12 weeks today, as for coccidiosis, yes, i normally use embazin forte, and my lasota is up to date, and I use toxin binder always, even I still met one died today again

Are u sure they don't have respiratory form of fowlpox? It dealt with my 600 broilers. Check for any sign of respiratory problem and any sign of pox on the face. Try some other drug for coco - maybe amprolium or agracox or coccifor etc. If u can upload a picture of the pen and dead bird it might be helpful.

Oh, that's good for u. I hope u are not one of their owners. Well, if I knew u, I would have sent u a username and password of a hosted website to see.
I have other websites I hosted with other hosts that haven't given that issue before. And this is the second website from that host I have experienced.
It was when I tried another host I knew it wasn't me.
In fact search on nairaland, there is a thread someone opened on this issue of smartweb.Even to access the cpanel is an issue.

I am not one of their owners. I'm just telling u my experience. When I had problem with them was when I was still a newbie, not knowing how to handle simple error messages, and some of them were actually my fault. At a later time my site got hacked due to old, unudated plugins and they did not have a backup. But after those initial crisis I've not had any problem with them. If u can state the exact problem u face maybe I can help u. Also open an urgent ticket.

Hello able farmers in the house, especially those dat av been of help since all this days trough ur contribution towards helping others lik me, i lost one of my 98 broilers last two weeks , bigger one for that matter without any traces or any recognise causative agents, so, I keeps doing what I know how to do best on them, last nite again i just came back from work , only to met another two died already, bigger ones again, without any traces of illness whatsoever, then I decided to carry out little research on their death by cutting their stomach , my discovery was 1,their intestine were covered by a thin substance dat look like lynon , 2:,the intestine is so large than normal apart from this, every other tins are normal, could it be that their is too much fat in their feed which i also suspected cos I av been making feed since wen they are 6weeks with inclusion of full fat soya, I'm just confused, the birds are well okay and very active, i just need ur advices to avoid further occurrences and they are 12 weeks now

Stay away from smartweb, they are just an apology and scam at Tue same time. I tried them twice and they have proved to be unfit, u will hardly be able to install your site, and when u do, u can't update.

Nice points Fluentifor. Any serious farmer that want to go large scale shud pls and pls start with inorganic oo. That is, if u love ur investment. There are diseases u can't simply control with organic sprays. Even organic farmers in advanced countries will go inorganic when things get tough. After that batch they go back to organic. Also using things like ginger and garlic can be quite costly oo. By the time u calculate how many you will need for just 10 plots of land u'll understand.

As for fans of 100% organic, I encourage u guys to keep it up. I myself will be doing my own experiments. Who knows what we will find out? the things I will like to eliminate is not fertilizers but deadly insecticides and fungicides.

wrt health, organic farming is king. Bad effect of inorganic farming range from cancer, birth defects, infertility etc. A woman giving birth to an abnormal child is a case of birth defect which certain chemicals can cause.

But the problem with we African farmers is that while applying these chemicals, we don't take safety precautions. I have seen an illiterate farmer boosting that he survived herbicide sprays in his eyes. I saw another using his bare hand to mix a toxic insecticides. Some farmers dont even observe reentry interval and preharvest interval. Lack of safety precautions like these only lead to bad things.

I am also guilty of some of these misuse of chemicals but after reading about the dangers involve, I have vowed to obey safety laws. I love organic farming but the truth is that our people are not ready to pay for it. Organic produce are not cheap. Until we find a way to make it. cheap, I'll stick to that sweet spot between organic. and inorganic farming. I call it Orginorga.

Have you heard about @tinworthorganic farm or OPE Farm, They are very big organic farm doing great in Nigeria. I am also developing mine... When it's done, it will be open for many to replicate. Agreed you have to be special to achieve results.

I'll like to add that potassium bicarb is more powerful than sodium bicarb. potassium nitrate is also powerful.

There are a lot of insecticides in the MKT - ddvp, lambda y'all the in etc. But allow about 1wk to pass b/4 u harvest to avoid too much residue.

If you can find land that is close to a water source you can also practice dry season farming - where the money is. There is also less disease pressure. I currently looking for such land in ogbaru area.
