I couldn't tell if there was a difference cos it tasted ok to me n this is coming from someone who really hates Ghanaian food except light soup. I just thought it will taste badly cos of the endless Ghana/ Nig jollof wars. Closest taste I can describe it as is that it comes close to oven cooked jollof n has no smokey flavor. cococandy: I’ve never tried it. I wouldn’t know.

Not condoning the knocking out bit at all, but this is cray like is it by force to greet a pastor for God's sake? What kind of rigorous religion are we tryna enforce in this country? The need for attention or whatever doesn't give anyone the right to insult parents. I can't even imagine the kind of person she is...she even declined her own mum for omugwo... otherwise, i'd have said she's badly trained. N so petty, complaining that he burnt the soup cos he didn't bring money for soup. @ op - una don see am. Pretenders apparently do the worst. Marry someone that's real with u, una no go hear. Miss goody two shoes is now trampling on u. Pele sholikay: well i'm not married, but from what you typed,it seems she has given you clue of what you are doing to her, which is prompting her to act that way...that's the issue of not giving her enough attention, care and love...some ladies might be so funny and crazy when you tend to deny them some things..she knew she is married now and since she can't cheat on you,due to conscience or whatever. she expected you to be giving her all she needs, irrespective of your busy schedule... why not deal with that first by planning your time with her, then see if she will change... I believe she can be easily manipulated by you, since she is not giving you a silent and cold treatment.... her constant nagging shows she needs you to amend immediately... women can be so funny... note:I'm currently in such with my fiancee presently.. due to my NYSC posting we have been on this LDR thing for now,and I have not really had time for her like before..we hardly see,and she complains, nags at my little mistakes.but when I started shifting my attention back to her,her head is calming back a bit....
just be calm and amend...she is your wife now and not a fiancee or girlfriend... |

Who ur pity epp na? LordKO: Make I pity you, lol. Actually, "differing opinion" is different from derision, you should know this - it's a case of being tolerant vs being subjugable. Anyway, the OP should understand that I've no intention to hurt her or compound her woes. I offered my honest opinions in good faith and for her own good. Meanwhile, as you no come like vamoose, I no go tell you to . . . in its stead, as I still de pity you. |

Your direct tantrum says a lot bout how opposed to differing opinions you are. Before you dish out your cruel wordings u term advise, put yourself in the op's shoes. N next time , come up with a more hip word than vamoose. U realise this is 2019, right? LordKO: Your indirect tantrum says a lot about how parochial you're mentally. As a typical bumpkin (you're), I don't expect you to know that there's a distinction between a sociopath and a psychopath, and I'm not surprised that you can't discern and extrapolate thoughts and submissions.
Vamoose and direct your further tantrum to your ilk, either directly or indirectly. |

Internet psychologist plenty for here. Now assuming shes was really a sociopath, will she be sensitive enough to realize her actions could be hurting another ie the stepmother. theButterfly: Hi OP,
Since she's really nice to you and helps you out financially, then warm up to her. One tip is to let her know you're introverted. I can't tell you how many times people assume I'm being snobby, I'm ignoring them or that I'm being rude simply b|c I keep to myself, not knowing it's just my introverted nature. I've found that communicating this aspect of my personality to people helps avoid misunderstandings, lol. In fact, I remember telling one Professor about my shyness [I'm both shy and introverted] and I was surprised when she said she was once shy like me and gave me some tips.
You're neither a sociopath or psychopath. Anyone in your situation would keep to themselves, more so if you're an introvert. Your Dad should've told you he was going to move her in to prepare you for this new family dynamics, but just try and get along w| them, as this is a harmless situation and not the case of a wicked stepmother. |

Biko, wat hospital is this Shayo5: Hi,
the break down of the bills for my 2nd baby is below; Dr - $2200 Hospital - $4k+, i did not pay within the 30 days of my initial payment so i did not qualify for the self pay discount which was about $2300. Pediatrix - $ 750 labs - about $150 can't really remember.
the break down of bills for my 1st is somewhere in one of the previous threads can't remember the details.
i think the issue the VOs have is the stamp of insurance benefits incurred by hospital on the itemized bill, i did not apply for insurance or medic aid everything was paid for in cash.
guess i'll wait out the storm before another missionary journey. |
Family › Re: Wife: A Good Gift To Her Husband by Gloriagee(f): 3:01pm On Jul 24, 2019 |
A wife should be a gift to her husband and vice versa. However, a woman should look good for herself. It is unrealistic to demand that any spouse should always be willing to gift his/ her partner a body. Unfortunately, life is bout sowing and reaping... so inevitably if one sows unkindness and selfishness, invariably he/ she will see the partner reciprocate. I'm sorry to shatter your expectations but my kids for one def should enjoy my good qualities more than a spouse. N are you for real - A wife should also be wise enough to know what her husband needs per time/season and provide it. For instance, the needs of a doctor is different from the needs of a tailor or a lawyer. E de jo? Rora with the expectations!!! bukatyne: Good afternoon peeps or like we say, happy sunday
Just decided to drop this here:
A wife is a good thing/gift to her husband to better his life . In what ways is she a gift?
1. Beauty: She is to look good for her husband. Take good care of her beauty (inner & outer) and look good for her husband. It is not ideal to dress shoddy at home and deck up yourself when going out or in the midst of other people.
2. Body: She is to always be willing to gift her husband her body.
3. Resources: A wife is to bless her husband with her resources: time, money, gifts, talents, wisdom etc. No one else should enjoy your good qualities more than your husband.
A wife should also be wise enough to know what her husband needs per time/season and provide it. For instance, the needs of a doctor is different from the needs of a tailor or a lawyer.
A thought provoking question: Are you are gift to your husband? Do you use all you have to bless him?
P.S.: Please no 'what about men here:'
1. I am a woman. 2. The onus is one every woman to marry a befitting man.
I am guessing this is my shortest thread yet |

Trust me, I'm not typical and in marriage you can groom your wife to be a better person by sowing acts of kindness. Have a great Sunday too. otherway: Did you read the story of Emeka ike as regards why the wife left? please go back and do that...as for you saying you will leave a rich husband that verbally abuse then you are not a typical naija lady or you are just fooling yourself.
Have a great sunday. |

I would and Emeka Ike's wife did. As you grow older / more exposed and enlightened you'll realize that generalizations don't usually work. I dont hang out with foolish and hypocritical Naija ladies. Stop verbally insulting women whether you are rich or poor. otherway: That is the foolish hypocrisy with many ladies especially naija women... Puma too...whatever that means. Theres no justification for calling your wife a slut. Yall speak badly to a woman in the name of being a human not realizing you are planting seeds of discord. You dont need to speak when you are upset. Take a walk...do something and learn from the op, not everyone is receptive to insults. Shes 40 years n may never meet anyone else yet she still left. Shes happier being a sales girl to her aunt than chopping insult. I repeat learn from op. otherway: wettin this one dey yarn?

Wawu, how did I miss the memo? Yet to call my spouse or any other individual a LovePeddler or slut... guess I'm not human after all. Or is the name calling reserved for only male 'humans'? otherway: Relax bro...she is definitely coming back..mine had no child for me yet she came back.
Forget the fact that you were abusive to her and work back yourself to the top and watch.
I called mine a LovePeddler and a slut....we all are humans... |

Why do you badly want a woman with 'persistent shortcomings' to come back to you who doesn't do anything wrong? Still wondering how she destroyed your image by telling them the truth about your unguided vocal utterances. Wetin person no go hear. That woman is in no rush to return and you know why, ur words have extinguished any feelings she may have had for you. Work on yourself. You dont have to say anything while you are boiling. Excuse yourself and stew for a bit. Apologize sincerely to your wife for every unguided utterance in the past and promise to turn a new leaf. Tunagee: My wife literarily destroyed my image before my in-laws to such an extent that I can't even visit them again. She tells them i insult her and her parents, and i make negative remarks about them, that i abuse her verbally at the slightest provocation. Several lies against me that I did not allow her travel out, I don't give her money, I told her not to have another kid, that I told her not to work, her mother has decided to keep her with her as I speak without even calling me to discuss, even despite all my appeals. She has been with her mum now for almost ten months(my wife is a fully grown legally married faithful woman of almost 40 years)
Rather than resolve her marital problem by discussing with her husband, she takes it to her family claiming emotional abuse. Fine, I agree I get provoked cos of her persistent shortcomings, and of course, frustration which leads to unguided vocal utterances towards her, but this could have been resolved easily without having to involve her whole family. Now what she keeps telling my family is that her family said she should still hold on at her mum's place. This is the 10th month since October 2018.
Pls advise on what to do.
We are legally married. |

Good guy..keep helping your parents n saving. Hullabaloon: .
The secret is quite simple: I don't drink, I don't smoke, ain't got no girlfriend. Don't need one now.
So, the only expenses I make are feeding, T fare, and helping parents with cash when food stuff and other utilities run low at home.
I would have even saved more if not that I provided half of the rent where we currently stay, bought a new laptop and a new phone when I lost the previous one I had, and of course, upgraded my wardrobe |

I will literally freak out if I saw my 3 year old kid with a random stranger. Trust me, there's no chance in hell that's happening. I don't even leave my kid with church leaders, not to think of some guy I know nothing about. With the recent rape allegations and numerous kidnap instances, please don't blame her Iogobenz: So I went to the mall today to buy some groceries after the day's tussle. I was really angry today after some series of arguments with some people I went to have a meeting with. So after shopping for my groceries,I just left the mall, was hanging out at the parking lot a little to watch people do their thing and smoke my cigarette. So I lit my cigarette and was blowing my thing jejely in the cold weather when this young boy(about 3yrs old) ran towards me and we started playing. Seriously I've missed being with kids and I love them and I can play like a baby too.so I put off my cigarette and we continued our play. We were having fun till the mom came and yanked him off from me arrogantly and flung the boy in the car. Gave me one kind of bastard look and entered her car I was seriously angry and was waiting for her to say something derogatory make we burn down that mall today.would have poured all my anger on her today. She didn't anyways. So I thought about in and figured all of that display might be because she saw me smoking a CIGARETTE for heaven's sake. People here are something else.but her boy was very handsome sha! Life sef |
