocurrency is a risky investment because cyber criminals can steal your cryptocurrency . Second, it is prone to hack by online hackers. Third, cryptocurrency uses decentralized system-- which means they are not controlled by a person or government . Fourth, terriosts use it to wire money for terrorism reasons Furthermore, vice president Atiku has big time interest in keeping cryptocurrency business going because it is an investment dominated by the Hausas and fulanis business people. No wonder why Boko Haram is successful in having access to cash to buy weapons and terrorized citizens across the country. So, I write to appeal to president Buhari to shut down cryptocurrency Based on all the reasons I had listed above. Nigeria has lost all it's credibility because of online trading. And we don't need anymore headache ! |
"Jibrilu- Gwandu: “We have gone round the city with journalists; they have seen it by themselves that the report lacked iota of truth. We have not seen any of such posters in Birnin Kebbi." Internet has good and bad advantages. Many times, the bad advantages of the internet might make you want hate the internet. One of the the disadvantages of the internet is anyone who has access to the internet can claim things that never happened, and in unregulated country like Nigeria, the perpetrator is able to get away with lies without fines. For example, and as you might have read above, someone who has access to the internet claimed that the Nigerian minister of justice has put out posters to indicate his intention to run for governorship election. And as it turned out, the story is false So, I writing to call for all the 36 states in Nigeria to pass a law that would hold publishers of websites responsible for content in their sites. That will ensure stories are checked before publication. I am tired of lies going around on the web. |
Ngozi Iweala will never withdraw because she is like a prostitute with no shame. No shame at all! What can Ngozi Iweala offer? Trade issue is not her expertise . She changed her citizenship just to get a job. All these events point to one thing: her plan to engage in criminal activities. She will never get that job. |
Buhari:“Tell your colleagues to go back to their constituencies and join in party registration, attend party meetings, pay your dues, make contributions and bring your youthful energy and zeal to bear on the development of the party right from the unit and ward level up to the National” Are you a Nigerian? Is your constituency safe and free from kidnappers and Boko haran insurgent attackers? I am really shocked to hear president Buhari urging his supporters to go to their communities and organise political registration. Where has president Buhari been for the past 7 years . Nigeria is not safe to organize political rallies. Boko haran and kidnappers will kill them all. Please add police to that list of killers. Nigerian police, reports would show demand bribes and if people refuse to comply , they kill you just like boko haran and kidnappers. And For President Buhari supporters, please send Buhari email to advise him that nigeria isn't safe for political rallies because kidnappers and boko haran will them I know , president Buhari is probably kept in the dark about Boko Haran and kidnappers controlling Nigeria for the past 7 years. These advisers know that the only way to keep their jobs is to lie to president Buhari. That I can understand! I do anything I can do to put food on the table and pay rent to live. |
" President of the Senate, the President said: “In accordance with section 171 (1), (2) (c) & sub-section (4) of 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended " When president Buhari wants to appoint Northern Nigerian Muslims to fill vacant positions in government, he cites constitutional section to silence his critics. No body borders to check whether the section of the constitution been cited is legal or not. And he often gets away with it. That raises questions about whether Nigeria has opposition party or whether Nigeria is a one party state. I can tell you now, PDP is not going to return to power for not putting a fight to shore up support for their base. The base of PDP is so quiet and not motivated at all since the days of Obj and Jonathan. Furthermore, President Buhari is destroying Nigeria by filling government jobs with people who have no knowledge about how government should work. PDP is not showing any kind of opposition to President Buhari poor leadership. I am shaking my head in disbelief. |
"One month ago, the govt of Akwa Ibom state launched a witch hunt on my husband. Because my husband Da Zion Umoh consistently calls out their non performance on Facebook" Akwa ibom state government is an evil regime. It came into power with absolutely nothing to offer from get go. And when affected citizens complained of poor performance of services to public, its response with arrest to silence their critics. I am in Washington DC today. Tomorrow morning, I am going straight to US department of civil rights and lodge a complaint through my lawyer on this case. On one issue after another, Akwa ibom state government has failed to deliver security to the citizens . Akwa ibom state government has failed to protect citizens from kidnappers. Akwa ibom state government has failed to create jobs for citizens Akwa ibom state government has failed to provide good drinking water for citizens Akwa ibom state government has failed to provide transportation services for the citizens Akwa Ibom state government has failed to protect citizens from oil spills-- which destroyed our environment and poisoned our drinking water. The emptiness and evilness of Akwa ibom state government is in display today for the people of this world to see . What is Akwa ibom state government good at? Inquiry minds want to know |
Adamu Garba: "A liter of groundnut oil and cotton is more expensive that the liter of oil, and it has unimaginable chain value for production in different industries, from pharmaceuticals to detergents etc." Adamu Garba is arrogant! A liter of groundnut oil and cotton is more expensive than the liter of oil, said Adamu Garba. That proves Mr. Garba lacks skills, achievement and abilities to even do a simple math. When you look at Nigeria sources of revenues from 1970 to 2020, Northern Nigeria contributes Zero Naira or penny to Nigeria economy. Northern Nigeria went to war in 1967 to remain part of Nigeria out of fear that North will not survive without oil revenues from South/South geopolitical zone, studies from foreign and local scholars about the state of Nigeria have reported. This is more evidence in a recent speech titled “Nigeria Has Revenue Problems” by Nigeria minister of finance and National planning, Zainab Ahmed. In that speech, MS. Ahmed said Nigeria oil revenues hit N8Trillion in 2011. But in 2015 oil revenues dropped from N6Trillion to N3.8 Trillion as a result of decline in the price of oil. And as soon as MS. Ahmed made the above data available, President sent out a statement informing Nigeria lawmakers that Nigeria has revenues problems. This was followed by the finance minister, MS. Zainab Ahmed taking loans in the amount of $29.96. Nigeria and foreign media reported these loans over several days. So, if Northern Nigeria has something to offer Nigeria, why did Nigeria take loans when oil price declined in 2015? Nigeria relies 100% on oil revenues. Northern Nigeria lives on revenues and without it, North will cease to exist. They know it. The lie that North has cows, coconut oil, raw materials and that revenues from them can help North live without Oil revenue is not supported by any evidence. Do the Math! |
In this era of rising covid19 rates, inviting students to return to school for in class instruction is risky. Data released by Nigeria CDC showed rising increase in covid19 all over 36 states . And Nigeria is not a country that can solve unexpected problems if it happens . That poses risks for all students and staff That is why I support in classrooms instruction for k12 students but definitely not for university students. University students are adults and can learn online with little or no help. K12 is really a place where face-to-face instruction is needed. A 5 year old child needs teachers showing them how to add , subtract, multiply and so on. And they also need interaction with teachers and classmates to learn how to ask questions and get answers. WHO [world health organization] issued a study about a year ago that suggested rate of transmission of covid19 among teenagers is lower in teens than in adults. Have Nigerian authorities read that report? So, I hope schools in Nigeria which are ready to reopen should revisit their decisions. Better to be safe than to be sorry |
" There is intense lobby within the power cycles in Abuja, Daily Trust gathered, with Adamu still said to be hopeful of a tenure extension." Granting tenure extension to Adamu will be a big mistake. His leadership has been a disaster from the start. Murders of innocent people in Nigeria under IG Adamu have skyrocketed. Kidnapping of people has become industry under Adamu leadership. Nigerians communities and businesses have been vandalized-- while IG did nothing to stop the menace. Visitors have stopped traveling to Nigeria for fear of being kidnapped. That killed opportunities for opening up new businesses and hiring locals to work and earn income. Local and international media have reported record automobile accidents deaths in Nigeria-- at rates never seen before. This could have been stopped if IG Adamu had put in place effective safety driving rules. So, I write to ask and urge president Buhari not to extend IG Adamu stay in office. I also asked president Buhari to appoint someone from Akwa ibom state to head the country police force. That will bring discipline to the force and reduce crime rates in Nigeria |
Pocohantas :"How To Prepare Garden Egg Sauce" How to prepare Garden eggs sauce is a process writing essay. The problem I have with someone who posted this thread is listening the recipes, instead of showing people how prepare Garden eggs. In process writing, you begin by telling your audience the following steps: [1] first thing to do [2] second thing to do [3] third thing to do [4] fourth thing to do [5] fifth of those steps and more I have decided to put this instruction out because you might come across this type of topic in your job interview. It comes very often. I tell my students all the time. So, if you come across this type of topic in interview, apply the method I have written above. |
Studies showed that 1 in 100,000 people aged between one and 35 years old died each year for natural causes. Another studies showed most deaths among young people that cannot be explained are caused by heart attacks. In any event, may God bring peace to her family and loved ones. |
Komu1048, Please get her on the phone with me right now. With Covid19 still raging across the world, you know this pregnant woman needs a job to pay rent, take care of herself and put food on the table. NPF knows that. I still think she is mistreated. And I hope some good samaritan out there will step forward to help her to bring her unborn to the earth safely. Police are our heroes! |
"Lieutenant General TY Buratai officially handed over the mantle of leadership" I am not celebrating! These Nigerian military officers looked so old from this picture--an indication of why their their ideas to defeat boko could have been affected by their old age. 100, 300, 1400 Nigerians [ civilians & military] are killed every day, and Nigerians did not know why. The reason is our front line officers are too old to adapt to new thinking about how to defeat boko Haran. President Buhari should push these old officers out of the military and bring in fresh faces to end lthe menace of boko Haram and their sympathizers. But who are those advising president Buhari on the issue of insecurity in Nigeria? The inquiry minds want to know. |
"It said the police authority had to wield the big stick when it discovered that the unmarried constable got pregnant in alleged flagrant violation of the Police Rules and Regulation." Unbelievable. I find it difficult to believe that a woman would loose her job for being pregnant. Is being pregnant a new crime in Nigeria? This is murder. Give me a break. Police officers all over Nigeria are illegally stealing government money, killing thousands of people annually and still keep their jobs. And she lost her job trying to bear a child. Very childish at best. The problem this pregnant woman faces now is Nigeria does not have a good judicial system where she can seek remedy for the injustice meted on her by this cruel police department. You have got to hate Nigeria! |
"Dangote’s suit will be dismissed"----Autumn Spikes. I agree with MS Spikes claim above. In American court, women statement against men is often believed. Besides, MS Spikes has a photo of the accused butt naked with her If you are a black man in America, how do you over come that kind of damaging evidence? I don't know the answer to this question, but you be the judge. |
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met the new service chiefs for the first time is an attempt to sweep thousands of Nigerians killed by Boko haran under the carpet. I want to say that it is not going to work because Nigerians already know where president Buhari stands on getting rid of boko Haram: Buhari views boko haran as fellow Islamic bigots. In 2015 when Buhari was running for president and president Goodluck Jonathan was on track to getting rid of boko Haram, Buhari said to Jonathan: " stop killing the muslims ". Is that the voice of someone who is willing to get rid of boko Haram? |
“Attahiru Ibrahim, a major general, has been removed from his position as the theatre commander of the Lafiya Dole operation. His removal is said to be linked to the seeming inefficiency of his command in tackling the Boko Haram insurgency”—The Cable I send a friendly sympathy to General Ibraham for many reasons. First, you cannot fight a gun battle with a toothless knife and win. Several western and Nigerian media have reported that Nigerian soldiers are often sent to war front unequipped to confront their enemies. And that Boko Haram fighters are better equipped than Nigerian soldiers. Secondly, the best counter insurgence strategy is the use of local militia. Local militia is effective because they know their terrains and can call for military response when it is appropriate. There has never been report of Nigerian troops employing the service of local militia to defeat Boko Haram. Furthermore, Nigerian military, according to many western reports have been infiltrated by Boko Haram. Northern Nigerian Muslins are half in Nigerian military and another half in Boko Haram, many reports said. Third, before becoming the President Nigeria, Buhari support for Northern Nigerian Muslims has inspired Boko Haram fighters to stay on and fight. In 2015 when President Buhari was campaigning for election against President Goodluck Jonathan and Jonathan government was at the verge of defeating Boko Haram, Buhari said this to President Goodluck Jonathan: “stop killing the Muslims”. The significant of above statement by Buhari was it put Buhari directly in support of Boko Haram. That is the reason Buhari government is having hard time in their fight against the menace of Boko Haram. Boko Haram see President Buhari as one of them, according to western media report. So, my view is that as long as President Buhari remains in power, chances are Boko Haram will remain strong and stronger. President Buhari must resign if there is any hope of defeating Boko Haram.

"He added: “I’m assuring you that you will see wonder in 2023. People you do not expect will return and others will join PDP." I agree! Leaving PDP to APC or any other political party in Nigeria and believing that some how, you are better off is wishful thinking. In 2023 president Buhari will no longer be APC presidential candidate and that means end of ruling party. President Buhari brings skills and Fulani backgrounds--'- qualities that unite all the the northern states around APC. Who in the northern Nigeria states besides president Buhari can unite all states to support APC? Right now, I cannot see it. That is why I am predicting PDP victory in 2023 if an acceptable presidential candidate will be chosen |
" Sunday Igboho, whose real name is Sunday Adeyemo, has been at the forefront of a controversial and illegal attempt to drive Nigerians of Fulani origin from Oyo State. The Nigerian Constitution accords all citizens the fundamental rights to live in any parts of the country, but Sunday Igboho and others have been riding on the anger of Yoruba political leadership against rising herdsmen violence to issue confrontational directives of their own." Another reason why president Buhari is unfit to be president of Nigeria. To president Buhari: What is the court for when a law is violated? |
“When this market started, it was not in its present location, but the people of Wudil and the business community around the area started having disagreement with Fulani herders" Terrible report. The reporter could not even tell the readers the original location of wudil cattle market. That will be important information to prevent people from ever buying cattle at original market because of illness that used to kill cattle there. And how has this new location, Wudil addressed the problem that made cattle market to move from old location to new location? Again, this report failed to address that question. |
What is restructuring Nigeria mean? Those advocating restructuring Nigeria need to come up with a clear definition of what it means because I don't know what they are talking about. I hope and pray those advocating restructuring Nigeria are not talking about going back to the composition of Nigeria after independence of Nigeria in 1960. All states in south South geopolitical zone reject without any room for compromise , the structure of government of Nigeria based on what nigeria used to have before civil war broke out in 1967 What l like is dividing Nigeria into 36 countries . Every body goes their own way. That will gain support among Nigerians, especially those of us from South South states . |
"President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-appointment of Hadiza Bala Usman as Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), for additional five-year tenure." When it comes to how government should work, Buhari, Obj and goodluck Jonathan think the same: that president was elected to fill all vacant jobs with their families members and cronies. History of Nigeria ruling government revealed it. From 1999 to 2007 Obj government initiated no policy that improved Nigerian lives except those of obj and his cronies. Goodluck Jonathan did the same thing from 2009 to 2015. Buhari as you have witnessed is continuing on similar path. What can Nigerians do to change the mindset of Nigerian leaders about how government supposed to work for all Nigerians? |
"Boko Haram Captures & Destroys Armed Personnel Carrier Newly Acquired By Army " If you ever wondered why many foreign governments don't want to sell Nigeria their military hardware and other military accessories, now you know why. Countries which have refused to sell military hardware to Nigeria, have concerns insurgent group like boko haran will over power Nigerian soldiers by taking these military hardware's and selling them to adversaries like the Russians . One of these countries which has refused to military hardware to is America. American government has read about boko haran destroying Nigerian soldiers over the years. Nigerian authorities can no longer blame these countries any more because their concerns have now been proven. Under president Buhari, Nigeria as a nation is now in questions . Buhari supports for Islamic state has weakened the Nigerian army and strengthened that of boko Haram . That is why I am calling for president Buhari resignation. |
" Wife Gives Husband A List Of Chores To Do Before He Can Have Sex With Her - Family ," Don't treat this to- do-list in exchange for sex in a negative way .personally, I see it as something that can jump start a bad or otherwise a boring relationship. Who knows why the wife came up this idea? She probably was advised by a marriage counselor. Her husband should take advantage of what his wife has offered here because it can lead to: [1] wife and husband exchanging laughter that never existed before. [2] it can promote healthy relationships between wife and husband. [3] sex without fun is boring . [4] for the sake of fun, pusy gets juicy and Dick gets harder |

Muna4real : When was he guilty of the bolded? Do you think that kanu is concerned about Nigeria's problems? It's not his business and neither does he care. All he cares for is to remove his people from the deception of a country that they have unfortunately found themselves in. That's all. Let's talk about what is possible, and not what is not possible. To you Muna4real, what is the chance South east will be able to break away from Nigeria? Be serious? I will argue, no chance because South east is located and surrounded by states which opposed to what Nnamdi kanu has advocated. That means the best option available for Nnamdi kanu to help his people is to work within what Nigerian constitution provides today. Outside that is inciting violence-- which is not a winning strategy. So, I get you, but you're not engaging in a winning or realistic argument. That winning argument is proposing and pushing for policy that can help people of South east today. That policy should include building affordable housing for all Nigerians. [2] promoting policy that will eradicate poverty. [3] calling for increase in minimum wage. [4] calling for end to terrorism and kidnapping. [5] calling for resources control |
"Loved by Nnamdi Kanu who himself describes FFK as “a fearless, erudite, sophisticated and very loyal friend, brother and ally” who “we will give a leading role in Biafra”, the two of them are obviously very close." I disagree. Citing Nnamdi kanu to validate opposition to president Buhari diminished all the bad things Buhari has done to Nigeria and Nigerian people. Nanamdi kanu is a bigot and sectarian. He only advocates freedom for ibos. He only talks about breaking Nigeria. He only advocates violence as a means to resolving poverty in ibo land. He never proposed policy that can liberate people. That to me removed him from any conversation aimed at resolving Nigerian problems |
