Every figure I stated is fact. Even at 2.2 Billion, Rwanda's Budget is still much lower than Rivers Stat budget of $3.01Billion.

I think it is you that lack wisdom, why should i ask you what year was referenced ?, common sense demands that the budget year of the entities you are comparing are the same and most likely the most recent.


To also have a more holistic picture of the situation, you should also ask yourself what structure of governance rwanda practices ?, a decentralised rwanda will most likely mean more strength in the hands of the states/regions/ provinces and correspondingly lesser responsibility for the federal govt. What are the budgets of the provinces in rwanda?

abagoro: I don't think Roads are actually the true yardstick for measuring performance. Taking pictures of bad roads will only prove that there are lots of bad roads in Anambra but it does not give information on other sectors. Anambra as a State needs improvement in aesthetics and that's the part I've kept criticizing Peter Obi on. Its not all about money but beauty and good life is important as well.

The Electoral act governs all elections INEC supervises.

It is the constitutional right of Bamidele to contest, but must not be done to the detriment of the law
This said Bamidele is leading a vehicle procession along the streets of Ekiti with campaign posters and placards.
Pasting of posters is quite different, unknown or unseen individuals can paste posters, who knows if it is Jonathan's camp that are pasting posters of Amaechi.

Sincere 9gerian: You never knew Anambra. I am from the state. I know what it was before and what it is NOW. Anambra is blessed with human resources but in terms of infrastructural development, the state had almost NOTHING at the advent of democracy in 1999. To make matters worse, the EVIL antics of OBJ insisted on imposing unwanted elements on the state even under democratic dispensation, leading to prolonged political crisis and instability. Consequently, Peter inherited a dilapidated state, lacking all BASIC infrastructure and destroyed by erosion. Most of what existed in the state were built by communities. It was like there was a conspiracy to keep the state down. OBJ looked for Dora Akunyili to head NAFDAC because he wanted a good job done in the organisation. But guess who he decided to impose on Anambra people as governor? Andy Ubah. The destruction of the state or the task of keeping the state down was deliberate, well planned and expertly executed.

Anambra is not Lagos or Abuja or even Enugu (former capital of the old Anambra). Anambra is not Akwa-Ibom or Rivers with enormous oil resources. Those of us who know what it was before appreciate what has been done by Peter Obi. Ngige also tried during his 3.5years reign, but that was in terms of road construction. To make matters worse, the political crisis that happened under Ngige led to the destruction of even the very scanty infrastructure in the state. Anambra has moved several step forward and it can only get better.

Sincere9gerian, how did you arrive at 3.5 years duration for Ngige's tenure, I am aware Ngige did not spend up to 3 years as governor in Anambra, he spent roughly 2years and 9 months.

You are right, as long as no one knows his/her score and the cut-off score, you can not be sure you passed the test.
Having a first class is not a guarantee that you will meet the required cut-off score.

Nevertheless, after going though your application info, SCB might still reject applications based on other reasons known to them, even when the candidate meets the required cut-off score

The snowball of violence will be better imagined than experienced. 2011 post election violence will be a learner.

If the two major gladiators in 2011 presidential election square up again, Jonathan will have significantly lesser votes in the south west, lest we forget, at the 2011 pres. elections, PDP was still controlling 2 out of the 6 sw states (ogun and oyo), and had just lost 2 of the states(ekiti and oshun) like 6 months before. With APC controlling 5 out of the 6 south west states so far, and GEJ losing a lot of good will and his presumed humbled disposition from fuel subsidy saga, and hunting down of political rivalries.

In the SE, the APC is making inroads in to the south east, at least, it now controls imo state, and who knows might controls anambra state by next year, Abia PDP seems weakened courtesy of imperformance by the sitting governor , Enugu and ebonyi still stays firmly in the hands of PDP,

in the south east APC (buhari), less than 1% performance might improve to roughly 7-8%, there would also be reduced voters turnout and magic numbers. 4 out of the 5 Pro-pdp governors are not seeking re-election, sometimes leads to less mobilisation of voters for PDP

In the south south, crisis in the South south especially, Rivers state, most of his PDP governors are not seeking re-election might lead to less mobilisation of voters. APC buhari less than 2% performance might improve to roughly 10%.

In the North west, It will be very significant improvement for APC, with the merger of ANPP, CPC AND ACN, most of the PDP Northern elements who were persuaded to allow GEJ use out Yaradua's tenure will no longer support GEJ.

In the North central, there would slight improvement for APC than the 2011 elections.

In the North East, There would also be significant improvement in this region to favour APC.


Lest we forget, GEJ had roughly 57% of the total votes cast in 2011,but in 2015, GEJ might struggle to get close to 40% of total votes cast.

N.B: there are still up to 16 months to presidential election, and a lot can still happen within this period to change the political equation
