Kanu is resestting the brains of the one Nigeria apologists |
Im happy to see the Eze Eri wearing the Star of David on his Royal regalia |
An Hausa man becoming the Governor of Anambra may just be exactly what is needed to get these thieves who call themselves politicians to sit up and get serious about their people. Unless some mega huge happens, nothing will ever change. |
soulpeppersoup:There wasnt even need for war the first time. Unfortunately, most Nigerians and the Nigerian governmen believe that fighting or use of force, is the answer for everything |
ibadantiti:Thats the rage of the moment, go with the flow |
I laugh in Igbo ![]() They just got one man who was frustrated by the gridlock caused by IPOB and asked him to speak on behalf of an entire communiy? Chei! Stupid propaganda! |
IAMMUIC:I sympathise with Igbos such as your self that were born and raised outside Igbo land. Its people such as you that are more likely to fall for the scam called 'one Nigeria'. It is important to tell you that no amount of outside investment by Igbos can be equated to the freedom, emancipation and sovereignty of Igbo land. Igbos may not be the only ones marginalised in Nigeria, but that doesnt mean they must do what others that are marginalised do. Igbos have their own approach. I recently stumbled on an article where the so-called Messiah of the igbos Nnamdi Kanu openly declared his plans to bring Nigeria to ruins, a threat he plans to carry out by making sure no president emerges in 2019. According to him, all Biafran states will boycott the 2019 presidential election.Point of correction. Nnamdi Kanu has never claimed to be a leader or messiah of Igbos. What Nnamdi Kanu wants, Biafra, is not an Igbo agenda. Its just that Igbos are the largest ethnic group in Biafra. I see nothing wrong with the election boycott. History tells us that many pressure groups often use election boycott to get government to take their agitation serious. Election boycott is both legal and peaceful. There is no law that forces anyone to come out and vote. One thing I know for certain is that the only thing that can separate Nigeria is war. Another Civil war! It was also the case with Sudan and other countries that suffered secession as we all know it. What really happened in Sudan? After South Sudan had gotten the much desired freedom, was there ever peace within their walls? If at all the goal of Nnamdi Kanu and a handful of igbos are achieved, will Biafra ever be a nation of peace, stability and prosperity? It is only people that believe in "one Nigeria by all means" that still talk about war. IPOB and Kanu has never killed or even touched anyone. It is even them that have been killed. What they are saying is 'give us referendum'. It is Nigerians that are shouting war all the time. Why cant Nigeria separate without war? Is there an unbilical chord that Lord Lugard used in sowing all of us together? What about countries like Czech Republic and Republic of Slovakia that both came out of Czechoslovakia and are both doing well? Why must South Sudan be the only example you can see? Truth is, the problem with Nigeria isn't Nigeria, a particular set of tribe or people, it is man himself. Man by nature is corrupt as we all know, Nnamdi Kanu himself isn't free corruption or human flaws. He too would disappoint as many as put their trust in him. We live in a flawed world overflowing with flawed men, igbos and every other tribe should understand this and live with it. Biafra is not going to be heaven or Canaan land as some are programmed to believe. There would be problems, such as we're currently experiencing in Nigeria.Start asking your self important quetions. Has Nigeria ever worked since Lugard created it? Do Hausa/Igbo/Yoruba love each other? Is Nigeria a nation or just a British colonial contraption? Why have we got to be fighting and killing each other to be together if we were one? I'm not comfortable with Nnamdi saying things on behalf of the entire Igbo nation as though he speaks for the entire Igbo nation. Let a poll be conducted to decide which Igbos are in support of Nnamdi's selfish action and those not in support. This would go a long way to correct the impression that all igbos are in full support of his actions. By the way, I wonder how Biafra would survive without the support of the Niger Delta region.Nnamdi Kanu never claims to speak for the Igbo nation, he speaks for IPOB. The same poll you are saying should happen is what Kanu has been shouting he wants by way of referendum. As for the Niger Delta, they are free to join Biafra or stay in Nigeria, their choice. There is nothing in the Niger Delta that is not in Igbo land. My home state of Anambra has one of the largest deposits of Gas in Nigeria and huge amounts of Oil. The same applies to Abia and Imo. It should be noted that it is not Oil thats makes a nation great, the same Oil did not help Nigeria. It is the human potential that makes a nation great. Get wise, you may be born in Lagos but you are still an 'omo ajokuta' to the indigenes. |
Lawless101:I never said anything about him being born Nigerian, I said he was born in Britain of a British Mother and an Igbo father. |
Chemcrown:If you think that then Igbos are entitled to take the first coup as a slap for the 1945 Jos massacre and the 1953 Kano massacre of Igbos. |
What exactly is a Nigerian? A colonial name What exactly is Nigeria? A British colony So instead of people fighting and killing each other over a name and country created by the white man, a referendum should be held so that people can decide |
Thats what any ambassador or Nigerian politician is expected to say |
Chemcrown:Why leave the counter coup? Is it still not a coup? |
A British Soldier of fortune came to West Africa and forced different people together at gun point. His wife now named these people 'Nigerians' after hwr favourite River. Fast-Foward over a hundred years later It is now those people who were forced together that are now forcing each other to be together at gun point. "We must be together or heavens will fall!", "Dont you know Lugard brought us together?", "I will kill you before you leave me in Nigeria and go to Biafra", "Im so proud that Lugards wife named me after a River!" The black man, especially Africans and Nigerians, are doomed to suffer slave mentality forever |
Ever8054:Nigeria and Buhari share one thing in common. Both are expired. |
jboi81:The constitution of Nigeria doesnt recognise anything called South/South. Igbos cannot be carved into something that does not exist. |
Bolustical:Nigeria is afflicted with all of the above, but you still want one Nigeria |
The funny thing is that the guy did nothing. Just charged to court and detained just for being an IPOB member |
Some times refered to as "The most Powerful Black Man In Britain", Ken Olisa was born in Britain in 1951 to a British Mother and an Igbo father. After studying at The prestigious Cambridge University where he studied natural sciences, he started working for what was then the High-Tech company of the time, IBM, where he rose to be Senior Vice- President. Olisa resigned this position in 1992 and founded his own highly successful company called interregnum which he ran as CEO until his retirement in 2006. Olisa holds the record as the first black man to sit on the board of a major public company in Britain. Amongst the many positions Kenneth Olisa has are:- Chairman, Thames Reach Director, Thompsom Reuters Chairman, Shaw Trust Director, restoration partners Director, open text corporation (Canada) A native of Notthingham, happily married with two daughters, Ken Olisa is a successful business man and philanthropist. He heads two different charity organisations and recently built and equiped a modern Library for his alma mater at the cost of 2 million pounds (1 Billion Naira) In 2015, The Queen appointed him Lord Lieutenant of London.

ipobarecriminals:That will make him 20 times more popular than he already is. |
sixtuschimere:Dont confuse the situation. Nnamdi Kanu never said dont attend political rallies, what he said is "Dont Vote!" |
Total election boycott in my home state of Anambra in November! |
Afam4eva:I support his election boycott call as an Anambra man. If we are serious about getting Biafra, we have to start a non violent revolution in Nigeria that will shake the polity. When politicians in the SE/SS realise they can be thrown out of office by election boycott, they will sit up and take Biafra seriously. When the federal govt realises that people are disengaging from politics, they will sit up. We cannot be saying that we want change but we keep doing the same thing over and over again. It is time for us all to disengage from the political process of Nigeria. This talk that it will take Igbos back is laughable. Igbo will always be taken backwards until the leave Nigeria |
The same Nigeria that couldnt enter Sambisa in 6 years and could not do anything against Niger Delta militants? Lol |
Chemcrown:AguIyi Ironsi |
The El Rufai you knew before he won elections has disappeared. Dont expect to see that El Rufai again until at least 2019 |
Chemcrown:Of course |
A waste of time. All Igbos with any brain know that the North will never agree to restructuring and have moved on to something more important. Anyone still hoping for restructuring is wasting his or her time. |
Markfemi2:Kanu used to be a member of MASSOB but he saw what Nigeria did to Uwazuruike and his 'gentleman'. Several times, Uwazuruike was arrested tortured, his members gunned down, his house invaded. Upon all that, Uwazuruike could not take Biafra anywhere. So Kanu.knew that 'gentleman and diplomacy' would not work so he took a far more radical approach. 'Violent approach' is the only language Nigerians understand. Thats why Kanu finished everyone including Buhari and people started taking him serious |
There is something I dont understand. In every coup ever conducted in Nigeria, the ring leaders usually come from the same ethnic group or region. The Nzeogwu coup had Ifeajuna, Anuforo, Okafor. The Murtala Mohammed coup had Garuba, Jalo,Buhari, Abacha. Mainly Hausas and Northerners Dimkas coup had Gomwalk, Bisalla, Wyas and his fellow middlebeltans However, only the first coup has an ethnic name. You will never hear anyone call Murtala Mohammeds coup a Hausa coup. You will never hear Dimkas coup refered to as a middle belt coup. Why? |
Ncsamuel:Why would any business deal take place there? The Europeans had not yet come to place. But they kbew it was there , hence the map |
Ncsamuel:You are wrong, Biafra existed 600 years before there was anything called Nigeria and covered all of what is now called SE/SS as well as the Southern Cameroons. I will attach a 14th century map to prove what I mean. Going by your logic, Nigeria is the rebel. It should be noted that regardless of who came first, Biafra or Nigeria, Nigeria is still an illegal colonial creation of the British and the indigenous tribes that were for forced into the Colony against their will have the right to leave any time they want.
