From a medical point of view, there is a disease called Lyme disease that is characterized by a bulls eye rash on the skin. As illustrated in most medical books with pictures of the white skin showing the redish bulls eye rash on the skin. But on black skin, this rash doesn't show the bulls eye cos of skin pigmentation so doctors might misdiagnose the disease on black people. Which is why medical illustration should shows diverse skin colour so medical doctors can learn and know what to look for on their patients.

Although I understand his view point, mere looking at the samples you can tell that lighter skinned illustrations do a better job due to the contrast effect it brings. All through my days at the department,we never had or heard that a body has been made available for practicals. Even when cultists die gruesomely, they don't use their bodies let alone someone whose body was deposited by her family.

That's what happen when people try to make a simple story seem sensational. First, the anatomy department is in Uniben and not UBTH. UBTH has her own morgue. Sometimes, dead are brought in for embalming at the anatomy department.
Two, it's impossible that the body brought in by the family will be used for practicals. In fact, the students yearly face tussle to get bodies for practice. Reason is that there are legal restrictions making it difficult to get bodies that are sanctioned for such by the authorities and when they become available, there is tough competition among institutions around the country to lay claim. The anatomy department can have just 2-3 certified bodies the whole year.
Three, bodies used for practicals are prepared with formaline to preserve them from decay before using them for the practicals. If you know what formaline is, you would understand that once it gets into that body, it is finished.

The gas finished yesterday. I told my wife that yesterday that I will buy the gas today because I needed to get to work and somehow raise money to augment what I have to be able to buy the gas. I told her to use the kerosene stove that yesterday and this morning. Guess her reply? She said she can't use kerosene even for a day. That even her Mum in the village does not use kerosene stove. She said a few other unprintable things.
For the sake of my 3 children I still had to buy the gas today.

I had not eaten in my house for a month now. The reason is that she said that they money I gave her for upkeep in October was not enough (I give her 62.5% of my monthly salary every month for our home upkeep). As a result she refused to give me food from around the middle of the month when she said the money had finished. She cooked for herself and the children (possibly from her own salary). When I gave her upkeep money for this month I told her not bother keeping food for me so that the money will go far enough. That's where we are till now. I have no intention of ever eating her food until she acknowledges that she was wrong and apologizes.

Fraud, Rituals, Prostitution in any form you know it and a long list of others. I bought one egg for #80 yesterday and 1kg of gas for #850. The projections show that parents will spend even lesser time with their kids now than ever before. Like Chinua Achebe wrote in his masterpiece, things are really falling apart.

So this lady left her home on the cover of going to church, on a rest day, to continue her marketing. I'm pretty sure there was a 'big fish' behind her she was trying to catch. Just few years ago, ladies could not put on the now-called modest trousers in public cos of the stares and look of disgust on people's faces let alone wearing such into a place of worship.
