A whole tin of peak milk in a cup of tea. My sister that is just a big glutton and evidence of wasteful and poverty depressed upbringing. It shows she doesn't come across milk often, so she will kill herself at this rare opportunity. It's a great thing she came to spend time with him and exposed who she really is. He should go for thanksgiving.

Selfish and insensitive people are the worst kind of people anyone can marry. Worst. They never change o. All they do is take and destroy and never give anything.
So true. And the sad thing about it is: it's entrenched in their DNA, they're incapable of realising it.

@op N40k a month or N40k a year?

Mr A did the right thing. That lady is selfish and can not manage money. She is also insensitive and callous. Let her take this time she has now to grow up and find someone else. He really dodged a bullet.

Can you imagine? She probably can't do that in her father's house. Mr A better run away now that it's still a relationship. With such a woman you dare not say you don't have money in the future. She's also a glutton too. She will eat him broke and become obese too. A whole tin of peak milk. Chai

Hungry girl. She be real I never chop, when they eat bread with mineral in her father's house. Lmao. Where some people get their spouses is a wonder
Now this is just too funny! cheesy

Gluttonous hungry girl tinz...
FamilyRe: Kindly Give Your Advice. . . Mr A And Miss B by EfemenaXY: 5:46pm On May 20, 2017
He did well.

It's good for both parties to have principles and be clear about what they feel they can tolerate and what is / are "no-go" areas for them. Dating is the time for carefully observing your intended and being totally honest about your expectations.

From the write up, Mr A did just that and he obviously was the more mature one in the relationship. Anyway, miss B needs more time to grow up as she isn't quite ready for marriage.

One thing many young people fail to realise is: you can't change an adult. The adult in question will only change their behaviour/ perception/ attitudes / nuances/ beliefs ONLY because they want to, and not because you or I wish them to. It had to come from within - and as see from the narrative, miss B was set in her ways, selfishly self-centred and unwilling to see the logic in Mr A's argument and accept she was wrong.

Keeping the food in his pocket is not stealing. At least he was served the meal, and its his. He should have just gone to ask if there was a takeaway pack to put his meal in.

However, the spoon though, maybe he kept it in his pocket so it won't disturb acxessvto his food. The guy beside him is also using his hands to eat.

FamilyRe: Wife Exposes Side Chic On Facebook by EfemenaXY: 7:40pm On Apr 18, 2017
It is NEVER worth it for a wife to run after a cheating man's side chick.

It takes two to make a marriage work. A man chasing skirts not only disrespect his martial vows, his wife (and even himself), but by his actions demonstrates what little regard he has for his marriage.

Best to call it quits, settle his wife and provide for the upkeep of their kids. The wife should also walk away without a second glance. Life has no duplicates and AIDS is real.

Marriage should be enjoyed not endured. It also isn't a do or die affair either.

thanks for all your comments i really appreciate.i will try and bear all rubbish is not that i cant abort but i was adviced by my Doctor not to do so cos is complicated. so i leave everything everything in d hands of my creator he knows the best. plss i know many can judge me by saying staying with him for long. im a less privldged child since 2005 i sufferd till i met him so i have been staying with him since when i was in yr 1 till i graduated. double dating dont favour me at all, i dont fancy it at all if not i could have leave him for long. when you love a man deep dwn from ur hrt and ur both struggle tghter u will know how it feels to start all of over again. 7yrs rlationship is not 7days it pains to see ur man double dating and claims is not true. if he open up to me the way i do to him there wont be prb but he keeps yelling at me not to ask him. Infact God will pay him back in his own coins.
Leave God out of it. He didn't put you in this situation. You did - for money.

And stop deceiving yourself that you're bearing his rubbish. You're not. You're practically forcing yourself on someone who doesn't want you - which you know anyway. But rather than walk away from a dead end relationship, you decide to trap him by getting yourself knocked up with yeye claims of a complicated pregnancy. What sort of complications are you referring to, girl?

You say you struggled with him for 7 years. Really? But you claim life's been so hard for you since 2005 and he's been financing your education since year 1. So what did you contribute financially?

Na wa for the shamelessness of some girls. Is he your father? Biko if you know you don't have the financial means to bring up a child go for a termination and learn to keep your legs firmly shut.

Thank you. I think he's not that kind of person.
So why are you worried then?
FamilyRe: Love.., Look What You Made Me Do! by EfemenaXY: 10:26am On Feb 18, 2017
He turned to you in his hour of need. You helped him out of a tight spot irrespective of whether you could afford it or not.

He promised to pay you back - meaning he's aware that money was a loan and needs to be paid back.

He should do the decent thing and pay you back without you having to ask him for your money. Otherwise, he's played on your emotions and taken you for a ride.

How long ago did you loan him that money?

Nysot.

This is getting out of hand and you need to put a stop to this nonsense. Right now.

Take the evidence you have and report him to the police. Tell them you're been stalked by a fraudster and you fear for your safety.

You also need to let your family know what's happening. This has gone too far and too long. It's just a matter of time before he traces you to your home address. That's what the prank about buying your car was all about.

This is serious and you're dealing with an unstable and very dangerous psychopath.

I have 135k. I am considering relocating to the city with my wife and two kids to rent a room and search for security job or to stay back where I am, rent a shop and start a fast food joint selling indomie, egg, jellof rice and beans.
N135k doesn't sound like a lot of money to me.

How much do the following items cost in the city compared to where you live?

1. A 20kg sack of rice
2. A 20kg sack of beans
3. A basket of tomatoes
4. A large tin of groundnut oil
5. A large tin of palm oil
6. A medium sized basket of onions
7. A medium sized basket of pepper
8. Meat / chicken/ frozen (iced) fish
9. Spices (curry, thyme, nutmeg, salt)
10. A crate of soft drinks / carton of beer

11. And as you'll be cooking large scale for commercial purposes, storage costs? I.e. A small sized generator to power your deep freezer?

12. Fuel costs. Do you plan on using firewood (cheaper), or kerosene / gas?

Not trying to put a damper on your idea (which I think is commendable anyway), but you need to consider your costs properly before venturing into any business plans.

Don't start what you can't finish.

If you pretend to be cool with his views while dating, then be prepared to equally put up with them for the rest of your married life - assuming you decided to tow that path.

Pacify him over what? Hasn't she got enough on her plate as it is?

If he wants to take up a new career as a village farmer, so be it.

Waving the divorce card in her face is just a silly move on his part to avoid all responsibilities to his family.

FamilyRe: Heeelllpppppp! Advice Urgently Needed. by EfemenaXY: 6:37am On Jan 09, 2017
Jimi23:
Dear Nairalanders, I really need urgent advice on a very pressing family issue. I have a sister who is already in her thirties, still single. There has been so much pressure on her from our parents and other older family members for her to settle down as soon as possible because the clock is ticking.

So she meets this Nigerian guy in his fourties who claims to be a widower with dual citizenship on a dating site. He would call her for hours unend and tell her how much he loves her and can't wait to see her. This went on for months.

The issue now is during these months, she did not have acess to him. She could not call him freely and anytime she called, he would sound apprehensive and sometimes cut her off and when he called back like a couple of hours later, he would accuse her of cutting off on him. Obviously he wanted to be the one calling at his own time and convenience for reasons best known to him.

She says he was always asking about her finances and seemed to want to ascertain how financially bouyant she was. His Facebook page is blocked and he isn't even requesting to be friends on Facebook.

He would sometimes get to the doorstep, tell her he would talk to her when he gets inside the house and not call back until the next day. She was in the UK and he made all sorts of excuses until she left. So he didn't meet with her in the UK during her visit.

Now she's saying she's confused because she thinks she loves him still. I told her point blank to forget him and quit being desperate because when a man who claims he loves you and can't wait to see you flees the moment he hears you are at Heathrow that man is either married or a scammer. She thinks otherwise.

What do you think he is really after?

She knows this is up on Nairaland and would be ready to get advice from you guys. Thanks.
@op.

The first you need to do is to ask your family to just back off and get off your sister's case.

Marriage is not a do-or-die affair, neither is it a race. It's never about how fast one gets married but how well they steer the boat of matrimony.

It's way better to be single and happy, than to be married and unhappy. Tell your family should just let her be, to live her life in peace before she's forced to do something every one might regret, out of desperation.
