hey Folks, i had since put up a post indicating i urgently need to procure a dog (preferably an adult alsatian). Any dog owner, handler or someone knowing that there is a person wishing to sell should please contact me on hard_body99@yahoo.com |
naptu2: Spot the difference. The difference is that Ayodeji is a dumb Yoruba Fwool, always arrogat with nothing to show for being brazenly silly, Yusuf is a Notherner. An average northerner is humble and down to earth. There are other differences, but this will suffice Lol |
For them to be urging people to buy, the intinsic value has been eroded, insider dealing alone will disclose how bad it is. On the surface you will not notice anything. I recommend, 'caveat emptor' (Let the buyer beware). we are still smarting from the last securities down turn and my millions are still trapped, lol.(thank God I did not borrow or do bridge loans, by now i would have been hounded out of my skin) |

@Op, the family members are hoodwinked into thinking it is still a peripheral relationship. The moment they realize that you are digging that kid, they will arrest your ars*e. that girl is below legal and you should not be doing anything with her let alone marriage. I am begining to think you should really be locked away, did u say 30? and you want a girl of 16? are you like nuts? you want to waste her youth, middle and adult life? Fwool.... |

Maryspeck: I meet him 4 month ago, we are both a corper serving in the same same.although we av a little corel before and we just settle some weeks back before he finally said he is no more intrested without any excussSorry gurl, while at it, are you perhaps in anyway related to Dame Patience Jonathan, it does appear to me that she is slightly better than you in terms of english grammar. And for the hop-heads that use any opportunity to spurn graduates of institutions of this country, it might be a wise thing to caution yourselves a little. some have seen both sides of the divide and really and truly, given same circumstances, some guys out here will definitely come better than some of you, so let's just keep these things real. You are who you are, whether u studied and graduated from here or elsewhere. IMO |
Maryspeck: I meet him 4 month ago, we are both a corper serving in the same same.although we av a little corel before and we just settle some weeks back before he finally said he is no more intrested without any excussIt is this sort of grammatical constructions that has led him into wanting a break, i would too, if i were to be in his shoes, dayuummm........ |
whealthy: I beg to disagree, choosing to be docked for contempt would make him an ex convict which might affect his right to practise if tabled before the NBA.I do not agree either. I will rather be docked for contempt and seek tp purge same than frog-jump with a client. I hope you are aware that the chief magistrate will not take me on that day, if he does, it will be offending the administrative rule of .....in causa sua'. Having said that, i will be detained and under the democratic rules, i will appear before another magistrate or judge the next day, by which time i would have used my contacts in the NBA to reach out to the magistrate. I am also certain that colleagues will be in court to throw up issues if he decides to go with the contempt proceedings. My take remains that while in the temple of justice, we should all observe the rules and ethics, however, i will rather die than be brought to public odium, how would i appear again in that court? God forbid bad thing. |
All you guys just blowing air and insulting the soldiers either do not stay in Lagos or do not know the kind of reckless powers that these LASTMA guys wield. While i concede that the Colonel deserved the humiliation and also not generally supporting the soldiers for lawlessness, truth be told, i keep praying for days like these when such other authorities will overwhelm them (LASTMA) and beat them up thoroughly. THose hooligans will cook up any and every reason to arrest you unlawfully, extort money from you at the pain of beating you up if you do not pay. They rely so much on bits and pieces of voodoo given to them by some roadside jujumen. those guys are so much pain in the neck that i cannot wait for a total showdown between them and the army. I am on the side of the soldiers on this one, whether they are right or wrong in what they are doing, the recepient of the punishment (LASTMA) dictates my mindset on this. THose hoods accosted me once and said i was smoking in my car and that was an offence. I was carrying no passenger, so how could i be committing an offence?, when last i checked the Law, my car is not within the definition of a public place. We were both lucky sha, because i was going to run him down if he did not get off my way and i would perhaps have been strangulated by his other criminal members. Naturally if it was between the dead man and i, i will go scot free, or at most get convicted on manslaughter charges and given an option of fine which i will pay and walk free, Baastards and Heediots. |
proudly9ja: Exactly.I recall way back when i boarded a flight in Nigeria (Lagos enroute Abuja) in one of this now-crashed crafts ( i think it's Bellview), there was this lady that was a mate of mine at the Law School, in fact we shared teh same row of seats in the auditorium. She was one of the crew cabin. As son as i saw her, i was excited that i had met a long-lost colleague and then we exchanged pleasantries. That was teh last i saw of her throughout the flight till we disembarked. I later realized that she had opted to swap positions with someother person and perhaps either restricted herself to teh Business Class section or went the rear ofthe craft and remained there till all passengers disembarked. My point? she was making relatively good money at that point in time, but my presence was a determining factor for her at that point in time. It will therefore appear to me taht Nigerians will not accept the menial jobs here irrespective of teh amount, well, i for one would not whether here or there, otherwise why i did go to school, to learn how to clean and scrub public places? Naaaaah |
ebamma: a cleaner in the uk earns an estimate of 40,000 pounds to 70,000 pounds a year, which in naira is between 10 million to 17.5 million naira.many bankers in Nigeria dont earn upto that.stop misleading people. it is Heediots like you that fuel the desire of ignorant youths to abandon whatever meaningful life they can live and start seeking for ways of leaving the country. with the kind of figures you bandy around, little wonder people will go through the deserts and cross teh seas at dangerous straits just to get into Europe. If a sweeper earns what you claim, pray what does an average professional earn. Data is not scarce, i hope you do not embarrass yourself again. OLODO |
'SADMEN'.....una weldone ooo |
Several issues have been wrongly enmeshed in this unduly long write up. The truth is in Lagos you do not need a driver's license to drive on the roads. As commented elsewhere in this post, even blind and lame own licenses. Having said that, the FRSC never helped matters. I recall applying for driver's licence and never got one for close to one year. I was required to come every period to revalidate a piece of paper they gave me in lieu of the final licence. Since then, I call in a guy into my office, sign on a piece of paper and give him my passport, 2 days later I get a 'valid'licence. And by the way I hold 8 licenses from 8 different states of the federation. When FRSC catch and sieze one, I whip out another and continue my trip. This country of ours is fokked. By the way driving in Lagos is the most interesting challenge you can ever get, you drive for urslef, the guys in front and behind and besides you. You also drive for their passengers who don't even know nada about driving. If you drive in Lagos, you will drive anywhere else in planet earth |
How do i even start to calculate the consumption. ok lets see....on a full tank, my montero takes me to benin and would have gone down to near half tank. You work that out yourself. My huyndai takes me to owerri on full tank and then i refill. I hope this helps |
Who let this raving mad man loose again i thought he had been confined at Yaba? blind leading the blind |
Deliberately or inadvertently creating joblessness and unrest in Lagos and enlarging the already existing crime and insecurity in the state. Besides those guys always fished people out from the water when there were accidents or crimes that involved people either falling off the bridge or being forced over it. Now while those services are not justifiable reasons for them to be left there, I don't know what plans were put in place to relocate them or provide alternative jobs considering those guys were doing lumbering business. Talk about a failed state living on past glory. Sadly the impact won't be felt by govt as more tax is being exacted from well meaning Nigerians like me and my ilk. God will help them. |
I hold no opinion on this one, each to his/her own. However, i read somewhere about the health implications and teh fact that unlike most fads, tatoos are permanent and cannot be removed even when the wearer decides it is time enough to remove same. Generally speaking, it gives an impression of a 'bad girl' and for those that really look out for them (like i dont mind if a girl does all that and smokes and stuff)it might not matter much. teh real person is of the inner self. IMO |
honeric01: What relationship connects the Igbos to Lagos state and other states in Nigeria in the first place? what would you say if soldiers say Igbos should vacate Lagos and other states within 48hrs? especially the igbos that were born and grew up there? This is illogicality at its hihgest. Has the Igbos ever initiated attacks against the original owners of LS or anyone else for that matter, sometimes even when brazenly insulted, assaulted and humiliated. |
Patsey: AT THE HEIGHT OF THE WORST OF MILITARY REGIMES IN THIS COUNTY, NIGERIA WASN'T AS BAD AS IT CURRENTLY STAND TODAY. IN THE LIGHT OF THE ONGOING, UNTAMED ACTIVITIES OF BOKO HARAM, PARTICULARLY IN PLATEAU STATE, MAY FELLOW NIGERIANS PLEASE JOIN ME HERE IN CALLING ON WELL-MEANING MEMBERS OF THE NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES TO PLOT AND HATCH A MILITARY COUP D'ETAT AND BAIL US ALL OUT OF THE HANDS OF BOKO HARAM, GEJ AND THE LEGIS-LOOTERS -- ALL WHOM SHOULD BE SUMMARILY EXECUTED IN THE JERRY RAWLINGS FASHION! THIS, AT THE MINUTE, IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD FOR THIS COUNTRY.U simply echoed my mind. It has often been said that the worst civillian regime is better than the best military dictatorship.much as this cliche might sound logical, I think it is simply an issue of semantics. At best, it represents the general rule. For every general rule, there is always an exception. Nigeria's case has become an exception to this rule. It has never been this bad and it will only get worse. Ghana made a u turn after the Rawlings bloody revolution, we can toe that line. As for war, military incursion need not necessarily lead to war, it wount in Nigeria at least. We need a robotic disciplinary regime to beat all back on track. Does anyone here remember Idiagbon/Buhari regime? With WAI et al? Nigeria almost then got it right, let's go back to that era. Many will be imprisoned many will die but the present and future generation will be the better for it. I have spoken. |
