The sad reality is that by the time these girls realize that the world doesn't revolve around them, they'll already be in their 30s. During their early and mid twenties, most just date for fun and finance, they hardly take men serious so they keep loosing responsible guys until there's none left coming for them.

The truth is if you're a girl in your 30s and still want to get married, don't be broke. Be a career person or successful business woman, men would still respect you and would want to plan a future with you. You can never experience loneliness.

But If you're broke in your 30s, just forget about a partner; no man would even consider dating or marrying you...cos you're a liability.

Madness. I blame the churches and families that accept to make wives out of hoes. They will ask for genotype, blood group test and pregnancy test but they will not ask if the couples, especially the lady is sexually pure as a precondition for the solemnization of a marriage. Then when the couples start having sexually related issues in their marriage they will start rubbishing the marriage institution instead of calling out the fools that joined two misfits in an unholy matrimony. If every clergyman and every family enforced the virginity of ladies before marriage, this foolish mother will not allow her daughter have sex before marriage let alone going as far as recommending family planning for an underage girl and even the girl will never try any sexual nonsense knowing fully well she would be jeopardizing her chances of getting married. This will elevate the punishment for rape to capital punishment and will make rape victims easily prove their case.

See this one. Does he have legal advisers? The change of name passed through a process at the state house of Assembly before it got changed so he cannot unilaterally change it like that. Moreso there is a pending matter in court as a person challenged the change of name and I think he won at the court of first instance and there is an Appeal. So the Governor lacks the power to unilaterally reverse the name but am sure the court will do that. I hope this man is not dull oooooo.

So, I've been seeing this lady for some time now. June this year, I began taking her serious - she ticked some qualities I wanted in my future wife, not that she's perfect, I'm not either.
Her faults are those I felt I could live with.

She mentioned a local politician as a friend of hers prior to now. I was curious, the man is quite notorious with women and serious guys don't like to come near any lady that comes off as being close to the said politician. She told me they never dated, that they had outings a few times, had food and drinks and it ended there. That the said politician wanted to date her but she declined because she doesn't date married men and their friendship ended because he wanted to date her and she doesn't want to. I didn't quite believe the story but took it with a pinch of salt.

When she visited me at Ibadan some months ago, she received a call from a male neighbour of hers which she abruptly stopped midway. Told me it was her caring neighbor calling to know how she's doing having not seen her in the neighborhood for some days. My question was "is that how he calls every neighbour to know how they are doing or what's special in your case?

On her birthday, we were together, I saw a few messages on her phone that really didn't sit well with me. Her mum's doctor sent her a message describing her as his runaway lover. Another guy that always gave her missed calls scripted a beautiful message for her. Both of them married. She explained it away that there was nothing between she and them.
At this point, I chose to softpedal on marriage plans, even though I have made enquiries at the registry, I didn't move past that. Whereas she gave me the phone number of her paternal relation for me to call on engagement details, I put a hold on that. Also, the money I credited her account with to buy engagement ring, I left there without further action.

I visited Lagos and paid her a visit, she lives alone and told me no man ever visited her place and the moment I came, she happily announced me to her neighbors as her fiance.
While in her bedroom days ago, a guy walked in on us. Said he's been knocking on the door and didn't get a response. How did he know to go to her bedroom and not the sitting room? What if we were naked? She got up, walked the guy out and came back to apologize. That the guy is her colleague at work and knows her place because he assists her in getting stuffs done whenever she needs help and that he was just in the neighborhood and wanted to pay a visit on her. And didn't call your line? She said she missed his call. I declined to speak further.

Earlier, she had declined to give her body count even when I gave mine. However, in our discussions, various names of her past relationships keep popping up meanwhile she had given me this look and act of a church girl.

Earlier in the life of our relationship, she told me of how she lived with her deceased eldest sister as a teenager and her husband routinely abused her. She was cold and sad saying it, I felt her pains too, I asked if the man was sleeping with her and she was silent; I took this to mean yes.
Fast forward to when we began planning marriage, she wanted me to talk to same brother-in-law as an important member of her family. I reminded her of the abuse charge against the man but she denied it, saying the man wanted to date her while she lived under his roof and that she refused, that he never slept with her. Now he revers the man as a good man, that they are still in touch.
