Explorers: A Japanese designer has unveiled transparent public toilets with glass walls that become opaque when they are occupied.
Acclaimed architect Shigeru Ban came up with the idea which he said was intended as a practical way to allow users to check for cleanliness as well as whether the toilet was occupied or not.
Localchampion: Now after the fourth day that I finished the program I originally came for, I lost my money, about 150,000 ....
Please should I marry this kind of Man? I really don't know why I should because it seems his happiness towards me, his affection and romance is dependent on fulfilling ROLES in his head.
/ Your marriage, your cross, your problem. Enugu boys are known for rubbing powder and doing fine boys. They are not providers like men who grew up in commercial cities.
Whitecoal711: bro hatred can't get us any where The only proven weapon against this kind of suffering is love Christ and Christianity is all about love
/ I am an oracle. I don't love my enemies.
That's why they prefer to swear by your Bible so that they can get away with atrocities.
/ These arguments about doors, laser cnc cutters, wrought iron is why I will contract the carpenter at eke Awka to build my doors the good old way--chisel, hammer, rough hands. If you don't like it, come and beat me.
I believe in what works for security. Latest fads in Nigeria are costly and rarely last. Two years down the line and it becomes old model. Stay with what works. That door is too fanciful for my liking.
ToluNazzal: So, i made my first visit to the Eko Atlantic City with a friend after so many years of putting it off and i was impressed with what i saw. While i think it will take a while for the project to be completed, i think it's gradually taking shape.
/ The first major assignment in Nigeria is how to blend in. Personally I like cars that are unique but realized I cannot comfortably drive them around in Nigeria. Get a decent car you can park anywhere and it won't raise an eyebrow. You may see fellas pushing G-Wagon, Range Rover, etc. But these fellas know how dem dey waka. You that just breezed in may not be well-versed on the Apian ways. I noticed in a city like PH, moving with police escort is more of a status symbol than anything else. Like I said, those folks know how things work. Avoid such lifestyle at all cost. It doesn't hurt to have everyday car you can park comfortably anywhere to enjoy "point-and-kill".
Avoid relations that want to use you to show off. It may never end well. They are doing it for themselves with less concern about your security.
Now talking about houses. That's one big dilemma. The year you finish your mansion in Nigeria, you will visit frequently and it gradually dies down. Three years down the road, the house looks abandoned. I call it vacation home. No.mansion for me. It is a waste of money unless in a big city.
/ Any endorsement in Anambra now by Arthur Eze is toxic and a sure way to lose an election. Arthur is arguably the most hated man in Anambra now by just about anyone. Tony Nwoye's loss would be a child's play. /
oz4real83: If not that the Nigerian international passport is very useless and can only take u to hungry and meaningless countries, these are interesting places to see the beauty of nature. I envy the citizens of those countries whose passports are powerful enough to visit anywhere in the world and at anytime without the stress of queuing at embassies for visas that have 99% chance of not being granted
grandlexuz: He is entitled to his opinion. Reasoning out of reason doesn't make him a rocket scientist. However I can accurately say you know not the story of coups and the brutality of millitary regimes in Africa.
/ How old are you?
Please educate me on the beauty of "democracy" in Africa considering what happened in Nigeria(OBJ-Buhari), Cameroun(Biya), Gambia (Jammeh) and Zimbabwe (Mugabe)as case studies.
kingreign: If military rule will make things work for them, I am totally in support of it. If democratic rule will not work, I'd kick against it. It's high time we stopped copying the Western world and do something that will work well for us by charting a new course in our continent and country's own growth part. Democracy isn't working for most W. African countries truth be told.
/ Rarely do you see independent thinkers in Africa especially Nigeria.
An educated Nigerian is simply someone who is capable of vomiting what s/he has been fed. S/he is bereft of unique ideas.
