/ I don't understand why someone who is well off will be showing off online. Are people's lives so vain and shallow that they need accolades from.strangers to.feel complete? It beats me. / |
SouthernBreeze:/ She didn't hold any political position. But she is a "Politically Exposed Personality" Better, make she come explain where she pick the N1trn wey she spend. |
bluaero:/ You build a house on a weak foundation. And when the house falls, you blame the new tenant that just moved in. If you ring Toyota up today, they will show you a sketch of 2020 Toyota Camry. Serious nations do not live in the moment like Nigeria. They plan years ahead. Nigeria should have billions saved from the oil windfall. Other nations are living off of their savings. Just like on a personal level, if you fail to save for the rainy days; when it rains, it pours. Right now, it is pouring for Nigeria. / |
/ This is another proof that Nigeria is a feather weight nation. Nigeria is the giant of Africa as much as a chronic stammerer is the king among the dumb. If Nigeria were to be a serious nation, some verbal intervention from Emefiele will provide reprieve for the naira. The king is dancing naked in public! Instead of thinking outside the box, the people supposedly in-charge will consult western textbooks for solutions. God forbid Africans used their brains to be trendsetters in any discipline. We are born to.be followers and copycats. When everything else fails, they will bring religion into it.-- if not the will of God, it is the devil. \ |
/ That man in suit...What a shiny head?! / |
/ It is good to include steroid in the treatment regimen. 2 puffs Symbicort BID (one in the morning and one at night) for maintenance, then use fast acting Combivent (albuterol sulfate/ipratropium Bromide) for PRN (as needed). Most importantly, find the triggers and stay away from them. \ |
/ My biggest surprise is that someone would intentionally submit herself to any of the health techs parading themselves as doctors in Nigeria. Take a look at the hospital environment, the fear of nosocomial infections should be enough deterrent. Ineptitude, nonchalance, corruption, and other vices have become traditions in Nigeria. Buhari may try as much as he wants, it will take generations before any semblance of sanity returns to Nigeria. / |
/ GEJ's issue can be summarized in the Chinese saying that "softry softry catch monkey. He is being tactfully baited by PMB's administration. / |
/ Truth hurts. Evil thrives when a few good men remain quiet. I guess if a country is burning, religious leaders should keep quiet and concentrate on getting tithes and offerings from the masses only. Catholic bishops...please show us in your infinite wisdom how to differentiate between prophecies from God and satan. Bunch of clowns. From Moses, Elijah, etc. men of God were used in the bible to deliver messages to kings and leaders. In most cases, those messages were not melodious to the ears of the kings. I don't know what is bad about Mbaka's message: No 2nd Niger bridge. Fact. Dilapidated nature of Enugu-Osha expressway. Fact. Goodluck is Bayelsan. The "Eberechukwu" appendage was a gimmick. Fact. To castigate Mbaka, they should start by pointing out which of the things that he mentioned that is a lie. / |
/ Why would she tell anyone in Nigeria about her movement? She failed the first test. Some of us will be in Nigeria for a week before anyone knows that we are around. Going to the village? Yes! Usually a day or two before departure from Nigeria. / |
/ I believe him. But I will like to know how much he gains in a year serving Nigeria. If he loses a million dollars and gains $5m serving Nigeria in a year, he will still be profit. / |
/ What are the conditions for the bail out? One of the conditions should be that the governors take a month crash course in finance and fiscal discipline organized by the FG and taught by the governor of Anambra State, Mr. Willie Obiano with guest appearance by Mr. Peter Obi. If they can organize leadership jamboree to Europe and U.S., they should be able to pay these two gentlemen to lecture them at Awka. Nothing less than one month. / |
Ucheosefoh:/ 3G network in 2016? What are you people? Cave men? SMH. 4G LTE for smartphones or the thrill is dead. / |
/ Africans are the global guinea pigs for all experiments that tickle the fancy of western scientists because they are beggars without any choice. Like the Americans say, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Free vaccines, free medications, free this and free that. Who am I to complain? After all, they are dealing with stupid Africans who know no better. Before you take any medications, try "googling" the side effects. Oyibo still get compensation after years of using medications that were pulled off the market for adverse effects. What do Africans get in such situation? Nothing! No class action lawsuits. Just the belief that the side effects are their destiny. Embracing Africa is akin to identifying with a losing team. It is not as if the resources are not there, it is just that mental laziness was engraved into the brains of Africans. / |
peacengine:/. You ended up proving me right when I said that Nigeria will be great but Nigerians are not psychologically ready for a great Nigeria because of the plethora of mo.rons that fill the landscape. In a country of about 200million, you feel that only two individuals have the birthright to the Presidency--GEJ or PMB. I give up. / |
peacengine:/ Voting for GEJ shouldn't have been an option. The biggest mistake that I pointed out during the campaign was the choice of Buhari - old, inarticulate and unassuming to lead Nigeria in this 21st century. In 1985, Buhari was a figurative Head of State (to placate the North over the sack of Shehu Shagari) because Tunde Idiagbon was the one in charge. Buhari's ascent to power was on the integrity of Idiagbon amplified by the carelessness and idiocy of GEJ. PMB and GEJ are two individuals who have no business being in Aso Rock if Nigerians aim for a vibrant nation. Like the indigenous people of Imo State, Nigerians seem to thrive on choosing one wrong leader after another. / |
/ So Bolaji has been kicked out of Otuoke? LOL. / |
/ You dated some lady for 7 years and still living on hope? The time you would have used to build yourself, you wasted it on building a girlfriend. And because she is a girlfriend, you should have known that there are no guarantees. If this were to be your WIFE, I will be sympathetic to your plight. Life is full of challenges. It is a survival of the fittest. If you think you cannot live without her...If you think another human being defines who you are....If you think your destiny rests with some lady....well, I wish you safe journey to yonder. Extend my greetings to my ancestors there if you meet them. / |
chelseaboi:/ That is H1 Humvee. It is too expensive and not readily available for purchase. A proud owner of one is Arnold Schwarzenegger. This is the real Humvee and not the Chevrolet Tahoe renamed Hummer H2 sold to the gullible masses until they figured it out / |
/ Long story short... They will bypass the meters. Nigerians!!! / |
/ What is the crime? His name is Prof. N. Obiaraeri Obiaraeri in Igbo literally means "he came to chop" What other clues do people need? He is living up to his surname. That's all. \ |
/ Even if it is witch-hunt, I totally support it. I don't care who goes down as long as someone goes down. None of the folks shouting "witch-hunt" benefited from the folks but they are ready and willing to stick their necks out for criminals/looters. I am still suggesting public execution for these looters. / |
/ Without capital punishment, corruption will thrive in Nigeria. I believe a suspect throws away his human rights as soon as it can be established that he/she looted the commonwealth. Straight to the gallows or firing squad |
kekakuz:/ Dangote has been avoiding me too because he said I don't make his daughter happy. I think your problem is that you have stayed unemployed too long that you have resorted to daydreaming. |
/ Giant of Africa indeed! LOL. NK cannot do anything to Nigeria. Before anything they send can reach Nigeria, meaningful countries will intercept it. Nigeria military is still rooted in the 1950s --the era of AK47 and brute force. If enemy fighter jet enters the Nigerian airspace, what will happen? Nothing! Nigeria is a sitting duck. I don't know why Cameroon will not forcefully annex Nigeria. / |
/ It is a dog for crying out loud. At 14, get onions, tomatoes, garlic and vegetable oil ready. Then go buy another one. There are more pressing problems for an average Nigerian living under $1/day than a blind dog. Do you expect the dog to outlive you? / |
SIRTee15:/ This is because you chose to believe the story as reported. Many Nigerian men are languishing in jails today on trumped up charges including but not limited to r@pe, molestation, etc.Just because someone felt she could. A particular man from Anambra state almost went in because the wife accused him of molesting his daughter. Good thing that he hired a good attorney. Further investigation revealed that the wife coached the daughter on what to say but as a minor she couldn't put her lies together. She admitted that her mother told her to say so. The reason was that they were having marital issues and the wife would inherit everything if the man is locked away for a very long time. They finally got a divorce. The woman looks haggard and unkept these days. You may choose to believe whatever you want, but knowing how crazy Nigerians' issues in US can get, I don't believe the story. Long story short: Don't import anyone from Nigeria be it nanny, wife, husband. Perhaps you are not aware that there are millions of illegal immigrants in US. The biggest defaulters are the Asians and their people hire then under the table. The same thing goes for Mexicans. The authorities are aware and you could hear about it in the Presidential debates. It is not a Nigerian thing. Most people that come in do not want to leave and that's the number one reason for visa denial. If you step into US, will you leave? / |
/ I don't believe the story. It is very obvious that the news has been highly embellished. The lady was not turned into a slave. What you are seeing here is why I tell people to desist from a) bringing a nanny from Nigeria b) going to bring a wife from Nigeria. Usually what happens is that once the people settle in, they may be goaded by a) frenemies b) competitors c) real enemies to go for the jugular. The three groups mentioned above will covertly provide the information, logistics and legal support to the nanny. It has happened so many times that I am surprised that people still do it. It got so bad that even mothers-in-law who came for omugwo started suing too. Some people took the hints and stopped bringing their mothers-in-law over. What it does is that it has permanently closed the door for many others. Maltreated? Probably. Converted to almost a slave? No. I don't know the couple but the accusations have Nigerians' thumbprints all over it. It usually starts with exchange of words in organizations, meetings or social media and ends with "I will show you". / |
/ Of course! There are too many idle minds who are looking for things to do. They take solace in romance to keep body and soul together. The same reason poor people have too many children. \ |
/ Muscle cannot stop hollow point 9mm. I prefer to be strapped with a glock. \ |
/ Who in his right mind will eat a cucumber kept anywhere in the house when a lady lives in the house too? \ |
