The ones that debunk this will not hesitate to turn on to a foreign media outlet to watch "paranormal activities" and believe it
is awesome.Science believes in ghost. Heck. Science came up with Ghost Hunting Equipment EVP, IR PRO Light, Mel Meter ATDD,
FLIR iR Thermal Camera, just to mention a few. Go figure! As a matter of fact, people have careers as paranormal investigators
in Western world. See how cute that sounds---Paranormal Investigator! But because we self-loathe, were it to be a typical
African brand, we will call it all sorts of derogatory names to align ourselves with the Caucasian lords.

Science is not only limited to Chemistry and Physics!

The Sleep Paralysis thing as a general explanation for this phenomenon is total BS.

Science has the explanation but still could not explain why it is associated with a stranger/demon in the room.
From which muscle group or REM does the stranger come from? Or the fact that sometimes, these occurences do have
human faces to them.

There are so many things that science has failed to explain succinctly and I think this is one of them. I have
had the experience several times and after saying some prayers it never happened again. I believe there is some
level of spiritual attack to it. Does Sleep Paralysis exist? I bet you. But spiritual attacks should not be
covered under the blanket definition of Sleep Paralysis just as not every combination of headache, sweating and fever
is attibuted to malaria.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It A Sin Not To Attend Sunday Service? by InvertedHammer: 4:09pm On Feb 24, 2013
Honestly, this religion thing gets confusing.

Jesus said,"no one can go to the father except through me".

Is the goal to get to the father(God) or to worship Jesus?
I think this is where the confusion comes in.

There are christians that worship God. eg Jehovah Witness, Catholics, Anglicans.
There are christians that worship Jesus. eg. Pentecostals
There are christians that worship Men of God, daddy, etc. eg......(fill in the gap)

Aren't we supposed to be worshiping GOD?
I love how people interpret the bible however they wish to to suit their wanton desires. Next you know this fool will be giving bible verses to justify why stealing, cheating, lying, murder, adultery, prostitution etc are "favorable in God's eyes"
Afterall, the adulterous woman condemned to stoning found favor in God's eyes. So did the thieves at the cross. So does that mean that all women should become prostitutes in order to be accepted by christ or that all men should become polygamous or thieves in order to "find favor"?

what you should be praying for is wisdom and spirit of discernment. Ability to read the bible and understand God's word in a sensible way. then maybe you won't be on NL spewing trash...
You can rant all you want...the reality on ground is that there are increasing cases of extra-marital affairs everywhere. You can blow away your brain cells quoting the bible..it will
not change the fact neither will it change your life in fantasy land. Polygamy is not something you can wish away. If it works for anyone, go for it. Period.

You mentioned the prostitute in the bible...Jesus forgave her and used her to expose the hypocrisy in humans. That is unlike Solomon, David, etc. whom we were made to
understand had multiple spiritual encounters with God. Why didn't God tell them that polygamy is unfavourable in his eyes?

It is absurd albeit funny how everyone seems to know what God wants. c-Four I bet you are worse than the polygamists you condemn.
Celebrities › Re: Lola Alao - If A Married Man Makes You Happy, Please Go For It” – by InvertedHammer: 6:07am On Feb 24, 2013

What she said is open for debate. If you don't satisfy your better half, someone else will.

It takes two to tango. If polygamy makes you happy...go for it.

Most men (David,Solomon, etc) that found favour in the eyes of God were polygamous. If God did not judge then, who am I to judge?

Some women wreck their homes and blame their men.

The hustlers only dress well and shake their bum at these men. No married man is held at gunpoint to toast a lady.

Neither is any single lady held against her will to marry a married man. As long as all parties are willing
participant...I give my kudos!

For every 1 good talent out there, there are thousands with similar talent that failed.
For every successful educated person out there, there are thousands with similar level of education that failed.

As you make your bed, so you lie on it. Just keep praying that providence presents at the
right place at the right time with your education or talent

Car Talk › Re: Why Are Nigerians Scared Of VOLVO by InvertedHammer: 8:22pm On Feb 18, 2013
I had a 2003 S60. Very nice car. I drove full tank of gas from Lagos and had to top off at Onitsha. I liked the car...

Issues:

1. The interior leather is known for easy tear and wear.
2. Transmission problem...I changed the tranny twice in 1 year (being toks automatic, anything could happen)

Considerations:
The one I bought was an accident car. So, that could have contributed to the other little issues I had with it.
But transmission issues are common with the S60 as I learned from chatting with other Volvo owners in an online forum.

Otherwise, it is a car I would recommend to anyone.
Family › Re: The Recent Kidnap And Release Of Kemisola Uthman by InvertedHammer: 6:14pm On Feb 17, 2013

I drive around in Nigeria anytime I want....I am more concerned about armed robbers than
kidnappers. On January 25th this year, I left Abuja around 4pm and got to Enugu around 10pm.
The problems I encountered were around Nsukka zone--multiple police checkpoints. They were
surprised seeing me driving by myself with a foreign license plate at that time of the night
alone. I usually settle with N100 or N200 and continued with no much yawaa.

Kidnappers dare not kidnap me, I AM BAD MARKET. Nobody will pay my ransom. So why bother?
Car Talk › Re: Euro/American Vs Asian Cars (Reliability, Durability & Performance) by InvertedHammer: 6:04pm On Feb 17, 2013

The way I see it...in a layman's explanation, Japanese cars are daily drivers...from point A to point B.
You cannot use Euro cars as daily drivers without paying high cost of maintenance.

More often than not, Euro cars sit in the garage figuring out ways to bankrupt their owners.

In all, older Euro cars are more reliable than these new plastics they build these days.
Mercedes 200, 230, Peugeot 404,504, Landrover (used for towing), etc will go on till the wheels fall off.

These days, cars are only as good as the leases last. After 5yrs, na wahala upon wahala.
Throw in Nigeria mechanics into the mix, then instead of driving your car, you car will turn
around and start driving you.

NYSC › Re: Corpers How Do You Manage Your N19,000 (Alawe) Monthly by InvertedHammer: 12:09am On Feb 15, 2013
I think it can be done:

@ N19800 x 12 = N237600 in a year

Budget: 2 bags of garri : N10,000 ( 1 bag should last about 6 months)
4 pkts of sugar : N2000 (1 pkt for 3 months)
Okro soup budget: N12000 (1 pot of soup per month--research shows okro soup lasts longer others)
Misc.(drinks, travel, recharge card): N20,000 (N5,000 per quarter)
TOTAL : N44,000

So, you should have N193,600 in your account by the end of service.

Judging based on her side of the story?

What prompted the separation in the first place?

Reminds me of a story about a girl that kept telling her boyfriend about
how many men she turned down...the boyfriend then inquired how come she
never mentioned the ones she agreed to.

A lot of people on NL are too emotional to make a good jury.

OP..crucify the guy! You are the only one that knows the truth. Stop seeking
for sympathy from strangers.
