for the sake of those of us who dont really know much about islam,could you enlighten us why mohammad has so much controversies surrounding him,for a prophet who should be seen to be holy and blameless and a shining example for what we the latter generation should follow and aspire to
he surely has not done a good job of it

1.he was alledged to be a sexual hedonist with proofs in the quran and hadiths
2.he was totally and unequivocally sexist
3.why the several inconsistencies e.g first he claimed to be persecuted at the beginning of his prophetic ministry when he wasnt i actual fact he was riling all the other religions up unnecessarily,
4.promote violence even against children as well

i could go on and on,not only that,surely its not a good example to promote hate speeches,marry a woman old enough to be my aunty(in these days when women married really young my mother's age mate)

while i am not getting involved in the whole debate,i really think you should adequately answer the questions noetic posed to you on the previous page rather than going off on a tangent about barnabas gospel and what not,moreover it seems to me you are simply patching and adjusting your doctrines to fit in with your stance as you go along and then conveniently pass over the negative bits you cant ignore by either contering with long winded islamic articles or changing the topic.

nice idea,the problem in nigeria is not for want of credible and lofty ideas, but implementation.another thing i discovered on my last trip to nigeria this august is that,we are always waiting for the government to do everything,why cant individuals,landlords associations,neighbourhood associations e.t.c all come together and collectively tar the minor roads and drainage system running in front of their houses,taring roads which are not more than 10/20 miles isnt a big deal,moreover it will have the causal effect of property appreciation and stimulating the local govt into doing something for them

while i am not knocking anyone,ill strongly advice you to make the liberian embassy your first point of call rather than a church or ministry you are not familiar with or not had any prior dealings with,while the man may mean well it is better to err on the side of caution,however if you must implicitly put your trust in any church,then let it be a known and prominent church like the redeemed church or deeper life e.t.c

as for your question,ill suggest you budget about 5,000 naira per day excluding accomodation,transportation is the most expensive and money sapping quest in lagos, i should know as i just came back about two weeks ago though my stay was shorter

in addittion to what the lady has written,church members who the pastorate and the church in general know as bonafide members are assisted financially,mostly on the down low to discourage everyone bringing frivolous requests for money,money is given to guest ministers,in the case of redeemed a percentage has to be remited to the headquarters either in nigeria or abroad,they also support dif charities mostly in their localities
