Politics › If You Can't Trust Igbos Man To Be President, Let Them Go " - Dele Momodu by Gjrich(op): 6:00pm On Jan 30, 2021
Dele Momodu, a renowned speaker, author, writer, teacher, and one-time presidential candidate from the Yoruba Clan Of the country, has in an interview touched a sensitive political topic and has gained applauds from some Nigerians.

Not to mince words, the presidential seat or other top official posts in the country has become an unattainable spot for mostly the Igbos of the country, and this has become a daily issue that is making the Igbos agitate verbally and, and also some top none-Igbo individuals of the country who have been bold enough to come out and hit the point home concerning why such positions have been made unattainable to the Igbos.

In a recent short video Dele Momodu shared on his Twitter page, of n interviews he granted a publication agency, he touched on the discriminatory way the Igbos are being treated especially when it comes to political tussle.

In the short clip, he challenged the Nigerians of other origins with the notion they have of the Igbo people, urging them to drop such action as it is detrimental to the growth, peace, and unity of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria.

In his words, he said that Nigeria is a secular state clearly enshrined in the Constitution of the country.

Also on the interview, he made it clear that he would not agree with anyone who thinks, feels, or says that an Igbo person can never become the president of Nigeria, and called such person that makes such lame comment brainless.

Also, he revealed how he would have turned the Igbo region into the country's economic hub only if he had become the president. He went further to praise the intelligence and franchise of the Igbo people which he likened to top countries like Korea, China.

Still speaking, he questioned why Nigeria isn't making use of Igbo's talent to move the county forward, faulted those that claim to have forgiven the Igbos over the Civil War but can't trust them to become the president or hold any top official rank in the country. Referring to the newly elected president of the United State who appointed several black persons including Nigerians to rule with him without being sentimental, he urged Nigerians to shun every form of sentiment against the Igbos.

YORUBA ARE NOT THAT COURAGEOUS, THEY HAVE NNAMDI KANU BACKING TO ATTACK US – YERIMA SHETTIMA BLOWS HOT.

The leader of Alamajiri group has accused Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB of being the brain behind the recent attacks on fulani people in yoruba land.

Speaking to BBC hausa, Yerima Shettima stated that Yorubas are not that courageous to attack them but it seems they have the support of Nnamdi Kanu.

In his words;

“We have meticulously observed what is happening in the south west and how they’re forcing our people out of their place.

“The point is that Nnamdi Kanu is the reason behind this because many Youths listen to him on his Radio Biafra and the major role he played during the end SARS protest.

“The Yorubas are not that courageous, I pity the yoruba youths for listening to Kanu and his hatred messages for the good country.
“If the problem they’re looking for finally comes, we the northerners would show them why we are the owners of Nigeria

“We are waiting for order and we must involve all the groups in the North to help us do this work.

Politics › Sunday Igboho’s House In Ibadan Set Ablaze [photos] Daily Post by Gjrich(op): 8:32am On Jan 26, 2021
A property owned by Sunday Igboho was set ablaze early Tuesday morning.

The building is his Soka residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital

A source close to the Yoruba activist confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.

He said the attackers gained access into the compound from the rear wing.

“We have it on good authority that the main target is Igboho’s main home in Ibadan. But it is hard to gain access because of the security there”, the source added.

No one has been reported injured as at press time.

Igboho made headlines after his ultimatum to the Fulani in Oyo.

He accused the Northerners of masterminding abductions and killings in the state.

After the expiration of the deadline, the house, cars of the Seriki Fulani in Igangan was torched.

Igboho denied having a hand in the attack. Today’s inferno at his residence is believed to be a reprisal
attack.
Politics › Fulani Leaders In Oyo Beg For Forgiveness, Pledge Peaceful Co-Existence by Gjrich(op): 11:37am On Jan 25, 2021
Igangan/Fulani crisis: Town presents evidence, alleges herders collected N50m ransoms, raped 15 women

Residents of Igangan in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State on Sunday recounted their ordeals in the hands of Fulani herdsmen.

The community leaders, who spoke during a visit of the state government delegation to the town, stated that they had paid a total of N50m as ransoms for kidnappings carried out by herdsmen in the community.

The community also presented to the delegation, pictures and other evidence of ransoms paid to the herdsmen.

They accused the Seriki Fulani of complicity in the negotiation of ransoms.

The delegation comprising officials of the state and the new Commissioner of Police in the state Command, Mrs Ngozi Onadeko, on Sunday, visited Ibarapa where violence erupted on Friday over kidnappings and killings by herdsmen.

Recall that there was violence at Igangan on Friday when a popular Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo, well known as Sunday Igboho, alongside his followers, stormed the Fulani settlement in the ancient town to eject Seriki Fulani, Salihu Abdukadir, and herdsmen accused of perpetrating crimes ranging from kidnappings, killings, rape to invasion of farmlands with their cattle.

During the crisis, the Seriki Fulani of Igangan and his family members were evicted from the town and their property torched.

According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to state Governor, Mr Taiwo Adisa, Igangan community leaders on Sunday stated that besides the payment of N50m as ransoms, 15 women were raped by the herders in the town.

But Fulani leaders, who attended the meeting, begged for forgiveness, saying the Fulani were ready for peaceful co-existence with their hosts.

The Secretary of Igangan Development Advocates, Lawal Akeem, said the people were tired of the antics of the Seriki Fulani of Igangan, whom he accused of complicity in different kidnap cases.

He also said that the community had been forced to pay about N50 million in ransoms for different cases of kidnapping, while also accusing Fulani herders of regularly vandalising farms and raping women of the community.

A youth in the town, Taiwo Adeagbo, said that no fewer than 15 women had been raped in recent weeks.

A member of the state House of Assembly, Peter Ojedokun, also told the delegation that the peace in Ibarapaland had been stirred by the Fulani herders with the incessant attacks on members of the community, kidnappings and other crimes.

LG caretaker chairman, community leader accuse Seriki Fulani of complicity

The Caretaker Chairman of Ibarapa North-West Local Council Development Area, Okediji Olusegun, also corroborated the allegations levelled against the Seriki Fulani of Igangan, saying that the Seriki had been fingered in the series of security challenges in the area many times.

Fulani leaders beg for forgiveness, pledges peaceful coexistence

Two Fulani leaders, the Seriki Fulani of Igbo Ora, Alhaji Idris Abubakar, and the Seriki Fulani of Eruwa, Alhaji Sule Mohammed, solicited for forgiveness, assuring the forum that they would facilitate peaceful coexistence in Ibarapaland.

Also during the meeting, those who paid ransoms to the bandits presented pictoral evidence to back up their claims.

The traditional ruler of Igangan, the Asigangan of Igangan, Oba Abdulazeez Adeoye, whose cousin was kidnapped tendered the evidence of the ransom he paid to secure his release.

Residents also stormed the venue of the meeting with photographs of those who were killed and those who suffered attacks in the hands of criminal herdsmen.

Oba Adeoye confirmed to one of our correspondents that victims and their families came to the meeting with photographs to back up their claims.

He said, “Our people brought photos. I also showed the evidence of ransom paid for one of my children.”

Fulani still in Igangan unmolested despite Seriki’s absence

The PUNCH gathered that despite that Seriki Fulani in Igangan had fled, there were still some Fulani living in the midst of the people in the town unmolested.

The Convener Igangan Development Advocates, Mr Oladiran Oladokun, confirmed this to one of our correspondents.

Some youths were also bearing placards, with inscriptions, which condemned the atrocities perpetrated by herdsmen in the community.

The Commissioner of Police, who led senior police officers, including Deputy Commissioners of Police and Mobile Police Commanders on a tour of Igangan, Tede and Ago Are communities, urged the residents to toe the path of peace.

She expressed the readiness of the police to carry out a thorough investigation to ensure justice for victims of kidnappings, rape and other crimes committed in the areas.

While addressing traditional rulers, government officials and Fulani leaders in Igangan, Onadeko said, “We have come to assess and listen to you over the incident. I want to appeal to everyone of us to be calm and ensure there is peace. If there is no peace in the community, there won’t be growth and development.

“I want to appeal to the youth. We have listened and they have interpreted all your complaints and I want to say you should not spoil your case by using force. We are a new team. Bring out all the cases you have, put them in an orderly manner and we will make sure that justice is done.

“It does not matter where you come from – whether you are from Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. Actually, we have the good and bad ones. Criminality is not only ascribed to a particular ethnic group, it cuts across all the ethnic groups.”

The Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security, Commissioner of Police Fatai Owoseni (retd.), who led the government’s delegation, urged community leaders, youths and Hausa-Fulani residents to eschew violence and live in peace.

Stating that nobody should take the law into his own hands, Owoseni stressed the need for the people to be vigilant in order to identify criminal elements among them for prosecution.

He debunked insinuations that the Makinde-led government had abandoned the people to their fate, adding that at least, 51 suspected kidnappers, rapists and bandits from the Ibarapa and Oke Ogun axes were in police net.

Owoseni, who said, “If you see something, say something,” added that government would ensure that in the communities.

The Olugbon of Orile Igbon, Oba Francis Alao, who is also the Deputy Chairman of Oyo State Council of Traditional Rulers, appealed for peace, saying that the state could only develop in an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence.

Also in a statement on Sunday, Onadeko vowed that those responsible for the arson and other criminal activities in the town would be apprehended and brought to justice.

She said this on Sunday in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi.

Recall that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, had earlier warned the CP against being used to arrest Igboho.

Politics › We’ll Rather Die Than Allow Herdsmen Takeover Our Land, Igboho Says Amid Threat by Gjrich(op): 11:23am On Jan 25, 2021
Rights activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Igboho, has vowed that the Yoruba people would not allow killer herdsmen chase them away from their land.

In a viral video circulated on the internet on Sunday, Igboho said the eyes of his people are opened and that they would rather lose their lives than allow invaders take over their lands.

Igboho’s comment came amid orders for his arrest issued by both the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.

The orders for his arrest followed his eviction order to Fulani herders in Ibarapa area of Oyo State over alleged kidnapping, killing and other crimes allegedly being committed by killer herdsmen in the area.

READ ALSO: In the past five years herdsmen have killed over 300 Yorubas —Gani Adams

In the video, Igboho appreciated Yoruba traditional leaders and other prominent leaders in the region for speaking up against the order for his arrest.

He told a crowd of his supporters in the video, “They (killer herdsmen) cannot chase us away from our land. Our eyes are opened… unless they want to kill us.”

On Yoruba leaders he told them, “Don’t ridicule or abuse our leaders in the South-West, I swear with the gods of our land, they are also angry with the current situation and they are now speaking up

“You can see the way all the Yorubas and other prominent South-West leaders rose up in unison to say that you must not arrest Igboho.

“It is quite sad that we are being maltreated, killed and our sisters/daughters get raped by killer herdsmen, we can’t go to farm or stream to carry out different activities. Enough is enough.”

Politics › NMMP: Mass Metering Commences In South-east - Meters Are Given Free To Customers by Gjrich(op): 8:26pm On Jan 24, 2021
The National Mass Metering Programme (NMMP), an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria has commenced in the South-East.

The initiative, DAILY POST gathered, is designed to ensure speedy deployment of meters to electricity customers, as a conscious way of closing the identified metering gap in the sector.

The Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC) confirmed that it has commenced mass meter roll-out to its customers under the scheme.

This development was made known in Enugu on Sunday by the Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh.

He assured that the meters will get to the customers free, as they will not be required to make any upfront payment to be metered.

“The mass metering program comes at no cost to our customers, and we kicked off last week Thursday, using select feeders under our Ogui and Abakpa Districts as pilot.

“Already, pre installation survey has begun at these pilot locations, and meters are being installed simultaneously.

“Customers are requested to cooperate with EEDC as the modalities for deployment will be according to feeders and distribution substations. Information on this will be made available to customers as the exercise progresses,” he said.

“It is expected that by the end of 2021, a substantial number of electricity customers within the EEDC network would have been metered.

The NMMP programme will go a long way in reducing the high ATC&C losses, enhance EEDC’s revenue, eliminate issues bothering on estimated billing and also enable customers to manage their energy consumption.

“EEDC reaffirms its commitment to metering its customers and ensuring that the NMMP which will help close the metering gap and gradually put an end to issues around estimated billing succeeds.

“Any daughter of Eve that asks for money shall be treated as an illegal immigrant and be labelled; ‘not wife material,’” he wrote.

Foreign Affairs › Terrifying USA Constitutional Mechanism That Can Allow Trump To Stay In Office by Gjrich(op): 4:45pm On Nov 13, 2020
There are several mechanisms that are legal and constitutional that could enable Donald Trump to stay in office beyond 20th January 2021.
US's complex electoral college vote has a 'backdoor' which Trump's Republican party can use to extend his stay in office.
US congress can vote for president in case of dispute, and if it comes down to this Trump has an edge over Biden.

First of all, it’s important to note that Joe Biden is not officially US President-elect, he is only referred as “President-elect” because he is projected to win the November 3rd election.

This might be confusing for those who don’t understand US electoral process. To break it down to you, Biden’s win has to be certified by Chief Election Official in each of America’s 50 states before he can officially be called “US President-elect”.

At the moment, vote counting is still continuing in a handful of states and as such the results of the presidential election can’t be called in. And for instance in the state of Georgia the ballots will be recounted because of the small margin between Biden and Trump’s votes.

Trump has also filed a series of suits against Biden in battleground states where the latter defeated him, or he is in the lead. These cases have to be concluded before the winner is also declared.

It’s only after December 14th that Biden can formally be referred as ‘President-elect’ and Kamala Harris as ‘Vice President-elect’.

Once vote counting is completed in all 50 states, electors will cast their electoral vote on December 14th based on the certified election results from their state to officially declare the winner of November 3rd.

The US Constitution calls for states to choose the presidential electors, who in turn gather to vote for the president.

This is where it gets interesting; of the nine swing states (Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin) eight have Republican legislatures. If one or more decide that voting was chaotic and marred by irregularities, they could send what they regard as the legitimate slate of electors, which would be Republican.

Congress will convene on January 6th to tally the electors’ votes, there would be challenges to the legitimacy of some electors. Congressional Republicans would agree that disputed states should not be counted. That would ensure that neither candidate would get to 270 electoral votes needed for one to be president.

In this event, where both Biden or Trump would have failed to secure the 270 electoral votes, the US Constitution directs that the House of Representatives vote to determine the presidential election in this event.

Yes Democrats currently have the majority in House of Representatives (218 to Republicans’ 202), but when it comes to voting for president it’s something totally different. Legislators from each state will only cast their votes as a single vote, as in there are only 50 votes allowed each representing 50 states that make up USA.

If the current numbers hold, there would be 26 state delegations that are Republican and 23 Democratic (with one tied), so the outcome would be to reelect Trump. Yes in Trump’s own words, “legally” elected by House of Representatives to be president for a second term.

This is why you see Republicans are claiming vote fraud in the swing states where Trump trails Biden. But the route to House of Representatives voting for president is a long short, you see the Supreme Court in each state must first agree there was vote rigging like Trump claims to clear the path for Trump to use the backdoor to win a second term.

Cases filed by Trump alleging vote fraud have been thrown out of court in most states, so don’t be alarmed just yet. Biden will likely be sworn in as President come January 20th 2021.

Foreign Affairs › Breaking US Court Rules In Favor Of Donald Trump by Gjrich(op): 3:08pm On Nov 13, 2020
The Trump campaign and Republican National Committee filed a lawsuit last week challenging Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar’s decision to extend the deadline for voters to provide proof of identification if it was originally missing from their mail-in ballot (the deadline was extended from Nov. 9 to Nov. 12).

The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court had previously ordered any ballots fixed during the extended deadline to be segregated as the case played out in court.

In a ruling Thursday, Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt said Boockvar “lacked statutory authority” to change the deadline, and said election officials are “enjoined from counting any ballots” that were cured during the extended deadline.

Since the ballots had already been segregated, they were not included in the state’s vote count and thus not counting them will not affect Biden’s win in Pennsylvania.

It is unclear how many ballots will be affected by the ruling, but the Philadelphia Inquirer projects the number is likely to be “small,” noting that Philadelphia County, the largest county in the state, only flagged 2,100 ballots that had identification issues.

The Pennsylvania Department of State declined to comment on the ruling.

BIG NUMBER
53,580. That’s the number of votes by which Biden leads President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, as of Thursday afternoon. That lead will not be affected by the ballots at issue in Thursday’s ruling.

KEY BACKGROUND
The Pennsylvania lawsuit is one of a large number of post-election lawsuits from the GOP and Trump campaign that challenge mail-in ballots and voting rules in battleground states, which have predominantly focused on Pennsylvania but also included lawsuits in Michigan, Arizona and Georgia. Though the Trump campaign did prevail in the proof of identification lawsuit, their legal challenges have more broadly been dismissed by legal experts as being largely meritless attempts to sow distrust in the election results, which experts believe have little chance of actually succeeding in court. “They all seem to have no merit whatsoever,” Joshua Douglas, an election law professor at the University of Kentucky, told the Guardian about Trump’s lawsuits Friday. “I think the goal is to sow discord and distrust and undermine the people and the integrity of the election.”

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
There are still a number of outstanding lawsuits that have been brought by the Trump campaign and GOP in Pennsylvania, including a wide-ranging Trump campaign lawsuit seeking to invalidate the state’s election that legal experts say has “little chance of succeeding.” The U.S. Supreme Court could also still potentially invalidate Pennsylvania’s extended mail-in voting deadline, which allowed mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day to be accepted as long as they were delivered by Friday, Nov. 6. That ruling would only affect approximately 10,000 ballots, elections officials have said — which are being segregated and are not included in the current vote count — and thus invalidating them would not affect Biden’s win in Pennsylvania.

Foreign Affairs › Re: US Election: Pompeo Promises ‘smooth Transition To Trump’s Second Term’ by Gjrich(op): 2:16pm On Nov 11, 2020
We would have been patient for final announcement before congratulating anyone. Most world leaders made the same mistake. Let's not allow our sentiment take hold of us. Within the American constitution, Trump has the right to contest the election in the court. He has that right and we must respect that.

Do anybody know what will be the outcome of the court ruling? Has all the votes been counted? Has Biden been officially announced? Why joining media sentiment congratulate a projected winner? Its so undiplomatic. We should learn the rules of diplomatic engagement. If indeed there was fraud in the elections, it become shameful of us and Trump will become vindicated.

The people embarrassing America will surely be the people that participated in the fraud. Like I said, I pray Biden is finally declared but we need to learn how to behave. After all we need more energy dedicated in building our country.
Foreign Affairs › US Election: Pompeo Promises ‘smooth Transition To Trump’s Second Term’ by Gjrich(op): 12:46pm On Nov 11, 2020
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday promised the world a “smooth transition” after US elections but refused to recognize President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, saying Donald Trump will remain in power.

“There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration,” Pompeo said in an at times testy news conference when asked about contacts with the Biden team.

“The world should have every confidence that the transition necessary to make sure that the State Department is functional today, with the president who is in office on January 20 a minute after noon will be successful,” he said, referring to the date of the presidential inauguration.

World leaders including almost all US allies have congratulated Biden, who has achieved unassailable leads in key states as well as a commanding edge in the nationwide popular vote.

But Trump has refused to concede the November 3 election and has alleged massive fraud, calling for recounts and legal action.

Asked if the United States can still issue statements calling for free elections around the world, Pompeo said the question was ridiculous.

“This department cares deeply to make sure that elections around the world are safe and secure and free and fair, and my officers risk their lives to ensure that that happens,” he said.

But our own gallant soldiers are still organising operations like “operation scorpion weep, operation crocodile tears, operation rhinoceros smile”

See how their foreign counterparts came to rescue a citizen in a far away nation huh
Incredible, American Government values her citizen coming to rescue one man with state might, what an irony!

America protects their own while Nigeria Soldiers kill their citizens anyhow.

God bless America

Politics › BOLA TINUBU : The Fall Of An Emperor At Lekki Toll Gate by Gjrich(op): 9:43am On Oct 23, 2020
It is the gamut of corruption that Lagos has become and must be sustained that the crowd at the Lekki Toll Gate must be dispersed to keep the money flowing.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu began his political career with an understanding that reflects the popular Yoruba saying: "eniyan bo ni lara ju aso lo," meaning: "People cover unclothedness far better than clothes.

That was the soil in which this political iroko seed was planted. His growth was rapid from Coker Street, Orile-Agege, Lagos, his branches spread across Lagos West and his senatorial leaves were plucked with ease. Bola Tinubu was in touch with the people. He connected with the streets and conquered the grassroots with the help of Iya loja Emeritus, his mother Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji.

He was really in the good book of the people.

He understands the enormity of the influence of the market unions and associations in the Nigerian politics and positioned his daughters to understudy his mother.
But after her demise, he singlehandedly imposed his daughter on persons who reserved the rights to step into the shoes of his mother, having served the interest of Oja along with the late mama before the daughter was even born.

For me this was the point at which Tinubu lost it. He tore the cloth that his mother bequeathed to him with his greedy approach to leadership. Today he is regaled with clothes on. Yet, he is unfortunately naked before the people.

Tinubu's presence in the Senate during Babagida's democratic experiment was exceptional. Exploits from his immediate constituency of corporate stewardship came on hand. He was the most literate expert in the ICT and he brought it to bear.

The author, Dr Bolaji O. Akinyemi
Bola Ahmed Tinubu was ahead of his peers so much that no one in his Senate class commanded the pedigree of his influence in Nigeria today.

His identification with the people when Babagida dashed our hope through the annulment of the only free and fairest election ever conducted in my lifetime, consolidated Tinubu's political relevance among the people.

NADECO became a necessity and Tinubu was very much on ground to serve till our democracy dream became a reality in 1999.

His return to the country was rewarded by the Alliance for Democracy (AD) leadership which stepped down Lagos political juggernauts of that time in the person of Funso Williams.

Tinubu was smart and skilful in the game. Like the fig tree, his tentacles have spread across Lagos and interlocked with roots of other political shrubs and trees. As it now, he has, indeed, become a difficult tree to uproot.

In torrents, allegations came like storms which include running a drug cartel, "Toronto certificate" of his very questionable Chicago life style. But non could be used to pin nor nail him because before the court of the people, Tinubu stood guiltless.

But in the twinkling of an eye, the veil of deceptions that had covered a "sin full man" and made him look like the saviour of the masses is currently being torn to shreds before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Apara put his nails to the sinful garment of Bola Tinubu to unmask the bandits and his gang who have been 'raping' Lagos, the Centre of Excellence' since two decades. The fleecing of Lagosians has been institutionalised with craftiness so much that the victims hail their oppressor to high heavens. They are even calling him out to come rape Nigeria in 2023.

Alpha Beta is a revelation, a conduit for Tinubu's illegal empire. Through it, the emperor's palace had remained connected and serviced directly with 10% of all the taxes that Lagos State Inland Revenue (LIRS) generates which go to this company's fiat.

lt is after they had taken their own 15% share that they would then remit the rest to the Lagos State account.

A sad reminder were the days of Abacha in power when the duties of the Federal Inland Revenue were taken over by private companies and certain individuals were made billionaires over night. The ATM machine that Abacha has become in death is not unconnected to the impunity that was prevalent with our taxes and revenue generation.

The absurdity of Tinubu's banditry is so embarrassing that the Lagos State Water Corporation is serving as their headquarters. It is left to imagination whose tenants they are and to whom their rents are being paid.

Mr Dapo Apara, a Nigerian chartered accountant, opened the can of worms when he accused the former governor of Lagos State (Tinubu), a consulting firm, Alpha-beta, and a former commissioner in the state, Akin Doherty, of money laundering, fraud, tax evasion and sundry corrupt practices.

In a writ of summons deposed to at a Lagos high court, Apara had claimed that Tinubu and Alpha-beta reneged on certain agreements reached in the past about the management and control of the consulting firm.

The silence on this issue by the masses in Lagos is the justification of the sophistication of Edo over Lagos which resonated with the "Edo No be Lagos slogan.

Witnessing a protest from the state against church tithe, that silence greeted payment of 10% of our commonwealth to an individual and his cronies is a hard one to swallow.

But things took a dramatic turn for the emperor and his empire after the Edo election. If Lagosians had chosen to look away from his humongous financial fraud allegations against their state, would they do same against the blood of their children being gruesomely murdered in the wake of the endSARS protest?

Apara's allegations were not unconnected with the fraud that Lagos Concession Company is to Lagos. The company which runs Lekki Toll Gate was said to be making N12 million naira a day. Even if you are poor in Arithmetic, a simple multiplication of that figure by 365 days will leave you with N4,380,000,000; reason our children must be evacuated with the barrel of gun to keep their business running.

Tinubu, who couldn't appear before the court to respond to Apara's allegations tweeted that the protest would be met with fierce force if the protesters refused to call off the protest.

But a reliable source said he was in Abuja on Monday, 19th of October, 2020.
This translates to a Yoruba saying: "Aje ke lana omo ku leni, tani omo pe aje ana lo pa omo je," which means: "The witch cried yesterday and the child died today. And who would not conclude that the witch that cried killed the child?

If Tinubu tweeted from Abuja about a fierce force, and Sanwo-Olu declared a 24 hour curfew in less than 4 hours and warned strongly; "nobody must be found outside", that for me is a shoot at sight order. Preparing ground for the order, LCC removed the CCTV camera and put out the light, Buhari as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces completed the job, turned guns at innocent youths, that moment the legitimacy of Sanwo-Olu as Governor and Buhari as President was lost. Reacting, Sanwo-Olu said the evil was perpetrated by forces beyond his control. Official Buhari is beyond his control, unofficially Tinubu as the Emperor of Lagos also is. We need not ask for clarification the forces beyond his control are known.

To one of the youths made a call, and told him they learnt he was out of the country to France to be precise and asked how true it was, Tinubu responded: "IT IS ALMOST TRUE."

It is left to Lagosians what to make out of the response. Tinubu seems to be inferring that he is neither on the FALSE nor TRUE lane. This is a reminiscence of Babagida's principle of maradona leadership ... a little to the left and to the right. Tinubu's maradonic spell blinded the people. He was almost always true that 150 billion naira as a part of our collective commonwealth is paid as tithes to a man who is neither a pastor or our general Overseer.

The conspiracy that has cemented Lagos' loyalty to Tinubu needs to be visited. Why did erstwhile Lagos governor, Babatunde Raji Fasola (SAN), looked away from this embarrassing illegality during his eight years tenure?

The role of vice president and man of God, the then attorney general of Lagos State drafted and supervised all legal agreements and frameworks, while all these were being perpetrated should be made clear.

But his hope of ever ruling this country was buried at the toll gate on Tuesday 20: 10: 2020.

In memory and honour of our children that were gruesomely murdered, I think #endTollgatecollection at the Lekki Toll Gate should be declared 'Gate of Blood' so that our unborn generations may know that it was at that 'jungle' that the shackles were broken upon the legs of Lagos and the yoke of Buhari's brutality upon the neck of our nation was removed.

Its too late for tribalism now....
Restructure or we burn Nigeria says the South
Beware southerners.

This is the time to know and understand the true identity of those who cause tribalism on here, they are paid agents, they are neither from east or west.

They have more than twenty accounts, they would create tribal topics and make tribal comments with another accounts to cause chaos between southerners. Though, they have no conscience but you can try to educate them or better ignore them. They are easy to identify, use your head brothers.

Also Be aware that tactics and plans has been deployed to cover up the massacre since all their efforts to break southern unity were not fruitful.

They have created a lot of Facebook and Twitter accounts with Yoruba or Igbo names for this purpose, one of them is to post pictures or video of people who debunked being killed, those pictures were scripted and earlier been circulated for this purpose.

They would discredit real occurrence and give it another title

You see. I have never towed the tribal line but this got me. While other states protested n spare their looters n their infrastructure my people flung the gate open and allowed scathing attacks capable of burying us as Yorubas. In shitty Edo, Obaseki had hardly mentioned curfew when all of them ran inside, I washed this morning on ITV without break in transmission, their Oba was not driven out of palace thereby desecrating the stool. Thoogh they have almost nothing in terms of infrastructure but they protected the little they have. Why don they attack the modular refinery, oshiomo powerplant, kada plaza or ITV station but they claim to be hard. Lagos is worst hit n it pained me honestly.
Look !

Edo no be Lagos.

The Governor of Edo acted quickly, moving round the city of Benin with his Deputy calming youths showing support for #EndSars Protest.

On like Sanwo Olu of Lagos who acted differently.

I read this somewhere just now.
Even if it is just one (1) youth that was killed
It is a very BIG issue for some of us with brains and souls,
If it was 7 youths as it was reported by the genuine protesters at Lekki, it is still so sad,
and if it was 78 youths as it was circulated all over social media,
We deserve to know the whole truth as a nation.
So we can know how to table our matter to the international community.
We want to know what is true and what are lies.
We don't need some people fueling fake news on this heated country now.
We are not fighting against Nigeria,
We are fighting for Nigeria.

Yorubas, they are urging you to destroy Tinubu's properties in Yoruba land, they have not destroyed those of Atiku, Orji Kalu, Peter Obi, Abacha, Ibori, Alamiesigha, Danjuma, Odili, Igbinedion Kwankwaso, Saraki, Audu in their areas.

The earlier the Yorubas know this is an attempt to break and destroy them, the better for them.
Besides, they only started with alleged Tinubu's properties, no they are burning down all revenue yielding assets in Yoruba land and the president is quiet.

My Yoruba folks, time to use your head.
