Coldie:Are you expecting my response on this? Unfortunately I have none to give. Thank you. |
[quote author=Josipov post=85606431]From the title of the story, Abdul is very like to die. Just brace yourself. Abdul will not be the one to pay that price, or do you want my heart to shatter to pieces? If Kate whose skull was literally blown apart could come back to life, nothing stops my dear Abdul from surviving the bullet wound. And don't forget that help is already on its way. Remember Susan called Oscar and he's likely going to arrive in the next update. Dear Topher, please don't take Abdul away from me ooo. Help me beg your ink to cooperate, ok? |
Starboytwo:My dear, you don't need all this. Just pray that God will bless you so you can build your own house(s) in the choicest part of the city. At that time, you can even come back to repurchase the house from the current buyers and renovate it to your taste. Or buy another close to it's current location and convert it to an edifice. But until then, be alive for us and your loved ones. |
You better listen to majority advise given to you up there already and allow your siblings do whatever they like with the property. The issue of property or land dispute in Nigeria is always a delicate one and oftentimes leaves a trail of blood, tears and sorrow. Now that your siblings are asking nicely, you better cooperate and allow them sell the house. Work hard, build your own house and avoid the mistake your father made by not leaving a Will. Just thread cautiously to avoid story that touches the heart. And believe me that in some culture, as the children of the last wife, you have little or no say regarding your father's inheritance. |
Thanks for the update, Topher. You too much. How much I love you, Abdul. Your action drives me gaga! |
LoveElfrida:Why not keep up hope knowing your paths might cross again when you're finally ready to settle down and she's a bit relaxed with her career pursuit to venture into a relationship. Try belong to the world of possibilities and see things turning around for your good. Moreover, you can still maintain a distance friendship/relationship with her by sending goodwill messages to her once in a while. One day she might remember you never gave up on her. Honestly, I hate it when men, especially, give up easily on the woman they love. |
omoyami:Happy New Year, dear. Sorry I am seeing this now. May this year be a remarkable year for you, where your dreams and aspirations will be achieved. |
@ Giamem. You can't believe I am just seeing this. But how come it didn't drop as a mention on my page? Thank you, dear, I will read your story and I believe it will be captivating. |
valemtech:Sorry about that. |
souloho19:Happy New Year, Souloho. Please try and continue with this story. It shouldn't be allowed to go into oblivion. I am already beginning to forget the characters. Kindly find time to update, ok? Wishing you the best this New Year. |
Thank you for the update, Topher. You are indeed a man of your word. |
You guys should please calm down. Aside writing, these guys have other tasking activities they are doing. Understanding matters a lot. And don't forget we're not even paying for their stories, yet they keep on entertaining us. The best thing to do would be to reach out to them and know if they're even alright. I saw people lashing out at other writers as well. It's damn so unfair. Happy New Year, Fam. |
topher052:You are welcome, Sir. Wishing you a successful and great year ahead. |
souloho19:Ouch! Now I am feeling fly. Thank you, the seasoned writer himself. I am wishing you a very prosperous new year, Our Own Souloho. Thank you, bro. |
daddio: IT WASN'T ME by Shaggi |
Mike4S:Did you change the lock handed over to you by your landlord/landlady before moving in? They always have extra key to each tenant room /flat. |
Masterpiece! You are the man with the pen! Welldone Topher. You never disappoint. |
Masterpiece! You are the man with the pen! |
Yours is a case of misplaced priority, jare. Who female friends help? They will end up distracting you from your studies. Hello, hi, how are you, is ok for now with female folks. Studying medicine no be moi moi and it requires maximum concentration. If you know the vibe that comes with keeping some kind of friends, ehen, you will thank God for your life. And you're here getting depressed over bullshit. Be happy jor. At your free time, play lots of music, read your books, attend Bible study and forget about depression. Just focus and graduate, when you eventually become a doctor, I prove it to you that you will see, interact and become friends with so many women, especially if you're the type that knows your onion. Some female patient might not even likely get well until Doctor Helicbatcer personally attends to them. And what about those beautiful nurses that will be giving you body language upandan. Abi you no understand? There's always that particular doctor we naturally like the way he attends to us and that could be you. ![]() No matter how shy or introverted you're now, your profession would help roll away your shy ministry when you start practicing. So don't get worked up over nothing abeg. |
deltateam:That's the power of genuine love. It comes in the ability to forgive. |
theButterfly:Their matter tire me |
Two dramatic couple! You called her, she didn't pick. She called you, you also didn't pick. You forgot that she might not be able to pick your call while driving. You also didn't know that Police ooo, LASTMA ooo and all of them could even be on the road looking for last minute traffic offenders for the day to arrest so that this Christmas go gel die for their side. Abi you no remember say na last week before Christmas be this? Did I mention that traffic in Lagos these days is something else? But bros, you be Soldier? Because the way you take dey ORDER those two ladies inside the car tire me, Olorun. Two Crazy Lovers! Go settle your differences abeg ![]() |
Even my cousin is same height with you, but do you know what he did? He enrolled in Basketball trainings, aside his other hustles. Why not try combine your studies with same basketball class and have lesser time with your feelings. |
Macsjebs:I wish she could open up to Op so together they can solve whatever issue it is. |
Spiritfun:Amen in Jesus Name. Thank you Sir. |
Spiritfun:I thank God for your life. It's not easy to be celibate at a time like this. You're indeed a real man. Please have a deep conversation with her. If she loves you enough she ought to be free with you in letting you know what is it that's holding her back from accepting your marriage proposal. Could it be health related, spiritual, family issues, or a vow she made in the past? Look her deep in the eyes and tell her to be free with you and tell you the truth why she's been turning you down. And you can actually pray that God reveals whatever it is to you, and trust Him to do exactly that. I really pray the expectations of your heart shall not be cut short. |
God have mercy! What is this? |
Don't inform her yet about your plans to immigrate to Canada, that will definitely influence her marital decision. Propose again for the last time this Yuletide and if she declines you just flow with the relationship. A day or two to your departure to Canada, call her for a discussion and tell her that your desire was to travel out together and spend a lifetime with her, but since you weren't "good enough" for her, you have decided to leave the country alone. That you were actually processing both your travel documents until she declined your marriage proposal the third time. Tell her you pray she meets the type of man she desires. Wish her well and exit the scene. And please, make sure that last meeting holds at a neutral place where there will be no room for intimacy, to avoid leaving a child behind (after nine months) on your quest for greener pastures. I pray she says YES anyway! |
Forget that guy, he's a chronic liar and a user. He only comes around when he needs you. You deserve better. |
Dear Danyla, the handwriting on the wall is very clear. What other advise do you need? I beg you, my sister not to take a walk into an untimely death in the name of marriage. Marrying people of such character never ends well. And it's high time you begin to take the decisions of your life prayerfully. No grown man or woman changes after marriage, they most times become worse. And next time, limit the interference of friends in your relationship. Not all friends are genuine friends. |
Let's just say they're the Internal Police Force of the bank. They make sure rules, regulations and policies of the bank are kept (not violated). They are tasked with the duties of: 1. Ensuring that the inflow and outflow of cash balances or corresponds at the close of business. 2. If there's "shortage" (when money received at the end of business is less than the ledger amount /records) and "overage" (when there's excess of such fund), they work with the Cash Officers to find out where the Cashiers got it wrong and rectify it. 3. They are tasked with reporting any fraud that takes place in the branch/ bank to the appropriate authorities WITHIN the bank. 4. They have the authority to take stock or inventory of the bank assets at anytime. 5. They make sure documents of the bank are not abandoned or littered carelessly by the officers of the bank. They achieve this by making unannounced "sweep" preferably early in the morning. If they find any vital documents of the bank abandoned on the table overnight by any officer, they have the right to sanction such officer. 6. They are saddled with the responsibility of making sure the bank door keys, vault keys, etc are kept with the authorised person(s). 7. They make sure to be present whenever the ATM is to be reloaded with cash, to avoid pilfering. 8. Compliance Officers are dreaded in the bank because they don't really have much friends within the bank as a result of their job functions. 9. Have I mentioned that most of them are very wicked? Yes, you heard me right. They are wicked and inhumane as the case may be. Probably due to the fact that their promotion is tied to how many Internal thieves they are able to catch and how many law breakers in the bank they're able to report. The wicked and inhumane part is when every other staff says a particular staff is innocent and Compliance Officer agrees, but still goes ahead to send a query to the "innocent" staff copying almost the whole various departments of the bank! Haba! That's too much nah. 10. In some banks, they're the ones that generate ATM pins to the bank's customers. 11. They have access to the CCTV Room and Footage in the bank. 12.Those guys can write report for Africa. And they wedge too much power in the bank. 13. And they hardly laugh. They think been friendly will make them less serious amongst other staff of the bank. Let me conclude by saying that if you really want your former colleagues to see you tomorrow and run to embrace you, please don't be a Compliance Officer, otherwise try to apply wisdom on your job. And avoid stepping on too many toes while in the service of the bank, because there's always life outside the bank. Thank you. |
souloho19:You are welcome. Sure I will be taking a ride to that Story City where the damned devil wears Okirika, soon. May your pen never lack ink, Souloho. |
