@becky - pele, jst gettin home #lasgidi #traffic

The first step is to make up your mind abt yu want to do n stick to it. In d long run, you r responsible for your life n d directn it takes. There r several ways to go bout ds - u can tell him yu want to focus on ur studies n are not interested in a relatnship for d time being, start from how it was nice to be with him etc but that both of u nid time off, u for ur studies, his for his temper. Be nice but firm.

I don't subscribe to physical abuse @ all. A large percentage of abusers always apologise n promise neva 2 hurt their partners again n yet repeat the cycle. A guy you're not married to is beatin u n ur still calling him ur BF. Mind u, evn marriage is not evn a gd enuf reason. How do u reconcile his 'luv' wit d physical n emotional pains dt come 4rm his insecurity Can u tell me his gd pts dt overshadow this major flaw? If u think u won't survive the end of a 10 mth relatnship, I assure, u will.

If I were u, the only reason, I'll remain in d relatnnship is if I can C him take concrete steps towards managing his temper, some sort of anger mgt classes. Abeg, if d guy destroy ur face finish, rememba husbands r 'scarce' 4 evn fine gals. Wt u nid is emotional stability to focus on ur studies n jumpstart ur career

It's not what you think...I can explain
Romance › Re: ... by Gloriagee(f): 1:11pm On Jul 02, 2012
You have to step back and identify if u're doin anything, that gets him jealous - very free wit guys etc, chattin wit guys 4eva on ur BB etc. If you can honestly say , his jealousy is as a result of his insecurity, y'u may try making him realise that you're into him. u can try introducing him to your friends as ur boo, compliments not flattery n bonding wit him. All this of course depends on if u think The relationship can stand d test of time, if d guy is worth it n if he gets either emotionally or physically abusive when jealous. The bad thing is that jealousy is often times a flag for a manipulative and controlling personality.

I seriously don't know y pple r scared of broken relationships, if all else fails, pls rememba that A BROKEN RELATIONSHIP IS BETTER THAN A BROKEN MARRIAGE.

Romance › Re: Pls Ladies And Gents I Need Advice Asap!!! by Gloriagee(f): 6:48pm On Jun 28, 2012
Methinks he was ur first luv n that u've grown quite used to him. Not quite easy to let go of the familiar. If you are sure that u're not compatible, then I dont think a break up is a bad idea. Irreconciliable differences often arise from all the things we overlook in relationships. About the jazz, sadthat's a no no for me. Pastors + visions may b subjective if they're on ur mum's payroll, but wt scares me is that u actually think the bloke is capable of such. ur best bet is 2 hear from God by urself n rid urself of sentimentalities. wishin u d best

Hmmm, Danny's Angelgringrin Message from Nam is not bad, but my fav is The Long road home...My least fav is Irrestible forces, not been able to devour it after 3years and I only read her books wen I'm bored.
Family › Re: Wicked Uncle Took Land With The Pretence That He Will Help Secure Job For Me. by Gloriagee(f): 6:26pm On Jun 27, 2012
The fact remains that you are responsible for your destiny. I agree that your uncle failed you, based on ur story above , but u can see Y the Good Book says the arm of flesh will fail you. Do you have a contract for the land with your uncle or was it a gift? You really do not need to know anybody to get a job in Nigeria, once you can sell yourself as an asset to the coy, and I'll advise you to start looking for a job urgently. The jobs might not be very lucrative but it'd help you build experience. Note that employers do not look favorably at timing gaps in Cvs. I'm sure, you know that if you do anything worse than bombing, u might end up in jail, so ditch that thot.

It depends on her skills..she can try registering with a couple of recruitment agencies like estymol, people prime, adexen n work force. If she can afford it, she can also go the LBS MBA route. Cheers
Education › Re: Teach Me How To Lie To Ma Lecturer by Gloriagee(f): 5:55pm On Jun 27, 2012
I'm more interested in y u missd ur lectures in the first place. I'm sure u plan to work after ur degree, I'd advise yu to take a look at what potential employers r lukin for. I recently saw a recruitment advert by Stanbic Ibtc n they r askin 4 1st class. Most people that graduated with 2.2 did so because they did not have high GPs in yr 1.

Gdluck with ur studies
Fashion › Re: My Step Sister Left Home Dark Skinned And Return As Yellow Sisi by Gloriagee(f): 5:43pm On Jun 27, 2012
It's low self esteem that causes sturvs like ds. Black is beautiful sounds like a cliche, but it's true. The skin is even easier to maintain...try hiding spots on fair skin. If one can invest in a gd moisturizer n achieve glowing skin, dt's 100 times berra than coke and fanta face. BTW wen pple bleach, can dey eva stop or they'll hav to bleach till death? Let's not evn mention the risk of skin cancer, mschewww

Literature › Re: Nora Roberts Or Daniele Steele? Who Is Better? R They Worth Reading? by Gloriagee(f): 5:32pm On Jun 27, 2012
@ topic - Nora Roberts is a big no for me. Danielle Steele writes pretty well save that her stories typically have a pattern. One partner is miserable n longsufferin in his marriage, then has to divorce to be happy. I'm neither a fan of divorce nor predictability.
Poems For Review › Re: What Are Your Thoughts On This? by Gloriagee(f): 5:27pm On Jun 27, 2012
It's pretty good, but I feel it could do with some improvements. I feel its needs a bit more structure like in stanzas and a bit of imagery but I like the fact that u seem to write from ur heart. kiss
Gdluck wit ur writing

Pretty Curious 2, You won't have the orientation in the unsafe states but u'd still send corpers there. Or is the risk over a 3 wk period less than the risk over a year, duh!
Romance › Re: Help Advice Needed Urgently Before She Loss Her Fiance by Gloriagee(f): 3:31pm On Jun 27, 2012
@honeric, I'm all for self improvement -if its natural, going to the gym, changing her diet etc...but poster in her last line is
Any advice on where she can enlarge her breast. Thanks.
. I suppose ds refers to surgical breast enlargement. BTW, u seem 2 know quite a bit bout the topic, so care 2 share? grin
Romance › Re: Help Advice Needed Urgently Before She Loss Her Fiance by Gloriagee(f): 3:07pm On Jun 27, 2012
True, It's ur friend's body, abi? But, be4 she does anything, pls ask her to research the possible implicatns of breast enlargement. I thot love was supposed to be blind...so evrytime Oga complains bout her, she's goin go for surgery shocked. Well, I guess she's pretty loaded. She needs to step up on her confidence as I'm sure there r some sturvs in d guy's body that r not exactly model material.
Howeva, I'm not in her shoes, so I can't say how the shoe hurts.
Romance › Re: Afraid Of The Future In My Relationship by Gloriagee(f): 3:01pm On Jun 27, 2012
Dearie, the fact remains that he had several choices n he chose YOU. Ur best bet is to build confidence and bliv that whateva's meant 2 be will be. Nuffin makes a chick more unattractive than being low self esteemed, clingy n desperate. On the weight issue, u might try not eating later than 7:00 pm, snacking on fruits and salads, joining a gym. My mum lost abt 20kg by doing this n eliminating oil n red meat. There are several health hazards associated wit bein overweight n do it for urself. Trust me, ur BF's not doing u a favour by datin u.
Family › Re: Which Do You Support: Marrying The One You Love Or Loving The One You Marry by Gloriagee(f): 2:47pm On Jun 27, 2012
Well, based on the title - I'd say both are key. I'll marry the one I luv n wen I've married him, then I'll love him.
@op - its's always best if u marry whom u luv with parental consent. Parents shd always realise that pple r different, even my friends that are twins act different, so that something worked for u doesn't mean it'll work for me.
Romance › Re: Would You Marry In Another Country? by Gloriagee(f): 2:40pm On Jun 27, 2012
My marital decision would be based on love and long term compatibility grin I'm also of the opinion that marriage is bout tolerance and compromise so where to live would be ajoint decision btw my boo n I. I've seen instances of location n distance break up relationships so I'm being real wen I think ds should be sorted out be4 marriage. I also believe in seeking God's will - the steps of a good man r ordered by God (Ps 37:23) cool
