Maybe cos today's wives also work..... EmekaBlue: *Comparative Analysis Between Wives of Today and Those of Yesterday:*
1). *Yesterday's Wives* : Welcome my husband, hope the office was not stressful., your favorite food is ready, let me lead you to the bathroom first, then you take your dinner, you look so tired, am sure you'll be okay after taking your dinner, welcome my one and only.
*Today's Wives*: Please don't put unnecessary pressure on me, you can go to the fridge pick up the stew, microwave it and boil the remaining rice, I am your wife and not your cook. |

Follow this advice at your own peril. You want her to post on social media that you bought her a new ride. I think you guys have different love languages. Try and meet each other halfway. Gettreadyy: if I were you, I will withdraw from her slowly, i will not eat her food regularly, i will not ask for sex, I will come back late most times, sometimes I will not come back home for days, i will make lots of calls when I am at home and laugh hard knowing she's around, i will play more Fifa soccer. if she's still indifferent and doesn't get the message, I will drop a divorce paper on a Monday morning and tell her to please sign it that I am no longer interested. |

Honestly, I'm lost for words. People that live for likes and shares...can't deal bikonu. He even admitted that she's reserved, so du want her to be a faker. let her be... alphaNomega: Young man, you don't know what you have until you loose it. You have a peaceful home and you came to nairaland to seek ways to cause trouble.
That woman is my kind of lady, unfortunately she's married to you and you already have kids.
There is nothing wrong with your wife's behaviour, even her family told you that's how she is.
Good luck trying to fuçk up your home, I hope you don't succeed. |
Family › Re: My Wife Doesn't Post My Pictures On Social Media, She Is Abnormal, Help! by Gloriagee(f): 1:23pm On Apr 01, 2019 |
I agree with you. Ishilove: She is not abnormal. She is just very reserved. I see a lot of myself in her and i can identify with her, which is why I know she's normal.
Not every woman likes showing off their private lives on social media contrary to what you think. I know I don't. I know I can write about my private life online, but definitely not post pictures. You two just have very different temperaments.
If you know you like social media wife then why did you marry her?? Never marry a person with the mindset that you will change them. Have you changed yourself? Are you the Holy Spirit that changes? You saw the kind of person she was yet you still went ahead to marry, thinking you are the doing her a favour by marrying her, now two years down the line you are complaining.
Abeg carry your cross and make things work. Your madam sef is acting like she is doing you a favour by marrying you. A little appreciation would go a long way in making your partner feel like they didn't waste their resources buying you gifts, although I wouldn't go as far posting pictures if my man buys me a car. That would be dialing your village people's numbers.

They need to step up on their awareness please. Issuing threats and ultimatums which will not affect the patents but the kids is equivalent to punishing the kids. 9jaRealist: How does getting a birth certificate (which is free btw) punish kids... The aversion of Nigerians to keeping records and generally being organized is truly shocking! |

You've never accused your mum of witchcraft but she keeps saying, hey I'm not one. By all means, protect yourself and your family first. The worst lies are those we tell ourselves so your first step to recovery is to acknowledge that something is not right. Do not divulge any unnecessary info. For Chrissakes, pray, pray and pray. If you dont know what to pray about, try Prayer Rain by Dr. D. K Olukoya. It must end in praise |

@op, whatever you do - make sure you develop yourself. Have some set goals for your professional development. Build a career or a business or whatever. You must have some sort of plan on how to earn. Money accounts for one of the 3 leading causes of divorce.
Truth is you don't have to be in a rush to get married to be rid of your mum's nagging. N if I were you, I'd hold on for about 6 months to 2 years cos marriage is a lifetime decision. Its really so easy to get in and soooo difficult to make the decision to exit. Best wishes as you decide |
Family › Re: God will come through for me by Gloriagee(f): 7:51am On Mar 13, 2019 |
I had to read her post again and cant see where she said , a mansion is a criteria, so come off your high horse. She said her mom has been harping on if any of the suitors have houses. Not once did she mention if any of them do. Basically, shes wondering how a mansion translates to marital bliss and also thinking its likely that bloke can have a mansion, be well mannered et al and still decide shes not his spec. So, I concur with her as those are valid concerns. victorian: Sorry but you are not ready for marriage . You are as materialistic as your mum, if not ? You would have gotten married since ! U should be in your early 20s, don't worry u have enough time to wait for a man who has built a mansion and love you so much.
So be patient , such man ? God is still creating him. Be patient biko.
To live for mansion is the in thing now o.
Smhhhh.
Keep waiting u here? |

This is soooo freaking mind boggling. Is there a nation? Is Nigeria a nation? What progress, huh? Progress is not some greedy move that favors self serving individuals. Like if the money goes to Ekiti, what happens? Yeah, even the generals should return oil cos they be reaping where they didn't sow. Isokehn: There is no basis for this argument. The oil belongs to the nation not the region. What of those generals that own oil wells who are not from those 'specific places'.
don't block progress. |
Politics › Re: Allocate Oil Wells To States, Ekiti Govt Tells FG by Gloriagee(f): 7:43am On Mar 04, 2019 |
I dont understand how you can allocate oil wells when they are located in specific places which definitely belong to states. There's no basis for allocating oil wells. Rather develop the natural resources found In your state. Entitled much |
