hisexcellency34:/ Fake result. There is no way in hell Tinubu got up to 100k votes in Lagos. / |
ROYH:/ Did you leave a USB thumb drive while trying to power on your PC? If yes, remove it. Then restart your system. If not, you need to go into your BIOS settings to make some changes in your Boot order and see if you can Boot from other source than HDD. Perhaps, it should be time to upgrade to SSD. / |
/ The main good thing about free and fair election is that it reminds folks like Keyamo, Gbabajamila, etc that their importance only lies in their brains. Just look at Keyamo looking dejected and deflated. How can he go back and face Tinubu after all the deceptive verbal abracadabra? I believe some refunds will be necessary if Tinubu loses this election or Keyamo needs to embark on mandatory exile because McOlumo will press his balls. / |
https://twitter.com/GazetteNGR/status/1629582360755707908?t=4wGx3brUmxI06rpbS5OaUg&s=19
/ He is not supposed to deliver his unit. Everyone chopped Tinubu mugu big time. Who no collect na olodo. / |
/ So for this naira scarcity he get liver carry bundles of money enter polling center. Na free money na. Wisdom is not common. / |
/ No party supported by Tinubu has ever won votes by wide margin in Lagos. Some people just love to chain themselves and give the keys to Tinubu to swallow. I can't imagine a candidate whose only hope to win election is thuggery. He forgot that Lagos is only 1/36 of States in Nigeria. So what exactly does it benefit Tinubu to win Lagos in the Presidential election and lose in all other States? / |
/ So after all that crowd that followed APC/Tinubu in the North during campaign, he is getting 14, 23 and 8 votes here and there ![]() / |
/ The most shocking thing is that LP is the one giving APC a hot chase in APC's strongholds. I guess Structure has gone digital--a concept analog politicians and their supporters cannot comprehend. / |
/ Just waiting to see if the population on campaign grounds is reflected in the pattern of voting. / |
/ I would never disown a son for being a carpenter because he is a legit learner but... I will definitely disown him for wearing a cowbell nose ring. / |
chccho:/ Do you go out a lot? If Yes, then it will be very difficult to find a wife. How do you expect a man to settle down when almost all ladies out there are into hookups and runs? It numbs the spirit. But once you decide that you want to get married to have kids, it becomes easy. In Nigeria, love is the special attention you get from her after you spend on her. It doesn't exist. The more you spend, the more the attention which could easily be misconstrued as love. Oyibo created that fantasy in novels and just like in the issue of Bible, people embraced it as the gospel truth. In all, remember to guard your pocket. / |
/ Wike doesn't seem to realize that this is the tail end of his 2nd tenure. Nobody loves him. They only love the position he currently occupies and will show the same level of love to his successor. It ain't got nothing to do with love. People are only protecting their interests. On Saturday and subsequent elections, he will only cast his one vote and hope for the best. The temporary loneliness that awaits him a few months after he leaves Government house will shock him. People will even let his calls go into voicemail ![]() / |
/ Usually these are the touts and urchins that determine the future of Nigerians because the educated and reasonable one are too posh or comfortable in life to be bothered. Then the inevitable happens...and wailings follow suit. Do these people hailing Tinubu look like those with positive outlook and hope in life? Politicians like Tinubu understand the game knowing that folks like these are worth only N2k and 3 cups of rice each ![]() / |
/ That Kperogi rejoinder has really jolted the judges back to reality that impunity breeds disrespect and disrepute. / |
/ Some jobs are for young people. In some skilled jobs, advance in age is an advantage. Would you rather have a 28-yrs old doctor or a 55-yrs old doctor? The young doctor may be intelligent but age limitation will cast doubt on his experience. / |
/ Historical data (Lagos State): 2011 Presidential election PDP: 1,281,688✓ ACN: 427,203 (This was the best Tinubu could do?) ![]() CPC: 189,983 2015 Presidential election: APC. 792,460.✓ PDP. 632,327. Difference: 160,133 votes 2019 Presidential election: APC. 581,825 ✓ PDP. 448,015 Difference: 133,810 votes So with all the rigging machines of Tinubu, his thugs' threats to voters and voters disenfranchisement; Tinubu had never had an overwhelming win in Lagos State contrary to the invicibility they ascribe to him. One would think his party has had 90% win rate in Lagos considering all the noise. He reminds of WWE wrestlers who make noise before wrestling matches for clout. I won't be surprised if he loses Lagos on Saturday if the election is fair and credible. / |
seaenergy:/ You can go to the court and tell them this story and Ekweremadu will be exonerated immediately. Don't waste your talent on nairaland. / |
/ Necessity is the mother of invention. Soon someone will figure out how to dye the old notes to match the colour of the new notes. The least Emefiele could had done was create a new distinct design. / |
/ Politicians everywhere sacrifice urchins to retain power. You will notice that Russians stopped bombing Ukraine until Bidden left. Russia won't bomb the location of Ukrainian President. So who is deceiving who? One can't help but feel sorry for the pawns in the chessboard of politicians. A few months down the line, there will be a peace accord which means that all those who were killed in the war died for nothing. / |
/ IBEDC office? I am not a prophet but I can tell that Sagamu won't be getting light in the next two years ![]() Eyes go clear Nigerians by fire or by force. After una fight for politicians finish, after Saturday your access to them will reset to zero until the next 4 years. To your tents oh Israel. Every Mallam and him kettle. / |
/ The judges especially the ones in Supreme court have made so much mockery of themselves that I foresee a situation where Supreme court pronouncements will be roundly disregarded. Unlike in Imo State when the Supreme court had some respect, it could mean that the SC may declare the election of a governor as NULL and void and the governor will tell them to go f@ck themselves. We may have to find a court higher than Supreme court to adjudicate the injustices of corrupt, cash and carry SC judges. Hope Uzodinma's case was an outlier. But Akpabio and Lawan's judgments were when everyone knew that the judges up there are tabula rasa. / |
ShaqFu:/ No need to quarrel. When you build your own, you can put the kitchen close to the sitting room. / |
Britishcoins:/ Is this your life or public life that you are asking for strangers' input? Don't marry any of them. I think the naked mad woman in the market square will be a perfect wife for you. Nigerian ladies are really suffering. So one day someone's daughter will call you a husband. I think you are more of a wife. / |
/ Let them not vote. I think after the election, online giveaways should attract 10 years imprisonment for the giver because it is supporting laziness among the youths. / |
cunny88:/ Because when push comes to shove, you will be one of those in his DM begging for giveaways... and when he doesn't come through, you bitch and whine that he is stingy. That my friend is how you annoy him. / |
/ On the contrary, your wife should have done due diligence and avoided you like a plague. No woman will ever be good enough for you as far as your mother is concerned. You are her investment and she is emotionally blackmailing you. She is living her life through you. With the level of animosity between your mother and wife, you are one step away from a pastor telling you that your mother was responsible for the death of your child. Your problem is complicated and complex. Depending on how much you can handle the truth, the problem is your mother. She refused to get a life of her own. You have to find a way to manage her which may include tough love. / |
Bmaster:/ People have been making similar statements since 1980. Change the President. But you can't change the devil factory-fitted in each Nigerian. Nigeria can never change until public firing squad against looters is introduced in the system. Until then, let's keep kicking the can down the road. Many countries including South Africa are strong enough to send ex-Presidents to prison. / |
/ Buhari's tenure ends in 1 week. Once the election is over and a winner is announced, you will see how quickly allegiance switches in Nigerian politics. When he gives orders as the C-i-C, his subordinates will be reading the body language and utterances of the new President before taking actions. / |
/ When you are young, by all legal means try to build even if it is 1 bedroom selfcon for yourself. Time flies. / |
/ Well...not when INEC intentionally frustrated people from collecting PVCs. / |
/ This is his last term. Loyalty to him has ended. Loyalty is only to the office not the individual. / |
