However, your point is taken that the ports are coming to live (read being upgraded). Whether they become fully functional is really the onus of the federal government.
Why should a business man in Onithsa or Aba choose to import through Lagos, when Warri or Onne is there

No my friend, the ONLY deep sea port in the East is still on drawing board, and that is at Ibaka in Akwa Ibom. All the rest you listed are not deep sea ports, thanks to neglect by the fed govt.
When Ibaka is completed, we shall then take stock.

how is Warri, Port Harcourt, Onne and calabar not deep sea ports? It seems you don't know what you are talking about or you just like to neglect the truth to satisfy your "igbo being marginalized" agenda. below is a picture of warri, port harcourt and onne port, as you can see they are deep sea ports and they are real. for god sake really, why argue on a subject like this  

Second these ports are up to international standards, As a matter of fact, warri, calabar and port harcourt all got equipment upgrades. Warri port is also currently under expansion which will add new docking terminals and a link to the rail network. To add to that Onne port is a recently constructed port in which construction of phase 1 was completed around 2006-2007. phase 2 and 3 are still under construction.

So tell me, which ports in the east are imaginary, because according to you there are no ports in the east. So tell me which port are outdated, because every port go upgrade, new ports such as onne were built and some are being expanded. So tell me how did you come up with your claims??

We have to also understand that edo is the name of a state and not an ethnic group. That state is made up of Igbos, bini, esan etc.

Ahead of the 41st Convocation of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), police authorities Friday arrested no less than twenty-five persons suspected to be members of the extremist Boko Haram Islamic sect.

Also arrested were the driver and conductor of the commuter bus said to be conveying the suspects.

It was gathered that the suspects who were travelling from the north in a commercial Nissan bus marked XA 581 MRD with inscription Zamfara State Government were arrested at the Opuje junction in Nsukka, Enugu State at about 9.00am.

On interrogation, however, the men who had several bags and other substances claimed they were on hunting expedition to Uzo-uwani in Nsukka, claiming to be hunters from Zamfara State.

When their bags were searched, objects including 19 dane guns, chemicals, electric cables, twelve machetes, five axes, seven knives as well as unexpended ammunitions were discovered to have been concealed in the fertilizer bags, which was also loaded with food stuff.

The development has sent fears down the spines of residents of the university town. The university is currently celebrating its 41st convocation. The weeklong event has been on since Monday and is expected to climax today with the conferment of honorary doctorate awards to some Nigerians.

Meanwhile, the State commissioner of Police, Dana Zumi Job also Friday ordered the immediate transfer of the arrested suspected Boko Haram members to Enugu for further investigations.

Confirming the arrest Friday, State Police Public Relations officer, Ebere Amaraizu, said the command would not take anything to chance, stressing that a thorough investigation would be conducted to ascertain the true mission of the group in Enugu.

He said: "They were intercepted along Okuje – Nsukka Road in a commuter bus and on close and careful interrogations, they revealed that they were coming from the northern part of the country and were heading to Uzo-uwani in Enugu State and alleged that they were hunters."
Recovered inside the bus are 19 Dane guns, twelve machetes, five axes, seven knives and sacks containing foodstuff.

Get your facts right. A civil war will only result in "THE COALITION FORCE" (We know them) coming to help "secure" Nigerias oil installations. . . . . Guess what will be going on behind the curtains?
