Lol. Of course I could sell them easily. The friend I patronized made big money and drove a brand new four wheel. But I sat with her and pointed out to her that the business model was not commercially viable. At first, like you, she argued but then in the course of her presentation one of her slides (issues by the company itself) pointed out that it is more advantageous to join early because as the program grows those that join late make little or nothing. So essentially as an early adopter, you would be running around convincing people to sign up for your own benefit knowing that either they or their own signees will lose their investment. My conscience is above that.

I knew all this when I paid for the products. I just wanted to patronise her.

I tested the products by using them myself, and giving some to friends. There was no special effect. I researched the ingredients and found they were just the same as regular products.

I approached stores to check prices and realised they were overpriced so even the stores wouldn't want to take them. But above all these, a simple logical examination should tell you that the underlying idea of network marketing is not commercially sound.

A company gives you a product and promises to give you unreasonable amounts of money if you get more people to sign on. Where is the money coming from? It's coming from two channels: one is the people who keep pumping money into the scheme. But because you always have to bring people in multiples, this number grows exponentially and the company accumulates a huge debt. The only way to recoup their money is if at a certain stage, a disproportionately large amount of people are not able to bring in anyone under their down line. Of course, this is the ultimate goal of every network marketing scheme.

Secondly, the money comes from inflating the prices of those products. So at the end of the day you can only cash out by:

1. Misleading people as to the benefits of the investment side of things; or

2. By misleading them as to the benefits of the product.

It doesnt seem like honest work to me.

Okay, I understand you now.
The particular network u joined didn't offer great products.
Early adopters earn more is a marketing gimmick just to make people join. If they had great products u will make money irrespective of the time one joined.
Though Not all network marketing companies have genuine intentions. Many are just time and money wasters. This makes it very important to research the products and understand the earning models that are available before one joins.

I have some guys courting me to join their networks but after my research I knew it isnt for me because I don't believe in their products and I know that I won't sell them.

I think research is the key. There are some viable ones out there just as there are so many shady ones.

The products are always overpriced. I tried network marketing once to patronise a friend and ended up using 80k worth of toothpaste and black soap by myself coz I couldn't bring myself to market what I knew to be somewhat misleading.

That's what you think because u feel u can't sell them. Guy, those products were sold to you, several other people bought and are still buying them.
If hadn't thought they were over
priced and u believed and wanted to sell those products, believe me, you would have sold those products and made a handsome profit in return.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: LA Buena Vida Is A SCAM! by infogenius(m): 6:28am On May 10, 2021
The easiest money you would make from network marketing comes from selling the products. Networking and growing ur downlines is cool, but thrive to sell the products inoder to make profits and earn commissions and bonuses.
This is the easiest cash out in network marketing.
Any network marketing setup that doesn't have good products u can sell, it's not worth joining.

Romance / Re: My Friend Is Blinded By Money And Gadgets In Her Relationship. by infogenius(m): 1:11pm On May 04, 2021
Preciousjewel01:
There's a friend of mine who doesn't get enough attention from her man in her relationship. she's always complained but he gives her same excuse "he's hustling". This time things went outta hand, after series of complaint he gave her the most savage replies. Telling her " oh,you're an ingrate, you're mad, since its attention you want, you have lots of wooers, you can chat them up when I'm offline to keep you company, go and look for your Mr perfect". It ended that way, the guy asked for a break up. My friend came running to me explaining that she only complained that he's not giving her attention. But yet its break up he wants. I told my girl, this guy doesn't deserve you. or are you blind? There are things a guy can and cannot say to his loved ones even when angry. Forget the guy.

my girl didn't listen. she came to me again saying they've settled. That he's apologised.
how did he apologise? by saying "oya,I'll send you money in the morning" pls isn't that insult? But no,my girl was smiling when she received the msg. she also said, he wants to get her a new phone that's why he's been acting that way. Tried explaining to her that self respect isn't pride. Did I advice my friend wrongly ? she sees me like I hate her rn.

Relationship matter e dey hard to put mouth.

Op, u only heard the side of ur friend's story but u have not heard from the guy.
Ur friend must have used the number of guys wooing her to intimidate her guy and he called off her bluff.
She must have realised that her utterances was part of the reason he wanted out but she apologized and they mended fences.
The money and the phone I doubt is a part of the bargain. I feel terrible guy wants to fulfill earlier promise and pay for her regular upkeep.

In conclusion u only acted and advised based on the story u heard.

Hi, infogenius.

Speaking of writing reviews, are you saying that you write ten reviews for one single product?

Haaa No, 1 review per product

HappenStone:

By the way, you mentioned using a WordPress website for affiliate marketing. I want to know if it's still possible to do so PROFITABLY now considering how atrocious the site address looks?

Would it not come across as spammy and even scammy?

I also have reservations for the url. Google sites is the way to go now.

That said, you speak of selling a property through you email list. Does that mean you cater to the Nigerian market?

Thanks!

Yes i do.

same thing almost happened too me in Enugu state, holy ghost precisely. A guy approched me asking for directions and telling me that he just came from Benin republic with goods speaking french, I understand french Wella (television, trousers, fridges etc) worth $5,000 and he is looking for someone a woman actually that has all the items but lost his way can I follow him and buy some of the items, another guy came and claimed he understands french and offered too interpret for the guy and said he knows the place the first guy is looking for that we should all go together. I was just looking at the fools like, what do you take me for? ok oga since you know the place oya two of you go bloody fools. people should be careful nowadays ooo...

Had a similar experience so many years ago.
I will continue from where u stopped.
in my own case I followed them, the French made it look he missed his way.
He decided to sell the electronics he brought and I came in handy to help sell them after all Alaba international no far from me.
We boarded a bus going to Oshodi, when it was time to pay, the guy brought out 20 lira. I had to pay for the trip.
We dropped at Cele bust and three of us went to a place I can't even trace.
In my mind, I don hammer. I was thinking of the new shoes I go buy go school.
We got into a room and after settling down, I told the guy to bring out the electronics so that we could get moving.
Story enter the matter.
This is where I lost interest and I was praying for a bailout. The bailout came in a subtle way that I recognized it immediately the opportunity arose.

In the end he came up with him having drums of paper that when washed with a chemical and Omo, it will turn to money.

He did a sample and he brought out money from the Omo solution.
The problem was that he had run out of the chemical and the money he would have used was with the woman that he was trying to contact before he lost his way..

So, me and the third guy would raise money for the chemical.
The chemical was sold at the airport for 450k for a bottle and we needed 3 bottles to wash a drum of papers.

I promised to raise 1.5m from my dad's savings and after an oath, I was given 40 minutes to get the money.

I was so happy to leave that dingy room.
Na so I find my way out and went my way.

I may continue from here based a friend's experience.

The bottom line is that we just have to be very careful.

4. Not Building an email list

Many affiliates are making this mistake nowadays. They are so carried away with the products they are promoting and how to get customers to buy them.

These guys don’t even think of how many leads that would have turned to lifetime customers they have let go off their hands.

Once you have them in your list, you can sell anything you want to them.

Recently, I saw an ad on Facebook on real estate. The merchant was offering a product on how to convert leads to customers using facebook ads. After reading through his ad, I laughed, because even the 7k book he wanted to sell, he was not building a list, how much running an ad to sell a property of N40m and leads will just skip away.

I have sold three different properties to a lead I got online. Keeping her on my list was the best thing that happened to my business. And after she bought the first one, she bought another higher priced property and then a third. Her brother was referred and he also bought a property. This is the power of list building.

3. Learn more

When you stop learning you start dying, said a wise man. Internet marketing is evolving single everyday. New marketing models are springing up. I have come to realize that even after over 10 years as a marketer, I am still buried in learning. Many cases, in learning, I have generated amazing new ideas not written anywhere to employ to improve my business.

Many marketers fail because they don’t learn, they feel they know it all and as a result the times have left them behind.

If you want good results from this business, take time and learn it in and out. And continue to improve your knowledge about the basics of affiliate marketing.

2. Insufficient preparation

To get started, an affiliate marketer must plan his marketing campaign from the niche he wants to go into (after research), the site or medium he is going to employ to attract visitors to his affiliate links, the content and the ads.

People see through how organized you are. The better organized you are the better your chances of earning from your visitors.

1. Hard work

To make money, you cannot push hard work aside. Depending on which marketing model you want to follow, you have to invest time and a huge amount of work in promoting products.

As an article writer, I know how much work I have put in time and energy churning out content since the 1st day of April alone.

I won’t write only one review and expect to make money, I write several reviews and in most cases, out of every 10 reviews I write, averagely about 4 gets good that earns. Imagine if I wrote only one and went to sleep.

Understand it’s a business and so you will have to put in the work or outsource.
Business / Why Does It Seem That Affiliate Marketing Is Hard? by infogenius(m): 12:50pm On Apr 22, 2021
I am going to give a few reasons why it seems affiliate marketing is so hard that many people fail.

Every day, many people join the affiliate marketing bandwagon thinking it’s a means of picking very easy money.

But the truth is that success in affiliate marketing depends on the affiliate’s advertising, promotion and selling strategies.

The question is why do many people fail in affiliate marketing and why is it hard for newbie’s to get it right?

It depends on what ur business is all about and the town.
Create awareness in ur locality (within ur area) by
1. Word of the mouth
2. Creating and sharing fliers
3. Offer great deals like discounts on ur goods and services.
4. Be nice to ur employees, customers and people within your environment.

Since I don't have an idea of what you want to promote, I can't say much.

Just as this politics play out in Sports like football so it plays out between the Elites and masses in this country.

The ESL project is not dead,it will resurface again because the big clubs are into the business to entertain and make more money.
Any interest that does not guarantee profits for them is an enemy.

I would like to know if blogs can generate >50k a month. Or how long it would take to do that, and the necessary things to put in place to achieve that before I venture into it.

Please help
Comments don't buy stuff Bro.

Blogging is still very profitable despite competition.

It's just that many bloggers don't make money but a few do make tons of money.

You can make over 50k monthly on ur blog, however there are conditions.
1. Consistency in posting relevant content
2. Fully optimized contents
3. Monetise ur contents.
4. Spend money if need be for traffic so that u can get faster results.

Finally, this should be the first. Blog around an evergreen niche with many products u can sell through your blog.

At first it was Barcelona fans blaming Perez until Perez revealed yesterday that he didn't even have to convince Barca president considering their difficulties. What you need to know now is that the British media are now trying to start a propaganda war /psychological operations to try and manipulate an outcome. Nothing is happening. In fact, Abramovich is in a yacht somewhere with 15 models drinking champagne and anticipating 3.5bn alert. You think billionaires cares about the emotional tantrums of clowns on Twitter?
