Lana40:Madam, if you are in the country and of age, go out and vote. You don't sit at home and pray for God to give you a leader. It'an election, God uses people to pick a leader. Let him use you. Those that go out to vote are not worshiping Satan. They have God, and they still know the importance of voting. Don't put your fate in the hands of others, and say it's God's doing. Please, let your voice be heard. Thank you. |
seanwilliam:Subsidized? I think you meant reduced. Who will subsidize the cost of an imported product for you in Nigeria? |
Exposed* |
Pimine:Again, you'd rather continue the typical Nairaland to-and-fro than reply that comment because you know there's no coming back from that one. You read it and it exposed your narrow mindedness. What you want to is an escape route. You take pride in having a repository of insults and that explains why there's no space for logic. |
Unknown31:Lol... I don't know what you guys are arguing about, but this response made laugh. No time for too many words, yeah? Lol |
Pimine:You didn't read it, but you have time to read the subsequent ones and reply them. Tell that to someone who's new on this platform. You're too shallow to know what translates into work, and my comment made that clear. So you'd rather not reply. |
Stephen2324:Oga, apply common sense nah. DNA test only exposes one gender. It's not a level ground, so how is that a measure of who cheats more? Nawa o. You guys should be doing this your sexism with sense so you don't sound like overly excited teens. |
This has been on the internet for more than 5 years. |
Pimine:You definitely read every word. There's simply logic behind your shallow reasoning, and you've figured that out. |
Pimine:So you get to define what work is as the minister of labour? Have you ever undergone any kind of surgery? Did you pay the bills for her or endured the pains for her? Going under the knife to get rid of excess fat costs a lot of money which which she worked for. It takes time which she should have used to make more money. Most importantly, it comes with pains which she endured. And you get to sit down there to say "that's the opposite of work"? Are you really that narrow minded? Dude, whichever way you look at it, she worked for her new look. If it were so easy, a lot of girls would have been doing it. Cutting off excess body fat via surgery is not a bad thing. It's not so different from cutting out appendix or tumor. Excess fat doesn't add any value and getting rid of it doesn't hurt other party. So the comparison with yahoo was the first signal of your shallow mindedness. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Ok... whatever. |
Pimine:Whatever she did to lose weight is work, provided it's not magic. Losing weight is not illegal. If you're equating it with yahoo, then the people around you should be wary of you cause you obviously can't tell the difference between what hurts others and what doesn't. |
Pimine:The work she put in to lose that weight, you might not be able to afford. And this is regardless of whatever she did to lose it, provided it's not magic. |
hadjipapiey:Glad you know this. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Isn't that a rather narrow understanding of what I wrote? That a rich man has a higher tendency of rejecting such an amount of money doesn't mean only the rich has the luxury of having high moral standards. It means that as humans, we have higher chances of not falling for the things we have in abundance. Someone with a German passport isn't going to easily fall for the prospects of traveling to the US. A poor farmer who grows cassava isn't likely to fall for a cassava bribe. The idea of sneaking out to play in the stream might appeal more to the rich kid than the poor kid. This is why I said "it is important to remember that people's situations are different". It's not primarily about wealth, but rather about taking coal to New Castle. I only mentioned money cause that is what this particular case is about. |
hadjipapiey:You didn't help her gain the new look, don't doubt her ability to maintain it. She has put in more work than most people into getting the body she wanted, you think she needs anyone that remind her not to lose it? |
Nice he has personal standards. We should all do whatever makes us happy and fulfilled and let others do thiers. It's also important to remember that people's situations are different and no one is a standard. So whoever takes up that job eventually isn't necessarily a bad person. Many Christian actors curse and smoke on TV to make the acting look as real as possible so as to send the desired message. Besides, it's easier to reject money when you have it. I pray you make the kind of money that will make you never to compromise your moral standards. |
This is actually sad. Those cables won't provide soft bedding for the bird and its chics, and they'd still fall apart cause plastics don't stick together like leaves. The mother bird only picked them up when it couldn't find the desired materials. It's probably frustrated. If I were there, I'd have personally sourced for the right kind of leaves for the poor thing. Please, let's not forget the importance of greenery in our cities. This is a good example of how the absence affects the ecosystem. I'm surprised people are just amazed by the bird's natural instincts instead of pointing out the obvious negative effects of deforestation. |
We didn't get a good view but that looks like a nurse shark. It has the typical tail fin of a shark but the head of a catfish. It could be black or brown. If the gills were shown in the video, I'd have been able to confirm that.

This is not a busy highway. Why snap the young guy? |
burp18:And the ashawos are all in love with thier clients? Are you a woman or do you just say these things so you'd keep having fun while you police and criticize the other party you're having the fun with? Anyway, if you read my comment, you'd have seen where I said this isn't about how anyone is built but the mere reality that if you keep sleeping around and encouraging one another to do so, your society will be full of those types of girls you don't wish to marry. So any argument you have to justify your promiscuity doesn't change the direct consequence of that promiscuity except you start doing it with your fellow men. |
See the way y'all are treating this guy's malicious intentions with kid gloves, laughing and making light of it. If it was a girl that created a thread asking how she could sleep with someone (even if it's someone her age), y'all would have been calling her all sorts of names. Just before you start telling me the biological and psychological differences between men and women, just remember not to come here tomorrow to lament that there's no one to marry. You can't expect only one gender to maintain the sanity in society while you wild around. No matter how much you train your girl child, they'll still mingle with the boy child you refused to hold accountable. And when they do, they can't bear the burden of morality all by themselves. |
Moh247:That's why I said "implied". Majority of the IPOB members are Igbos. So by calling hum that, you implied he was one. And that's why he felt the need to clarify. |
I don't understand how someone would call himself an alpha male and still spend all his time talking about women. You guys are making the ladies very powerful and important by constantly talking about them while they still live thier lives however they want regardless of what you say. People only give that amount of time to something they consider pivotal (e.g. the Nigerian election). In the past, women used to gather to discuss men. Today, the reverse is the case. And y'all still give yourselves titles like "red pill", "alpha male", etc. That's ridiculous. This generation is built different. Lol. |
Moh247:You implied he's from a certain tribe, he said he's not from that tribe, and then you turn around to ask him who cares. Lol... Nairaland people, you guys are full of it. |
christistruth01:They might not be able to keep the server offline for that long. The servers are not necessarily exposed to the internet, but they probably need to stay online to be functional while any fixing is happening. That's cause the server might not be one system but a collection of systems spread across multiple locations. Naturally, these systems are within an intranet only accessible to users in the same network/domain (or external users given VPN access). This already makes them hackable. Besides, I'm sure the organization are using some SaaS products that cannot work without internet connection. They said they have things in place to secure the servers. That's probably how they were able to detect the attempts and the sources. Detecting hack attempts doesn't mean they need to fix anything cause that's exactly what the system is designed to do. We just have to trust them to protect our data. |
Y'all should stop bringing skits to Nairaland and presenting them as if they actually happened. It reduces the worth of this platform and many of them only enforce stereotypes. |
BluntTheApostle:Ok... thanks. |
NaijaphiliaBlog:Ok. Thanks. |
jaeyking:Many of them in advanced countries seek therapy and, just like the OP, they try to match with partners who have extremely high libido. Many of them use intimacy gadgets to avoid sleeping around when still single. They don't like thier nature cause it distracts them from other things that matter and could expose them to STI's. Within the confinement of marriage, such a person could still live a decent life. Besides, I don't think it's in our place to say someone isn't God fearing cause of thier nature. It's all a matter of how they handle it. God fearing doesn't mean sinless. It means you know what wouldn't please God, and you do your best not to do it. And even when you do, you trace your way back. |
adler777:A quick question, were the meal tickets free back then? |
You're not borrowing, you're lending. Please, use the right words to avoid confusion. |
