I know the guy very well. He had his office at the popular New Market Road Onitsha I met him when I wanted to enroll for my ICAN and to write the professional examination of the Chartered Institute of Strategic Management or ISM. He was then the president of the Institute in Anambra and Coordinator for the entire SE. Very talented guy and his knowledge of local business environment is second to none. He was part of those that encouraged me to sit for ICAN. I had my first degree in Engineering. |
First: Ensure that your gadgets are top-notch. Your data and video quality of your phone or laptop should be superb Second: Have your jotter and pen to take note - that shows you to be a listening person and one who takes note Third: Do not interrupt any of the interviewer when he or she is talking. Wait till he or she is done for you to respond. Manage your impulse very well. Fourth: Learn very well how to introduce yourself with emphasis on your current role and achievements. Fifth: Make your answers short, simple and action-packed. Use more of action words in your explanation. Sixth: Do not fail to ask intelligent questions at the end of the interview. Your question should center on current challenges facing the industry where the company is operating. Your question should have something to do with current happenings or what you recently read, Good luck! |
Hunger don hold this one. He couldn't secure any better offer since leaving Nigeria. It is like leaving leaving SHELL and getting hired by a Filing Station. |
And here in Lagos, INEC are still at their distribution and sorting center. No voting yet and hundreds of people have gathered since 7am in my pulling unit. |
APC have gone beyond ballot snatching in this election. Snatching ballot boxes is now outdated in the rigging sector. Everything now stealth, with great execution. There is a confirmation now trending that the Labor party logo is not on the national and state house of assembly ballot papers for the election in Lagos State alone. I wonder how that error could have by passed INEC if there was no insider, working in tandem with corrupt party leaders. |
Honestly, the insecurity in the country is hindering the growth of tourism in the country. See how the place is empty despite the natural beauty that it radiates. |
All these vague promises of delivering humongous votes to candidates, how does it work? Do they go about collecting votes and then deliver it to their preferred candidate// ![]() |
studyless123:There are people that genuinely obtained their medical qualifications but are still careless and reckless in practice. Some may have forged theirs and still remain cerebral and professional in practice. Though I dont support forgeries and fraud in whatever form.We have lots of qualified medical personnel in Nigeria that are reckless. The issue of professionalism and skill set is innate. It is something that comes naturally with a person. |
The microfinance Bank job may be an opportunity for her to break into corporate Nigeria. If the position offered is in finance, treasury, IT, internal control, admin or operations, she should take the bank job. The problem with teaching in Nigeria is that it is easy to get "lost" and become unemployable in corporate world because of lack of basic professional working skills. For a career minded person, the microfinance job is the best fit, irrespective of the pay and the potential stress she may pass through. But the job would help her to build, acquire and accumulate some capabilities that would help her in later years while looking for other opportunities. |
Bayelsa, with all the oil money, the state has nothing to show. Sylva is interested in the State's treasury. |
I am not justifying the use of fake prerequisite for sitting the board exam. The truth is that these people are brilliant to have passed the board exam. Most of them may have majored in sciences, arts and social sciences that are not nursing. But because of the desire to qualify as a nurse, they forged a nursing diploma, which is a requirement for sitting for the board exam. I can relate it to passing ICAN in Nigeria. I didn't study accounting in school. But I sat for the accounting board exam, which is ICAN and passed. Some that studied accounting have not yet passed the accounting board exam which is ICAN. In this case, the requirements for the accounting board exam is a degree from any discipline. However, fraud and forgeries are not acceptable anywhere. If getting nursing diploma is a requirement before sitting for board exam, let it be. If you want to sit for the exam, then go back to school and obtain a nursing diploma. |
Obi has not been strategic with his campaign. He should stop wasting resources where he is considered strong. His running mate should have drawn up a road map on how to win over undecided voters in the north and penetrate deeper into areas he is considered unpopular. I just want to make a common sense. |
Next time, take your time and arrange your documents with necessary headings before you submit your visa application. For in person interview, package your appearance and look "take away" in a nice corporate suite for men and flowing gown for women. Be audible and exudes confidence when you are talking. |
Labor party should stop campaigning in areas that are already considered their strongholds. They should focus their scarce resources on opposition strongholds to grab some undecided voters in those opposition strong holds. Labor party are spending so much time in areas that are already considered their strongholds. Campaign should be strategic and targeted. |
The man is seriously under panic. He is afraid that APGA candidates in the next coming election would be defeated. The flag off is more of a campaign for APGA candidates than real commissioning. You won't see those bulldozers by next month. Soludo has not completed any single project since he was elected. |
I love the way Airtel mentioned that MTN marketing slogan. "What are we doing today". |
Adeleke won't survive this. He is a gonner. The odds are starked against him. He is culpable on the two count charges up for determination. The tribunal had earlier agreed with Oyetola on the issue of over voting and certificates forgery. However, I don't know if the judges were right on over voting. But the tribunal is funny. You are aware of the certificate forgery. But you acquitted him on the charges because he had acquired other certificate that still could not be proved. Forgery is forgery even if you later acquire another certificate. This case will set a precedent. So, the appeal judges should thread with caution and allow justice to prevail. Let's not be bias because of our political affiliations. |
07kjb:Honestly, we don't have. We explored all options. Most of the young relatives from both sides seems ok and are living with their parents or running their own show. Only my sisters kids, who are grown ups helps when universities are on strike or vacation |
nakoks:My nephew and nieces goes there once in a while to help, especially when universities are on strike. The last strike relieved her a lot as my sisters sent their kids, who were on strike to stay with their grandparents |
I don't know why having domestic servants like drivers, gateman or cook dey fear me, just like my mum. My mum has refused all pleas from my sisters to have nanny and driver to help her in taking care of my dad. My sisters have done everything to persuade her to accept nanny and driver to help her with domestic chores while she takes care of my dad, who is recovering from sickness. She refused and has continued to do all by herself. Her reason being that as old couple, they are vulnerable to any nanny's and driver's bad intentions and wouldn't want to harbour a stranger in her home at this age considering the constant stories of nanny's murdering their aged madam and disappearing. |
This event happened in Wheatbaker hotels, Ikoyi. They all came in honour of AIG Imoukede foundation. It happened around December last year. Atedo Peterside was supposed to be in that group picture but he was grossly engaged in a discussion with a foreign diplomat that graced the occasion. |
I haven't stepped out of my house since the scarcity started |
Bruxxels:Excellent! You got |
Europe never see anything!! As the sanction on Russian continues to bite the Russians, the Europeans are also feeling the heat. The impact of falling standard of living and high cost of living is making lots of Europeans to curtail their spending. Disposal income is falling within the EU as cost of living soars. Yet, US that is prolonging the war is not affected by the impact of the war. EU countries are the most impacted. |
Punch is funny: Major General Muhammadu Buhari. Punch said that they will be addressing him as major general Muhammadu Buhari instead of President Muhammad Buhari because of his undemocratic tendencies and they are living up to that |
Electricians, plumbers, bricklayers, labourers, mechanics, rewire, dispatch rider, carpenters etc. Most of them have one thing in common |
Dirtyyansh:Hello, I have seen lots of them got married to big four ladies. The hours are usually long, especially if she is in audit ie assurance department. One thing is sure: the lady must be a very smart lady, conservative, intelligent, hardworking and ambitious to have made it to big four. These are the hallmark of some of the ladies that works with the big four. I will advise your brother to continue with the relationship. Long hours should not be a show-stopper in the relationship. Big four is a great learning environment for anyone. It would be a matter of time, she would secure another higher paying job in another company or even take the Canada route if japa is on the card. Big four staff are always upwardly mobile because of their training and experience. They are usually snapped by others after putting in two to five years. Let your brother not mind the hours and move on with the lady if he loves her. The future reward is far higher than any current inconvenience. All the very best to him! |
So sad! Loosing opportunities because of one's physical disabilities is always painful. This should be discouraged in Nigeria. Sorry and pick yourself up. |
You simply can't keep up with lies. You will tell another lie to cover up the previous one until the bubble burst. Be plain and truthful always. I don't know the reason behind age falsification in Nigeria. It's so common. People forget that they celebrated their birthdays in the past when they were younger, reflecting their true age. As desperation starts in the later years with unaccomplished goals, falsification of age sets in. Anyway, she has passed the message. Don't know why some people hates hearing that people should go and collect their PVC and vote wisely. For some politicians and their idiotic supporters, people should not collect their PVCs and they should not vote wisely. Rather, they should vote foolishly as it would favour rogue politicians. |
I keep saying this: Many children in Nigeria do not know what it means to be a child. Most of them have never experienced childhood, have a happy moments, smile and be pampered like kids. I am boiling deep inside me right now. Those two idiots should not be released. They should be made to be providing financial assistance to the welfare or whoever is going to take over the kids. Men, please watch how your wives treats other people's children. Don't remain silent and unconcerned. You are culpable by your silence. |
I am off the rat race and toxicity. I work for myself and take my decision myself. The best feeling ever!! It is not easy o as you may not be able to earn the same money you were earning while working. I took the risk in 2016 and no regret at all. No sadist to report to, neither do I have to put up with any sadist colleague. Anyway, I never had any sadist or toxic work environment when I was working in companies. - I think I was fortunate to work in an environment that discourages toxicity. My decision to be on my own was purely for freedom and to do things my way and at my own time and pace. |
