Obnoxious2001:
Without much epistle, So I sent a wrong account no.,a correct Bank name and account name to a friend who I was expecting some funds from.

No he copied the acct no. And sent the money (to another person, the wrong acct. No. I provided)....

Now we had a discussion which lead to analysing the situation and I told him we both have blames on this transaction, but he doesn't want to acknowledge his fault.

Now the main question is
If you sent money to a wrong bank acct, who is to blame
You should be blame. You sent a wrong account no to him

Your friend probably assumed that you were known by other names that appeared on the wrong account

jesusjnr2020:
Has The Spirit Of Stealing Been Unleashed On Our Kids This Christmas?

Many are finding the AI-generated images of kids being chased with stolen food, especially chicken with regards this Christmas season very amusing, hence why it's been trending of late, however that also illustrates how much the devil has blinded the eyes of many with his subtle tactics, that they can't even see that it's actually stealing they're finding very funny, as though stealing was now something to joke about. Worse still, when little children were being depicted as the perpetrators.

And considering how easily and fast it is for our little children to imitate what they see others do, especially when it has to do with kids like themselves, it seems a deliberate plan of the enemy to activate the spirit of stealing in our children using the opportunity of the Christmas period.

It's not a coincidence that this is also the most dangerous period of the year, where the most stealing and criminal activities were pepertrated by the adults, so it appears the plan is to also implant this bad habit into younger ones so as to entend this ugly trend well into our future generations.

So this is not something Christians should take lightly but be on their guards for their wards, because when the enemy via his LGBTQ+ crew said he was coming next for our children, it wasn't a joke.

He actually meant it however we shouldn't expect him to come in an obvious way, but in a cunning way which is more difficult to detect, considering how subtle he is in his applications and devices.

That's why we should be very alert and pray for our children like we've never done before, especially in this Christmas season which also stands as the most dangerous time of the year, so that whatever the enemy devices against them, none shall by any means harm them.

God bless.
So where in the picture does that depict a boy running away with a stolen meat?

Your mindset isn't open to see many perspectives to the picture. Anyway, we see things differently based on how much we know

What if it's the woman that's trying to take thr meat away from the boy?

Don't be too quick to judge, you don't know the inspiration behind the drawing. You are not in the mind of the artist. They are deep thinkers not shallow minded like you

Where doest it work? With this method how many students can sit comfortably and pass waec? U are saying laziness. If 90% of them will be lazy, then it's not them, it's the teacher
Imagine, using waec as a yardstick.

I ll give you an example, As far back as jss 3, a student was taught change of subject of formula in mathematics. That's lack of basics. You can't build something on nothing

Now in SS3 physics exam, he couldn't find the resistance of a circuit from a given data of current and voltage.

Waec is use to test your knowledge on subject matter over the years, not in a particular class.

The question is ... does it work? If your assessment will be true more than 50% of your students will fail. We understand the purpose, we are not dumb, what we are saying is the method doesn't work. If most of the students will find it difficult to solve does that make it a good method even when you have the best intentions? Have you seen Indian textbooks? Have u seen how easy it Is to follow and solve thier exercises? Can you say Nigerian students are smarter than Indian kids? Why is it that same Nigerians who don't do well in school do better when they Japa? Does that not tel you that that method is not working for them? We don't care about your intentions, we only care about the result of your methods and its not working for students in Nigeria. I was also a teacher...it's not learning...it's just confusing students
It works, those that seek knowledge finds it. The lazy ones go about complaining. The beauty about knowledge is your ability brainstorm and figure out stuff.

The brain is a powerful tool ....put it to use

I'm now 44 years old, married with kids, have my own house, self employed and doing well in business ,good, stable and predictable cash flow.. I had fought so many difficult wars and habits in my 44 years on Earth, one of the most difficult is nail biting.

Why do teachers teach the simple part especially of subjects that have calculations and leave the students to solve the hard part that is unrelated to the simple one they taught?

Same with text book writers. They will give an example with a simple question, but when it comes to excerices, they expect the students to solve harder ones that are not related to the examples they solved.

I don't see that as a way of making the students smart. If you will ask them to solve a problem show them how to solve a problem of same level of difficulty.

Learning should be simple but we want to compicate it.

The result is seen in our graduating students, most EnD up not being able to solve simple problems because they have been confused. If the method is not working, then change it!
That's wrong

The problem we have is the application of knowledge gained in the four walls of the classroom.

Both examples and the so called 'hard exercises ' don't teach that.

Now , coming to your question about simple examples and difficult exercise.....As a teacher, I have given you a solid foundation, I will like you to put the creative part of your brain into use by solving or attempting to solve the difficult exercise before the next class

Nobody will spoon feed you in life, once you get the basics, run with it and get better by the day
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Was The First Human To Celebrate Jesus? by femi4: 11:49am On Dec 24, 2023
jesusjnr2020:
Who Was The First Human To Celebrate Jesus?

According to the Bible, the first ever person on Earth to celebrate Jesus was an unborn child (fetus of John the Baptist), however even more astonishing is the fact that Jesus was just an embryo (only a few weeks after His conception) when He was first celebrated by the fetus of John.

Luke 1:35-36 (KJV)

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and Who this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

Luke 1:39-42 (KJV)

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

This wasn't a coincidence but a divine orchestration by God using the instance of His only begotten Son to prove that life of a human begins at conception, not birth, hence why it is nothing but pure murder to end the life even if it's at the earliest stages of pregnancy.

Imagine if the mother of Jesus had not valued the life of Jesus at this early stage, but sought to abort the pregnancy because she thought He wasn't yet human but just an embryo?

There would be no Jesus for John the Baptist to celebrate at that early stage of His life, not to talk of celebrating His birth as was being done today, 2000 years later.

Let's learn to value the life of the unborn child today, if not because of anything else, because of Jesus.

God bless.
Unborn Child is a foetus or embryo not human. Stop complicating simple stuff

Look at it, sex is the only thing and place where we have restriction.

Considering The Law in Genesis 2 before The Law in Exodus, we were free in all things eg we were free to eat food,, clothes, travel, relating with people from any tribe, cars, houses, animals etc

But the only thing that we are not allowed to do is to have sex.

The Commandment even Said "Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And it is in sex that we tell our liitle children as they are growing "Do not let anybody touch you ooh"

It is in sex we say "no dey touch my pikin like dat/i no like how you dey touch me"

It is in sex and for sex that you will hear women say "if you touch me, you go die"

It is in sex that touching is also cheating in marriage.

And it is in sex thst you are not allowed to have sex outside your marriage.
You are wrong, it is not sex. The forbidden fruit is a fruit of knowledge

Gen 2:17

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.

My wife and I are expecting our first child, so currently I'm saving up money before the baby comes, we are also trying to get baby things of almost 400k.

But she wants me to buy Christmas rice for her mom. I've already decided that I'm not buying anything for anyone this December, including my own mom. But she wants me to buy for her mom which I refused becauze my baby is more important.
Mind you, she has elder ones who can't even get anything for their mom this December (she's the youngest). I just lied to her that I'm broke and I don't have any money. But I have close to 1.7 million which I want I to save for the baby and also get a car for when the baby comes.

I'm I making the right decision by ignoring everyone this December or should I take like 100k and just buy a bag of rice and share to the mom.

Personally I don't want to spend a dime on anyone because my child is the most important thing right now
No, you are not balancing the equation. Instead of buying rice, give her money and explain your decision to wife.

Giving them nothing will not be wise, do that which is within your budget. Besides , you can buy other stuff like yam, semovita etc that's not as costly as a bag of rice
