abc115:Ask Obiano......carry airport go him village...… very remote place. Most people coming to Onitsha or Anambra south and central senatorial districts will always prefer Asaba to Anambra Airport... political consideration over viability in siting of important projects in Nigeria. |
AllenSpencer:......And the annoying thing is that the Road safety Marshalls that are supposed to checkmate these trucks are no where to be seen on the federal highways. They are busy in the inner interstate and local council roads issuing tickets to sound private cars. The dysfunctionality of the country is second to none. Every body is doing as he or she wants.....no accountability |
How some people believed that Tinubu would take ECOWAS to war in Niger surprised me. I knew he would never do that. How would the invasion even be sef with division within ECOWAS?? |
So, he is now an ex convict? But how do men use this sex gadgets? For women , It is understandable. |
Uzodimma may be declared winner of the pool before 1pm on election day. PDP, LP and other lite parties are doing what their presidential candidates did that handed APC victory. The same would be repeated in Edo state. In Anambra, LP and PDP would work "hand -in- hand" to hand the second tenure to Soludo's APGA and they will come back later to ask, "waatapun"?? ![]() |
I am sure PDP must be regretting their treatment of G-5. The G-5 seem to be the winner. Imagine if Atiku had agreed to Wike's terms....they thought they could win without him. He showed them pepper and pdp is now behaving like a jilted lover that doesn't want to let go. Anyway, they still believe that the man is still with them when he announced that he got approval from pdp to be a minister in Tinubu's government. |
To be fair, three months to file audited financial statement is not enough. A lot goes into the audit of account and subsequent filing of returns....you see reason why some companies don't want to go public. They will rather prefer to be held privately to offering their shares for listing on the floor of the Nigeria stock exchange. At least, six months after the close of financial year is ideal. |
Opportunity to exploit the private schools that fails to reopen on the said date. You will see some officials of LASG Ministry of education moving around in bus on the 4th, taking note of private schools that failed to open. They will now be asked to come and pay hefty fine for failing to reopen on the day announced by LASG. |
It boils down to what I earlier said before: the quality of men these days is becoming terribly low. "Your woman " scolding you for looking at her "private part"?? My brother, you are a "side brother" to her. For her to alter that statement means you have not been given the opportunity to....... You know what I mean. Please leave her and focus on your hustle. |
Getbizzzy:If you are sure that you have a valid work permit, I think there is a new public policy that allows holder's of valid work permits that are already in Canada to go to school without applying for study permit. But you must continue to maintain the validity of your work permit without getting out of status while schooling. Just check with IRCC....I am sure of that new policy. |
I have started sending mine but all within my neighbourhood. I am amazed at the social skills and interaction they have built. These were people that hardly greets people when walking with them on the streets. I used sending them errands to teach them "money and the change" system, which they have grasped well. They are 8 and 9. There is nothing i wont tell them to buy without them getting the right amount of change. You can send them within your vicinity but not across the streets. They do go across the streets but with my house girl. I give my 9 year old my card to buy things within the neighbourhood or collect cash from a POS nearby. It is just a way of getting her used to certain things. In as much as our environment is toxic, polluted and dangerous, I wouldn't want them to miss a major part of their development, which is social skills and awareness of one's immediate environment. OP, also try and walk around with them in your neighbourhood so that people would know that they are yours in case of emergency or if they miss road, others will recognise them and alert you. |
ColdHunter:You have to identify the school you want to apply to and search if they have any scholarship available. Note also that scholarships may be available but only to domestic students. Scholarships are usually processed at the time of admission and if you are selected, details would be included as part of your offer letter. There are scholarships that are given to already admitted students based on academic performance. You have to check the school website to see what are available. Note that it is extremely hard to get scholarships into nursing program as an international student in Canada. Why not explore the option of getting into the two year diploma program in practical nursing to get your licensing first? Most people that goes for masters in nursing in Canada are already nursing practitioners with licenses and registered with their respective provinces with valid status maintained with their various professional bodies. Good luck! |
At the end, what happens Training and leadership retreats makes no meaning to a typical Nigerian politician. |
I can't eat Ogbono soup without enough Okro and other sea edibles in it |
These people saying toothbrush and boxers, I hope they are not married. I don't even know which ones are my own toothbrush and the ones that belongs to my wife...neither does she. We have like five in a toothbrush cup holder and anyone could use any....I don't know which one is mine....except if she finishes brushing with one and I want to brush, I would pick any dry one in the cup, which she may have even used yesterday. As for casual shorts and T shirts or joggers, she uses mine, wear some of my t shirts and short joggers. Even though she is a signatory to my account, I may not be favorably disposed to letting her know of any major inflow if I have plans for the money, which may be different from hers. There are certain things she would want to buy which I considered luxury and unnecessary and on that note, I wouldn't want her to know of any major inflow that I received. Na sense person dey take marry wife and maintain peace at home. |
And just yesterday, it was 860 and Aboki asked me to buy. Lots of people are in their homes cashing out on this naira problems. Imagine if one had bought $10000 @860, which is N8600000m and sold at 920 today, which is 9200000m....a cool 600k just made in one day!! |
Don't tell them how much you bought the house o. If the price you paid for the house is in millions, my brother, you must pay that N500k. NEPA always assesses once capacity to pay in that kind of situation. |
….And some will be here shouting, "come home and invest". The kind of crime and greed going on in Anambra state is terrible. Try and want to start up something or buy land, you will see hell. |
You didn't do anything wrong. Don't feel guilty or allow yourself to be blackmailed. He is just being unappreciative. Beating you for what?? Sad that some men are here, defending the man. As a man, when you fall, you pick up the pieces and work towards getting your feet back. Here, he saw an ATM machine in you and relaxed.....this is the reason why most women hardly reveal their earnings to their husband....The quality of men these days is becoming terribly low. |
He can't do any serious enforcement with the current crop of FCT staff. He may have to import his Ikwerre thugs from PH to head the different tasks forces he would set up in Abuja. |
Scam wey don cast tey tey!!! Na people wey never know still dey fall mugu for that scam My kids are here playing their hearts out; learning how to write the best of letters. poems and readings - these are the added skills I want them to develop. Not to go to school environment and starts learning the usual subjects and being taught by the same set of teachers; Here, they are learning all the house chores, washing their plates, loading their clothes in the washing machine, getting extremely comfortable with the use of computers for productive activities and running errands for me and their mum that involves collection of change after buying things - sounds funny - they are getting used to money and the change system - not the one taught them in school. My 8 year son, before he goes out to buy something for me, he would do his mathematics well to determine what the change would be - I will send him on errand that will warrant him to buy multiple things with cash and be able to pay and come back with the correct change. else, he would repeat the errand.Schools no go see my leg with them during the summer holiday. |
This is what I have come to notice in Lagos and Nigeria. It is not just the bustop shelters but parks and green field areas. You can't go to any open park in Lagos without being afraid of strange faces loitering around. This is what you get when you ignore human capital development. Structures don't build societies....it is the quality of humans....reason why there has to be a mind set shift among greater population of Nigerians. The human quality index of majority of nigerians is terribly low. For those surviving on the streets, public infrastructure and good ambience makes no sense to them. Drive through Marina down to CMS and see how that road has been turned to motor park with all kinds of agberoism and thuggery going on, on daily basis....a supposedly high brow area with concentration of corporate head offices. |
HBB1:Very apt. Trust me, if one uninformed and backwards person was the president during obasanjo's time, he wouldn't have signed the presidential power, permitting the issuance of GSM licenses to mtn and Co. He would have regarded GSM as not being good for every body. Obasanjo beats all the presidents after him hands down. |
I just don't know why Yar adua didn't allow Soludo to proceed with that plan....Soludo did a solid job in planning for naira. For reasons best known to Yaradua, he rejected the plan and went ahead not to reappoint Soludo....Reason why Obasanjo remains the best. He gave his team the opportunity to see through their plans andprogrammes. Yaradua or any northern president wouldn't have allowed the 2005 banking consolidation to happen. Tinubu should not try the policy now. It is long outdated.....it would have been good if Soludo had implemented it then..... lots have changed since then, both at the micro and macro levels.....lots of economic determinants. The ship has sailed...Tinubu should explore other economic alternatives. |
So sad!! He seemed to be a stranger to the kids... see how they gazed at his corpse like strangers that were told to come and have a look at something. Men, be close to your children, especially, your daughter(s). When you buy things, let them know that you bought them. Be present in all they do and show interest in their activities. |
I am not against love o, but first thing first. OP, leave women matter and face your NYSC program squarely. I hope you went to camp with your GMAT and SHL book to be rehearsing. Job hunting has started and there should not be any distraction. Please, leave any form of serious relationship or commitment and focus on your survival as an upcoming young man. The road ahead is tough and could be frustrating. Men that focus on their survival first will later have retinue of ladies coming to them after achieving a stable career while those that ignored their own success will have retinue of women ran away from them later in life. I am talking from experience. Be focus!!! |

Surprisingly, Afghanistan have been relatively peaceful since the beginning of this year - There has not been any bombing or suicide person attacking people. The attackers are now the people ruling. |
The business centre wey UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand open for our heads no be for here. Their immigration systems are well organized, which were set up to milk people. Imagine subjecting me to IELTS every two years when I can challenge the best of speakers in those countries in English language. You can't even hear or understand what most natives from those countries say when they open their mouths to speak English. |
It is okay. You guys did well. But honestly, I thought she would score, looking at the way she was dishing instructions to other takers, may be where to place the ball, prior to the kick. The loss pain me sha. I would have loved that they passed through the three lioness. Go to the English conversation platforms and see their comments. I am always happy any time an English national team is eliminated. Though I always have sympathy for their club sides because of my love for the premier League - at least, one of the least racism - prone top leagues in Europe. |
I wonder how couples allows issues to get to stage of going physical on each other. Always have your best wedding pictures hung in your living rooms and bedroom. It brings memories of happy times when you gaze at the picture of both of you smiling at each other on that very day. It helps to ward off distrust and hatred. That's what I come to realize, at least in my own marriage. Being an Optometrist doctor, the woman may be higher than him in social standing. This is one of the worst nightmares of some men - common with men from my part of the country with inferiority complexes, if his education is limited. Something that men should be proud of, and see as a blessing that they have a professional woman as wife. But, no! To some, it is a threat to their unfounded fears and egos. Looking at the man's picture, you could tell his kind of person. I am not exonerating the wife but being cool and resilient under serious provocation by your wife is not a sign of weakness but a greater sign of maturity. My wife usually comes back to apologize whenever she gets me upset and I "failed" to react negatively. She would apologize deeply, pamper me well and tried to regig the union. But anytime I reacted harshly, she distances herself. We should all endeavour to understand our spouses, especially how to press their " mumu button" to get what we want and have a stable union. Nigeria, as it is now, is difficult and, every body is angry; some transferring the anger to their supposedly loved ones at home. |
